- 00:00:01I don't actually know what happens if
- 00:00:02somebody says now clicks no to the
- 00:00:05recording whatever it all stops but uh I
- 00:00:08hope you're okay with that because uh as
- 00:00:10you know we're going to have focus on T1
- 00:00:12today not everybody is able to join
- 00:00:14during the day so we've had a few people
- 00:00:16saying whether are we going to do a
- 00:00:17second call uh we will obviously
- 00:00:19consider that but uh as a start at least
- 00:00:21we're going to try to record the call
- 00:00:23here now so I have with me as you saw on
- 00:00:26my first slide GRE who is uh the head of
- 00:00:30of our participation programs and then
- 00:00:32you might give a quick intro to yourself
- 00:00:34greig I think most people here on the
- 00:00:36call know me the uh the regional uh
- 00:00:39partnership manager for Europe uh I know
- 00:00:42a lot of you or most of you I see
- 00:00:43there's a few names I haven't met before
- 00:00:45so great to see some new faces here on
- 00:00:47the call and U the sole purpose really
- 00:00:50of the call today here is really to give
- 00:00:52you some more insights on T1 rugby I
- 00:00:54know a few of the people on their list
- 00:00:56here already knows a bit about the T1
- 00:00:59and have seen introductions uh done
- 00:01:01before when we first launched it uh but
- 00:01:04I felt there was an opportunity to some
- 00:01:06of the calls I've had with with some of
- 00:01:07our unions in Europe that certainly
- 00:01:09people could benefit from more insights
- 00:01:12uh into this and uh who's better at
- 00:01:14doing that than the guy who was part of
- 00:01:16the development team of uh of the T1 and
- 00:01:21that is Greg so Greg I guess that's part
- 00:01:23of your presentation so I won't take
- 00:01:25that away but but I think I'm going to
- 00:01:27give the word to you what's going to
- 00:01:28happen practically here please keep keep
- 00:01:30your your uh keep yourself on mute
- 00:01:33throughout the whole presentation here
- 00:01:36you you're welcome to ask questions at
- 00:01:37some point uh but otherwise just please
- 00:01:40keep using the chat function then I'll
- 00:01:42monitor that and I'll keep uh also an
- 00:01:45eye out for for any hands that you are
- 00:01:48raised for any questions uh and then
- 00:01:50I'll assist Greg running through this
- 00:01:52but uh Greg I think I'm going to hand
- 00:01:54over to you as a start here now and then
- 00:01:57let you uh take us away we great and I
- 00:02:00have discussed we're going to leave
- 00:02:01plenty of room for questions at the end
- 00:02:04so uh but if there's something really
- 00:02:05important to ask for in the in the
- 00:02:07beginning then just as I said use the
- 00:02:09hands function or or write a question in
- 00:02:12the chat but over to you Greg thanks end
- 00:02:16and can you see my
- 00:02:19screen yes I can certainly see it yeah
- 00:02:22great well good morning everyone and and
- 00:02:24and thank you Yen and thank you uh rugby
- 00:02:27Europe for for the invite today I'm
- 00:02:29going to take about 25 minutes uh going
- 00:02:31through some slides around T1 rugby and
- 00:02:34we'll have plenty of opportunity then to
- 00:02:35have some question answers you know
- 00:02:37around that my name is Greg Woods
- 00:02:39participation programs manager working
- 00:02:41under Jason Lewis in the team and my
- 00:02:44fellow colleague Nanette uh from Cape
- 00:02:46Town is is on the call as well today so
- 00:02:49pleasure to meet you all I know some of
- 00:02:50you might have seen some of these slides
- 00:02:52before but I've also put in since uh
- 00:02:55January as well so we'll write up the
- 00:02:57date around where T1 rugby is across the
- 00:02:59the world and happy to share everything
- 00:03:02that we have that
- 00:03:04today so just to give you a bit of a
- 00:03:06context around and the sort of agenda
- 00:03:08for the presentation I think it's really
- 00:03:10important when I've done this with other
- 00:03:12Regional associations to give some
- 00:03:14background and context around T1 rugby
- 00:03:17to give you the
- 00:03:21narrative of course the bulk of the the
- 00:03:24session will be around the game design
- 00:03:26okay and The Branding and T1 rug be
- 00:03:28explained so hopefully you go away after
- 00:03:29this hour doing a lot more around T1
- 00:03:32rugby than when you did at the start
- 00:03:34also then highlighting the resources
- 00:03:35that we have available I'll give you a
- 00:03:37brief update of the current picture
- 00:03:41where we feel the next steps next steps
- 00:03:43are uh is a miss me to say I should have
- 00:03:45said at the start Yen has got a copy of
- 00:03:47this presentation already so after the
- 00:03:50after the call you know he'll happily
- 00:03:51send it over to yourself so please feel
- 00:03:54free don't don't need to take
- 00:03:55photographs or anything like that you
- 00:03:57will have a copy of the of the full
- 00:03:58presentation as we as we go forward
- 00:04:01there are a few videos embedded in it
- 00:04:03and our learnings from doing the whole
- 00:04:05project around T1 rugby Sometimes using
- 00:04:08video through a teams or Zoom type of
- 00:04:11format doesn't do the videos justice so
- 00:04:13I'll skip the videos and you can watch
- 00:04:15them in your own Leisure Time you know
- 00:04:17you know post the call but it's it's two
- 00:04:19or three included in the presentation
- 00:04:21which you will have access to post post
- 00:04:24this
- 00:04:25session so T1 rugby we launched it to
- 00:04:28the membership doing General assembly in
- 00:04:30in Rugby World Cup 23 in October uh it's
- 00:04:34a it's been a huge priority program for
- 00:04:37for World rugby to create a non- cont
- 00:04:39product and I was very fortunate to to
- 00:04:42be uh quite a quite a key figure really
- 00:04:44in the development of the of the format
- 00:04:46working with certain unions to make sure
- 00:04:48that we get it to the position that is
- 00:04:50currently in
- 00:04:52today you know basically we we identify
- 00:04:56the need for a non- contct game you know
- 00:04:58the broad and the reach you know we got
- 00:05:00a fantastic product around 15s and
- 00:05:02sevens you know we don't want to deta
- 00:05:05from that but what we wanted to do is to
- 00:05:07increase our sort provision and increase
- 00:05:09our markets now you know like like I saw
- 00:05:12really around there hundreds of
- 00:05:14different formats out there in the
- 00:05:15market you know different providers
- 00:05:17providing alternative formats but
- 00:05:19there's nothing that world rugby had as
