Israel One Year After October 7th Terror Attack: A New Era in Defense Technology

- 00:01:347th it's one year since uh the
- 00:01:37anniversary of the attacks uh Hamas
- 00:01:39attacking uh the kabut on the southern
- 00:01:41border on Gaza and uh we chose this time
- 00:01:44uh in particular because of the
- 00:01:45memorials and somber remembrance of what
- 00:01:48occurred here but also because one year
- 00:01:50on and Israel is fighting a war both in
- 00:01:53the South with Hamas and in North with
- 00:01:55Hezbollah as well as further east with

- 00:02:41October 7th represents an intimate and
- 00:02:44brutal slaying of women and children in
- 00:02:47their own front yards and their living
- 00:02:49rooms in their beds while they were
- 00:02:52sleeping this wasn't done by tanks and
- 00:02:55bombs or even in the case of 9/11
- 00:02:57airplanes used as missiles to to attack
- 00:03:00adults who are at work it was done by
- 00:03:03hand it was done in ways completely
- 00:03:07unfathomable to even the most creative
- 00:03:09mind it was a crime of passion I sought
- 00:03:13to explore how Israelis are responding
- 00:03:16how do they cope how do they ensure that
- 00:03:18two wrongs do not make a
- 00:03:24right the current battle between Israel
- 00:03:27and Hamas and Hezbollah and Iran
- 00:03:29although it didn't start here it
- 00:03:31intensified on October 7th
- 00:03:342023 you can see over my shoulder
- 00:03:36although it might be in the distance a
- 00:03:37bit far Israel has pushed into Gaza and
- 00:03:41has been bombing it hitting with
- 00:03:42artillery executing operations looking
- 00:03:45for the remaining hostages that have not
- 00:03:47been brought back
- 00:03:49home what's most striking to me as a
- 00:03:52former Marine is we're looking at a
- 00:03:54single City we're only a few thousand
- 00:03:57yards away from it we can see the fences
- 00:03:59that divide Israel from Gaza and maybe a
- 00:04:02few hundred meters of Farmland before
- 00:04:04you hit a single city of operation and
- 00:04:07to think that it's been a year of
- 00:04:08military operations of pounding that
- 00:04:11City and chasing the Israeli hostages
- 00:04:14from one location to another and I think
- 00:04:15that they that it can't be done yet it's
- 00:04:18pretty
- 00:04:19shocking it makes it feel like it's a
- 00:04:22really
- 00:04:23small battlefield but has Epic
- 00:04:27Proportions uh and epic meaning for the
- 00:04:29rest of the world World especially given
- 00:04:31that Israel is fighting on seven fronts
- 00:04:34now it's all because of a a few square
- 00:04:38[Music]
- 00:04:44miles but we walked up on this I
- 00:04:46recognized it instantly from the from
- 00:04:49the footage I saw on Twitter on the
- 00:04:51morning of the
- 00:04:537th yeah it looks like you know it's an
- 00:04:55area where there was bar and from the
- 00:04:57footage I remember
- 00:05:00looking into the bar and just seeing
- 00:05:01piles of bodies and this is obviously
- 00:05:04the O where it is and they're building a
- 00:05:07memoral
- 00:05:08to it's shocking to be here to be
- 00:05:21honest this is an IDF bunker it's made
- 00:05:24of cement it's got some corated metal on
- 00:05:25it as well and effectively when you have
- 00:05:27indirect fires are going to be fired at
- 00:05:28your position instead of being out in
- 00:05:30the open where you can get hit by frag
- 00:05:32You' run to these positions where you'd
- 00:05:33be relatively safe on the morning of the
- 00:05:36attack here at the festival folks were
- 00:05:39running into this bunker and what
- 00:05:41happened was they were contained in a
- 00:05:43single location and then terrorists were
- 00:05:45able to throw frag grenades into these
- 00:05:47bunkers and kill multiple people at
- 00:05:50once I think there's a good amount of
- 00:05:52footage that came out from that morning
- 00:05:53that shows that horrific angle from
- 00:05:56people's cell phones and this is exactly
