00:00:00
this is the brand new Garmin Enduro 3 a
00:00:02
watch that claims over 300 hours of GPS
00:00:05
battery life like normal GPS battery
00:00:07
life none of this like Ultra track low
00:00:10
update stuff the real deal the question
00:00:12
is is it the real deal and I've been out
00:00:15
here trying to figure that out however
00:00:18
I've still got 22k left in today's hike
00:00:21
and I'm uh 70k into at this point and so
00:00:24
I want to complete this before I get
00:00:26
stuck on a mountain top uh just so I can
00:00:28
finish this video so let's go down and
00:00:30
uh finish it down there okay so with
00:00:31
that hike complete as well as a whole
00:00:33
bunch of other cycling and running and
00:00:34
swimming and you name it we are back
00:00:36
here in the cave to dive into what is
00:00:38
new about the Enduro 3 and I'll give you
00:00:40
something to think about for a second
00:00:42
the price is actually cheaper Garmin for
00:00:44
once dropped the price from $199 to
00:00:47
$8.99 I'm not kidding despite all the
00:00:49
phoenix8 pricing like increases this one
00:00:52
actually got cheaper now will you ponder
00:00:54
that I need 30 seconds to explain the
00:00:55
history of the Enduro Series cuz it
00:00:57
makes a big difference to understand
00:00:59
where they're going so when the Enduro 1
00:01:01
came out in 2022 uh it was essentially a
00:01:04
phoenix 6X with all the useful stuff
00:01:06
removed so stuff like mapping that got
00:01:08
yanked out of course given that most
00:01:10
Ultra Runners and Trail Runners kind of
00:01:12
want Maps that's like the point of a GPS
00:01:14
device that didn't go over super well so
00:01:16
then 18 months later they came back with
00:01:18
the Enduro 2 that took the just released
00:01:21
Garmin Phoenix 7x with all of its
00:01:23
features and just made a bigger battery
00:01:25
out of it and also upgraded the
00:01:26
flashlight to make it a little more
00:01:27
powerful it was as simple as that so
00:01:29
that just became a phoenix 7x Plus+
00:01:32
right not a pro because that's something
00:01:33
else but like a just a bigger chunkier
00:01:35
Phoenix 7x with way more battery life
00:01:37
and that was awesome however for the
00:01:40
Enduro 3 they're kind of split seeing
00:01:42
the difference there between those two
00:01:43
ideals so as I mentioned the First new
00:01:45
thing was the price has dropped the
00:01:46
second new thing is they've added the
00:01:48
New Gen 5 Optical heart rate sensor on
00:01:50
the back that you see right there this
00:01:52
was the same Optical heart rate sensor
00:01:53
released with the Garmin epic Pro and
00:01:55
Phoenix 7 Pro about a year ago and now
00:01:58
it's here as well that is not because
00:02:00
this sensor here is ECG capable at least
00:02:03
for certified countries and as of this
00:02:05
moment that certified country is
00:02:07
currently the US I would expect that to
00:02:09
expand down the road here this also does
00:02:11
rist temperature as well and it's
00:02:12
slightly more accurate not like
00:02:14
massively more accurate but I do find it
00:02:15
more accurate than in the past but don't
00:02:17
worry we'll dive into GPS accuracy and
00:02:19
heart rate accuracy at the end okay so
00:02:20
the next big change then is a massive
00:02:22
increase in battery life this claimed
00:02:24
320 hours that you see right there right
00:02:27
that's a cool chart let's talk about how
00:02:29
they do that which is a new solar panel
00:02:31
design so over here I've got an Enduro 2
00:02:33
which is representative of essentially
00:02:35
all of garmin's existing solar devices
00:02:37
and how they do things and the way it
00:02:39
works is you got this little you can see
00:02:40
on the outside edge right there uh that
00:02:43
is a solar ring and that one isn't
00:02:44
transparent so it gets way more solar
00:02:47
power however across the entire display
00:02:49
is another transparent solar uh panel
00:02:52
and that one gets less power but
00:02:53
contributes to the entire system right
00:02:56
the problem with the one that's over the
00:02:57
top of the display there uh is that it
00:02:59
also contributes to reducing the
00:03:01
visibility of the device you can see
00:03:03
these side by side in brilliant Studio
00:03:06
lighting and this one just looks a
00:03:07
little bit crispier uh this one's a
00:03:09
little bit more like just a tiny bit not
00:03:11
as crispy I don't know how to explain it
00:03:13
just not as crispy right over here on
00:03:15
the Enduro 3 they've done two things
00:03:16
