- 00:00:44do PPC strategy to put it into
- 00:00:46perspective if you even need the PPC
- 00:00:48click fraud software for one but two
- 00:00:51which of these softwares actually might
- 00:00:53be the best option for you so anyway I'm
- 00:00:55going to go into detail on all of this
- 00:00:57on this particular video and we'll get
- 00:00:59into it so if you've watched my other
- 00:01:01videos about clickfrod software which if
- 00:01:03you're considering clickfrog software

- 00:01:07start off there by the way because
- 00:01:09there's some fundamental things you need
- 00:01:10to know about click software the the
- 00:01:13quick and dirty on that is I mentioned
- 00:01:15on my other videos I only have a couple
- 00:01:18other videos about clickfrod software
- 00:01:20but I mentioned it in general in these
- 00:01:23other videos
- 00:01:24click fraud is actually only a problem
- 00:01:27in certain niches out there
- 00:01:30what happens is
- 00:01:33uh click sees has had a lot of funding
- 00:01:37and put together this huge in-house
- 00:01:41Terror Department which is their
- 00:01:43marketing and advertising department
- 00:01:44where they go out there and they email
- 00:01:46people and they make you think the
- 00:01:49reason why your PPC campaign results
- 00:01:50suck is because you don't have their
- 00:01:52click fraud software or you're having
- 00:01:54click fraud and the reality is 98 of you
- 00:01:57guys doing PPC it's not a problem or 95
- 00:02:00or something or along those lines I
- 00:02:02don't know the exact percentage but most
- 00:02:04you guys don't even need the software to
- 00:02:06begin with the clickfrod software and so
- 00:02:08you know they get in under in your head
- 00:02:10they know if they email you at the right
- 00:02:12time and you're just frustrated enough
- 00:02:14with your PPC at that time and you you
- 00:02:17might just automatically assume your
- 00:02:19problems related to click fraud and then
- 00:02:21you get into paying for clickprod
- 00:02:23software which
- 00:02:24now it's like a placebo effect right
- 00:02:26just like taking a a sugar pill uh
- 00:02:30this this pill is supposed to make my uh
- 00:02:32uh other member bigger you take it well
- 00:02:35it really is big really uh uh if you did
- 00:02:39that and you sold sugar peels to people
- 00:02:4020 30 40 50 percent of the people would
- 00:02:44think it would work would would work
- 00:02:45itself by having nothing but sugar in
- 00:02:47that pill
- 00:02:48The Click fraud software is pretty much
- 00:02:51the same way a lot of and I'll tell you
- 00:02:53the truth you could type in Click fraud
- 00:02:55snake it is Click fraud snake oil I made
- 00:02:59a video about this but as well but if
- 00:03:01you could type in Google is clickbroad
- 00:03:03snake oil Reddit
- 00:03:05there's other PPC experts out there who
- 00:03:09you know in general give you a not just
- 00:03:11my opinion on it but other people's
- 00:03:13opinions you know how to just rely on
- 00:03:15mine uh is it so uh
- 00:03:18um snake oil and generally speaking the
- 00:03:20general sentiment is that it is snake
- 00:03:23oil because not just because of it can
- 00:03:27be useful in certain situations but
- 00:03:29specifically how it's marketed to people
- 00:03:31who are novices
- 00:03:32it's just like you know
- 00:03:35a hot blonde goes in to get her car
- 00:03:37fixed at the car mechanic the car
- 00:03:39mechanic says
- 00:03:41oh boy we're gonna make a killing on
- 00:03:43this one you need Blake uh you need
- 00:03:46blinker fluid you need uh you know um
- 00:03:51a brand new uh tie rod uh filter all
- 00:03:55this other and they just start
- 00:03:57they're selling to you guys who aren't
- 00:03:59in the know about PPC I solution a false
- 00:04:03solution so anyway in the now what
- 00:04:06markets where it is useful is where
- 00:04:09you're gonna have a high CPC markets
- 00:04:11particularly in service markets in the
- 00:04:14e-commerce space there's so many clicks
- 00:04:16basically that if they they had they
- 00:04:18would have to click your ad so many