- 00:06:03exactly one of those
- 00:06:05sites can't hear it there a [ __ ] War
- 00:06:09about 200 me right over
- 00:06:10there it's
- 00:06:14insane we're inside one of the
- 00:06:16bunkers where people at the Nova
- 00:06:18Festival were hiding and taking cover
- 00:06:21you can see frag on the wall
- 00:06:23here where grenades had gone off and
- 00:06:26frags hitting the wall
- 00:06:30there's a memorial inside
- 00:06:56[Music]
- 00:07:03[Music]
- 00:07:15so there's nothing new that I can say
- 00:07:18about the Israeli state and its
- 00:07:19conflicts with Hezbollah or Hamas or
- 00:07:22Iran or any other number of folks
- 00:07:24adversaries that they have in this
- 00:07:25region but what is unique is the
- 00:07:28explosive grow growth in the tech
- 00:07:30industry and its support for the defense
- 00:07:33Mission uh and in particular this town
- 00:07:36we in the downtown of herzelia is kind
- 00:07:39of the epicenter for where that Tech
- 00:07:40development occurs so what is commercial
- 00:07:42technology that's useful for the defense
- 00:07:44space well sometimes people call it dual
- 00:07:47use Technologies but don't be confused
- 00:07:49that's not a defense weapon or a defense
- 00:07:51product that could be used in the
- 00:07:53commercial space when people talk about
- 00:07:55true dual use or commercial technology
- 00:07:57for the defense space we're talking
- 00:07:58about a commercial piece of technology
- 00:08:01product service whatever it might be
- 00:08:03that is then repurposed for the defense
- 00:08:05space take for example a drone that
- 00:08:08might be doing inspection of critical
- 00:08:10infrastructure in the oil and gas
- 00:08:11industry but where else could it be used
- 00:08:14in the military to do inspections of
- 00:08:15critical infrastructure or uh or
- 00:08:18inspections of enemy positions or
- 00:08:19whatever it might be that's kind of the
- 00:08:21mission set that we're going to be
- 00:08:22exploring today when we go talk to a
- 00:08:25brand new company called extend uh and
- 00:08:27its CEO of V Shapiro know this one for
- 00:08:31example 2 years a company called replay
- 00:08:35which I founded H created a technology
- 00:08:38allowing for people to
- 00:08:39actually um teleport themselves into
- 00:08:42sporting arenas and and basically see
- 00:08:44the game from different perspectives so
- 00:08:46after winning two Amy Awards one with
- 00:08:48one with the Yankees and one with NBC
- 00:08:49Monday Night Football we we were
- 00:08:51acquired by Intel roughly two $200
- 00:08:54million and uh we formed a group called
- 00:08:56into the
- 00:08:57sports uh it was called Intel Intel Tel
- 00:09:00Aviv at some point so this whole
- 00:09:02building was Intel oh really yeah so I'm
- 00:09:05in this building for many years so this
- 00:09:07is uh I would say one half of the DNA
- 00:09:09strand of the company we start extend
- 00:09:11started as a telepresence company but
- 00:09:13putting people into robots into drones
- 00:09:15that was like the idea um half of the
- 00:09:18people you see here in the hallway come
- 00:09:19from replay so we go we go back many
- 00:09:22years at some point I met this guy the
- 00:09:24head of the Israeli drone Racing League
- 00:09:26back when when drone uh drone racing was
- 00:09:29naive right for fun before they started
- 00:09:31to kill tanks we decided that uh let's
- 00:09:34create a technology that allows people
- 00:09:36to fly like this after 5 minutes that's
- 00:09:39it 5 minutes it's it's a big Challenge
- 00:09:42and we did that with a very big Paradigm
- 00:09:44Shift of how drones are controlled
- 00:09:46instead of telling them how to do things
- 00:09:48you actually tell them what to do so we
- 00:09:51open we opened the league uh we we
- 00:09:53started the letting people fly with
- 00:09:54their kids families you know that was
- 00:09:56the thing uh but then uh the summer of
- 00:09:592019 happened where Hamas started to
