TLDRThis discussion involves Crystal and Greg, who convey the need for a new approach to education that can address future challenges related to Asian consumption, technological advancements, and mental well-being. They highlight the inadequacy of current educational systems that prioritize grades, which do not correlate with real-world success, as they emphasize conformity over adaptability. Their initiative, "Roots and Wings," incorporates mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and psychotherapy to overcome anxiety and depression while promoting personal growth. They also stress the importance of involving all stakeholders, including government and industry, to create a cohesive system that prepares students comprehensively. Practical exercises such as identifying limiting beliefs are used to foster awareness and a change in mindset. Central to their argument is the significance of "deep human" connection, surpassing mere technical proficiency.

Garis waktu

  • 00:00:00 - 00:05:00

Crystal and Greg feel privileged to share their views on wisdom, focusing on the future of the planet and collective consciousness. They highlight a global issue: Asia's rising living standards and consumption, which threaten resources like fish. Governments demand growth without increasing consumption, creating an unsustainable dilemma. Educating the youth on consciousness and energy usage is vital, alongside developing technology that solves rather than exacerbates problems.

  • 00:05:00 - 00:10:00

The challenge of preparing youth for unknown future jobs led them to create the 'Roots and Wings' program at the National University of Singapore. Despite high academic scores, students lacked real-world readiness. The program emphasizes mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and growth mindset, using tools from psychotherapy and neuroscience to prevent mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Significant student interest, initially underestimated, validated their approach.

  • 00:10:00 - 00:15:00

To achieve systemic change, the effort must include all educational stakeholders: students, educators, and government. Their approach, rooted in making education relevant to future workforce needs, gained significant support. Industry and educators accepted this way to prepare students for dynamic environments, prompting them to establish a change agency called Forest Wolf. Their holistic educational methodology encompasses not just skills but also mindsets and core beliefs.

  • 00:15:00 - 00:20:05

They stress the importance of addressing limiting beliefs, citing personal examples, and encourage audience participation in identifying their own. This exercise demonstrates shared human challenges and fosters connection. They conclude by emphasizing understanding and shared human experiences against the backdrop of mental wellness and education, advocating for a community approach to overcome these constraints, further solidifying human connection in the technological era.

  • 00:00:05
    hi there beautiful people
  • 00:00:07
I'm crystal and excited doesn't even
  • 00:00:09
begin to describe how I feel yeah my
  • 00:00:13
name is Greg and it's just an awesome
  • 00:00:15
privilege to stand here and in front of
  • 00:00:18
you and share some of our own experience
  • 00:00:20
it's really exciting so what we love
  • 00:00:23
about wisdom is that it's this amazing
  • 00:00:25
field about two of our favorite topics
  • 00:00:28
the first one is the future of this
  • 00:00:30
planet and the second one is about our
  • 00:00:33
    collective consciousness and this year
  • 00:00:35
is extra special because we flew for
  • 00:00:37
over 20 hours on the airplane to share
  • 00:00:41
with you our views on brave new
  • 00:00:43
education but before we start I want to
  • 00:00:46
show you a little picture so here is the
  • 00:00:51
map of the world and if you look at this
  • 00:00:53
circle that's highlighted more than half
  • 00:00:56
of the people on this planet live in
  • 00:00:58
that small circle that is Asia and
  • 00:01:01
despite the fact that more of the circle
  • 00:01:04
is see than it is land we are huge and
  • 00:01:07
we are just getting bigger which means
  • 00:01:09
two big global trends that are colliding
  • 00:01:13
the first one is that Asians are we are
  • 00:01:17
having living standards improve at a
