- 00:09:29what is renunciation I'm not okay I want

- 00:09:34won't whoa don't renounce that that's
- 00:09:36ridiculous there a totally natural
- 00:09:39instinct to try to be okay renunciation
- 00:09:41is basically saying I think this will
- 00:09:43make me okay but I'm not going to do it
- 00:09:45as long as you think it's going to make
- 00:09:46you be okay you miss the boat that's
- 00:09:49what's wrong it's deeper than
- 00:09:51renunciation doesn't mean you go out and
- 00:09:52do whatever it is your mind thinks you
- 00:09:54it's crazy go do drugs go do this okay
- 00:09:56that's that's a different story The
- 00:09:58question is do you understand why you're
- 00:10:01not okay and therefore understand how
- 00:10:04you go about being okay and the answer
- 00:10:07is no the way it naturally comes out is
- 00:10:10as follows I'm lonely you don't say I'm
- 00:10:12not okay you say I'm lonely it's a
- 00:10:14natural state they'll teach you that oh
- 00:10:15it's totally natural to be lonely
- 00:10:17totally natural to need people so now
- 00:10:19you need to go out and take care of that
- 00:10:21that is totally wrong okay why you're
- 00:10:26not okay let's just do it quickly you're
- 00:10:29not okay not because you don't have
- 00:10:31something you're not okay because
- 00:10:33there's something wrong inside of you

- 00:10:37outside not because some experience you
- 00:10:40had outside in the past you're not okay

- 00:11:52with that but what if that was your
- 00:11:54interaction with every single moment of
- 00:11:56your life no matter what happened in
- 00:11:59other words you mastered it you mastered
- 00:12:03the art of being okay there are Masters
- 00:12:05in golf there are Masters in tennis
- 00:12:08there are Masters in music well there
- 00:12:10are Masters in life you have mastered
- 00:12:13the art of being okay your inner being
- 00:12:16has been taken care of it's fine it's
- 00:12:18whole doesn't mean you don't interact
- 00:12:20with the outside you interact with the
- 00:12:22outside because it's fun you interact
- 00:12:23with the outside because you're filled
- 00:12:25with love and you share it you interact
- 00:12:26with the outside because everything's
- 00:12:28beautiful and it's like wow it's a total
- 00:12:31interactive sport but it's not out of
- 00:12:33need ever yeah I know it's hard feel I'm
- 00:12:36being tough ever ever I mean there's
- 00:12:39need for food there's some basic
- 00:12:40biological needs of your body but there
- 00:12:43are no psychological needs psychological
- 00:12:45needs are indication that something's
- 00:12:47wrong because otherwise there's just
- 00:12:49this beautiful energy flowing inside of
- 00:12:51you there's your natural state you feel
- 00:12:53Joy all the time you feel up all the
- 00:12:55time you feel love all the time you
- 00:12:57don't even understand what needs are
- 00:12:59that's how long it's been since you had
- 00:13:00a need and the same thing with things
- 00:13:03that you don't want to be fears right
- 00:13:05whatever is you handled fine before you

- 00:16:54inside you are doing it you are doing it

- 00:17:27have been having a beautiful day
- 00:17:29everything's wonderful and a car drives
- 00:17:31by that was similar to the color of the
- 00:17:33car you got an accident with 6 years ago
- 00:17:37boom we're not doing so good so now
- 00:17:40you've compounded the problem I had it
- 00:17:43pretty simple you're not okay inside if
- 00:17:45you get what you want you're better if
- 00:17:47you don't get what you want you're worse
- 00:17:48that lets you kind of know what's
- 00:17:49determining whether you're okay or not
- 00:17:51you okay who decides what you want you
- 00:17:54nobody else decides who decides what you
- 00:17:56don't want you therefore you're deciding
- 00:17:58how to screw yourself
- 00:18:00up okay all right so now we're going to
- 00:18:04compound it make a little more
- 00:18:05complicated because it is very
- 00:18:06complicated in there is like drowning
- 00:18:07what's that things are not even
- 00:18:10happening and they can close you or open
- 00:18:13you you have the ability I don't know
- 00:18:15why you do it but mlop you have the
- 00:18:17ability that if something goes wrong six