- 00:04:19times for you to notice anything with
- 00:04:22your overall PPC spend that it would
- 00:04:24just be too hard to do because click
- 00:04:25fraud takes effort it takes a network of
- 00:04:28people or it takes ready something
- 00:04:30called a botnet to do that and uh
- 00:04:33effectively it's the more clicks you
- 00:04:35have to do to you know drain someone's
- 00:04:38budget the harder it becomes the more
- 00:04:40expensive it becomes the higher the cost
- 00:04:42per click you're paying
- 00:04:44the easier it is to click fraud you if
- 00:04:46you're paying 30 bucks per click and
- 00:04:48you're a local market where you only get
- 00:04:50several hundred clicks a month and you
- 00:04:52can put together a network where you
- 00:04:54could click someone's ads a couple
- 00:04:56hundred times that takes out half of
- 00:04:57your profits that could be the make or
- 00:04:59break on whether you think your ads are
- 00:05:01profitable or not and generally what
- 00:05:03they do is when you first start out they
- 00:05:05see someone new they already have a
- 00:05:07system set up to click fraud the new
- 00:05:10guys they click fraud the out of
- 00:05:12their ads then they say oh Google
- 00:05:14doesn't work and then they quit and then
- 00:05:16they're done which is way cheaper which
- 00:05:19it costs them still a lot of money to
- 00:05:20put that click fraud system in place to
- 00:05:22click fraud the person but way cheaper
- 00:05:24than competing against all these new
- 00:05:25guys in my market all the time who wants
- 00:05:27to try Google ads by far so that's what
- 00:05:30they do and they not only do that
- 00:05:31they'll go in they've gotten
- 00:05:33sophisticated they'll go in
- 00:05:35click on your ad fill out a what looks
- 00:05:38like a lead
- 00:05:39and the leads basically so
- 00:05:43you don't catch on that you've been
- 00:05:44click fraud until way down the line and
- 00:05:47you've looked at the lead quality and
- 00:05:48the closing rate on your leads and all
- 00:05:50that
- 00:05:51so from that standpoint
- 00:05:54um that well anyway that's where most of
- 00:05:56the click prod comes sometimes they'll
- 00:05:58try to click fraud you long term to
- 00:06:00knock you out but more so it's about
- 00:06:01click frauding you fast and up front to
- 00:06:04get rid of you quickly because
- 00:06:07even if it cost a lot of money in terms
- 00:06:09of Click product front to get rid of you
- 00:06:11not having another competitor for the
- 00:06:13next five years is still cheaper than
- 00:06:14that click fraud versus uh if you're
- 00:06:17already established you know Google ADS
- 00:06:19works if you start click frauding
- 00:06:21somebody and their your performance goes
- 00:06:23down for a month you're not just going
- 00:06:24to stop you're going to say oh it's a
- 00:06:26short-term thing so you're gonna have to
- 00:06:27click fraud somebody for like six months
- 00:06:29straight when they already probably
- 00:06:31scaled up their ad budget already and
- 00:06:33it's going to take a whole lot more
- 00:06:35money in terms of resources to click
- 00:06:36fraud the person so anyway long story
- 00:06:39short if you are doing services
- 00:06:43generally in the it's in service markets
- 00:06:46where you'll get the super high cost per
- 00:06:48clicks
- 00:06:49um stuff like you know PPC Services is
- 00:06:52one uh tell yo um uh
- 00:06:56uh I uh virtual telephone services
- 00:07:00um
- 00:07:01Sales Training Services uh
- 00:07:04you know higher a CEO executive
- 00:07:07Outsourcing Services a lot of these
- 00:07:10Professional Services as well as local
- 00:07:11services like water damage restoration
- 00:07:14and Pest Control you'll see in those
- 00:07:17markets you'll see clicks 20 30 40 bucks
- 00:07:21and some of these National Services like
- 00:07:23the telephony services it can get up to
- 00:07:25100 bucks a click just for one click
- 00:07:28believe it or not and it's worth it
- 00:07:30ultimately if you just set up your stuff
- 00:07:32right otherwise Google wouldn't get away
- 00:07:34with charging that much if you're