well three things really when it comes
00:03:17
to solar panel uh number one you'll
00:03:19
notice it's black like you can't see it
00:03:22
there's no reddish Hue anymore on any
00:03:24
angle so it's black so it looks like
00:03:26
it's just part of the bezel number two
00:03:28
that ring around the outside is a heck
00:03:30
of a lot thicker looks like about double
00:03:31
the thickness compared to the previous
00:03:33
one and number three there is no longer
00:03:35
a solar panel across the entire display
00:03:37
that is naked if you will across that
00:03:39
middle portion that you actually look at
00:03:40
the screen on uh now at this point
00:03:42
you're probably worried doesn't that
00:03:43
reduce the solar power energy gain but
00:03:46
Garmin says No in fact it's
00:03:48
120% stronger with this new solar panel
00:03:51
design uh and it's not just a sizing and
00:03:53
Arrangement it's actually a totally new
00:03:55
solar panel design as somewhat evidenced
00:03:57
by the color of that particular solar
00:03:59
panel itself hey in a quick note if you
00:04:00
are finding this video interesting
00:04:01
useful now is a great time to either
00:04:03
click the like button or subscribe
00:04:04
button or frankly just watch the video
00:04:06
all the way through just let it play all
00:04:08
the way through that's what YouTube
00:04:09
likes the most I'm not kidding they they
00:04:11
just want you to play it all the way
00:04:12
through so let's get back to whether or
00:04:14
not those battery claims hold water and
00:04:16
to do that I've been as I noted doing
00:04:18
some stupid long tests but also most
00:04:20
importantly I had someone who was
00:04:22
equally as gble with me with another
00:04:24
Enduro 3 to try to like test out some of
00:04:26
these scenarios so de of desfit up in
00:04:28
the corner right there and and I went
00:04:30
out into the Pyrenees got absolutely
00:04:32
drenched nobody can ever say that we
00:04:34
don't put things to the test and to try
00:04:36
to figure out how these different claims
00:04:38
actually line up in real life and on the
00:04:40
first day we did one interesting test uh
00:04:42
we both had Enduro 3s on he left his on
00:04:45
the sa IQ mode here's again the battery
00:04:47
chart right there I left mine on the GPS
00:04:50
only mode and the GPS only mode is the
00:04:52
one they're claiming up to 320 hours of
00:04:54
GPS life with solar and the solar claim
00:04:57
there means that it has to have at least
00:04:59
three hours of Sun per day at 50,000 Lux
00:05:02
50,000 Lux actually isn't that bright
00:05:04
when it comes to Sun it's just a normal
00:05:06
sunny day it's just honestly as simple
00:05:08
as that that is not a problem uh and on
00:05:10
our hike we actually had the first well
00:05:12
the entire morning was sunny uh and then
00:05:14
in the afternoon and evening we got
00:05:15
dumbed on but of course we wanted to
00:05:17
make things realistic and challenging so
00:05:18
of course we had a course loaded on
00:05:20
there uh and we were using that course
00:05:22
in fact we made a pack to use the map
00:05:24
screen the entire time across all the
00:05:27
watches the Phoenix 8 the Enduro 3 the
00:05:29
epics 2 Etc just to see what that would
00:05:32
do we were actually kind of curious on
00:05:33
that now some of us were better at
00:05:36
meming that pack than others uh so
00:05:38
you'll see that in the chart as to which
00:05:39
one of us was better remembering to keep
00:05:41
it on the map screen the entire time and
00:05:43
not going back and forth to clim for and
00:05:44
whatnot uh so with the battery chart in
00:05:47
mind we got the first day here to the
00:05:49
map on the entire time which is the
00:05:51
biggest battery burning thing because
00:05:52
every single step you take moves that
00:05:54
MTH page and it has to redraw it so at
00:05:56
the end of that 9-hour day my unit was
00:05:58
on track for 57 hours of Total capacity
00:06:02
versus Dez's unit was on track for 7.83
00:06:05
hours again I probably did a better job
00:06:07
of keeping on the map page holy um
00:06:09
versus someone else uh now the next day
00:06:12
I went out again for another 10 hours uh
00:06:15
Dez decided that was a a stupid idea uh
00:06:17
so he went off and rode a bunch but in
00:06:19
this case I changed things up a little
00:06:21
bit I kept it on GPS only but I let it
00:06:24
stay mostly on the clim pro screen this
00:06:26
day was actually quite sunny and the
00:06:27
majority of my day was spent above of
00:06:29
the tree line uh and in the sun in some