- 00:18:19years ago you can keep it inside of you
- 00:18:21so it keeps bothering you have you ever
- 00:18:24done that if you do it really really bad
- 00:18:28we call it a traumatic experience
- 00:18:30traumatic means you couldn't handle it
- 00:18:33at a level that you suppressed it so
- 00:18:36strong that has stayed inside of you and
- 00:18:38ran your life how's that for a
- 00:18:39definition of traumatic experiences so
- 00:18:41now we have collected inside of
- 00:18:43ourselves all of these bad experience I
- 00:18:46mean even tiny little things tiny little
- 00:18:49things you you're going to a party that
- 00:18:51was outside and it rained a couple years
- 00:18:53ago now that somebody invites you to a
- 00:18:56party every time you say is it outside
- 00:18:57or inside
- 00:19:00it left this impression on you well by
- 00:19:03the time you're done which doesn't take
- 00:19:05very long you got a lot of that stuff in
- 00:19:07there well if you have collected over
- 00:19:11time a whole bunch of stuff that closed
- 00:19:14you so that now you're sensitive about
- 00:19:18it and when when events happen outside
- 00:19:20they remind you of it I always talk
- 00:19:23about you know RW shock test the ink
- 00:19:24plots right what is that saying it's
- 00:19:26saying you got stuff in there
- 00:19:29if you go go take an ink blot test hey
- 00:19:31the doctor holds it up say what do you
- 00:19:32see ink what do you see a blot what do
- 00:19:35you see scribbles on the page he don't
- 00:19:37like you very much that's no he don't
- 00:19:39believe you no say what your first
- 00:19:41impression is it's supposed to hit your
- 00:19:43stuff you understand that that's what
- 00:19:45it's all about you got stuff in there
- 00:19:47what's that mommy and daddy fighting
- 00:19:49you're disclosing what's going on in
- 00:19:51there so if you build inside of you and
- 00:19:54you have this collection of things that
- 00:19:59bothered you that are still inside of
- 00:20:01you and if things outside do the little
- 00:20:04raw shock test to you that the slightest
- 00:20:07Sound of Music or a smell or this or
- 00:20:09that brings it back up you're not going
- 00:20:11to be okay in there how about just
- 00:20:13rested that just what you've done with
- 00:20:16your past the problems that you had in
- 00:20:18the past that you stored them inside you
- 00:20:20made a collection of them guarantees you
- 00:20:22you're not going to be okay inside
- 00:20:24because I said if something happens that
- 00:20:26you like you open and something Happ is
- 00:20:28that you don't like your clothes well
- 00:20:30now you stored things to make you
- 00:20:32clothes have you noticed therefore you
- 00:20:34clo quite a bit now I'm going to go to
- 00:20:36the third level I mean it was
- 00:20:38complicated enough that what's happening
- 00:20:39actually right now in the Here and Now
- 00:20:41is causing me to open and close now
- 00:20:43everything that happened in the past is
- 00:20:44causing me to open and close right you
- 00:20:46had a great vacation in Hawaii years and
- 00:20:48years ago you're having a tough day and
- 00:20:50somebody says hey you see what happened
- 00:20:52in Hawai yesterday oh thanks you brought
- 00:20:56me back up I God got me out of of it
- 00:20:59it's ridiculous in other words you've
- 00:21:01messed yourself up completely and now
- 00:21:04you're completely dependent upon outside
- 00:21:06events to be okay either they're
- 00:21:08actually happening or they stimulate
- 00:21:10positive or negative we call them some
- 00:21:12scars in yoga positive or negative
- 00:21:14impression that you stored inside so
- 00:21:16that's the second level the third level
- 00:21:18I don't always take you to but it's
- 00:21:19really important is it doesn't even
- 00:21:23matter if what happened outside bothered
- 00:21:26you what has happened now you're so
- 00:21:29prone to negative because what you've
- 00:21:31done is decided inside this is how I can
- 00:21:34be okay by what by getting what I want
- 00:21:37there it is but how do I know what I
- 00:21:39want past experiences so now I I don't
- 00:21:41know about you but I've developed in my
- 00:21:43mind my mind has developed this concept