- 00:10:02send Kites and balloons uh with booby
- 00:10:05trapped bombs on them we basically
- 00:10:06Hammer these balloons using our using
- 00:10:09our technology anyone can do it it was
- 00:10:11actually fun the biggest uh challenge
- 00:10:14with uh um you know operating complex
- 00:10:16missions is the human skills Gap know
- 00:10:18people are not meant to actually
- 00:10:20manually control these drones and robots
- 00:10:22and the second thing is that human
- 00:10:24operators cost a lot of money so if you
- 00:10:26take a DJI drone it cost like $1,000 the
- 00:10:28human operator the you know that comes
- 00:10:31with that drone cost like a you know
- 00:10:33like a half like a $500 a day right yeah
- 00:10:36so that's uh that's that that has been
- 00:10:38our focus in the past 5 years how do you
- 00:10:40let anyone fly from anywhere in the
- 00:10:42world so we actually operate these
- 00:10:44drones uh in in all of our environments
- 00:10:47from anywhere we can we can actually be
- 00:10:49in Tel Aviv in Command Center and fly
- 00:10:51our our drones all over the
- 00:10:54place the the mode of operation that the
- 00:10:56IDF uses is one outdoor drone that
- 00:11:00basically flies High uh quite finds the
- 00:11:05relevant targets uh it has uh different
- 00:11:08types of payload capabilities so you can
- 00:11:10actually uh place you know from laser
- 00:11:13laser
- 00:11:14designators um like siging coming
- 00:11:18different types of things and and you
- 00:11:20can actually use that to uh send other
- 00:11:24drones to finish the mission these are a
- 00:11:27loitering munition drones uh um that
- 00:11:30basically work in very contested
- 00:11:33environments no GPS sometimes no coms as
- 00:11:35well so this is like the command and
- 00:11:37control and you can put a number of
- 00:11:40different sensors or payloads on it and
- 00:11:42then this is the hit to kill so you
- 00:11:45would strapping munition to this yes
- 00:11:46just to reiterate before the 7th the
- 00:11:49sale cycle in Israel would be a year a
- 00:11:51year and a half two years in some cases
- 00:11:53yeah after the 7eventh it's down to this
- 00:11:57this the fastest I've seen is like uh a
- 00:11:59week wow yeah but the major program was
- 00:12:02like three three months or so yeah okay
- 00:12:06two special and good things about this
- 00:12:08drone it can hold its position inside of
- 00:12:10a a building for example or Outdoors uh
- 00:12:13with no GPS so is no no GPS uh component
- 00:12:17at all on the Drone the whole frame is a
- 00:12:19car carbon fiber uh it's pretty strong
- 00:12:22um so it's uh cool yeah you can touch it
- 00:12:24you can yeah it will be a little a
- 00:12:28little bit on the a little bit heavier
- 00:12:30than this one because you know all the
- 00:12:31electronics are not here because again
- 00:12:33it's a marup but after that you can uh
- 00:12:36actually grab one of those the most
- 00:12:37important thing is to move my hand like
- 00:12:40from my wrist and press the trigger okay
- 00:12:43okay so uh just get a fill of it move
- 00:12:45your wrist right and left up and
- 00:12:48down okay and I want you to fill the tri
- 00:12:51you know you said it has to be intuitive
- 00:12:53earlier in in the US military we just
- 00:12:55call that marine
- 00:12:56proof okay so in order for us to to take
- 00:12:59off
- 00:12:59U short press long press here so it's
- 00:13:01going to be click and long click yeah
- 00:13:05now it's in standby now uh joystick up
- 00:13:08for 3
- 00:13:13seconds okay so drone is in the air now
- 00:13:16uh although it's very tempting don't
- 00:13:18look at the the screen let go the sugar
- 00:13:21it will be less less
- 00:13:25contr oh you can actually lift your hand
- 00:13:28good Lu see how weird it is not that guy
- 00:13:31the one sitting down this guy this guy
- 00:13:34okay so I want you to back through the
- 00:13:35door
- 00:13:38[Applause]
- 00:13:40okay maybe a button a so press the front