  • 00:01:19
rate that's never been seen before and
  • 00:01:21
that's a good thing but the second thing
  • 00:01:24
is that Asians consume consumption is
  • 00:01:28
also rising at a rate that we've never
  • 00:01:30
seen before and that's really bad put it
  • 00:01:33
this way if every person in China wants
  • 00:01:37
to eat fish just once or twice a week
  • 00:01:40
the oceans will run dry our consumption
  • 00:01:44
levels in Asia are one twentieth of that
  • 00:01:47
of the US but we all want the American
  • 00:01:50
dream and who's to tell Asia that we
  • 00:01:53
can't have it on one hand the
  • 00:01:55
government's are saying as please grow
  • 00:01:56
grow grow grow because our growth
  • 00:01:58
depends on you but on the other hand
  • 00:02:01
they say don't consume please don't
  • 00:02:03
consume the earth cannot take it and
  • 00:02:05
this sets us up for a bit of a problem
  • 00:02:07
and we believe very strongly that the
  • 00:02:10
solution to this problem lies with
  • 00:02:12
    energy
  • 00:02:13
we need to educate our youth but we also
  • 00:02:16
need to get educate us about how to
  • 00:02:18
raise our awareness how to raise
  • 00:02:20
collective consciousness so that we then
  • 00:02:23
    have a different relationship with
  • 00:02:25
ourselves and how we consume but also
  • 00:02:27
how we relate to each other and how we
  • 00:02:29
relate to this planet and also it
  • 00:02:32
relates to how we engage technology
  • 00:02:34
technology is hopefully going to help us
  • 00:02:36
solve some of these problems but the
  • 00:02:39
level of consciousness of the people who
  • 00:02:41
develop these apps and technologies will
  • 00:02:44
define whether they are just going to
  • 00:02:45
mine our attention for money or whether
  • 00:02:47
they're going to be creative in solving
  • 00:02:49
these problems that are really exploding
  • 00:02:51
all around us so I want to zoom in on
  • 00:02:54
this little red dot here is Singapore
  • 00:02:56
that's where I'm from Singapore is very
  • 00:02:59
small we're just five million people but
  • 00:03:02
we're the third largest stock exchange
  • 00:03:04
in the whole world we are a hub of East
  • 00:03:06
and West English is my first language
  • 00:03:08
believe it or not so even though I look
  • 00:03:11
like this this is my native language and
  • 00:03:13
this is Gregg second language he's from
  • 00:03:15
Germany okay so if there are any
  • 00:03:18
mistakes that he makes he's gonna blame
  • 00:03:19
it on that but we'll get to that in a
  • 00:03:22
    minute
  • 00:03:22
so is zooming in further on Singapore we
  • 00:03:26
come from this University called the
  • 00:03:28
    National University of Singapore and
  • 00:03:30
that is responsible for over half of our
  • 00:03:35
    university students imagine that that's
  • 00:03:38
a big responsibility right so three
  • 00:03:40
years ago the university came to me and
  • 00:03:42
said they were setting up something
  • 00:03:43
called the centre for future ready
  • 00:03:46
graduates and you would think that
  • 00:03:48
because Singapore has the highest Pisa
  • 00:03:50
scores in the in the world that is the
  • 00:03:52
highest global scores for English for a
  • 00:03:54
reading for writing formats you would
  • 00:03:58
think that we have this education thing
  • 00:03:59
sorted but actually the truth of it is
  • 00:04:02
that we were getting deeply worried we
  • 00:04:04
    were getting worried because students
  • 00:04:05
were telling us we're not prepared for
  • 00:04:07
the world and we were getting worried
  • 00:04:09
because the employers were telling us
  • 00:04:11
hey your students have the best scores
  • 00:04:13
the best grades but they can't think
  • 00:04:16
they kind of react in the real world
  • 00:04:18
they can respond and what we found is
  • 00:04:21
    this all the research suggests
  • 00:04:25
that grades are not correlated with
  • 00:04:28
success what our grades correlated to
  • 00:04:31
    grades are correlated with discipline
  • 00:04:36
conformity compliance in a world in the
  • 00:04:41
future of robots and automation who's
  • 00:04:44
gonna be better at compliance is it
  • 00:04:47
going to be a human or robot so this is
  • 00:04:50
when we realized that we have been
  • 00:04:51
training our youth to be obsolete that's
  • 00:04:56