- 00:21:46view opinion preference of what should
- 00:21:50be happening that will make me okay how
- 00:21:52people should behave how many people can
- 00:21:54fit in the elevator when I'm standing in
- 00:21:55there how close they can get what's
- 00:21:57personal space
- 00:21:59but I mean it is so specific it's
- 00:22:01ridiculous you got one of those okay
- 00:22:04which is this is how it needs to be for
- 00:22:07me to be okay that was what you did
- 00:22:09remember I said it's you're not okay you
- 00:22:11want to be okay this is how you're
- 00:22:13trying to be okay by making up with your
- 00:22:15analytical mind how everything and
- 00:22:17everyone needs to be for me to be okay
- 00:22:21got one all right what's the probability
- 00:22:23that's going to happen slim to nil zero
- 00:22:27it is zero what is the probability that
- 00:22:29the moment in front of you is going to
- 00:22:30match what you made up inside based on
- 00:22:31your past experiences we already said
- 00:22:33there's billions and zillions of moments
- 00:22:35going on why would it match yours the
- 00:22:38world is unfolding in accordance to the
- 00:22:40laws of physics chemistry meteorology
- 00:22:43psychology understand that there are
- 00:22:45laws that are determining why the moment
- 00:22:47is the way it is who do you think you
- 00:22:50are that's the epitome of ego you see it
- 00:22:53that's ego I am the center of the
- 00:22:56universe or at least I don't care about
- 00:22:58the universe but the center of the
- 00:22:59moments that are unfolding in front of
- 00:23:01me as if they're separate from the rest
- 00:23:04every single thing is tied to everything
- 00:23:06else if you just had your hair done you
- 00:23:08don't want the wind blowing that's a
- 00:23:10very big
- 00:23:13request do not make that minor all right
- 00:23:16if the wind is tied to the mountains and
- 00:23:18this and that and the rains and Theo and
- 00:23:20L and everything in the whole world
- 00:23:23right you have no right to sit there and
- 00:23:24say right here where I'm it could blow
- 00:23:26anywhere you want but don't blow here
- 00:23:29it's not about getting what you want
- 00:23:32it's not about getting what you want no
- 00:23:35why why you said if I get what I want I
- 00:23:37get open that's what's wrong is that you
- 00:23:39only open when you get what you want if
- 00:23:42you only open when you get what you want
- 00:23:44you're not going to be open very often
- 00:23:45and you're going to be neurotic and
- 00:23:47tense and anxious trying to make it be
- 00:23:49that way and you're going to worry all
- 00:23:52the time that it won't be that way
- 00:23:54wanting to get what you want and avoid
- 00:23:56what you don't want is the wor worst
- 00:23:58disease you can ever get why you will
- 00:24:01never be okay why one it's not going to
- 00:24:05be the way you want it's going to be the
- 00:24:06way it is if you haven't quau on yet all
- 00:24:09right people weather everything second
- 00:24:12if it isn't the way you want you get
- 00:24:14uptight and since it's not going to be
- 00:24:16the way you want you're uptight all the
- 00:24:18time that's what creates the tension I
- 00:24:20mean I have tension I don't know I have
- 00:24:22so much tension people have tension what
- 00:24:23is tension I am resisting inside I am
- 00:24:27struggling I am drowning and avoiding
- 00:24:30what you don't want is the same thing
- 00:24:32it's like things are going to unfold you
- 00:24:34can't say I don't want to die I love
- 00:24:35that one I don't want to die when
- 00:24:39ever and I'm really worried about
- 00:24:42it I bet you
- 00:24:44are right well I don't mind ding but I
- 00:24:47don't want to get
- 00:24:48old oh really no I don't want to get old
- 00:24:52I'm just telling you look what you do
- 00:24:53you make life impossible for yourself so
- 00:24:56I could keep going out there I was
- 00:24:58starting to say at the third level the
- 00:25:00third level is that you get so neurotic
- 00:25:04that everything that unfolds seems
- 00:25:06negative why because I have a way I want
- 00:25:09it to be and if it's not that way I
- 00:25:11consider that negative how about you if
- 00:25:13I have a way I want things to be and
