00:00:00
howdy everyone Welcome back to another
00:00:02
video And before we begin you guys did
00:00:04
it again Y'all doubled my subscribers
00:00:07
from my last video You guys are insane
00:00:10
Reminder I have a new Discord server
00:00:12
that will be in the description of all
00:00:13
of my videos So please feel free to join
00:00:15
up and be a part of my growing community
00:00:18
Lastly I do a poll after each video in
00:00:20
my community post so you guys can decide
00:00:21
what I do for upcoming videos The winner
00:00:24
for this poll was how to properly manage
00:00:26
stamina and loop effectively So without
00:00:28
further ado enjoy the video Managing
00:00:32
stamina is the universal mechanic you
00:00:34
need to have any chance of running away
00:00:36
or catching up as both survivor and
00:00:37
killer To make it simple every survivor
00:00:40
has 100 stamina and every killer has 110
00:00:43
Every 10 stamina equals 1 second of
00:00:45
sprint So because survivors have 100
00:00:48
stamina they can sprint for 10 seconds
00:00:49
before getting tired You also regenerate
00:00:52
20 stamina per second whenever you're
00:00:53
not sprinting which is where managing
00:00:55
your stamina properly comes in Before I
00:00:57
begin about how to properly manage it
00:00:59
though I'd like to mention at the time
00:01:00
of recording this they've released a
00:01:02
patch that makes it so killers drain
00:01:03
stamina slightly less and gain stamina
00:01:05
slightly more They said this should make
00:01:07
it significantly easier for killers to
00:01:08
catch up to survivors that properly
00:01:10
manage your stamina which kind of helps
00:01:13
I won't really get into it since I don't
00:01:14
fully understand how much it changes
00:01:16
everything So first I want to talk about
00:01:17
why in the survivors case it's honestly
00:01:19
not so hard to outrun killers even
00:01:21
despite these changes When managing
00:01:23
stamina there's a few things you have to
00:01:24
keep in mind that will prevent your
00:01:25
instant death how much stamina you have
00:01:28
how much the killer has and how much
00:01:30
distance you have between you and the
00:01:31
killer When you're running from the
00:01:33
killer your objective is to always keep
00:01:35
more stamina than them while also
00:01:36
keeping enough distance from them In a
00:01:38
lot of cases it's easier said than done
00:01:41
However on some maps and some characters
00:01:43
you can easily manage your stamina
00:01:44
enough to outrun the killer indefinitely
00:01:46
so long as you play your cards right Now
00:01:48
this probably sounds super complicated
00:01:50
and you might not even know where to
00:01:51
start So think about it like this The
00:01:54
killer is decently far from you and
00:01:55
they've been sprinting at you for 3
00:01:57
seconds Now that you know every second
00:01:58
of sprint is 10 stamina you can assume
00:02:00
they only have about 80 stamina You only
00:02:03
start sprinting once you know you have
00:02:04
more stamina than them Otherwise they'll
00:02:06
be able to catch up for free and get
00:02:08
free damage on you over and over and
00:02:11
over until you're dead Try focusing on
00:02:13
having significantly more stamina than
00:02:16
them because then you'll be able to use
00:02:17
that extra stamina to get even further
00:02:20
For example if they're just about to
00:02:21
catch up but only have 40 stamina left
00:02:23
and you barely sprinted at all so you
00:02:25
still have 90 stamina then you can use
00:02:28
that extra 50 stamina you have to create
00:02:29
even more distance and leave them in the
00:02:31
dust There's a couple of principles
00:02:33
while running that you should keep in
00:02:34
mind You should almost always stop
00:02:36
sprinting when the killer stops
00:02:37
sprinting This is so you can keep the
00:02:39
stamina lead since you're both
00:02:40
regenerating stamina at the same time
00:02:42
The only time where you don't need to
00:02:44
stop is when you're trying to make just
00:02:46
slightly more distance so they don't
00:02:47
catch up But keep in mind it's risky to
00:02:50
keep sprinting Never run out of stamina
00:02:53
When you run out of stamina you're