- 00:05:21his as his own product and at the start
- 00:05:23of the journey we we done a huge amount
- 00:05:25of desktop research around is it one out
- 00:05:28there already that we could use
- 00:05:30but it was you know and around the
- 00:05:32consultation that we had with all unions
- 00:05:34that it feel that none of them really
- 00:05:36out like Rugby Union lots of the
- 00:05:38products out there doesn't really do
- 00:05:40justice to the great game of ours so we
- 00:05:42feel that we we had to get into this
- 00:05:44space and we have to work really hard to
- 00:05:46make sure we put it there we have a
- 00:05:48group within World rugby called the game
- 00:05:50group that meet weekly really to discuss
- 00:05:52all topics uh around rugby across the
- 00:05:55world and they give four guiding
- 00:05:57principles to myself and the and the
- 00:05:58project group really that you know
- 00:06:00creating this non- cont product had to
- 00:06:03have a couple of guiding principles one
- 00:06:05it has to be accessible and no entry is
- 00:06:07entry the barriers it has to be easy to
- 00:06:10understand okay looks like Rugby Union
- 00:06:13and and it was an energy towards touch
- 00:06:16now easy to understand rugby is a
- 00:06:18complex game okay we're the only sport
- 00:06:20that runs forward passes back we have
- 00:06:22lots of instances like set pieces
- 00:06:24breakdown areas very tactical and
- 00:06:27Technical elements of our game so trying
- 00:06:29to something easy and something quite uh
- 00:06:32simplistic for people to pick up is
- 00:06:34quite a difficult task looks like Rugby
- 00:06:36Union and I'll talk about this quite a
- 00:06:38lot throughout the presentation and I
- 00:06:40make no apologies around it lots of our
- 00:06:42alternative Provisions have key
- 00:06:44principles of other sports so lots of
- 00:06:47alternative games potentially could pass
- 00:06:48the ball forward you could put put your
- 00:06:50ball between the legs you know like a
- 00:06:52roll Ball but that doesn't happen in a
- 00:06:54rugby union game there's very few
- 00:06:56instances that that that would happen so
- 00:06:59we want to make sure that our T1 rugby
- 00:07:01product really looks and feels like
- 00:07:03Rugby Union and from the initial
- 00:07:05feedback that we had so far that's
- 00:07:07probably been his key strength as we go
- 00:07:10forward you know the two words that I
- 00:07:13highlighted in this slide really and it
- 00:07:14come from the New Zealand Rugby Union as
- 00:07:16part of the working group you know lots
- 00:07:18of we didn't want people to feel that
- 00:07:20playing a non- contct version of game
- 00:07:21year on the outside of our rugby family
- 00:07:24and you're not part of the of the Rugby
- 00:07:26Club and the and and the rugby the rugby
- 00:07:28establishment so we needed to make sure
- 00:07:30there was a legitimate and credible
- 00:07:31version of our game so when we had
- 00:07:34decisions to make around the game design
- 00:07:36and when we had decisions to make around
- 00:07:38the look and feel of the game does it
- 00:07:40look legitimate and does it look
- 00:07:41credible you know and I think it's
- 00:07:42really important that you know that
- 00:07:44context and background from the four
- 00:07:46guiding principles but also from a
- 00:07:48legitimate incredible point of view and
- 00:07:51me it make it look and feel like Rugby
- 00:07:53Union so we so this is it and I think
- 00:07:56Jason Lewis my line manager is on the
- 00:07:58call you know we say we have three
- 00:08:00formats of rugby we have 15s aside we
- 00:08:02have seven aside and we have T1 rugby
- 00:08:05you know and that's our vision going
- 00:08:06forward so it is part of it you know
- 00:08:08that you're not a T1 rugby player you're
- 00:08:10just a rugby player and it's a game for
- 00:08:12everyone played by
- 00:08:14anyone just theot next couple of slides
- 00:08:17really is the sort of Journey that we
- 00:08:18went on so this is not something that
- 00:08:20was just put together really quickly it
- 00:08:22was around a 2-year program that
- 00:08:24involved around 15 for sorry about 14 15
- 00:08:27unions heavily involved in technical
- 00:08:30staff coming on board to do that it
- 00:08:32started with a members uh Union
- 00:08:34questionnaire that went out to all of
- 00:08:35you and said is there a need for a non-
- 00:08:37contct version and the answers from that
- 00:08:40question here really set this game uh
- 00:08:42game group project up you know we
- 00:08:45done hours and hours of global Pilots
- 00:08:48you know so we we we tried and errored
- 00:08:51lots of the sort of game design and the
- 00:08:53processes that we had to do you know
- 00:08:54around there so from the from the fields
- 00:08:57of Stelling BOS and South Africa to the
- 00:08:59home unions in Europe um to LA and and
- 00:09:03Singapore in Asia and Vietnam you know
- 00:09:05we we we done lots of global Pilots
- 00:09:07around that just to make sure that we we
- 00:09:09tried it with different
- 00:09:11demographics um different ages Etc on
- 00:09:14that so from us we really comfortable
- 00:09:16around that we really tried and tested
- 00:09:19you know that process the constant
- 00:09:21consultation was really important to
- 00:09:22make sure that we brought member unions
- 00:09:24on board with us you know throughout
- 00:09:26that the game design and probably where
- 00:09:29I probably spent a lot of my time that's
- 00:09:31that's the easy bet you know that's
- 00:09:32that's rugby people being in the room
- 00:09:34and looking at the analysis and the
- 00:09:36Insight that you're getting one of the
- 00:09:38real difficult parts of this program was
- 00:09:40obviously the naming and branding of
- 00:09:41that you know the Unicorn name is not
- 00:09:44out there you know and and we're pretty
- 00:09:46you know we've been pretty clear on that
- 00:09:48but you know we' done a lot of work and
- 00:09:50we and we and we tried and tested again
- 00:09:53and kept to the same guiding principles
- 00:09:54that we landed on T1 rugby and I'll talk
- 00:09:57around that narrative around the name as
- 00:09:59that's really important if you're going
- 00:10:00to be launching this in your unions and
- 00:10:02when you're embedding it into your rugby
- 00:10:04Pathways from there and obviously we
- 00:10:06launched it in October just some of the
- 00:10:09figures for you you know and and all
- 00:10:11this footage is available if people
- 00:10:13wanted to look at the pilot sessions and
- 00:10:15look at all the game analysis and the
- 00:10:17and the and the Insight that we gain