- 00:07:36wondering why it's that high but anyway
- 00:07:37the higher it is the more they could
- 00:07:40drain from you for every single click
- 00:07:42you could think about it this way every
- 00:07:44single time that they got a click fraud
- 00:07:46you given that Google has its own click
- 00:07:47fraud systems
- 00:07:49it's going to cost your competitor or
- 00:07:51whoever's doing it to you money which
- 00:07:53generally 99 of the time it's a
- 00:07:54competitor doing it to you so it might
- 00:07:57cost them
- 00:07:58you know three dollars per click to
- 00:08:00click fraud you so but if you're if
- 00:08:03they're driving you thirty dollars for
- 00:08:04every time they pay three dollars it's
- 00:08:06you see the economics could potentially
- 00:08:08work out there
- 00:08:09so uh the higher the the more that you
- 00:08:12that you have to pay for per click in
- 00:08:14your Market the more likely it is that
- 00:08:16somebody is going to be to be able to be
- 00:08:18to successfully click fraud you maybe
- 00:08:20nobody in your Market's doing that and a
- 00:08:23lot of markets though where there's a
- 00:08:25lot of there's a high CPC and there's a
- 00:08:27lot of money on the line personal injury
- 00:08:29law is one where it's a really big
- 00:08:32problem
- 00:08:33you'll get for sure someone to click for
- 00:08:36try to flick click fraud you the first
- 00:08:38few months of starting up your ads in a
- 00:08:39personal injury space because if you
- 00:08:41actually get Google ads to work in
- 00:08:43personal or injury law and the decent
- 00:08:45sized city you could make 30 million
- 00:08:48dollars a year so of course there's
- 00:08:50going to be people willing to do you
- 00:08:52know weird to in order to just get
- 00:08:54another 10 of the slice of the market
- 00:08:56it's another three million dollars a
- 00:08:58year in sales you don't think there will
- 00:08:59there's at least one person in your
- 00:09:01Market willing to do that to you which
- 00:09:04they they're not going to get caught
- 00:09:05there's no way they're going to get
- 00:09:07caught it's like
- 00:09:08the only limit is is somebody a bastard
- 00:09:11one to do it and two do they have the
- 00:09:14technical means to do it because that
- 00:09:16still is a barrier and three or do they
- 00:09:17have the money uh the money issue is no
- 00:09:20longer there because you're talking
- 00:09:21about a lot of money in it itself uh
- 00:09:23technical wise well there's so much
- 00:09:25money in itself that they can go hire
- 00:09:26somebody who knows how to do it
- 00:09:28and three are they a bastard well we we
- 00:09:30know the jokes about lawyers so you know
- 00:09:33in general of course just gonna probably
- 00:09:35be one uh skeezy lawyer that would do
- 00:09:37that so anyway if you're in a market
- 00:09:39generally speaking if you're paying over
- 00:09:4110 bucks a click
- 00:09:43click fraud can be an issue it's not
- 00:09:45going to be an issue in every case
- 00:09:46certain niches that have high cost per
- 00:09:48click have it and some don't I gave you
- 00:09:51some examples uh where I've seen it
- 00:09:54where it was a problem before so what
- 00:09:56you have to do is you just got to do
- 00:09:58what you know follow my videos to do the
- 00:10:00PPC right once you know that you have
- 00:10:03the right landing page you have the
- 00:10:04right ads and you still can't get it to
- 00:10:07work now click fraud software you can go
- 00:10:09and explore and see if that's the weak
- 00:10:11link
- 00:10:13so if you're at a market that where you
- 00:10:16need the click fraud software if we have
- 00:10:17established this
- 00:10:19click guard The Click fraud software
- 00:10:22clickguard is a much better option for
- 00:10:24making sure you're the you are only
- 00:10:26blocking the type of traffic you need
- 00:10:28and that is non-brand traffic
- 00:10:32brand traffic is a key part of any
- 00:10:34online advertising campaign as long as
- 00:10:36your cpcs are not
- 00:10:38or your as long as your brand terms are
- 00:10:41not arbitrary and your cpcs are Sky High