- 00:13:46is amazing so just keep flying and I
- 00:13:50want you to see what will happen like in
- 00:13:51a let's say in a 30 seconds or something
- 00:13:54like just flying here yeah just just
- 00:13:56keep flying
- 00:13:58[Applause]
- 00:14:00yeah okay now the drones get tucked up
- 00:14:04the into the wall so we can actually
- 00:14:06turn off drone fell to the ground which
- 00:14:08is completely fine ski in 3 2 1 now it's
- 00:14:11in skid mode now I want you to hit
- 00:14:13reverse all the way all the
- 00:14:15[Music]
- 00:14:16way trying to get away from the
- 00:14:20wall
- 00:14:22good yeah try to look look that way okay
- 00:14:26so uh move forward just a little bit
- 00:14:28towards here
- 00:14:30now stop okay you're skid mode short
- 00:14:33press on the go right
- 00:14:36[Applause]
- 00:14:38yeah okay I think I can get out of it
- 00:14:41okay so try to be a little bit more
- 00:14:42aggressive right
- 00:14:44now yeah never mind okay so almost yeah
- 00:14:48yeah this is amazing yeah it's pretty
- 00:14:50pretty doe be honest pretty fun well
- 00:14:54it's super fun yeah like
- 00:14:57[ __ ] I am imagine that this type of
- 00:15:01pinpoint accuracy is increasing the
- 00:15:03amount of accountability in combat MH in
- 00:15:06places like in places like Gaza even
- 00:15:09though i' would say globally you know
- 00:15:11there's there's an outcry of people
- 00:15:13saying there's no accountability when in
- 00:15:14fact it might in fact be the opposite
- 00:15:17would you agree with that yeah of course
- 00:15:19so not only as an extend worker but uh
- 00:15:22but basically you know as a as a
- 00:15:24lieutenant myself um Israel spends a ton
- 00:15:28of money on like um you know a very
- 00:15:30accurate weaponary so uh so this is one
- 00:15:34of them but this is super cheap compared
- 00:15:36to like very accurate guided missile
- 00:15:39sure yeah of course and and actually
- 00:15:41every Soldier and every person can
- 00:15:42actually fight you will do it yourself
- 00:15:44in a in a second yeah um yeah what does
- 00:15:47what does something like this cost a few
- 00:15:49th000 a few th000 bucks versus
- 00:15:53like1 you may be asking yourself but
- 00:15:56isn't this technology a little
- 00:15:57sophisticated for an unsophisticated
- 00:16:00enemy and the answer is no because the
- 00:16:03same basic use of commercial
- 00:16:04off-the-shelf Technologies is available
- 00:16:07on both sides of this
- 00:16:12conflict okay we were just here a couple
- 00:16:15hours ago uh doing a segment from
- 00:16:18herzelia described it as the Silicon
- 00:16:21Valley of Israel and two three hours
- 00:16:25later a uh Hezbollah drone
- 00:16:29uh that came in from the south Lebanese
- 00:16:31border where we were at and heard it
- 00:16:33come over us heard the drones come over
- 00:16:35us ended up striking a Target here in
- 00:16:38Israel and uh or in Pia we were probably
- 00:16:42I don't know maybe a football field away
- 00:16:44from where we filmed the segment
- 00:16:51earlier moments ago a
- 00:16:55UAV struck this uh build building which
- 00:16:59is a senior citizen's home in the city
- 00:17:02of herzelia we are now taking care of
- 00:17:04all the civilians here we're taking them
- 00:17:06into a safe location while we have our
- 00:17:10Specialists operating on scene to remove
- 00:17:13that
- 00:17:16[Music]
- 00:17:20UAV so what a vision the goal is to
- 00:17:23automate the entire Loop of perception
- 00:17:26decision and action we have a system
- 00:17:29that upgrades remote control weapon
- 00:17:31stations we have a system that upgrades
- 00:17:33uavs with Optical cameras that can
- 00:17:36survey the the area H we have a products
- 00:17:40that automate the entire situational
- 00:17:42awareness of our own Vehicles H we have
- 00:17:44a lot of things that we working on on
- 00:17:46Country doing both of the uavs and the
- 00:17:50country
- 00:17:51uavs the feedback loop is insane like we
- 00:17:54have much more stuff and gear that is