- 00:25:15they're not that way to me that is a
- 00:25:17negative experience well since I already
- 00:25:19told you things are going to be the way
- 00:25:20they are and what you want is this tiny
- 00:25:22little sliver what's the probability of
- 00:25:25all the events that could possibly
- 00:25:26happen that the one you want more than
- 00:25:28anything things to be the one that
- 00:25:29happens you must win the lottery every
- 00:25:31moment so therefore that's not terrible
- 00:25:33the terrible part is if it doesn't
- 00:25:35happen here people go out and play the
- 00:25:36lottery now I don't care I'm just
- 00:25:38playing the lottery all right that's not
- 00:25:39true when the balls are coming up or the
- 00:25:42number I don't know how they do it when
- 00:25:43the numbers are coming up their heart's
- 00:25:45beating all kind of and then when they
- 00:25:46don't get the number they go oh damn
- 00:25:49they say something
- 00:25:51dirty okay and and then they when the
- 00:25:53next time they go and they see lottery
- 00:25:55tickets they feel either good or bad
- 00:25:57right and if they see the person who won
- 00:25:59they hate them they get jealous you made
- 00:26:01a mess of yourself when the odds were
- 00:26:03what are they one to 100 million to one
- 00:26:07that's what you do every moment of your
- 00:26:09life you have a way you want it to be
- 00:26:11you have a way you don't want it to be
- 00:26:13the way you want it to be is so slim and
- 00:26:15narrow it's ridiculous therefore
- 00:26:16anything else that happens makes you
- 00:26:18feel bad therefore you feel bad all the
- 00:26:20time this is why you're drowning this is
- 00:26:22why you're not okay inside and the
- 00:26:24answer if you listen to your mind is get
- 00:26:26it the way you want
- 00:26:28go out there and try harder okay you
- 00:26:31just pick the wrong wife get another one
- 00:26:33whatever the heck it is it's just
- 00:26:34something's wrong outside fix it you'll
- 00:26:37be okay inside so that's the whole
- 00:26:39Direction Where Humanity goes and look
- 00:26:42at the result everybody's fighting with
- 00:26:44each other the politics is absurd
- 00:26:45countries are fight it's just War it's
- 00:26:48War all the time why would it not be
- 00:26:51when every single one of the seven and a
- 00:26:53half billion of you is at war with life
- 00:26:56I don't care what language you speak I
- 00:26:58country you're with you have a way you
- 00:26:59want it to be and it's not that way and
- 00:27:01you wake up every morning determined to
- 00:27:04protect yourself from what could go
- 00:27:06wrong and fight for what you want and
- 00:27:08and your Society tells you that's
- 00:27:09exactly how you should be just be good
- 00:27:11at it and the people who win they're
- 00:27:14great right I always like the picture I
- 00:27:15saw a picture once really I made an
- 00:27:17impression on me right it was in 1929
- 00:27:20when the market crashed and they were
- 00:27:21wearing suits as they jumped out of the
- 00:27:24there were pictures of them falling out
- 00:27:25of the windows these are your Elite
- 00:27:28these are the successful people in your
- 00:27:30Society I don't think so if a stock
- 00:27:33price can go like this and they're
- 00:27:34throwing themselves out of Windows I
- 00:27:36don't think that's very healthy what
- 00:27:38about you in other words the only reason
- 00:27:41I was okay is I was temporarily getting
- 00:27:45what I wanted people respected me I had
- 00:27:48money the future looked bright because I
- 00:27:51had what I wanted the moment I wasn't
- 00:27:53getting what I wanted boy did it change
- 00:27:56didn't it that's not the answer to how
- 00:27:59to be okay I didn't mean to be so
- 00:28:01long-winded but I hope you followed me
- 00:28:03there is no win in that game but does
- 00:28:06that mean I can't be okay no it's way
- 00:28:08simpler than that come all the way back
- 00:28:12and
- 00:28:13realize I'm okay when I get what I want
- 00:28:16I'm not okay when I don't get what I
- 00:28:18want I open and I close well maybe we
- 00:28:20need to work with that Buddhists talk
- 00:28:23about working at the root that's the
- 00:28:25root of the problem you only know how to