- 00:10:44which isn't most you as it's a key
- 00:10:48um
- 00:10:48and that the brand keywords that you
- 00:10:51should be advertising on are a key part
- 00:10:53of your to have an efficient sales
- 00:10:55funnel for your company so I have a lot
- 00:10:58of clients that fight me on this they
- 00:10:59say I'm not going to pay for money for
- 00:11:01people to click on my brand ad when they
- 00:11:03search for me using my brand terms on
- 00:11:05Google the reason why you are going to
- 00:11:08actually advertise through Google search
- 00:11:10ads and on your brand terms or brand
- 00:11:13name trade name product names is because
- 00:11:16if you're going to spend all this money
- 00:11:17on online advertising to get somebody
- 00:11:19who does not know about you to know
- 00:11:21about you convinced to buy
- 00:11:24all the way through the sales process up
- 00:11:26to the point where they have to wait
- 00:11:27till let's say they they get paid or
- 00:11:30whatnot or ask their wife later on when
- 00:11:32they go to buy
- 00:11:33they're going to try to type in your
- 00:11:35brand name or your product name all
- 00:11:36excited to buy and a lot of times
- 00:11:38they're not going to remember the exact
- 00:11:39spelling of your brand name which if you
- 00:11:42run brand ads you'll know what I'm
- 00:11:43talking about because you can go into
- 00:11:44your search query data report and you'll
- 00:11:46see all the com all the misspellings of
- 00:11:48your brand name they're in every
- 00:11:50possible way imaginable even if you
- 00:11:52think you have an easiest spell brand
- 00:11:54name or easy to remember brand name
- 00:11:55it'll still be screwed up a ton
- 00:11:58in that situation where they're going to
- 00:12:00buy at the last second and they type in
- 00:12:02your brand name and get it a little bit
- 00:12:03off and you don't show up right away and
- 00:12:06you got all this other to click on
- 00:12:07on Google
- 00:12:09you're just begging to have somebody
- 00:12:11that now has the money who knows they're
- 00:12:14going to be buying a brand new broom
- 00:12:16to just buy somebody else's broom at
- 00:12:18that point in time so you wasted all
- 00:12:19this time and money and effort to build
- 00:12:21the perfect funnel to convince somebody
- 00:12:23who wants a broom to want to buy a broom
- 00:12:25the last second you didn't spend the
- 00:12:27little extra money it would have took to
- 00:12:29make sure that person can find you at
- 00:12:31the last second right before they were
- 00:12:32going to buy that in itself is just
- 00:12:34arrogance and idiot uh being an idiot
- 00:12:37basically so what I meant by this other
- 00:12:40stuff is there are some situations where
- 00:12:42you can't necessarily or wouldn't want
- 00:12:44to maybe bid on your brand terms to give
- 00:12:46you what example is in my market here
- 00:12:49we run a PPC services for it I don't
- 00:12:52want to bid on my brand terms back in
- 00:12:53the day it wasn't the the case recently
- 00:12:57Google figured out so many people are
- 00:12:59searching for our brand that why don't
- 00:13:01we just uh the people who want PPC
- 00:13:03Services why don't we charge way more
- 00:13:05money for that term given guaranteed PPC
- 00:13:09is the name of our brand
- 00:13:10guaranteed PPC is something that people
- 00:13:13search when they're not just looking for
- 00:13:15us but looking for PPC services so in
- 00:13:19essence what they've done is they raised
- 00:13:21the cost of bidding on guaranteed PPC as
- 00:13:23a brand term for us to the point where
- 00:13:25we had to pay twenty dollars a click to
- 00:13:28get our brand out there
- 00:13:30so and it is it's still worth it but if
- 00:13:33you're in that type of situation you're
- 00:13:34essentially having to pay for that
- 00:13:35customer twice you had to pay for them
- 00:13:37once to Market to them and get in front
- 00:13:39of them the first time and then when
- 00:13:41they go to buy you got to pay for them
- 00:13:42again essentially doubling your
- 00:13:45acquisition costs uh doubling your
- 00:13:48acquisition costs at that point may not