00:02:54
unable to regenerate stamina for two
00:02:56
full seconds This more often than not
00:02:59
will get you killed You shouldn't be too
00:03:01
afraid of getting hit to regenerate some
00:03:02
extra stamina for distance This of
00:03:04
course varies on the situation the
00:03:06
survivor you're playing and the killer
00:03:08
you're going against but taking the hit
00:03:09
will both give you a speed boost and let
00:03:11
you regenerate some extra stamina so you
00:03:14
never know Some of you might be
00:03:16
wondering well which survivors gain an
00:03:18
advantage stamina management wise almost
00:03:20
all of them except for like 07 and Ducar
00:03:24
cuz they don't really have anything for
00:03:25
self-sustaining chase So before anyone
00:03:28
goes in my comments defending 07 again
00:03:30
let me explain what I mean by
00:03:31
self-sustain I'm talking about something
00:03:33
like a stun or a speed boost or
00:03:36
something to negate damage Even
00:03:38
something simple like slowing down the
00:03:39
killer 07 clones can't let him recover
00:03:42
stamina for free like the other
00:03:43
characters can Only situation where he
00:03:45
can is if they fall for the clone But
00:03:47
let me cover what I mean by recovering
00:03:49
stamina for free I think the easiest to
00:03:51
cover is Shitzky By far the most popular
00:03:53
sentinel in the game Shitki might be the
00:03:56
best survivor in the game when it comes
00:03:57
to looping the killer for as long as
00:03:59
possible His sword is the equivalent of
00:04:01
a get out of jail free card If you've
00:04:03
run the killer for a while they finally
00:04:05
caught up to you and you're about to
00:04:06
meet your end you just stun them
00:04:09
regenerate stamina make some distance
00:04:11
during the stun and repeat I'm not even
00:04:13
over exaggerating how easy it is to make
00:04:15
distance after stunning the killer This
00:04:17
applies to all three sentinels Stun
00:04:20
regenerate run repeat It's a game of
00:04:22
waiting for the survivor to make a
00:04:23
mistake and die for it With that said
00:04:26
let's move on to the killer and how to
00:04:27
properly catch up to survivors Of course
00:04:30
catching up with survivors in general
00:04:32
varies on the killer One X would use his
00:04:34
projectiles to do damage from a range
00:04:35
and close the distance while Jason would
00:04:37
just turn the brain off and walk towards
00:04:39
you aggressively Still just like
00:04:41
survivors there's a few rules to go by
00:04:43
while catching up Try gaining the
00:04:45
stamina lead If you're sprinting to
00:04:47
catch up and they're not sprinting until
00:04:49
you're up close stop sprinting when they
00:04:51
start sprinting and try regenerating
00:04:53
more stamina than them so you can just
00:04:55
instantly catch up If they stop
00:04:57
sprinting as you do though don't panic
00:04:58
and keep sprinting Regenerate until
00:05:00
you're max stamina and then catch up as
00:05:02
much as you can When you land a hit
00:05:05
immediately stop sprinting get some
00:05:06
stamina back and then run After you land
00:05:09
a hit the survivor gets a speed boost
00:05:11
And normally it's not worth burning
00:05:12
through stamina to try and catch up to
00:05:14
them when they're much faster than you
00:05:16
The only times this rule doesn't really
00:05:17
apply is if you're trying to avoid a
00:05:19
stun such as if you hit guest block The
00:05:22
only other time this rule doesn't really
00:05:23
apply is if you're directly on top of
00:05:25
the survivor and despite the extra speed
00:05:27
you can still catch up Same thing as
00:05:29
survivor don't run out of stamina Just
00:05:31
like survivor you get a penalty for
00:05:33
running out and it costs a lot of
00:05:35
distance I also recommend not sprinting
00:05:38
when you're slowed since you're wasting
00:05:40
some distance you would get by using
00:05:41
stamina during low speed The only other
00:05:44
thing I can think about that's important
00:05:45
for killers if you've managed to corner
00:05:47
a survivor play around keeping them in
00:05:49
the corner and regenerate your stamina
00:05:51
entirely This will force them to either