- 00:17:56able to touch ground and have real
- 00:17:58feedback from the field so the couple of
- 00:18:01weeks you have a feedback and you alter
- 00:18:02the thing and then a couple weeks again
- 00:18:04so it's really really insane how fast
- 00:18:06things are kind of moving out basically
- 00:18:08things are happening in days or weeks
- 00:18:11what used to take years right so uh what
- 00:18:14happened is you know there are
- 00:18:16requirements that would people would
- 00:18:17have with small startups which would
- 00:18:18take them forever to get on as an
- 00:18:20example we became a supplier of the IDF
- 00:18:23within weeks what normally would take
- 00:18:25years because it's this is done out of
- 00:18:27necessity right
- 00:18:29and Jeremy as the sales guy is it is it
- 00:18:31nerve-wracking knowing that they'll buy
- 00:18:32your [ __ ] in a week and like you need to
- 00:18:33put up numbers right away uh I wouldn't
- 00:18:36say nering I'd say it was it was pretty
- 00:18:38remarkable you know post October 7th you
- 00:18:41know it would the weeks following I'd be
- 00:18:42getting calls at like 11:00 p.m. people
- 00:18:44would be leaving the K out people would
- 00:18:45be leaving their offices in the IDF and
- 00:18:47thef and they'd be calling and saying
- 00:18:48you know this is what we're trying to do
- 00:18:50can you help us um so you know if
- 00:18:53anything I think it's exhilarating to be
- 00:18:55able to work in a company that's so
- 00:18:57prevalent and in the no of how we can be
- 00:18:59supporting the the current landscape in
- 00:19:02Israel uh to be solving problems that
- 00:19:04you know aren't just theoretical doing
- 00:19:07doing something but really on the ground
- 00:19:09tomorrow being implemented and solving
- 00:19:11real world issues that are basically in
- 00:19:13our backyard so in many ways I think the
- 00:19:15best thing I heard the analogy is that
- 00:19:17every day is October 8th so this is the
- 00:19:20day after uh and it's basically been a
- 00:19:24year of October 8th
- 00:19:37Ori basically successfully
- 00:19:39commercialized computer vision for
- 00:19:41maritime purposes for commercial ships
- 00:19:44and we are installed on more than 590
- 00:19:47commercial ships today collecting more
- 00:19:50than 2 million artical miles of data
- 00:19:51every month and it actually Powers our
- 00:19:54AI algorithms for Superior situational
- 00:19:58awareness at se uh in any visibility
- 00:20:01conditions even in restricted
- 00:20:04visibility um my biggest I would say a
- 00:20:07reason for starting this business is it
- 00:20:10because it combines both my biggest
- 00:20:12passions which are Maritime uh from my
- 00:20:15background as a child growing up nearby
- 00:20:18the sea and of course Ai and technology
- 00:20:20which is very interesting and it's quite
- 00:20:23a unique combination not many people
- 00:20:25here uh can actually um
- 00:20:29uh make both of these Technologies and
- 00:20:32domains uh create these synergies
- 00:20:34between themselves so I'm very proud and
- 00:20:36very happy to lead this organization
- 00:20:38here of software and Hardware that's
- 00:20:40currently working and checking a few
- 00:20:42things we have the real time live
- 00:20:45systems over here working uh we can see
- 00:20:47over here these are these are injected
- 00:20:50data it's not simulated data this is
- 00:20:53real data this is live right now this is
- 00:20:55not live right now but this was live
- 00:20:56this is a recording with the entire
- 00:20:59presentation has happened then we can
- 00:21:02play back this over and over again test
- 00:21:04everything before we deploy it and then
- 00:21:06we deploy to Friendly ships between 5 to
- 00:21:0910 ships just to make sure everything is
- 00:21:12is in order and then deploy it in scale
- 00:21:14and and these are the camera this is the
- 00:21:17is this a commercial off the shelf
- 00:21:18camera system yeah so the cameras inside