- 00:28:27be okay when you get what you want and
- 00:28:30you're really not okay when you either
- 00:28:32don't get what you want or get what you
- 00:28:33don't want maybe we need to work at that
- 00:28:36that's the inner work that's meditation
- 00:28:40that's yoga that's spirituality it's
- 00:28:42called inner work instead of outer work
- 00:28:44of trying to make everything in the
- 00:28:46world match your garbage why don't we
- 00:28:48work on it you mean I can work on that
- 00:28:50yeah you can work on that right let's
- 00:28:52start with the simplest why did you
- 00:28:54decide what you like and dislike we
- 00:28:56already said so because you had past
- 00:28:58experiences those past experiences left
- 00:29:00Impressions on you either positive or
- 00:29:02negative and basically now you're trying
- 00:29:04to match them again all right I did that
- 00:29:06quickly but you see that right well
- 00:29:08maybe we shouldn't store those past
- 00:29:10experiences well I can't not have them I
- 00:29:12didn't say anything about not having
- 00:29:13them somebody walks up to you looks at
- 00:29:15you and says God are you sick you look
- 00:29:17terrible you're not sick at all thought
- 00:29:20you were doing thought you were doing
- 00:29:21well because I thought I was feeling
- 00:29:23pretty good about things right well
- 00:29:24that's not really nice is it I don't
- 00:29:26feel real good thanks a lot all right
- 00:29:29okay now if they stand right there and
- 00:29:32keep saying it to you over and over
- 00:29:34again for the next three to four years I
- 00:29:36understand what that that's problematic
- 00:29:38that's going to get you depressed that's
- 00:29:40a bad thing but if they walk by and say
- 00:29:43are you doing okay you don't look so
- 00:29:44good you kind of peek it right and frail
- 00:29:47something go wrong really what happened
- 00:29:48in your life so then they walk by they
- 00:29:51walk by and that's that right well I

- 00:29:56how about that that's how people should
- 00:29:57talk to you you stop making it natural

- 00:30:03you it was one event in the universe

- 00:30:07here right it feels bad no question
- 00:30:10that's fine feels bad but when they stop
- 00:30:12saying it why does it still feel bad why
- 00:30:16does it feel bad all day why does it
- 00:30:18feel bad next year why does it feel bad
- 00:30:20now that everybody walks up to you and
- 00:30:21says oh excuse me can I talk to you
- 00:30:25no and rock it's called Rock how
- 00:30:28neuronic you want to get it's all based
- 00:30:30upon whether you keep that inside of you
- 00:30:34keep what the bad experience it was a
- 00:30:36bad experience wasn't it right do you
- 00:30:39have to keep that inside of you some
- 00:30:42philosophies instead there say well you
- 00:30:44know it's a bad experience happened to
- 00:30:45you it it Mars you for life you know you
- 00:30:48just have to find a way to cope with it
- 00:30:50right that is not what yoga says that is
- 00:30:52not the truth what it says is you
- 00:30:55resisted that didn't you you didn't like
- 00:30:58it so much that you resisted it inside
- 00:31:02you used hands to push it away he got
- 00:31:04talk to me like that I talking to me
- 00:31:06like that and you don't understand when
- 00:31:08you resisted you kept it it would have
- 00:31:10passed through everything passes through
- 00:31:11the trees pass by The Cars pass by
- 00:31:14people pass until you do something with
- 00:31:16it the water flows by until you put a
- 00:31:19rock in the way then it creates edies
- 00:31:21and currents and keep screwing things up
- 00:31:24right if you resist the event that took
- 00:31:27place even though it's not comfortable

- 00:31:30it you can experience not comfortable
- 00:31:33you can experience not comfortable
- 00:31:35without resisting it resistance makes it
- 00:31:38worse if you go through childbirth
- 00:31:41that's not a oh my God I can't even
- 00:31:42think about it right that's a very
- 00:31:43painful you know getting the ship out of
- 00:31:45the bottle that's serious stuff all
- 00:31:47right that must hurt a lot all right and
- 00:31:50that's not one of those folden ships
- 00:31:52either all right and so and so you're