- 00:10:19from that you know that that was a real
- 00:10:21good piece of work from us as a as as a
- 00:10:23working group because we felt that
- 00:10:25everyone had a voice everyone listened
- 00:10:27everyone contributed um and we really
- 00:10:30believe that this is a real joint effort
- 00:10:32to create T1 rugby the way it is
- 00:10:37today just to touch now on the on the
- 00:10:40narrative and The Branding of of of T1
- 00:10:42rugby you know it's touch it can be
- 00:10:46played in The Touch version it can be
- 00:10:47played in the tag version but it is one
- 00:10:49rugby you know it's you know any
- 00:10:52decision we had to make around the game
- 00:10:54we know we always landed back to what it
- 00:10:56looks like in the 15er side and sevener
- 00:10:57side you know game of that and making
- 00:10:59sure is's legitimate and credible but
- 00:11:01you got to build your own narrative
- 00:11:03around that you know touch together one
- 00:11:05game you know it's just rugby you know
- 00:11:07but also as World rugby have a
- 00:11:09responsibility across the world it has
- 00:11:10to be globally recognizable and
- 00:11:13translatable so we landed on T1 rugby we
- 00:11:16tested that out into the market we felt
- 00:11:18that it fitted it's a little bit
- 00:11:20different as well it's a bit sexier it's
- 00:11:22a bit is a bit more edgy you know to
- 00:11:25compared to what we probably have in our
- 00:11:26own portfolio currently and it's
- 00:11:28something that we want around that so
- 00:11:30like I said we keep going back to 15er
- 00:11:32side s side and T1
- 00:11:35rugby you see some of the branding
- 00:11:37images and and I'm more than happy to
- 00:11:39share when when Yen sends out the
- 00:11:41presentation I'll send out the brand
- 00:11:43guidelines for you guys to to use and
- 00:11:45and maximize and utilize you know
- 00:11:47throughout your programs some of you are
- 00:11:48already using it which is which is great
- 00:11:50to see um but you know we got this real
- 00:11:53look and it looks a little bit different
- 00:11:54than what we currently have you know and
- 00:11:55that's something that was really
- 00:11:56important you know for us so hopefully
- 00:12:00that covers off the sort of background
- 00:12:01and context you know and I'm more than
- 00:12:03happy to pick up individual
- 00:12:05conversations with unions if you wanted
- 00:12:07to go a little bit more deeper into that
- 00:12:09but really now we come on to the sort of
- 00:12:11game itself you know and you know we're
- 00:12:14extremely happy with the way that this
- 00:12:16has played out and the feedback that
- 00:12:17we've had already from 60 plus unions
- 00:12:20that already put T1 rugby into the into
- 00:12:23the rugby landscape since October has
- 00:12:26been fantastic so it's s aside played on
- 00:12:28half a pitch
- 00:12:29it's our only format the game that males
- 00:12:31and females can play together you know
- 00:12:33and that was really important for us to
- 00:12:35make it really accessible uh you know
- 00:12:37for all and I'll touch on some of the
- 00:12:39key elements which I'm sure the rugby
- 00:12:42technical experts in your Unions would
- 00:12:44really like to see but it's our own
- 00:12:46breakdown it's our own kick in it's our
- 00:12:48own a setpiece element which we you know
- 00:12:50really pleased that is is embedded in
- 00:12:53into this all these resources that I'll
- 00:12:55be shown in the next couple of slides
- 00:12:57they're on a they're on our website for
- 00:12:59you to download and use they're in uh
- 00:13:01French and Spanish currently but I know
- 00:13:04other unions have already translated
- 00:13:05them into their own languages to help
- 00:13:07with the ease of of roll out but just uh
- 00:13:11just to touch on we felt as a working
- 00:13:14group that rugby has certain DNA you
- 00:13:16know and it's really important that this
- 00:13:18is this looks and feels like Rugby Union
- 00:13:20and these were the the sort of four key
- 00:13:22areas uh kick in scrums and line outs
- 00:13:26now as a as an ex front row forward I
- 00:13:28didn't do much kicking in my Rugby
- 00:13:30career but lots of people tell me that
- 00:13:32kicking is a real fun part of the game
- 00:13:34and you know is a real enjoyable part
- 00:13:36for that so we tried it without kicking
- 00:13:39we tried it with kicking the one thing
- 00:13:40that kicking does provide is the actual
- 00:13:42skill itself you know so wherever you're
- 00:13:45placing it into your pathway having the
- 00:13:47ability to kick in a non-c cont format
- 00:13:49without that pressure of contact it's a
- 00:13:52it's a fantastic asset but also it
- 00:13:54creates space and it m relates the
- 00:13:56defensive lines you know you know around
- 00:13:59that non-c contct space traditionally in
- 00:14:01in traditional touch games it's very
- 00:14:03much uh line online defense so it's
- 00:14:06really you know not much space there but
- 00:14:08the ability to put the ball through and
- 00:14:10behind uh a defensive line you know
- 00:14:13really changes the the characteristics
- 00:14:15of the game now as a front row forward I
- 00:14:17love scrums and line outs so it's really
- 00:14:19important that they were in there but
- 00:14:22this this comes into really making it
- 00:14:24look credible and legitimate so it's a
- 00:14:26it's a restart it's as simple as that
- 00:14:28you know we could have quite easily
- 00:14:29tapped them past and and played but you
- 00:14:32know forming a line out a three on three
- 00:14:34line out a three on three scrum
- 00:14:36uncontested you know using the
- 00:14:38fundamental skills of throwing the ball
- 00:14:40in uh placing the ball into the scrum
- 00:14:42hooking the ball in the scrum to come
- 00:14:44back you know they are excellent
- 00:14:46examples where this could be placed in
- 00:14:47any part of your pathway of introducing
- 00:14:49the game to players that that never
- 00:14:51played before but also then for players
- 00:14:54that you know are coming back into the
- 00:14:56game so they really you know they they
- 00:14:58understand what we're trying to do we
- 00:15:00probably spent around six months looking
- 00:15:02at the breakdown area that was the
- 00:15:04fundamental part of of how this game
- 00:15:06works and we created a situation where
- 00:15:09it's two attackers and three Defenders
- 00:15:11and and lots of the resources you see we
- 00:15:14talk around this Golden Triangle where
- 00:15:16there's more defenders in it than than
- 00:15:18than attackers So that obviously
- 00:15:20automatically helps the the attackers in
- 00:15:23this space you know so we're always