00:05:53
run past you and give you a free hit or
00:05:55
give you the stamina lead at the cost of
00:05:57
playing safe Kind of a short section for
00:05:59
killer but I really can't think of
00:06:01
anything that killers can do
00:06:02
specifically in a chase to gain the
00:06:04
advantage stamina wise It's really just
00:06:06
determined by their abilities That being
00:06:08
said let's move on to looping Looping is
00:06:10
insanely easy People just over
00:06:12
complicate it The easiest way to loop is
00:06:14
by abusing checkpots Check spots are
00:06:17
certain parts of maps or corners that
00:06:18
allow you to see the killer coming from
00:06:20
a long distance and act accordingly For
00:06:22
example on Brandon Works you can camp
00:06:24
this corner of the castle and whichever
00:06:26
side they come on you just go to the
00:06:27
other and repeat Another good example is
00:06:30
on Ultimate Assassin's Ground where you
00:06:31
can sit on this corner of the tunnel and
00:06:33
wow it's an amazing spot to loop If the
00:06:36
killer manages to catch up and you can
00:06:38
no longer loop there's a few things you
00:06:39
have to rely on If you're playing a
00:06:41
sentinel you can stun them and regain
00:06:43
your stamina and distance to continue
00:06:44
the loop If you're anything else though
00:06:46
you're most likely out of options and
00:06:48
have to resort to desperate measures At
00:06:50
this point you should play around juking
00:06:52
the killer which sounds stupid but
00:06:53
unless the killer is actually insane you
00:06:55
can fairly easily manipulate where they
00:06:57
hit you While juking you should play by
00:07:00
these rules Make sure you have at least
00:07:02
20 or more stamina so you have a decent
00:07:03
amount to speed up with When the killer
00:07:05
whips stop sprinting momentarily to gain
00:07:07
that stamina back You have to play
00:07:09
around when you think they're going to
00:07:10
start sprinting for the hit and sprint
00:07:12
yourself If you try reacting to when
00:07:14
they sprint normally they can just smack
00:07:16
you before you gain enough speed to run
00:07:18
and running is very important to juke
00:07:19
often Lastly I'd say the easiest way to
00:07:22
juke is by trying to make them swing
00:07:24
early A bad habit a lot of killers have
00:07:26
is trying to hit with the very edge of
00:07:28
the slash which usually makes them whiff
00:07:30
even if you move a tiny bit Also when
00:07:33
juking you should absolutely have shift
00:07:36
lock off You want to be able to mix up
00:07:38
your movement entirely and not make it
00:07:39
obvious where you're going Turning off
00:07:41
shift lock allows you to be
00:07:42
unpredictable and sway quickly With all
00:07:45
that said and done how do you counter
00:07:46
loops with Killer for Killer it's not
00:07:49
really possible to counter looping
00:07:50
without your abilities Jon can use his
00:07:52
traps or walls to corner survivors or
00:07:54
force them into a different area 1x4 can
00:07:56
use his projectile to cut you off or
00:07:58
kill his minions for a speed boost Cool
00:08:00
kid can sometimes use his minions to
00:08:02
force you away from an area And Jason
00:08:06
uh he walks at you aggressively I I
00:08:09
guess he However juking is another story
00:08:13
Juking is sometimes hard to catch
00:08:14
depending on where they sway since the
00:08:16
hit boxers are so tiny But if
00:08:18
you slow your swings down and play
00:08:20
around them constantly draining stamina
00:08:21
to bob and weave you can eventually
00:08:23
secure free hits Although if you're
00:08:25
impatient at least delay your swings a
00:08:27
tiny bit to put them on and off timing
00:08:29
so they try to juke early I think that
00:08:31
about covers everything for managing
00:08:33
stamina and looping When it comes to
00:08:35
playing with shift lock or not it's
00:08:36
purely preference On killer I use shift
00:08:38
lock but on survivor I don't It's really
00:08:41
just what you're more comfortable with
00:08:43
That being said though avoid walking
00:08:45
backwards with shift lock because it'll
00:08:47
slow you down drastically Thank you so
00:08:49
much for watching I hope you enjoyed the