a scary thought so that's when we
  • 00:04:58
    started approaching this brave new
  • 00:05:01
    challenge number one
  • 00:05:02
what does Futurity mean if we don't know
  • 00:05:06
what the jobs of the future are if we
  • 00:05:08
don't know what the future holds for us
  • 00:05:10
how do we prepare our youth for the
  • 00:05:12
future so we started to speak to our
  • 00:05:14
youth to ask them hey what what do you
  • 00:05:17
think you might need to get ready for
  • 00:05:19
the world of work and what we soon
  • 00:05:21
realized that was actually way beyond
  • 00:05:23
job anxiety there was a whole array of
  • 00:05:26
much bigger problems that if there
  • 00:05:28
weren't addressed would really get in
  • 00:05:30
the way of them being ready for the
  • 00:05:32
future first of all you all very
  • 00:05:34
familiar with this is being so
  • 00:05:36
distracted finding it really hard to be
  • 00:05:38
in the present moment and also the
  • 00:05:40
technology that can be really useful
  • 00:05:42
sometimes getting in the way and pulling
  • 00:05:44
our attention away and then there's been
  • 00:05:47
a kind of paradoxical trend happening on
  • 00:05:50
the one hand we have so many connections
  • 00:05:53
    through LinkedIn and Facebook whatever
  • 00:05:55
app you using yeah I might ask a student
  • 00:05:57
is here five five six hundred friends
  • 00:05:59
but then sometimes they come to me after
  • 00:06:02
a lecture and they say wow I've so many
  • 00:06:05
friends on Facebook but I'm struggling
  • 00:06:07
with my schoolwork and I don't actually
  • 00:06:09
have anybody that I can turn to
  • 00:06:11
face-to-face to share these concerns and
  • 00:06:13
that leads to an epidemic of loneliness
  • 00:06:16
and isolation amongst our students and
  • 00:06:19
perhaps among some of us as well and
  • 00:06:21
    then there's another even more
  • 00:06:23
concerning trend I'm a clinician and
  • 00:06:25
psychologist as well and I've been
  • 00:06:28
hearing from my clients and some
  • 00:06:29
students that there's an epidemic of
  • 00:06:32
    stress and anxiety happening worrying
  • 00:06:34
    about not just aches
  • 00:06:35
and how relationships are what the
  • 00:06:37
future hold but also a sense of
  • 00:06:40
    helplessness and hopelessness that if
  • 00:06:42
not kept in check can even turn into a
  • 00:06:45
    depression perhaps we're seeing trends
  • 00:06:47
of over 30% increase in utilization of
  • 00:06:50
    mental health services on campuses
  • 00:06:53
around Singapore in the world which is
  • 00:06:55
really really concerning for us so we
  • 00:06:57
knew that the solution was gonna be
  • 00:06:59
deeper it needed to be deeper than a
  • 00:07:02
career preparation program we so what we
  • 00:07:05
did was that we pulled together the best
  • 00:07:07
of the tools the techniques that we knew
  • 00:07:09
to cope with all of this stuff and our
  • 00:07:12
answer was a program called roots and
  • 00:07:14
wings so roots and wings root stands for
  • 00:07:18
    Who am I
  • 00:07:19
what am I about and wings is the
  • 00:07:21
question of like what am I here to
  • 00:07:23
contribute what do I want to serve the
  • 00:07:26
world with and it's based on mindfulness
  • 00:07:29
and awareness because that's always the
  • 00:07:31
beginning and then we layer on the
  • 00:07:34
    emotional intelligence the growth
  • 00:07:36
mindsets the various beliefs that are
  • 00:07:38
helpful for them and then we've also
  • 00:07:40
    included techniques from psychotherapy
  • 00:07:43
    neuroscience that can really prevent
  • 00:07:46
these issues of anxiety and depression
  • 00:07:48
take hold of a person's mind so we very
  • 00:07:51
much believe preventing a problem from
  • 00:07:52
rising is much better than trying to fix
  • 00:07:54
it at a later stage you know we never
  • 00:07:57
expected roots and wings to be so big
  • 00:08:00
when I first enlisted Greg on this
  • 00:08:03
journey I went down to the psych
  • 00:08:04
department he says a little academic in
  • 00:08:06
this little rabbit hole room and he was
  • 00:08:08
there working on his stuff and reading
  • 00:08:10
it I don't know what he was reading
  • 00:08:11
anyway so I said to him you know roots
  • 00:08:14
and wings are you gonna join me on this
  • 00:08:16
journey and he was so excited he perked