- 00:15:25creating overload situations to do that
- 00:15:27and we spent lots of analysis time
- 00:15:30looking about the sort of flow of the
- 00:15:32game to make sure that you do that so
- 00:15:34every breakdown area instead of putting
- 00:15:36the ball on the floor and and putting it
- 00:15:37through your legs and running back five
- 00:15:3910 Metter which we don't do in in 15
- 00:15:42aside and S aside rugby we actually
- 00:15:44create a breakdown area uh you know on
- 00:15:46that the ball is kept off the floor
- 00:15:48which is great for if you're playing the
- 00:15:50game in in grass or in concrete or in
- 00:15:52sports halls or on beaches um you know
- 00:15:56it's a it's a sport that can be played
- 00:15:58above that so you know please have a
- 00:16:01look at the videos around the breakdown
- 00:16:02area online it explains it really well
- 00:16:05um and and it makes the game really
- 00:16:07exciting from an attacking point of
- 00:16:10view just I put this line I put this
- 00:16:12slide in really just it's a breakdown of
- 00:16:15the breakdown of the of the rules but
- 00:16:17the the bit I want to draw your
- 00:16:19attention to really is the bit on the
- 00:16:20right so we have our game on uh
- 00:16:23flexibility uh across our 15s and sens
- 00:16:26games now in the community rugby space
- 00:16:28where you you know you can match numbers
- 00:16:30um you can fix the sort of pitch sizes
- 00:16:32Etc so we want to make it have a global
- 00:16:35feel but b a local flexibility towards
- 00:16:38that so it can be played in touch and
- 00:16:39tag you know some count said to us that
- 00:16:42potentially we could go a one-on-one
- 00:16:44lineup contest with no lift you know the
- 00:16:47breakdown area you know if the three
- 00:16:49Defenders are in before the two
- 00:16:51attackers go in could we potentially
- 00:16:52turn the ball over in a breakdown like
- 00:16:54it happens in the normal 15 as side or
- 00:16:56seven side game of rugby you know
- 00:16:59it could have two players having two
- 00:17:00touches before stopping but you know
- 00:17:03from our point of view we've created a
- 00:17:04core set of rules which is T and rugby
- 00:17:07but we have you have the ability and
- 00:17:09power then to flex to suit your
- 00:17:10environment which I think is really H
- 00:17:13Forward Thinking and and a really
- 00:17:15adaptive adaptive approach that we've
- 00:17:16taken so take some time to have a look
- 00:17:18at those game on and and and some of
- 00:17:21that as an example the breakdown area
- 00:17:24contest if you put that in the speed of
- 00:17:26the game is so much quicker on that
- 00:17:30so that's the game itself moving on to
- 00:17:32the sort of resources that we' provided
- 00:17:34we wanted to get enough resources out
- 00:17:36there from for the start of this year so
- 00:17:38people can start using it and utilizing
- 00:17:40it so we have the game infographic we
- 00:17:42have a rules infographic we have a short
- 00:17:45rules document if you're like for myself
- 00:17:47that just wants to get out there and
- 00:17:48start playing but also then we have long
- 00:17:50long rules document which is I think I
- 00:17:53got our laws department down to seven
- 00:17:55pages you know so that we really tried
- 00:17:57and tested you know these these these
- 00:18:00rules we have lots of explainer videos
- 00:18:03and every part of the game broken down
- 00:18:05we have a match manager sheet we didn't
- 00:18:07want to be too formal around refereeing
- 00:18:09we just wanted people to get out there
- 00:18:11and and and to help just facilitate
- 00:18:14games and then also then we're going to
- 00:18:16be building more resources as we go so
- 00:18:19these are examples that you can download
- 00:18:21for yourself on on the
- 00:18:23website I just want to touch on the
- 00:18:25right hand side of this slide since
- 00:18:27we've launched in October
- 00:18:29unions already come back to us and said
- 00:18:31that you know it's going down really
- 00:18:33well but we need some more resources so
- 00:18:36we're currently probably 60% in of
- 00:18:39building a full schools curriculum
- 00:18:40around T1 rugby so that will be for
- 00:18:43primary school age secondary school high
- 00:18:45school age and University where that
- 00:18:47will be six to eight weeks lesson plans
- 00:18:50with around 30 activities around lesson
- 00:18:52organizers assessment grids everything
- 00:18:55that you would need to go into a school
- 00:18:56or educational setting that would be a
- 00:18:59huge amount of resource which we're
- 00:19:01going to be putting online in in the
- 00:19:03summer which I'm sure that you could
- 00:19:05adapt to your educational establishments
- 00:19:07in your countries but the work will be
- 00:19:09done for you every session every
- 00:19:12activity up to what T1 rugby is that is
- 00:19:16that'll be created ready for the summer
- 00:19:18we're exploring around the T1 rugby app
- 00:19:20you know just so that we can get the
- 00:19:22information out there to the people who
- 00:19:24are running the WhatsApp groups to get
- 00:19:26these activities running but also then
- 00:19:28actually collecting data around that
- 00:19:30that's probably a longer project and and
- 00:19:32we're exploring that will Rugby of how
- 00:19:34we can utilize that for our unions do
- 00:19:37that another one that will be up by the
- 00:19:39summer will be lots of people already
- 00:19:41running T1 rugby events you know through
- 00:19:44a multiple settings um so we got an
- 00:19:46events checklist that we're producing
- 00:19:48that you can download use give to your
- 00:19:51volunteers that are running those events
- 00:19:53to make sure that you cover off
- 00:19:54everything uh that you need to to make
- 00:19:56it a fantastic um spec
- 00:19:59also then we've had feedback saying um
- 00:20:02it's a great referee tool to develop
- 00:20:04referees within unions because obviously
- 00:20:06we have a breakdown we have a set piece
- 00:20:08we have the flow of the game which is
- 00:20:10needed so we're looking at developing a
- 00:20:12more of a a user friendly rugby referee
- 00:20:15resource you know around that because T1
- 00:20:17rugby is not also developing players and
- 00:20:20and engaging players it can also help
- 00:20:22with match officials which we have found
- 00:20:24out and also people have come back to us
- 00:20:26and said look we just want to see full
- 00:20:27games in action
- 00:20:29so next Friday we're already starting to
- 00:20:31to to film some live games just so that
- 00:20:34people can see the game in in full flow
- 00:20:37so you know we believe we have a full