00:06:31
capacity so I would expect it solar to
00:06:34
contribute quite a bit more here you can
00:06:35
see though at the end of 10 hours here
00:06:38
the Enduro 3 in GPS only mode with again
00:06:40
a course loaded the entire time uh and
00:06:42
me navigating with that course had an
00:06:44
estimated capacity of 123 hours almost
00:06:47
precisely uh their estimate claim uh
00:06:50
they have for GPS only mode without
00:06:52
solar but also that claim doesn't
00:06:54
account for navigation which does of
00:06:56
course bring down those numbers still I
00:06:58
had kept it on the clim Pro page the
00:07:00
entire time and I was honestly a little
00:07:02
bit surprised that that number wasn't
00:07:04
quite a bit higher given the very high
00:07:06
Sun I had for I would say at least 7 to
00:07:08
eight hours of that day uh and the fact
00:07:10
that it was on a text based page so I
00:07:12
shot those results back to Garmin I said
00:07:14
hey this seems a little bit I mean it's
00:07:16
great but it seems a little bit low to
00:07:17
me uh and they actually agreed and they
00:07:20
said yep there's something wrong there
00:07:22
uh and so they looked into it and
00:07:23
there's a firmware update coming in the
00:07:24
next few weeks which should optimize the
00:07:26
battery for the cim Pro page in
00:07:28
particular which is what I was using I
00:07:30
don't know yet whether or not there'll
00:07:31
be a big optimization or a little
00:07:33
optimization I just know it's coming and
00:07:35
at some point in September I'll go out
00:07:36
and do something stupid again just to
00:07:38
see what the impacts to that particular
00:07:40
update are so before we get into some of
00:07:42
the GPS accuracy stuff in the charts
00:07:44
there one of the claims is about that
00:07:46
visibility and Screen improvements and
00:07:49
yes you can clearly see that just
00:07:50
sitting here that this looks sharper if
00:07:52
I go down right now through this we find
00:07:54
two widgets that are basically identical
00:07:57
uh you can see this just looks a little
00:07:58
bit sharper a little bit clearer than
00:08:00
this one over here even when the
00:08:02
backlight turns off there uh and yes
00:08:04
compared to there's a backlight turned
00:08:05
off so you can see what that looks like
00:08:07
uh and it's a little bit better the font
00:08:08
sizes are also a little bit different as
00:08:10
well the screens themselves are the
00:08:12
exact same size by the way so this is
00:08:14
and the screen Technologies are the
00:08:15
exact same underneath it is purely the
00:08:17
difference of that solar panel being
00:08:18
removed I do want to point out there are
00:08:19
scenarios where this display is simply
00:08:21
not all that awesome unless you turn on
00:08:23
the backlight either being gesture based
00:08:25
which is fine but it burns way more
00:08:27
battery life um or having it be uh
00:08:29
manually touched on and so now is a good
00:08:31
time to talk about some of the changes
00:08:33
in the user interface because they is
00:08:34
different it takes the Phoenix 8 user
00:08:36
interface and applies it to this watch
00:08:38
here uh and depending on where you are
00:08:40
you'll notice it more or less I'll
00:08:42
briefly touch on it here but you can
00:08:44
also watch my complete Phoenix 8 user
00:08:46
guide video to see how that works like
00:08:48
in long form because it's the exact same
00:08:50
thing here because it's the same
00:08:51
software uh so this is the endur 3 endur
00:08:54
2 if we go down right here you'll see
00:08:56
the widgets are largely the same right
00:08:57
they're looking the same no major
00:08:59
differences there however where we see
00:09:01
the differences is going over into the
00:09:03
settings so going down here they've
00:09:05
rearranged all the settings under this
00:09:07
right there so that the most used ones
00:09:09
are at the top and they're grouped
00:09:11
differently now the idea being to make
00:09:13
it easier for new to Garmin users find
00:09:15
stuff for frankly most Garmin users find
00:09:17
stuff uh the obviously the running joke
00:09:19
in Garmin watches is just there's like a
00:09:21
gazillion rabbit holes of settings and
00:09:23
this tries to clean those up a little
00:09:24
bit however from a sports standpoint
00:09:27
that's the biggest single change so you
00:09:29
top right hand button right there and at
00:09:31
first you're like this looks kind of
00:09:32
similar no it's not so on the top there
00:09:35
these are your favorite sports you could