  • 00:08:18
up and he said you know what I think
  • 00:08:20
you're onto something if we tried really
  • 00:08:22
hard maybe we could get 300 students and
  • 00:08:29
I was like you got 7,000 buddy and you
  • 00:08:33
start next week so I still haven't
  • 00:08:36
    recovered so he's been completely
  • 00:08:38
traumatized I mean I ended up marrying
  • 00:08:41
the guy just to get him over this whole
  • 00:08:43
    thing okay
  • 00:08:44
    [Applause]
  • 00:08:46
yeah because that's the kind of boss I
  • 00:08:48
am so anyway enough about us now let's
  • 00:08:58
talk about the next challenge as we were
  • 00:09:01
doing routes anyways we ran into
  • 00:09:03
challenge number two a student came up
  • 00:09:05
to me one day and he said you know I
  • 00:09:07
love what you're doing but I don't think
  • 00:09:09
it's gonna work and I said why he said
  • 00:09:12
you know that empathy thing that you
  • 00:09:14
taught me that was so depressing it was
  • 00:09:16
wide and he said well because the thing
  • 00:09:20
is that I realized the scales fell off
  • 00:09:23
my eyes when I learned all this stuff
  • 00:09:25
and I realized that it's one thing for
  • 00:09:27
me to change but what's the point if my
  • 00:09:30
    lecturers my professors if everybody
  • 00:09:32
else doesn't understand what I'm talking
  • 00:09:34
    about
  • 00:09:35
like there's no point and I heard
  • 00:09:37
stories from my medical students that
  • 00:09:39
said yeah you know that perspective
  • 00:09:41
shift beginners my thing that you taught
  • 00:09:43
me well we tried that in a hospital to
  • 00:09:45
ended up with a book thrown at my head
  • 00:09:46
so you know that's when we realized it's
  • 00:09:49
a whole ecosystem effort the students
  • 00:09:52
cannot be at 3.0 and the management be
  • 00:09:57
at 2.0 and the faculty be at 1.0
  • 00:09:59
resisting we have to involve the whole
  • 00:10:02
ecosystem and that's when we started
  • 00:10:04
    broadening out the conversation talking
  • 00:10:07
to government talking to students using
  • 00:10:09
different language for instance when we
  • 00:10:11
spoke to government we said hey this is
  • 00:10:13
    about workforce relevance it's about
  • 00:10:15
    disruption proofing Singapore and you
  • 00:10:17
like great take 10 million dollars so so
  • 00:10:21
we're we spoke to educators we talked
  • 00:10:24
about hey what's the relevance of
  • 00:10:25
University if it's not this this is
  • 00:10:27
innovation when we talk to industry
  • 00:10:29
employers we said this is about prepping
  • 00:10:31
your talent pipeline so you won't be so
  • 00:10:34
    frustrated when the Millennials get
  • 00:10:36
there but most importantly we spoke to
  • 00:10:38
students and we said this is for you
  • 00:10:41
this is about meaning and joy in your
  • 00:10:45
life and they loved it so we started
  • 00:10:48
broadening out and working with all
  • 00:10:50
these stakeholders and that's when we
  • 00:10:52
realized that this is what we love so
  • 00:10:54
that's when we left the university and
  • 00:10:56
we started forest wolf which is a mind
  • 00:10:58
that agent change agency that works with
  • 00:11:00
all of these stakeholders to speak their
  • 00:11:03
language we ran into another challenge
  • 00:11:06
we realized yes we have to work broad
  • 00:11:08
with all these systems but we also found
  • 00:11:10
out very quickly that we also had to go
  • 00:11:13
deep with our students and that we had
  • 00:11:17
to go beyond skills so we like to use
  • 00:11:19
this iceberg metaphor so the top layer
  • 00:11:22
is really the skills that we're teaching
  • 00:11:23
but unfortunately and you may know that
  • 00:11:26
as well as often skills don't translate
  • 00:11:28
into habits they don't get integrated
  • 00:11:31
into our day-to-day life and we were
  • 00:11:33
curious to overcome that and also
  • 00:11:35
understand why that is so and we believe
  • 00:11:38
the reason for that is because
  • 00:11:39
    underneath the surface underneath skills
  • 00:11:41
there are two broader domains that need
  • 00:11:44
to be addressed as well the first one is
  • 00:11:45
the mind says these are the attitudes
  • 00:11:48
that you bring to learning these skills
  • 00:11:50
and if you're particularly critical or
  • 00:11:53
judgmental or if you have you don't have