- 00:20:39comprehensive list of resources there
- 00:20:41which is plenty enough for you to get up
- 00:20:43and go in and start working but like
- 00:20:45always throughout this project we all
- 00:20:47listen to the membership and if
- 00:20:48membership is asking us for more
- 00:20:50resources or different ones that we're
- 00:20:52not thinking around we'll certainly
- 00:20:53explore and see if that could
- 00:20:56happen you know this is probably the
- 00:20:58most important slide of the presentation
- 00:20:59for people who don't know about T1 rugby
- 00:21:02this is the link that everything is on
- 00:21:04and like you said over the next couple
- 00:21:05of months more resources more videos
- 00:21:08will be going on onto that please feel
- 00:21:11free to send any sort of footage um
- 00:21:14social media coverage to yens that is
- 00:21:16happening in your unions we just love to
- 00:21:19to to to bank that and to load and to
- 00:21:22and to keep a record really of
- 00:21:24everything that is happening you know
- 00:21:25across the world and and and it's
- 00:21:27fabulous to see but you know for us I
- 00:21:30would recommend for all your staff
- 00:21:31within your unions or your coaches you
- 00:21:33know please ask them to to go there at
- 00:21:35the moment like I said is in French
- 00:21:37Spanish and English and some other
- 00:21:39countries have already translated into
- 00:21:41their into their
- 00:21:42language the last couple of the slides
- 00:21:45really is around and I we always put
- 00:21:47this in as a participation team really
- 00:21:49just thinking about the art of the
- 00:21:51possible of T1 rugby because although
- 00:21:53it's really important for where it fits
- 00:21:54into your union you know I just want to
- 00:21:56give you that sort of global approach
- 00:21:58you know you know we believe this is
- 00:22:00another format of the game which will
- 00:22:03definitely give us 1 million new
- 00:22:04community social players you know and
- 00:22:07that that's really important for us to
- 00:22:08grow that fan base to grow that
- 00:22:10participation element of the game you
- 00:22:12know we've really got to maximize the
- 00:22:14mix playing opportunity and it's the
- 00:22:16first and now game the males and females
- 00:22:18of all ages can play together you know I
- 00:22:21have no doubt and Jason will be pushing
- 00:22:22me on this where does it look around
- 00:22:24cross border and international
- 00:22:25opportunities going forward you know
- 00:22:28that you know that's a real um piece of
- 00:22:31work that we that we'll be exploring and
- 00:22:33and working with unions on that what
- 00:22:35that looks like I don't know but I think
- 00:22:37it's important to state that that
- 00:22:39potentially that could happen I have no
- 00:22:41doubt that commercial opportunities will
- 00:22:43arise from T1 rugby because of the the
- 00:22:45accessible nature of it and the amount
- 00:22:47of people that be playing it and I'm
- 00:22:49certainly something that you could put
- 00:22:50in your portfolio uh to to try and grab
- 00:22:54but also then just to try and grab some
- 00:22:56new you know whole community of new fans
- 00:22:59so that's the art of the possible to
- 00:23:00bring this game you know game to life
- 00:23:03and this is where we're working as World
- 00:23:04rugby on
- 00:23:05that and I just put it then from a
- 00:23:08global point of view to a to a regional
- 00:23:10and and and a union you know where does
- 00:23:12T1 rugby fit now I could to put five or
- 00:23:15six boxes you know even more on on this
- 00:23:18slide but you know the the easy pickings
- 00:23:20for us would be around the educational
- 00:23:22establishments but it's got to be more
- 00:23:24than that we don't want T1 rugby to be
- 00:23:26seen as a sort of X sens that he just
- 00:23:28sits on the shelf and he gets brought
- 00:23:30out when it needs to you know does can
- 00:23:32it be really embedded into your rugby
- 00:23:34landscape and your development Pathways
- 00:23:37is it in a club or School setting are
- 00:23:39you going to put it as a as a sort of
- 00:23:42regular activity within no settings is
- 00:23:45it one that you're going to use at a
- 00:23:46social level that you know for adults
- 00:23:48only uh to come together never played
- 00:23:51game before it it it lends perfectly to
- 00:23:54those Mass participation events and I'll
- 00:23:56talk about some of the events that I've
- 00:23:58seen across the world already you know
- 00:23:59to do that but really give us some
- 00:24:02thought around that placement now I
- 00:24:03probably spoke to around 12 to 14 unions
- 00:24:06in Europe already about where they see
- 00:24:08it around referee development around the
- 00:24:11school setting around the Vets product
- 00:24:13around the social summer league you know
- 00:24:16it's all different types of the people
- 00:24:18are really thinking around but where do
- 00:24:20you think it's best placed and where do
- 00:24:21you think you can grow the game of rugby
- 00:24:23using T1 within your
- 00:24:26union so the last bit really of the of
- 00:24:28the of the slide deck before we get into
- 00:24:30some questions is around just just a bit
- 00:24:32of an update so we've created another
- 00:24:35new working group really around just a
- 00:24:37roll out and looking at different
- 00:24:38opportunities for to making sure that
- 00:24:41that you know it's get it's it's having
- 00:24:43the impact that it needs to have you
- 00:24:45know around the world we've done some
- 00:24:48huge participation events which you
- 00:24:49might have seen through social media
- 00:24:51channels around the Cape Town 7s and we
- 00:24:53got ones planned for n next running a
- 00:24:55huge win in Singapore and obviously
- 00:24:57we'll be hopefully doing something
- 00:24:59around the Madrid sevens events we've
- 00:25:01also looked at some commercial
- 00:25:02opportunities around Cape Town 10s as an
- 00:25:04example to do that and get around all
- 00:25:07the regional engagement workshops just
- 00:25:09to make sure because our aim is very
- 00:25:11simple in U1 we want to get T1 rugby
- 00:25:14into every Union's hands you have to
- 00:25:16make sure that like I said I could put
- 00:25:1860 examples down there as Union
- 00:25:20adoptation but the reality is is where
- 00:25:22you see it best placed you know and
- 00:25:24there's been some great examples you
- 00:25:26know across the world where you ions are
- 00:25:29thinking around what to do with T1 rugby
- 00:25:31where can they get benefit from it and
- 00:25:33how can they maximize