00:09:37
pin Sports in the past but the way it
00:09:39
works is that right now you can see
00:09:40
there's run bike swim these are the ones
00:09:42
that I favored uh and if I go down again
00:09:44
I go over here to activities this is
00:09:46
where I can access the rest of my sports
00:09:48
so um down further all the categorized
00:09:51
Sports I can open these up uh you know
00:09:54
different categories Etc and I can pin
00:09:56
these to my list right there so you can
00:09:57
see up here I have run by Kik Open Water
00:10:01
uh these are the ones that I've set as
00:10:02
kind of my top ones but if I go back
00:10:04
here to this main page and I scroll down
00:10:07
it goes down to the non-sport apps so
00:10:09
these are like Messenger music garment
00:10:11
share Etc they're all here speaking of
00:10:13
us just as a reminder the Enduro 3 has a
00:10:16
flashlight up top there so you can
00:10:18
change um you know different modes so
00:10:19
there's white mode red mode it's also
00:10:21
got music contactless payments again
00:10:23
it's all the same features as a phoenix
00:10:25
a except for the dive and the speaker uh
00:10:28
microphone pieces that's the only
00:10:29
difference between this and a phoenix 8
00:10:31
it lacks those Hardware pieces there uh
00:10:34
from a again kind of new hardware
00:10:35
perspective so back into here I'm going
00:10:38
to open up the run and again you're
00:10:40
going be like oh that looks similar n no
00:10:41
it's not just scroll down for a second
00:10:43
to see what happens all the settings for
00:10:45
run are now down below very very similar
00:10:48
to what stto does where you can go down
00:10:50
and you can um add structure workouts
00:10:52
you can see my daily suggestion workout
00:10:53
right there for today you can go down
00:10:55
you can add a course here crack open
00:10:57
courses there's this new save function
00:11:00
that basically puts all of your save
00:11:01
navigation things in one spot so I can
00:11:03
open up this course right here and then
00:11:05
I can see details about the course uh I
00:11:08
can go more I can do the course in
00:11:10
Reverse I can view climbs uh let's see
00:11:12
load this up right here so this is the
00:11:13
first climb 980 M and 4.74 km fun times
00:11:18
um and can go back here and then I can
00:11:21
choose to do course let me go up where's
00:11:23
do course come on do course there we go
00:11:26
and now it's going to load the course
00:11:27
into my activity
00:11:30
and so now you'll see the course is
00:11:31
loaded right there across the middle so
00:11:33
it shows that one right there uh and
00:11:34
then I would be able to hit start to
00:11:36
start this particular course now Watch
00:11:39
What Happens here so while I was editing
00:11:40
this I found the footage that I actually
00:11:42
shot this entire next section out on the
00:11:44
trail in the middle of the hike so let's
00:11:45
go there now okay so let's just take a
00:11:46
look at the new UI and how this works
00:11:49
while you're out in activity in the
00:11:50
middle of this super long hike so I'm
00:11:52
25k or 2.49k into this uh that's my
00:11:55
compass heading right there you can see
00:11:56
that as I move there we go um but I'm
00:11:58
going to go down these are all my normal
00:12:00
data Pages these are things I've set up
00:12:02
just like you normally would on any
00:12:03
other G device it's all the same right
00:12:05
here as well there's my map page going
00:12:07
down again uh you can see my clim Pro
00:12:09
page again these are things I've set up
00:12:11
so middle of it as scent right here 274
00:12:13
m to go at 1.5 km in this 1.54 km in
00:12:17
this particular descent now I can swipe
00:12:19
to the right though and it immediately
00:12:20
says hey yo you got to unlock this so
00:12:22
there we go I can do tap unlock just
00:12:24
like that and again you can turn that
00:12:26
off if you don't like that uh but I can
00:12:27
swipe to the right hey come on turn that
00:12:29
off there we go um I can swipe to the
00:12:30
right and this is where I can set up my
00:12:31
music on this device uh in this case
00:12:34
this watch hasn't been reset up with
00:12:35
music on it but I would find my Spotify
00:12:37
or Amazon music or YouTube music or MP3s
00:12:39
whatever it may be all right here
00:12:41
swiping back to the left right there uh
00:12:43
you got my normal data Pages again and
00:12:44
then swiping again once more left I've
00:12:46
got what is effectively like a control
00:12:48
panel so I can go down right there and