  • 00:11:55
a growth mindset you saying oh maybe I
  • 00:11:57
will never be able to get there this is
  • 00:12:00
    gonna undermined you learning these
  • 00:12:01
skills and integrating them and then at
  • 00:12:04
one level deeper even there is what we
  • 00:12:07
call a sense of identity or maybe core
  • 00:12:10
beliefs and a lot of us have core
  • 00:12:12
beliefs that also can be less favorable
  • 00:12:15
or unhelpful even perhaps if you're
  • 00:12:17
inclined to think of yourself as not
  • 00:12:20
worthy or not good enough this will also
  • 00:12:22
sabotage these skills that seem useful
  • 00:12:25
and helpful from forming lifelong habits
  • 00:12:28
that really transform your life yeah
  • 00:12:30
absolutely so it boggles my mind that we
  • 00:12:33
hear so much about Futurity skills
  • 00:12:35
    skills skills nobody talks about
  • 00:12:37
    Futurity mindsets Futurity identity
  • 00:12:40
because it doesn't matter the best
  • 00:12:42
skills in the world but if you think I'm
  • 00:12:44
not worthy I'm not lovable this is not
  • 00:12:48
me I can't change nothing is gonna
  • 00:12:51
change in your life so here's what we
  • 00:12:54
think that brave new education needs
  • 00:12:57
more often the first one of course be
  • 00:12:59
spoken about it already is cultivating a
  • 00:13:01
    sense of mindfulness cultivating that
  • 00:13:03
    focus but also that greater
  • 00:13:05
self-awareness secondly we need to be
  • 00:13:08
    able to speak
  • 00:13:09
and address our mind and how it can be
  • 00:13:12
more resilient healthier and also be
  • 00:13:14
able to speak about depression anxiety
  • 00:13:16
and failures and be able to distinguish
  • 00:13:18
those yeah I really believe in this
  • 00:13:20
    stigma night D stigmatizing mental
  • 00:13:22
well-being sometimes I talk about going
  • 00:13:25
to therapy or coming to see a counselor
  • 00:13:27
people look as if it's like oh my god
  • 00:13:29
you've got cancer what did you just say
  • 00:13:31
you went to therapy but you know we need
  • 00:13:33
to de stigmatize this conversation it's
  • 00:13:36
just like going to the gym the third
  • 00:13:39
thing I think we need more of is
  • 00:13:41
connecting to meaning and this is about
  • 00:13:45
what matters this is about your
  • 00:13:47
intrinsic motivation why are you here
  • 00:13:49
what are you doing this for it's about
  • 00:13:52
    deepening into conversation from hey
  • 00:13:54
buddy what do you want to do to who do
  • 00:13:57
you want to be or who do you want to
  • 00:13:59
become and lastly it's about magic
  • 00:14:04
moments of connection when all the
  • 00:14:07
lectures are on EDX and Coursera and
  • 00:14:10
Harvard and Yale profs are just on the
  • 00:14:12
internet why do we even bother coming to
  • 00:14:14
school why even bother if it's not for
  • 00:14:17
this field it's about being in the
  • 00:14:20
    relational about magic moments of
  • 00:14:22
connection we have to get out of the
  • 00:14:24
mentality where it's me sitting from the
  • 00:14:27
top of the lofty mountain giving you all
  • 00:14:29
this stuff to me getting with you right
  • 00:14:32
there with you meeting you where you are
  • 00:14:34
so what we want to do is do an exercise
  • 00:14:37
together that wraps up all of these four
  • 00:14:40
elements so it's called limiting beliefs
  • 00:14:43
so Greg what are limiting beliefs
  • 00:14:45
limiting beliefs are these kind of
  • 00:14:47
    internal voices that are probably
  • 00:14:48
critical and get in the way from you
  • 00:14:50
leading the life that you want to lead
  • 00:14:52
or learning new things so an example for
  • 00:14:54
me for instance is I you know I have a
  • 00:14:55
brother and he was like straight-a
  • 00:14:57
student really really smart so growing
  • 00:14:58
up I did compare myself quite a bit to
  • 00:15:01
him and that internal limiting belief
  • 00:15:03
became one of I'm not smart enough so
  • 00:15:06
one of my limiting beliefs is that my
  • 00:15:08
mom once said just as a throwaway
  • 00:15:10
comment maybe hey crystal you're not
  • 00:15:13
creative you're just only good at
  • 00:15:14
copying other people and I don't know
  • 00:15:16
why that stuck but it was like a little
  • 00:15:19
    seed
  • 00:15:19
lodged in me and I just stop saying yes
  • 00:15:23