- 00:25:35it for us it's you know like I said we
- 00:25:38got some huge events that are coming up
- 00:25:40now around the spring summertime you
- 00:25:41know to do that I'm spending a lot of
- 00:25:43time around the resource development to
- 00:25:46make sure that you got more than enough
- 00:25:47resources to go into any environment uh
- 00:25:50to to to deliver T1 rugby you know on
- 00:25:53that which I spoke about already we're
- 00:25:55going to plan some real big highlight
- 00:25:57events you know just to show the art of
- 00:26:00the possible of what what could be done
- 00:26:02you've probably seen already from our
- 00:26:04world rugby participation projects our G
- 00:26:072.0 our girls participation program our
- 00:26:10work with charitable Partners like Chun
- 00:26:12rugby a lot of it now is all endorsed
- 00:26:14through T1 rugby you know making sure
- 00:26:17that you know they're all aligned to
- 00:26:18make sure that we're all working
- 00:26:20together on that and also we keep on
- 00:26:22working around that legal and Commercial
- 00:26:24discussion around roll out because in
- 00:26:26some countries I have no doubt that the
- 00:26:28commercial opportunity around T1 rugby
- 00:26:30you know will be huge so that's a real
- 00:26:32snapshot the flavor of where we
- 00:26:34currently
- 00:26:36are and just to finish really you know
- 00:26:39I'm more than happy and I'm designated
- 00:26:41lead role on this to to talk to
- 00:26:43individually as a union you know around
- 00:26:44T1 rugby which I've done with so many
- 00:26:46unions already in Europe you know and if
- 00:26:49you'd like to spend an hour we can book
- 00:26:50some time in just to talk about you know
- 00:26:53what you see the future plans of T1
- 00:26:55rugby and where we could potentially
- 00:26:57help so thank you for
- 00:27:01listening thank you Greg fantastic to
- 00:27:05work with a frro who actually delivers
- 00:27:07what he promised 25 minutes exactly that
- 00:27:09was I wasn't always used to that in my
- 00:27:11playing
- 00:27:12time uh well done um I haven't had any
- 00:27:15questions coming up in the chat yet now
- 00:27:17I can say from personal experience I
- 00:27:19actually did Implement T1 rugby in my
- 00:27:23little Club here in Denmark as soon as
- 00:27:25we launched it and I've had great
- 00:27:26success keeping uh
- 00:27:28my uh my players busy over the winter we
- 00:27:31only in Denmark have access to
- 00:27:33artificial Fields where we can't do
- 00:27:35anything contact wise so for us it has
- 00:27:37been a way of actually staying uh
- 00:27:40staying fit over the over the the winter
- 00:27:42time or the winter period and we've
- 00:27:44actually introduced as you said Greg uh
- 00:27:46we' joining us as well and parents that
- 00:27:49have never played rugby before I think
- 00:27:50it's a a great way of actually getting
- 00:27:52to another another understanding of our
- 00:27:55game which I think T1 actually does
- 00:27:57other and just playing touch so so well
- 00:28:00done in uh in coming up with this game
- 00:28:02I'm going to ask the floor here whether
- 00:28:05there's any good questions for Greg or
- 00:28:07any questions really so please raise
- 00:28:10your hand or write any comments you
- 00:28:12might have in the chat here we've got uh
- 00:28:15Mark so Mark's got the first question so
- 00:28:17Mark you can just unmute and ask the
- 00:28:18question if you want oh hi yeah good
- 00:28:21afternoon and uh firstly Greg I'd like
- 00:28:23to say this is a for us it's a fantastic
- 00:28:27initiative um um we we followed it when
- 00:28:30it when it first came out um we've
- 00:28:33already implemented it with in clubs
- 00:28:36with under 12s and under
- 00:28:3814s um and they're just about to start
- 00:28:40it as a a mixed social um adult game to
- 00:28:46to um bring new players in and also to
- 00:28:50retain some of the the the players who
- 00:28:53have who've left um the sport uh here um
- 00:28:57one of the things we found we are
- 00:28:59finding is is how uh important where the
- 00:29:04where we have the set pieces now um the
- 00:29:07line outs and the scrums and the
- 00:29:09breakdown uh how this is really
- 00:29:13improving the game understanding and
- 00:29:15let's say the muscle memory of the young
- 00:29:18players when they then move into into
- 00:29:20contact and move into um the yeah into
- 00:29:24sevens primarily for us so so this I I
- 00:29:28think the real highlight for us of this
- 00:29:30game is with the line outs with the
- 00:29:32scrums with the breakdown is the kids
- 00:29:35unlike with Touch where they just run
- 00:29:36around in circles they're actually
- 00:29:39getting the structure and an
- 00:29:41understanding of the game and then as we
- 00:29:42progress into competing for line outs or
- 00:29:46competing at scrums or whatever excuse
- 00:29:48me uh they already know where they
- 00:29:50should be and I think this is one thing
- 00:29:52that really should be highlighted and
- 00:29:54it's already starting to see uh not
- 00:29:58quite a specialization in positions but
- 00:30:00more of an understanding in positions so
- 00:30:02we really welcome what this has done and
- 00:30:05it and it has really filled a gap um for
- 00:30:08us because we had we had well we used
- 00:30:12with tag not with touch it so we had
- 00:30:15just mad tag and then we had the
- 00:30:18structured game and and this is really
- 00:30:21I'd just like to tell everybody this has
- 00:30:22really filled a gap and has been really
- 00:30:24important for a development in a in a
- 00:30:27young
- 00:30:28and and small count such as
- 00:30:32ours
- 00:30:34please yeah J I just I'll just respond
- 00:30:36to that um one of the one of the key
- 00:30:38things that we don't flex you know
- 00:30:40around T1 rugby and what I've advised
- 00:30:42the unions is that the set piece restart
- 00:30:45and the breakdown is is not for
- 00:30:47negotiation that is T1 rugby because you
- 00:30:49know to keep it credible to keep it
- 00:30:51legitimate to keep back to those four
- 00:30:53guiding principles of the game group you
- 00:30:56know that's what it makes look and feel
- 00:30:57like rugby
- 00:30:58so you can Flex numbers you can Flex pit
- 00:31:01sizes you can put some contestable areas
- 00:31:03in if you if you really want to but you
- 00:31:06know the bits that you're talking around
- 00:31:07sorry the key elements of rugby that
- 00:31:09you're talking around is why we designed
- 00:31:11the game you know and and like I said
- 00:31:13it's great to hear that you got it at
- 00:31:15under the 12's level but also then
- 00:31:16looking at an adult level because you