00:12:49
you can see change sport save location
00:12:51
all the navigation options you would
00:12:53
have all the activity settings for this
00:12:54
particular activity profile so hiking in
00:12:56
this case all my normal watch settings
00:12:58
so Wi-Fi and my cell phone stuff like
00:13:01
that is all right there uh and then up
00:13:03
here is the navigation panel so I can
00:13:05
tap into this and see all of my
00:13:07
navigation related data fields data
00:13:09
pages in one shot going down uh I can
00:13:12
see whether not I'm on or off course
00:13:13
distance remaining so 1936 km my ETA
00:13:16
tonight uh 9913 down again these are way
00:13:19
points I've set up so I got a small town
00:13:21
up ahead in 2.3k or I'm hoping for some
00:13:23
ice cream I've got the bigger Town
00:13:25
campgrounds and topest time below that
00:13:28
you'll notice that while this screen is
00:13:29
now locked I can still use the up and
00:13:31
down buttons like you'd expect and these
00:13:33
are all my clim Pro climbs and then
00:13:35
finally where I am on this particular
00:13:37
course in terms of an elevation profile
00:13:39
uh I split this course into two days uh
00:13:40
basically roughly in half there so on my
00:13:42
second day right here sorry there's lots
00:13:44
of fli here um but you can see 1,700 M
00:13:47
today uh 430 430 M remaining you can see
00:13:50
where I am and I'm basically like I'm
00:13:52
past the rough stuff and it's just kind
00:13:53
of a pretty chill rest of the day here
00:13:56
and if you want to get back to the main
00:13:57
page you just simply swipe right again
00:13:59
you do have to unlock it but you can
00:14:00
swipe back and then here you are on the
00:14:02
main data Pages now that said let's get
00:14:04
into the accuracy side of things cuz
00:14:06
this is this is fun I had some I was
00:14:08
pushing the boundaries a little bit here
00:14:09
uh so starting off with the simple stuff
00:14:11
um here is basically a GPS Test in a
00:14:14
city going back and forth down some
00:14:15
buildings just to like establish a
00:14:17
baseline you can see it is perfectly
00:14:19
fine this is in s IQ mode no problems at
00:14:22
all also just for funsies here's the
00:14:24
heart rate from that again zero issues
00:14:26
whatsoever it's good across the board
00:14:27
it's just some minor nuance in cycling
00:14:30
Outdoors as the train gets rougher where
00:14:31
you'll see some variants but uh for
00:14:33
running I've had no issues whatsoever uh
00:14:36
instead though let's look into the
00:14:38
mountains uh because that's where things
00:14:39
matter a bit and here on this first
00:14:41
screen this is where I had the Enduro 3
00:14:44
and GPS only mode but Dez had his in s
00:14:46
IQ mode and you can see going up this
00:14:48
slope in the woods here this was like
00:14:50
25% or so uh most of the side kind of a
00:14:52
bank if you will with kind of dense
00:14:54
trees that the one in the GPS only mode
00:14:56
wasn't quite as good um you can see kind
00:14:58
of bit more more wandering and whatnot
00:15:00
but it wasn't bad either like it it's
00:15:02
not horrible it just simply wasn't quite
00:15:03
as crispy as the rest of the units there
00:15:05
that were in s IQ mode here we are
00:15:07
descending down next to some really high
00:15:09
Cliffs Cliffs that I don't know went
00:15:10
like maybe 500 ft up straight up next to
00:15:13
us here very very steep Cliffs very
00:15:15
close to them poor GPS uh coverage yet
00:15:18
from an accuracy standpoint all the
00:15:20
watches were basically indistinguishable
00:15:22
back and forth in those switchbacks
00:15:23
there's no meaningful difference there
00:15:24
and again if we look at the total
00:15:25
distance stats at the end of that day
00:15:27
one there on 28 km the distance variance
00:15:30
was a maximum of 300 M between the
00:15:32
lowest and the highest unit that's it
00:15:34
that's not too bad almost all those
00:15:36
units if we took away the GPS only one
00:15:38
were within 200 M which is again very
00:15:41
solid given the challenging train and
00:15:43
the weather since it was dumping
00:15:45
thunderstorm and hail and all that kind
00:15:46
of stuff uh good job there so then
00:15:49
looking at the second day here again I
00:15:51
compared GPS only and sat IQ side by
00:15:53
side and across the board it was
00:15:55
virtually identical especially once I
00:15:57
got above the tree line there was no
00:15:59
difference whatsoever between these
00:16:00
units they were spot on I did though see
00:16:03