- 00:13:50be worth having the brand ad to make the
- 00:13:53bottom of your sales funnel where they
- 00:13:54go to buy at the last second worth it
- 00:13:56for you so you have to just you know
- 00:13:57weigh that out generally speaking if
- 00:13:59you're paying 20 30 40 50 bucks a click
- 00:14:01on a brand term that in it itself
- 00:14:04generally where it becomes not worth it
- 00:14:07but
- 00:14:09out of all of our clients and all you
- 00:14:11know literally every single client that
- 00:14:13I've had we've never had to where their
- 00:14:15brand terms were 20 bucks a click for
- 00:14:18some reason
- 00:14:19well it would make sense in our PPC
- 00:14:21Market of course other PPC experts are
- 00:14:24bidding for PPC services so everybody it
- 00:14:26really bids up the price on our Market
- 00:14:28but
- 00:14:29this shouldn't be that you and for and
- 00:14:31so for that for basically everybody
- 00:14:33watching here you need to be betting on
- 00:14:35your brand terms to make other
- 00:14:37advertising you're doing
- 00:14:40you know essentially work and you should
- 00:14:41be looking at online advertising as
- 00:14:43you're building a sales funnel you're
- 00:14:45doing certain things to get awareness
- 00:14:46you're doing certain things to build
- 00:14:48credibility
- 00:14:49and you know eliminate objections and
- 00:14:53then close the sale and people will
- 00:14:55click on one ad and find you one day to
- 00:14:57get awareness and then click on another
- 00:14:59ad one day to get reviews about your
- 00:15:01company and then click on an ad one day
- 00:15:02to compare you to competitors and then
- 00:15:04click on an ad you know and you can set
- 00:15:06up a whole system in that once depending
- 00:15:08on what part of the uh uh you know stage
- 00:15:12of buying somebody else into your Market
- 00:15:13you're going to have a message that's
- 00:15:14that caters to them
- 00:15:17and so if you don't have the brand ads
- 00:15:19at the bottom part of the sales funnel
- 00:15:20before they buy you're gonna have a
- 00:15:22leaky funnel and you're going to end up
- 00:15:23making the overall top of the Year Final
- 00:15:25West way less efficient without the
- 00:15:27bottom of the funnel
- 00:15:29you know to where there's no holes in
- 00:15:31the bottom of the funnel so why do I
- 00:15:33bring that up is
- 00:15:36to make it so therefore
- 00:15:38brand terms are a key part of to get an
- 00:15:42online advertising program for your
- 00:15:44company
- 00:15:45to work efficiently and to work well and
- 00:15:47get the full amount from it and get
- 00:15:49overall more from an ad budget than you
- 00:15:52could have got otherwise and so what
- 00:15:55these click fraud software is Click C
- 00:15:57some PPC protect don't do is they don't
- 00:15:59let you to differentiate who you want to
- 00:16:02be to uh block or consider blocking
- 00:16:06versus not down specifically at the ad
- 00:16:10group level so I don't want to be
- 00:16:12running a clicks prod software and then
- 00:16:14click cease decides because a lot of
- 00:16:16this is done on the IP address level
- 00:16:18they're looking at the IP address of all
- 00:16:20the people coming to your website and
- 00:16:22then they say hey look this person who
- 00:16:24came from
- 00:16:28129.26.24.168 he came to the website
- 00:16:30once before and he only stayed 10
- 00:16:33seconds and he's trying to come to the
- 00:16:34site again block well
- 00:16:37as you know from what I just explained
- 00:16:39to you the really good PPC advertisers
- 00:16:41out there they're going to be running a
- 00:16:43funnel they're not going to just try to
- 00:16:44sell you
- 00:16:45either immediately or none at all
- 00:16:46because people don't think and decide
- 00:16:48like that and the more expensive your
- 00:16:50product or service is the longer the
- 00:16:52time it's going to be from the time that
- 00:16:54they initially do the research on you or
- 00:16:55in your Market in general and buy
- 00:16:59so with that said
- 00:17:03if you're going to look at uh trying to