- 00:21:21are commercial off the shelf FL cameras
- 00:21:24Thal Imaging devices and cameras by Sony
- 00:21:27but the housing it's itself it's of our
- 00:21:29own design and requirements it should be
- 00:21:32lightweight you can carry it with one
- 00:21:34hand and climb the ladder uh it's
- 00:21:36completely sealed
- 00:21:38IP67 it is Broad field yeah what is that
- 00:21:41what is that completely sealed for ocean
- 00:21:42conditions for ocean condition it should
- 00:21:45sustain and keep on working for at least
- 00:21:485 years for har conditions or humidity
- 00:21:52and the ere sun and heat and cold
- 00:21:55vibrations and RF interfaces
- 00:21:57interference and em
- 00:21:59all that in collisions with US Naval
- 00:22:01vessels and collision
- 00:22:02with yeah you see we also have here a
- 00:22:05digital Zoom a night mode a screen
- 00:22:08recording
- 00:22:11function each the old the old ones each
- 00:22:13one covers 120° field of view and these
- 00:22:16are designed and these are new
- 00:22:18manufactured as you can see they're
- 00:22:20going to power the perception of the
- 00:22:22world's first fully commercial
- 00:22:25autonomous
- 00:22:26ship we are not the hard a company it's
- 00:22:29very imperative to understand uh and we
- 00:22:32want to push and be you know a leading
- 00:22:35AI software services company as opposed
- 00:22:38to Hardware the hardware is the enabler
- 00:22:41okay it's not the focus of the company
- 00:22:44and and Hardware today is is easier to
- 00:22:47get than ever before and I think this is
- 00:22:49something we want to keep and make sure
- 00:22:52in the United States I feel like defense
- 00:22:53investing has been from a macro
- 00:22:56perspective on the rise and D and
- 00:22:58Horowitz seoa Founders fund other funds
- 00:23:01um have been interested in pouring money
- 00:23:03into this space um is it the same here
- 00:23:06in Israel since October 7th well that's
- 00:23:09a great question basically since October
- 00:23:127th occurred I
- 00:23:14guess there are maybe 10 to 20 new
- 00:23:19emerging um VCS trying to to peot into
- 00:23:24the field or even if that it's older VCS
- 00:23:27that were more agnostic or um oh or did
- 00:23:32like main uh other stuff so defense is
- 00:23:36their thing right now everybody's trying
- 00:23:37to do the is this even like do you see
- 00:23:39like American VCS showing up in herzelia
- 00:23:41Tel Aviv we have we have a seoa that
- 00:23:44just moved here I don't know if you saw
- 00:23:45the announcement but basically that's
- 00:23:47that's their Focus right now they're
- 00:23:48going to do Israeli defense Tech they're
- 00:23:50one of the partners just moved here they
- 00:23:52announced it publicly that this is their
- 00:23:54domain this is what they want to focus
- 00:23:56on so in the United States you know like
- 00:23:57the sales cycle even post 9/11 the sales
- 00:24:01cycle to get a company you know to
- 00:24:05engage with the government to go through
- 00:24:07the proposal process for it to be
- 00:24:09selected for them to deploy to have it
- 00:24:11you know manage I mean it's multi-year
- 00:24:14process is it the same here in Israel or
- 00:24:16is it different so it used to be I could
- 00:24:18tell you that now post October 7th the
- 00:24:20rules are different I have a a CEO that
- 00:24:23I'm very close to that would tell you
- 00:24:25that the procurement process has changed
- 00:24:28from being a year and a half to 3 weeks
- 00:24:30wow of huge budgets of government
- 00:24:33deployed into the defense industry
- 00:24:34obviously I mean the needs are very time
- 00:24:37sensitive um people are getting out of
- 00:24:40the field they know exactly what's
- 00:24:42missing they know exactly what they need
- 00:24:44they know what they're looking for and
- 00:24:46the industry here moves very very fast
- 00:24:48in order to supply what's needed one
- 00:24:50question that I've I have had and I have