- 00:31:55going to go through that right if you
- 00:31:57you resist it's worse they teach you
- 00:32:00lamons they teach you to breathe and
- 00:32:02relax breathe and relax because you
- 00:32:04allow more room it's exactly the same if
- 00:32:08you resist this event that was not
- 00:32:11comfortable inside you tense around it
- 00:32:14when you tense around it you don't give
- 00:32:16it the room to pass through and it
- 00:32:18actually stays in there and that's what
- 00:32:21leaves these Impressions so bad
- 00:32:24experiences don't make Impressions
- 00:32:26they're like ramakrishna once someone as
- 00:32:28ramach Krish the Great Master do yogis
- 00:32:31great Saints get angry or do they have
- 00:32:32problems he said oh yes he said but it's
- 00:32:35like riding on water how long does it
- 00:32:36last you can't even see it was there so

- 00:32:44concrete why the concrete resists the

- 00:32:48substance that's hard so therefore it

- 00:35:56opening makes you feel feel good why do
- 00:35:58you want to not feel good all right I'm
- 00:36:00just trying to get you to do efforts
- 00:36:02that raise yourself the Gita has a
- 00:36:04beautiful line it says one should raise
- 00:36:06the self with self not trample down the
- 00:36:08self and it's using Atman capital A and
- 00:36:11lower a the higher self and the lower
- 00:36:12self your conscious self should raise
- 00:36:15your lower self you have a psychological
- 00:36:17mess in there a little baby you
- 00:36:19shouldn't be given into it you should be

- 00:36:32years I'm an older lady for 50 years
- 00:36:35I've read everything there is I studied
- 00:36:36this that and the other thing I read the
- 00:36:37untel soul and for some reason I got it
- 00:36:40and immediately my life changed that's
- 00:36:42how long it takes right now you are
- 00:36:45using your will to keep your garbage she
- 00:36:48will not talk to me like that I'm not
- 00:36:49going to put up with that no one should
- 00:36:51treat me like this this is Absol
- 00:36:52ridiculous I don't have to put up with
- 00:36:53this you're using your will to keep your
- 00:36:56garbage the moment you catch on and say
- 00:36:59I don't want somebody else to be able to
- 00:37:01bring me down especially somebody who's
- 00:37:02not as conscious as I am why would I let
- 00:37:04somebody who's not as conscious as I am
- 00:37:06who hasn't meditated hasn't done their
- 00:37:07work behave in some stupid way and that
- 00:37:10affects me and brings me down I ain't
- 00:37:12doing it okay then you raise yourself
- 00:37:14you work with yourself how do you do
- 00:37:16that don't start with the big stuff do
- 00:37:19not start with the fact that your
- 00:37:20ex-husband's still locked up inside of
- 00:37:22you and every time you hear his name it
- 00:37:24freaks you out don't start with that why
- 00:37:27because that's not how you solve it you
- 00:37:29solve it by doing the following you know
- 00:37:32I don't understand I'm so sensitive and
- 00:37:36picky If somebody walks up to me and
- 00:37:38stands you know two feet away I'm fine
- 00:37:40but if it's stand a foot and a half oh
- 00:37:42make I get all weird I got are weird and
- 00:37:44then when they walk away I don't like
- 00:37:46them so okay maybe we can work with that
- 00:37:49that's not so powerful is it right maybe
- 00:37:51maybe you could let it be a foot and a
- 00:37:53half instead of two feet let's just
- 00:37:56little by little let it get a little
- 00:37:58closer not much maybe even 1 11 in I'm
- 00:38:02begging you it's the lwh hanging fruit
- 00:38:05where you'll stay conscious and you can
- 00:38:07start to work with yourself just like
- 00:38:09when you play the piano you don't start
- 00:38:11with Mozart you start with the scales
- 00:38:14you practice that's what you need to do
- 00:38:16you need to practice letting go that is
- 00:38:20spirituality the act of practicing how
- 00:38:24to open back up after you closed a
- 00:38:26little bit just a little bit and how to
- 00:38:29stay open when there was this tendency
- 00:38:32to close those are where you work right
- 00:38:34at that moment so if somebody walks up
- 00:38:37right and you know they tend to take
- 00:38:39your space that person tends to stay a