- 00:17:07block somebody from coming back to your
- 00:17:09site again which would pretty much
- 00:17:10guarantee that if somebody's trying to
- 00:17:12click on your ad more than once and
- 00:17:13click fraud you that way obviously that
- 00:17:15would block it but by doing that you're
- 00:17:17also blocking the people who are going
- 00:17:19to want naturally want to come back to
- 00:17:21your site again because they need to
- 00:17:22come to your site several times
- 00:17:23naturally to decide if they're going to
- 00:17:26do business with you and just in general
- 00:17:28do business with you in general so as it
- 00:17:32comes to that I don't care if they've
- 00:17:34been to my site 50 times for my brand
- 00:17:37terms
- 00:17:38because every single time they search
- 00:17:39for my brand name and got to my site
- 00:17:41they're going to be two or three times
- 00:17:42more likely to buy every time they've
- 00:17:44been to that typed in my brand keyword
- 00:17:47clicked on my ad and come to my site and
- 00:17:50buy and a lot of times
- 00:17:51it is going to be they're going to come
- 00:17:53back to your site and type in your brand
- 00:17:55name and come to your site multiple
- 00:17:56times before they buy I don't want to
- 00:17:58run a click fraud analysis on people
- 00:18:01typing in my brand name to come to my
- 00:18:03site because in general the search
- 00:18:06Behavior too much is that they're going
- 00:18:08to be coming back multiple times and the
- 00:18:10click fraud software is going to block
- 00:18:12my opportunity going back to what I said
- 00:18:14before a lot of these people can't
- 00:18:15remember what the brand name how it's
- 00:18:17spelled or what it exactly is it's going
- 00:18:19to be able to help the person along that
- 00:18:22typed it in wrong Google through the
- 00:18:24brand keywords I have helped me guide
- 00:18:26them back to my website I don't want
- 00:18:28anybody getting away from somebody
- 00:18:30typing in my brand name and buying from
- 00:18:32me so with
- 00:18:34clip guard you can actually decide down
- 00:18:37to the ad group level what you want to
- 00:18:39run a click broad analysis on and what
- 00:18:40you do not it's so you could just run
- 00:18:42the click fraud analysis on non-brand
- 00:18:45campaigns
- 00:18:46non-brand keywords and if you run all
- 00:18:49your keywords in exact match basically
- 00:18:51this works very very well because you
- 00:18:54won't because a lot of people don't
- 00:18:55realize if you look at your Search terms
- 00:18:57data in your account brand keywords will
- 00:19:00show up you know if you're if you're
- 00:19:02selling brooms for sale going back to my
- 00:19:04previous example uh they'll type in your
- 00:19:07brand name and then brooms for sale and
- 00:19:09then even though your keyword was brims
- 00:19:10for sale you'll get a brand somebody who
- 00:19:13typed in your brand name with brims for
- 00:19:15sale
- 00:19:16to have the and the ad triggered for
- 00:19:18that particular keyword that did not
- 00:19:19have the brand keyword in it so if you
- 00:19:21had a click fraud software going on your
- 00:19:23site that person who
- 00:19:25ultimately was a brand Searcher was
- 00:19:27blocked as well if you're and that would
- 00:19:29happen if you're running like phrase
- 00:19:30match or broad match which I don't even
- 00:19:32think anybody should do broad match
- 00:19:34anyway and I have a video about that if
- 00:19:36you want to know more about that but in
- 00:19:38general if you run all your keywords in
- 00:19:39exact match people typing in your brand
- 00:19:42name or and some variation maybe they'll
- 00:19:44type in your brand name and then a
- 00:19:45product name or brand name and then what
- 00:19:47you sell or whatever
- 00:19:49that's all confined to a specific brand
- 00:19:51campaign that you have
- 00:19:53and then with that you can make sure
- 00:19:56the people that want to type in your
- 00:19:57brand name to find you they can do it as
- 00:19:59many times as they want or as the rest
- 00:20:01of your campaigns that are non-brand
- 00:20:03keyword related you can Define that they