- 00:31:19know we we we solely believe as well rby
- 00:31:22that we just don't want to see this as a
- 00:31:23as a children's and as a kids product
- 00:31:26you know this is a this is across all
- 00:31:28the development Spectrum around
- 00:31:29especially our adults and and and vets
- 00:31:31rugby so yeah really pleasing Mark what
- 00:31:33what unions
- 00:31:36yourself sorry in Kosovo Ando nice to
- 00:31:39meet you also we've also started to
- 00:31:41introduce it in the schools in North
- 00:31:43Macedonia but they're not a federation
- 00:31:46yet but yeah so we're doing it there in
- 00:31:47the schools program also thank you Mark
- 00:31:52B off Mark um I will give the word to
- 00:31:54Chris and then I'll take a few comments
- 00:31:56from the chat so Chris you
- 00:31:59are yeah so I was having trouble I've
- 00:32:03switched to zoom web because I had to
- 00:32:05update so I was having trouble finding
- 00:32:07where the raise hand so I put a question
- 00:32:08in the chat so you can ignore it because
- 00:32:10I'll ask it now um first off really
- 00:32:14really great I've been looking into this
- 00:32:16since I've heard about it and I've only
- 00:32:18heard about it a week ago so this is
- 00:32:20fantastic and I'll be implementing it
- 00:32:22here in Norway uh as much as I possibly
- 00:32:25can but what I wanted to ask you Greg is
- 00:32:28did you guys because a lot of the rules
- 00:32:31and a lot of the breakdowns seem to be
- 00:32:33around the same structure as rugby 7s
- 00:32:36did you guys look into an experiment
- 00:32:38with rugby
- 00:32:3915s uh playing so that you have like a
- 00:32:42full field with 15 players on the field
- 00:32:44but still have the same breakdown Styles
- 00:32:46I just wondering if that's been explored
- 00:32:48a little bit Yeah Chris we you know
- 00:32:51throughout the the game design we
- 00:32:52probably took 12 months really looking
- 00:32:54at all different sizes of pitches uh but
- 00:32:58I'll summarize we probably created a
- 00:33:00game that was too quick you know and
- 00:33:03because that turns a lot of people off
- 00:33:05so sens now is a is a very conditioned
- 00:33:08highly highly skilled sport so you know
- 00:33:12it's really difficult to create a non-
- 00:33:14contct version because what contact does
- 00:33:15is slow the game up okay contact
- 00:33:18provides elements of the game that
- 00:33:19provides a a a slower Pace um or the
- 00:33:23flow of the game doesn't go as quick so
- 00:33:25we we Tri in error a lot right so so the
- 00:33:28biggest point and I probably skipped
- 00:33:30this over in the presentation one of the
- 00:33:32key strengths of T1 rugby is the
- 00:33:34attacking side can control the speed of
- 00:33:36the playe so you can wait until the
- 00:33:39third Defender comes in so the person
- 00:33:42who plays the ball away dictates the
- 00:33:43speed of the game so if you want to play
- 00:33:45quick you can but if you want to slow it
- 00:33:47down that's fine and the feedback that
- 00:33:49we had from participants a lot of the
- 00:33:52alternative games out there and the non-
- 00:33:53contct games were too quick so take me
- 00:33:56as an example as a retired front or
- 00:33:58forward I'd love to play touch rugby but
- 00:34:01it could be too quick you know but
- 00:34:02because we can control the speed of the
- 00:34:04game so you can dial it up or you can
- 00:34:06dial it down but the time that you play
- 00:34:08the ball away that makes it more
- 00:34:10accessible for people to play and we've
- 00:34:12done a great pilot and I see some of the
- 00:34:14scotch Rugby Union guys here we went up
- 00:34:16the at the curry up in Scotland and we
- 00:34:19used a youth team okay so quite a good
- 00:34:21standard youth team and we were playing
- 00:34:23all different variations of of rules Etc
- 00:34:26we wanted to make sure sure that the
- 00:34:28game is played at the right speed so we
- 00:34:30don't want it too quick and we don't
- 00:34:31want it too slow the only way you can do
- 00:34:33that is having the person who's playing
- 00:34:35the ball away dictate that and we just
- 00:34:37felt that that was the way and on your
- 00:34:40question on the chat we we listened to a
- 00:34:43lot of the participant feedback during
- 00:34:45all the pilots and currently as people
- 00:34:47are playing um it's interesting what
- 00:34:50Mark said we don't really want to create
- 00:34:52positions in T1 rugby so you know if the
- 00:34:55ball is knocked on and it's a scrum we
- 00:34:57just want nearest three people to go
- 00:34:59what will be finding already people are
- 00:35:01say oh I'm a back so I stand out there
- 00:35:03we want to create this environment where
- 00:35:05everyone's just playing in every
- 00:35:06position but you know as we evolve and
- 00:35:08as we get more feedback in the first
- 00:35:10year we we'll look into situations like
- 00:35:13that but is really a game for everyone
- 00:35:15and we want everyone to play all
- 00:35:17positions yeah because as uh as someone
- 00:35:19who normally plays rugby 15s um I can
- 00:35:23see easily adapting this into uh just
- 00:35:26getting positional
- 00:35:28practice into play a lot of it is very
- 00:35:31very very good for getting the position
- 00:35:34whereas in traditional touch rugby it is
- 00:35:38not there's there's no Union 15 or Union
- 00:35:41sens even
- 00:35:43positional teaching done and involved so
- 00:35:46this is this is really great I really
- 00:35:47like it and I I was speaking to a
- 00:35:50country in in South America Union in
- 00:35:52South America and they they using T1
- 00:35:54rugby as a sort of girls introductory a
- 00:35:56female introductory game because of the
- 00:35:58fundamental parts of throwing the ball
- 00:36:00in at the scrum the hook in passing the
- 00:36:03ball away from a scrum half type of
- 00:36:05action you know so they're seeing some
- 00:36:07of the key elements to do that so that's
- 00:36:09where they're placing it but like I said
- 00:36:10take your time as a union think where
- 00:36:12you feel is best placed and where you
- 00:36:14think the best markets are for you know
- 00:36:16for that but what I'm trying to do in
- 00:36:18these calls is give you examples of how
- 00:36:21unions are are utilizing T1 rugby no
- 00:36:24this is perfect thank you very much for
- 00:36:25this I appreciate the answer
- 00:36:29yeah I think you've answered Frederick's
- 00:36:31uh comment about actual feedback from
- 00:36:33players great because you have
- 00:36:37that um then Michael has asked a
- 00:36:41question here from Denmark and that
- 00:36:43might be hinted that his his a country
- 00:36:47fellow Countryman