- 00:38:40little too close and you haven't been
- 00:38:41comfortable in the past now they walk up
- 00:38:44immediately right it's okay low hanging
- 00:38:47fruit what's low hanging fruit the only
- 00:38:49reason it's bothering you is it's
- 00:38:50bothering you right you're deciding to
- 00:38:53make it bother you you have decided I'm
- 00:38:55not okay with this therefore I'm not
- 00:38:57okay with it how about we reverse that
- 00:39:00pattern so that now the moment that
- 00:39:02person starts to walk up I immediately

- 00:39:08affirmations whatever it is right I
- 00:39:10immediately click back to I'm going to
- 00:39:12use this to go to God I'm going to use
- 00:39:14this to practice being able to handle
- 00:39:16something that if I can handle it I'm
- 00:39:18fine and there's no reason not to right
- 00:39:21what do you do they walk up you're now
- 00:39:23you it's called being conscious being
- 00:39:25centered you're clear clear you're there
- 00:39:29what does that mean there you're there
- 00:39:30in a seat of clarity instead of getting
- 00:39:32involved in the garbage that's starting
- 00:39:34to come up inside of you the reactive
- 00:39:36garbage doesn't mean it doesn't start
- 00:39:37coming up but you stay above it how
- 00:39:40breathe relax I have found that and yoga
- 00:39:44teaches it it's the essence of yoga that
- 00:39:47relaxation if you'll relax around the
- 00:39:50tendency to close it doesn't close as
- 00:39:53much or as fast or even at all cuz you
- 00:39:55gave it the room it's used to he walks
- 00:39:58up a little too close your heart starts
- 00:40:00to close you starty everything gets
- 00:40:02weird in there you start resisting and
- 00:40:04you're there it is man you can't wait
- 00:40:05till he leaves you better watch what you
- 00:40:07say also you got caught so you're not
- 00:40:10there in the place of clarity you got
- 00:40:12involved in your reactive reaction all
- 00:40:15right instead you remind
- 00:40:18yourself to Mantra breathing talk to
- 00:40:21yourself I don't care that's your
- 00:40:22business you know it's private in there
- 00:40:24you do your own thing but basically stay
- 00:40:27stay clear stay conscious the reaction
- 00:40:31is going to take place relax just relax
- 00:40:34and people sit there and say how can I
- 00:40:36relax when it's getting tense inside
- 00:40:39until you understand that that's
- 00:40:40perfectly reasonable to relax when it's
- 00:40:43tense inside you're having a massage
- 00:40:45it's your first massage you've ever had
- 00:40:47it's a very good masseuse they're right
- 00:40:49in tune with your body and they go right
- 00:40:51for the part that hurts like hell and
- 00:40:54they're going there and they're
- 00:40:54massaging and all of a sudden they hit
- 00:40:56that spot and you freak you almost hit
- 00:40:58them you go Theus is going to say to you
- 00:41:00just just relax just relax let me work
- 00:41:03there just relax what are you going to
- 00:41:04say no I can't it's only by relaxing
- 00:41:08through it that you're going to release
- 00:41:09the cause of the tension it is exactly
- 00:41:12the same inside there is no difference
- 00:41:16it can start to get reactive inside and
- 00:41:18be uncomfortable you get to relax and I
- 00:41:21am highly advising you to learn to do so
- 00:41:23when you can relax in the face of the
- 00:41:25reaction you left it room to pass
- 00:41:28through and that's all it takes in the
- 00:41:30end if you can keep relaxing around
- 00:41:33everything that closes up inside of you
- 00:41:37you're going to change every single day
- 00:41:39every day you will be a new person
- 00:41:41you'll be sitting there saying wow this
- 00:41:42used to bother me now all of a sudden
- 00:41:44you know somebody walks up somebody else
- 00:41:46walks up you don't even notice you don't
- 00:41:47even notice that they're a foot and a
- 00:41:49half away wow this is neat okay somebody
- 00:41:52your husband or wife comes home after
- 00:41:54work and they had a bad day and you were
- 00:41:56all excited about coming home me kind of
- 00:41:57in an open space and made something
- 00:41:59romantic they walk in the door say I
- 00:42:01can't do anything today I'm I'm in a