- 00:20:05can only come to my site once and once
- 00:20:08only and so what we would do a lot of
- 00:20:10times with
- 00:20:12for instance in the water damage
- 00:20:13restoration space on the local market
- 00:20:15which click fraud there's a big problem
- 00:20:18of Click fraud in that market
- 00:20:19specifically
- 00:20:21we would make sure that again if they're
- 00:20:24typing in water damage restoration
- 00:20:25they're not typing in our client's brand
- 00:20:27keyword they either have to come to that
- 00:20:29site and call right away or not and
- 00:20:30mainly that is because they're not going
- 00:20:33to have to come back to my site multiple
- 00:20:35times to decide if they're going to call
- 00:20:36so to eliminate
- 00:20:39to you know weighing you know the
- 00:20:41different things here that we have to
- 00:20:42weigh
- 00:20:43we want to block all the click fraud
- 00:20:45people from clicking on our ads and
- 00:20:47racking up a 30 cost per click every
- 00:20:48time one of our competitors clicks our
- 00:20:50ads we'll make it harder for them to
- 00:20:52click fraud Us by just making sure that
- 00:20:54from one IP address they can only come
- 00:20:56to our site one time from a non-brand
- 00:20:58search if they want to come back to our
- 00:21:00site from a brand search which it's not
- 00:21:0230 bucks a click anymore it's like a
- 00:21:04dollar a click
- 00:21:06then they can come back as many times
- 00:21:08and say why and if somebody's going to
- 00:21:09click fraud you they're going to click
- 00:21:10fraud you on the expensive keywords not
- 00:21:12the cheap brand keyword so therefore you
- 00:21:13don't have to scrutinize the brand
- 00:21:15traffic anyway
- 00:21:17uh with all that said uh to all another
- 00:21:21thing to consider here if somebody
- 00:21:22really does need to come back to your
- 00:21:24site many many times to buy you a really
- 00:21:26expensive product
- 00:21:28uh with that said you don't want to use
- 00:21:32click fraud software at all because
- 00:21:34again these click fraud softwares go on
- 00:21:37hey people should only be able to come
- 00:21:39to the site multiple times and then
- 00:21:40we're blocking them from seeing our ads
- 00:21:42and if they come need to come back to
- 00:21:43your site multiple times before they
- 00:21:45decide because you have a next very
- 00:21:46expensive product that's also probably
- 00:21:48very technical then you're not going to
- 00:21:51want to necessarily use click fraud
- 00:21:53software so click fraud software is good
- 00:21:55in high CPC markets like I said
- 00:21:58and service markets where you pretty
- 00:22:00much generally are going to decide
- 00:22:01whether you're going to contact that
- 00:22:03company by phone by email or not
- 00:22:06and with that
- 00:22:08after they've came to your site and they
- 00:22:10didn't decide to call you or email you
- 00:22:12you can block them and then that becomes
- 00:22:14a pretty good method of getting rid of
- 00:22:15the competitors that are trying to click
- 00:22:17on your ads fraudulently in the
- 00:22:19situations we're talking about Products
- 00:22:22technical products but they have to come
- 00:22:23back to your site many times before they
- 00:22:24decide to buy click fraud software isn't
- 00:22:26good because they just you know again
- 00:22:29they have to come back to your site many
- 00:22:30times so it's hard to differentiate in
- 00:22:32other words the fraud clicks versus the
- 00:22:34legitimate clicks when the legitimate
- 00:22:37people have to come back to the site
- 00:22:38many times so differentiating a fraud
- 00:22:40click from a legitimate click is too
- 00:22:42hard not to mention again the cost per
- 00:22:45click is very low they're not very
- 00:22:47likely to do it to you in the first
- 00:22:48place because the cost to give you to
- 00:22:50click fraud you in the first place would
- 00:22:52be so high that they're probably not
- 00:22:54going to do it there's a there certainly
- 00:22:56is a certain cost to click fraud you for
- 00:22:59every fraudulent click they're going to