- 00:36:49here how are we going to make this
- 00:36:51accessible in local languages not only
- 00:36:52Denmark I assume but uh so he wants the
- 00:36:55material translated into Danish
- 00:36:58uh so I don't think we have any plans
- 00:37:01right now it's in Spanish and French
- 00:37:03right yes we got we as a as a as a
- 00:37:06company and as an organization we we
- 00:37:08translate everything into French and
- 00:37:10Spanish and hopefully that Unions would
- 00:37:12take that on board and and utilize their
- 00:37:14channels to you know to translate that
- 00:37:16um you know that's how we can answer
- 00:37:18that Yen but you know I think we looking
- 00:37:20into there has a lot of AI tools at the
- 00:37:23moment that can uh that can actually
- 00:37:25help us translate probably even some of
- 00:37:27the the video material or or even
- 00:37:29countries can do themselves so so the AI
- 00:37:32we looking into how can we do that and
- 00:37:34help make that access in all languages
- 00:37:37and the other part the answer there we
- 00:37:38are exploring that T1 rugby app which
- 00:37:40would solve those type of issues around
- 00:37:42the resourcing so you know but like I
- 00:37:44said that's a longer term project in
- 00:37:462024 but we s we certainly started that
- 00:37:49so you know I think the T1 rugby app
- 00:37:51would would be a potential solution to
- 00:37:54that Michael you want to add something I
- 00:37:56see you came online yeah it's just uh it
- 00:37:59would be really helpful and if if we can
- 00:38:01get it in our local language and uh I
- 00:38:04understand that it's will be difficult
- 00:38:07to translate into all languages for your
- 00:38:10for World rugby but perhaps the cost of
- 00:38:13that could be covered locally but it
- 00:38:15would be nice if there was uh some sort
- 00:38:18of a setup where we could access the
- 00:38:20material and know that you got to
- 00:38:22contact these people and they can help
- 00:38:23you out that would be yeah that's a
- 00:38:26point Michael yeah real good point yeah
- 00:38:28I mean I actually see in the chat rck uh
- 00:38:31I might chat with him on Sunday about
- 00:38:33this but uh so so actually he's
- 00:38:35suggesting to use chat gbg for this and
- 00:38:37and that's what I'm saying we are
- 00:38:38looking into how help
- 00:38:41us we we need the files we need all the
- 00:38:44Practical stuff on how do we do this so
- 00:38:48yeah thanks
- 00:38:50thanks um I think that was it for
- 00:38:53question in the uh in the in the chat
- 00:38:56for now is there any other yes Neil
- 00:38:59Johnson the word is yours go
- 00:39:04on
- 00:39:06hello yeah I was going to say I've
- 00:39:08worked in the business with the
- 00:39:09translation and basically I think uh
- 00:39:12you're talking about resources out the
- 00:39:14way I would say this is one of the most
- 00:39:16important resources you can have because
- 00:39:19as Greg pointed out this can be used at
- 00:39:21the top level or at the absolute bottom
- 00:39:23level in schools that have no idea of
- 00:39:26rugby no culture Trad
- 00:39:28and a lot of the the teachers in the
- 00:39:30schools that's what that's what you meet
- 00:39:32like it's a language problem you know
- 00:39:33you can't read it you won't buy into it
- 00:39:36um I know that world rugby can actually
- 00:39:38translate straight from their database
- 00:39:40because I've worked with that with them
- 00:39:42and I I I would suggest if you could
- 00:39:45just work off that T1 side of the side
- 00:39:48of the the database and just get those
- 00:39:50translated I think it'd be great to be
- 00:39:52honest I think that would that would be
- 00:39:54a huge breakthrough and it wouldn't be a
- 00:39:56high cost resource
- 00:39:58wise without going down to AI because AI
- 00:40:01is a bit like Google translate it can be
- 00:40:05gibberish
- 00:40:07yeah yeah we have people that know more
- 00:40:10about that than I do but I think there's
- 00:40:12some really good AI help tools actually
- 00:40:14at the moment that are a lot better than
- 00:40:16Google translate used to be in the
- 00:40:17beginning but again I'm not the expert
- 00:40:19on that but we're looking into
- 00:40:23it all right any more uh questions for
- 00:40:27for Greg or
- 00:40:30myself no just to reiterate Yen that you
- 00:40:33know like I said if individual unions
- 00:40:36wanted to to have some time with us to
- 00:40:38to talk around where they fitted into
- 00:40:39their rugby development I probably like
- 00:40:42I said all you know 60 plus unions
- 00:40:45already adopting it our aim is to get in
- 00:40:47the hands of everyone of the 140 across
- 00:40:50the world this year and like I said keep
- 00:40:52an eye out for some of the big content
- 00:40:54creation and some of the events that we
- 00:40:55doing to create a buzz around T1 rugby
- 00:40:58but like I said even the small projects
- 00:41:00and and and using it in different
- 00:41:02demographics is really important for us
- 00:41:04you know I know is some countries in
- 00:41:06Europe looking at University formats you
- 00:41:08know things like that that's really
- 00:41:10exciting for us to make sure that we get
- 00:41:11across the full rugby
- 00:41:15landscape yeah great uh so as as Greg
- 00:41:20already promised I'm going to be sharing
- 00:41:21the uh presentation that Greg has used
- 00:41:23today it contains a few uh very helpful
- 00:41:26links uh and it has some videos that are
- 00:41:30very website and I think Greg we also
- 00:41:33discussing how can we continue sharing I
- 00:41:35guess some of the good stories with our
- 00:41:37Network here uh as I wrote out in the in
- 00:41:40the initial email that uh that I sent
- 00:41:42when I invited you for this we have
- 00:41:44created actually for Europe a rugby
- 00:41:47Europe Development Group where where I'm
- 00:41:50actually going to suggest that we're
- 00:41:51going to share good stories so when you
- 00:41:53guys progress on using this and have
- 00:41:55some good uh experiences with this then
- 00:41:57uh then please help share them there for
- 00:42:00the benefit of other unions and the rest
- 00:42:02of us I think that'll be very helpful
- 00:42:04now and obviously if you are not on the
- 00:42:06group already then I'll share the link
- 00:42:08again in my followup to this call uh so
- 00:42:10please also use that as a space to uh to
- 00:42:14to share good experiences but again if
- 00:42:16you have something really uh essential
- 00:42:18then please reach out to Greg and myself
- 00:42:21um we're happy to to help and try and
- 00:42:24guide on
- 00:42:26this if there's no more questions I