more difference in the total distance at
00:16:04
the end of this day um 38 Colm for the
00:16:07
Enduro 3 and GPS only mode versus the
00:16:10
rest of them were somewhere between 35.6
00:16:12
7 and 37.8 km so a bit more variance
00:16:16
there I don't really know why I'm kind
00:16:17
of surprised but there was also a lot of
00:16:19
bushwacking I had to do at one point for
00:16:21
an hour or so so maybe that contributed
00:16:23
in some way shape or form however we've
00:16:25
have one more Rabbit Hole to unravel
00:16:27
here when it comes to the Enduro 3 as
00:16:29
well as the Phoenix AG which is a
00:16:31
setting that allows you to go ahead and
00:16:33
have it automatically process your
00:16:35
tracks afterwards to correct for GPS and
00:16:38
accuracies specifically it'll do that
00:16:40
when it sees the GPS accuracy of the
00:16:42
device it was questionable during a
00:16:43
route it won't do it for every single
00:16:46
activity it only does it for pedestrian
00:16:48
activities so running hiking walking Etc
00:16:50
as well as Open Water swims and what it
00:16:52
does it takes all the internal sensor
00:16:54
data in the watch so things like the
00:16:56
gyro and the accelerometer uh and the
00:16:58
compass and all that fun all that data
00:17:00
there and then it sends up the Garment
00:17:02
connect and then it tries to correct for
00:17:04
any inaccuracies and pulls it back down
00:17:06
again uh and so what I've been doing is
00:17:08
capturing both the before and after file
00:17:10
uh for all of my activities to see where
00:17:13
I could spot these differences and I'm
00:17:15
going to do an entirely separate video
00:17:16
on that because it's it's super
00:17:17
fascinating but just to look at this one
00:17:19
little section here you can see the
00:17:21
Enduro 3 taking before in the after file
00:17:24
and there are differences there very
00:17:26
slight differences but what I tend to
00:17:28
see though is it Smooths out some of the
00:17:30
shake that you see on the GPS only track
00:17:33
uh and makes it nearly identical to the
00:17:35
S IQ track point of that whole kind of
00:17:37
like thing there being that you can more
00:17:39
comfortably use GPS only whereas most
00:17:42
people most the time even myself I would
00:17:43
have said in the back don't don't do
00:17:45
that just just do sad IQ you can use GPS
00:17:47
only to get yourself quite a bit more
00:17:49
battery life without any major impacts
00:17:51
from a GPS accuracy standpoint uh so
00:17:54
that's something to consider and again
00:17:56
there's way more accuracy data in my
00:17:57
written reviews that are linked to down
00:17:59
below there because I just not that
00:18:00
exciting to watch on YouTube to be
00:18:01
honest okay so where are we overall well
00:18:04
essentially the Enduro 3 takes a
00:18:05
software from a phoenix8 the hardware
00:18:08
from a phoenix 7x Pro ands in a new
00:18:11
solar panel uh called the new solar
00:18:14
panel and then that gives you an Enduro
00:18:16
3 right it's just honestly as simple as
00:18:18
that which means that if you are a
00:18:20
myth-based lover that if you didn't care
00:18:21
about diving and you did not care about
00:18:23
a microphone or speaker then this could
00:18:26
really be your Phoenix 8 for you for 300
00:18:29
bucks cheaper like it's it's honestly as
00:18:32
simple as that uh I would look at it
00:18:34
that way as opposed to thinking about
00:18:36
the phoenix8 um being so expensive for
00:18:38
the myth-based displays that's just my
00:18:40
two cents I can't help you if you want a
00:18:42
smaller one or a mediumsized one but at
00:18:44
least that option is there for the
00:18:45
larger ones overall setting aside my
00:18:48
display personal preferences this watch
00:18:50
works pretty darn well uh the UI is a
00:18:53
little bit sluggish at times but it's
00:18:55
also sluggish on the Phoenix 8 as well
00:18:57
at times I suspect that'll get optimized
00:18:59
over the next few weeks and months as
00:19:01
they kind of stick the landing on that
00:19:02
new UI but otherwise I don't really have
00:19:04
any complaints I love how lightweight it
00:19:06
is I'm somewhat indifferent on the strap
00:19:08
only because after you take a shower or
00:19:09
jump in the water and then you put it on
00:19:11
your clothing it looks like you peed
00:19:12
your pants because it makes all your
00:19:14
clothing wet or the couch wet Etc but
00:19:16
you know can't win them all with that if
00:19:18
you found this video interesting or
00:19:19
useful go ahead and whack that like