- 00:23:01give you and if you're paying a dollar
- 00:23:02per click or two dollars per click it
- 00:23:05just certainly the math doesn't work out
- 00:23:06a lot of times to do it to you whereas
- 00:23:08you you're paying twenty dollars thirty
- 00:23:10dollars a click like I said it is so
- 00:23:13in summary click guard is better because
- 00:23:16you can actually Define which ad groups
- 00:23:19you want to apply your click fraud
- 00:23:21blocking to and you can relegate that to
- 00:23:24non-brand campaigns so that brand
- 00:23:26campaigns from people want to come back
- 00:23:28to you and find you given that's a
- 00:23:29important part of creating a sales
- 00:23:31funnel uh for your brand through you
- 00:23:33know the advertising that you're doing
- 00:23:34that you don't block people at the last
- 00:23:37second that are trying to come buy from
- 00:23:38you but and if you need to have and
- 00:23:42click fraud is a problem in your Market
- 00:23:44you can actually still do it and not do
- 00:23:47it on your brand games brand campaigns
- 00:23:49do it on your non-brand campaigns and do
- 00:23:52pretty much what most of my clients are
- 00:23:53doing like I said is
- 00:23:56IP address or user from one IP address
- 00:23:59can only see and click on my ad once
- 00:24:01after that they're not going to be able
- 00:24:03to click on our ads again and that is a
- 00:24:05way to mitigate a lot of the click fraud
- 00:24:08that would happen in a high CPC service
- 00:24:10type Market where click fraud actually
- 00:24:13is occurring in your Market if that
- 00:24:15makes sense so
- 00:24:16anyway I know there's a lot of other
- 00:24:18things I could have covered here but
- 00:24:20from a practical standpoint
- 00:24:24this is the main thing that people are I
- 00:24:27see are screwing up on as it comes to
- 00:24:29click fraud there are certain times
- 00:24:31where somebody has to come back to your
- 00:24:32site many many times you can't use click
- 00:24:34fraud in a situation where legitimately
- 00:24:37they either have to contact you or not
- 00:24:39and you could be blocking people if they
- 00:24:42don't respond to you right away and so
- 00:24:45that they can't come back again click
- 00:24:46fraud software can help if you've got
- 00:24:49actual clip fraud happening in your
- 00:24:50Market but still
- 00:24:53you want to not do that on your brand
- 00:24:54campaigns because that'll mitigate any
- 00:24:57gains you get from blocking the click
- 00:24:58fraud by making it harder for people at
- 00:25:01the last second to find you by through
- 00:25:03your brand name and the misspelling of
- 00:25:05the brand name and so forth that the
- 00:25:07legal names that they may search for you
- 00:25:09that way that you have
- 00:25:12and so the other stuff there's a lot of
- 00:25:14other stuff that is different about
- 00:25:16click season PPC prep Tech The Click
- 00:25:18guard but for my professional experience
- 00:25:20it's that it's the BR
- 00:25:23applying the click fraud software to a
- 00:25:26brand campaign or not using a brand
- 00:25:27campaign you should use a brand campaign
- 00:25:29and then you should exclude clickfrod
- 00:25:31software from the brand campaign
- 00:25:33if you think you got click fraud in your
- 00:25:36Market
- 00:25:36and um so that is why I would use click
- 00:25:40fraud or click art versus qixies and PPC
- 00:25:43protect I won't go through all this
- 00:25:45stuff again
- 00:25:46I think you got the general idea here
- 00:25:48most of you guys don't need it if you
- 00:25:50need it click guard is the one don't
- 00:25:52apply it to your brand campaign to use
- 00:25:54exact match so that all your brand
- 00:25:55searches are relegated to your brand
- 00:25:57campaign and uh for the most part
- 00:26:01of course on your non-brand if you can
- 00:26:03you're in a market where you're doing
- 00:26:04lead generation you can block people
- 00:26:06from coming and back and seeing and
- 00:26:07clicking on your ad a second or third or
- 00:26:09fourth time using your clip guard
- 00:26:11against your non-brand campaigns