to anything that I thought was creative
  • 00:15:25
because that wasn't me so what I want
  • 00:15:28
you to do right now is to bring to mind
  • 00:15:31
one of your limiting beliefs you don't
  • 00:15:34
have to share it with anyone but what we
  • 00:15:35
want you to do is take out your mobile
  • 00:15:37
phone yes you have permission to take it
  • 00:15:39
out now and log on to this website
  • 00:15:42
answergarden CH or you can snap the QR
  • 00:15:45
code and by the way just no pressure but
  • 00:15:49
our Asian students take about seven
  • 00:15:50
point six five seconds to do this so I'm
  • 00:15:54
timing all of you guys right so you're
  • 00:15:57
gonna go to this website and you're
  • 00:15:59
gonna enter in the text box just one or
  • 00:16:02
two words about your personal limited
  • 00:16:05
belief for instance not creative or lazy
  • 00:16:09
or whatever is true for you and as we do
  • 00:16:13
this the word cloud will form and the
  • 00:16:17
words that we see that are bigger and
  • 00:16:19
bigger in this cloud will represent that
  • 00:16:22
the answers that are more and more
  • 00:16:25
popular so in the moment I'm just gonna
  • 00:16:28
let you guys go on to that website
  • 00:16:32
really impressed with you guys very good
  • 00:16:35
students also though use of technology
  • 00:16:40
with students this can't just say hey
  • 00:16:43
technology is bad we don't want you to
  • 00:16:44
use phones at all it's how can we use
  • 00:16:47
them as educational tools how can we use
  • 00:16:50
them for good for actually bringing
  • 00:16:51
people together rather than getting more
  • 00:16:54
and more isolated needs a little more
  • 00:16:57
time to log onto this website a little
  • 00:16:59
bit more okay we'll leave it up there
  • 00:17:01
for a little while longer okay let's
  • 00:17:08
have a look and see what is forming so
  • 00:17:11
if we could switch over this is also oh
  • 00:17:14
    here we go
  • 00:17:15
oh my goodness there we go so so this is
  • 00:17:18
usually quite amazing when we do that
  • 00:17:20
with our students but let's take a
  • 00:17:22
moment and reflect what you see here so
  • 00:17:24
the big words are those that are shared
  • 00:17:26
by many in the audience here and what's
  • 00:17:29
    remarkable
  • 00:17:31
is this look so similar to Singapore's
  • 00:17:33
well that they're not good enough not
  • 00:17:36
smart enough in audiences that are
  • 00:17:38
obviously so smart and so highly
  • 00:17:40
    functioning it's really really
  • 00:17:42
    surprising
  • 00:17:43
now usually there are two big take-home
  • 00:17:48
realizations that our students get when
  • 00:17:50
they see this the first one is when we
  • 00:17:53
debrief some of the students I say like
  • 00:17:55
wow I thought I was the only one who had
  • 00:18:00
these limiting beliefs the other is that
  • 00:18:02
    it's actually a really liberating
  • 00:18:04
experience to be able to share these
  • 00:18:07
    with everyone else
  • 00:18:08
so before we conclude I invite you to
  • 00:18:13
close your eyes for a moment and bring
  • 00:18:20
to mind somebody that's dear to you
  • 00:18:24
could be a family member could be a
  • 00:18:27
friend or colleague and ask yourself
  • 00:18:30
these questions do you know they're
  • 00:18:34
limiting beliefs do they know you are
  • 00:18:41
limiting beliefs and what would it be
  • 00:18:47
like if you were able to share these
  • 00:18:50
with him if you could have a dialogue
  • 00:18:52
about them would that impact these
  • 00:18:56
limiting beliefs in their power how
  • 00:19:00
might that change your relationship with
  • 00:19:03
    them
  • 00:19:06
okay then you can open your eyes again
  • 00:19:10
thank eyes just take a silent moment to
  • 00:19:14
look around the room look at these
  • 00:19:16
beautiful faces of the people around you
  • 00:19:19
and look at them with this newfound
  • 00:19:21
appreciation that hey they suffer too
  • 00:19:24
they have limiting beliefs just like you
  • 00:19:26
this is a shared human experience you're
  • 00:19:30
not alone and if you just remember one
  • 00:19:32
thing from our talk today remember this
  • 00:19:35
you are not alone and in the era of deep
  • 00:19:41
tech we all need to double down on deep
  • 00:19:45
human thank you very much guys
  • 00:19:48
    [Applause]
  • 00:20:02
    you