- 00:24:52answered myself over the years of being
- 00:24:54an investor I'm curious to know how you
- 00:24:56approach it is you know when I think
- 00:24:57about the
- 00:24:58base and I think about defense companies
- 00:25:02there's only so many customers I mean
- 00:25:04here in Israel right it's the IDF
- 00:25:06generally you go to the United States
- 00:25:08maybe you can sell to the states US Army
- 00:25:10US Marine Corps Etc but even beyond that
- 00:25:14there's you know defense budgets
- 00:25:15globally aren't that attractive and when
- 00:25:18you start to go to countries like China
- 00:25:20or Iran I mean you simply cannot sell to
- 00:25:22them you know right they're so it's
- 00:25:23almost like of the total invest or of
- 00:25:25the total number of customers out there
- 00:25:27let's say half of them you can't even
- 00:25:29sell to true so um when I think about
- 00:25:32the total addressable Market you know I
- 00:25:34always thought it was good it was good
- 00:25:35or smart to invest in commercial Tech
- 00:25:37that just happen to have a use case for
- 00:25:39the defense
- 00:25:40base do you know do you think a portion
- 00:25:42of your portfolio is going to be focused
- 00:25:44on Commercial Tech that has a use case
- 00:25:46for the IDF or will it all be
- 00:25:49exclusively defense technology
- 00:25:51definitely cross software Technologies
- 00:25:53or dual use in their professional names
- 00:25:55are attractive and would be relevant I
- 00:25:57can tell you there are a lot of that
- 00:25:58came from the civilian side and again
- 00:26:01post October 7th reality has changed and
- 00:26:04they became completely defense
- 00:26:06orientated so it's a company that
- 00:26:07already der risked a lot because they're
- 00:26:10already selling in the commercial Market
- 00:26:12making uh a stable uh stable Revenue
- 00:26:16pipeline but they're now going into
- 00:26:18defense and it's so but it's Diversified
- 00:26:21before you get exactly and other way
- 00:26:23around as well by the way defense
- 00:26:24companies that have civilian
- 00:26:26applications that's also an option so
- 00:26:28we're looking on those as well you have
- 00:26:29the Cyber which is for us it's a bit of
- 00:26:31a red ocean I want to say um we're not
- 00:26:35going to do offensive by the way we're
- 00:26:36not going to do lethal Technologies as
- 00:26:38well offensive no we are going to do you
- 00:26:40know everything that has to do with air
- 00:26:42defense unmanned AI deep tag can we we
- 00:26:46don't have to have this part on camera
- 00:26:47but I'm but I'm going to ask and we'll
- 00:26:49see what you want to keep on um I think
- 00:26:51the world was super how do I put this
- 00:26:54actually I won't speak for the world but
- 00:26:57I'll tell you in the defense American
- 00:26:59defense base everybody was super
- 00:27:01impressed with the Apollo gold stuff
- 00:27:03that went
- 00:27:04on and it really talks it really speaks
- 00:27:07to like long-term planning supply chain
- 00:27:11knowing your audience or knowing your
- 00:27:13target really
- 00:27:15well
- 00:27:17um is there going to be more of that you
- 00:27:19think in the future of War as we engage
- 00:27:22with commercial
- 00:27:23companies we're just getting
- 00:27:26started you can get that on yeah yeah
- 00:27:28that [ __ ] you can get
- 00:27:32that I've been to multiple War zones in
- 00:27:35my professional career and I have never
- 00:27:37seen the level of personal and intimate
- 00:27:39destruction of humanity particularly
- 00:27:42sexual crimes against women and the
- 00:27:43torture and killing of children
- 00:27:45perpetrated by Hamas on the morning of
- 00:27:47October 7th how patient will Israelis be
- 00:27:51at this Crossroads where's the line
- 00:27:53between patriotism for the Jewish State
- 00:27:55while upholding the tenants of peace and
- 00:27:57accept preached in all major faiths in
- 00:28:01this world when will The Killing be over