- 00:42:03band mood and they walk in they close
- 00:42:04the door woo that's not so much fun is
- 00:42:06it all right so what Let It Go Let It Go
- 00:42:10people get to have bad days doesn't mean
- 00:42:12anything does it you sure didn't feel
- 00:42:15good disappointing whatever let it go I
- 00:42:18dare you I dare you you wait till you
- 00:42:21see what happens when you make the
- 00:42:23meaning of your life to raise yourself
- 00:42:27to not let the lowest part of your being
- 00:42:30run your life right now it's hard to
- 00:42:33imagine isn't it because you're very
- 00:42:35sensitive you got a lot of reactive
- 00:42:36stuff and it's bad enough you're closed
- 00:42:38to what happened now you're closed to
- 00:42:39being closed and your whole mind starts
- 00:42:42doesn't it he's not going to talk to me
- 00:42:44like that I have put up with that that's
- 00:42:45ridiculous did you see what they did you
- 00:42:47start telling everybody did you see what
- 00:42:48she did you're just cementing it inside
- 00:42:51of you you're making it be a big deal
- 00:42:54right instead of fine and Know There's 7
- 00:42:58and A2 billion people on the planet
- 00:42:59Earth I just met one and you just learn
- 00:43:02to let go let go let go practice with
- 00:43:06the tiny stuff I told you the ultimate
- 00:43:08is the driver in front of you who's
- 00:43:09driving 10 miles hour below the speed
- 00:43:11limit you're actually talking to them if
- 00:43:13you're like me come on you see there's a
- 00:43:15sign you see the sign they don't hear
- 00:43:17you all you're doing is making yourself
- 00:43:19uptight there's no benefit to this use
- 00:43:23every see I don't teach you how to
- 00:43:25meditate there are lots of techniques
- 00:43:26for meditation you use them it's good to
- 00:43:28do but don't tell me I don't teach
- 00:43:29techniques it's just my technique is so
- 00:43:31Universal you can't even hear us the
- 00:43:32technique which is every single second
- 00:43:34of your life let go not just on the
- 00:43:37meditation pillow on the meditation
- 00:43:38pillow you're doing your practices
- 00:43:40practicing for what this until you get
- 00:43:42to the point that you are willing to say
- 00:43:45it's not that I want to go deep and have
- 00:43:46a nice meditation I don't even want to
- 00:43:49have to meditate I want to be so
- 00:43:50freaking high that there's no difference
- 00:43:52between 3 hours of meditation and work
- 00:43:55and this and that and kids and doing the
- 00:43:58taxes and every single thing it's just
- 00:44:01all high it's high it's fun it's
- 00:44:04exciting I'm sitting on a planet Earth
- 00:44:06sping in the middle of nowhere it's a
- 00:44:08ball and this is how you get and you're
- 00:44:11able to do that if you will take every
- 00:44:14moment of your life and I'm not
- 00:44:15exaggerating every moment of your life
- 00:44:18especially the simple ones that you're
- 00:44:20causing yourself trouble how do I
- 00:44:22measure simple if they wasn't bothering
- 00:44:24you there'd be nothing to do there too
- 00:44:27many people in the elevator if it wasn't
- 00:44:28bothering you there's nothing to do
- 00:44:30about it is there oh my God there's
- 00:44:31traffic if it's not bothering you
- 00:44:33there's nothing to do about it why guess
- 00:44:34there's really nothing to do about it
- 00:44:35anyways right you just decide either I
- 00:44:38experience it or I be bothered by it
- 00:44:40decide not to bother yourself that's my
- 00:44:43spiritual path live in there become
- 00:44:45conscious and decide to stop bothering
- 00:44:47yourself and what will happen is things
- 00:44:50that happen won't leave these
- 00:44:51Impressions inside of you you'll find
- 00:44:53out that more and more moments are okay
- 00:44:54with you why because you said they were
- 00:44:56enjoy the weather what weather all of it
- 00:44:59if it's hot it's hot if it's cold it's
- 00:45:00cold if it's windy it's windy if it's
- 00:45:01rainy it's rainy if it's bomy it's bomy
- 00:45:04enjoy it why you'll enjoy life more if
- 00:45:07you enjoy the weather right
- 00:45:10change I've been telling you all lately
- 00:45:12that we you should go visit it we we
- 00:45:15were involved in the new Chapel in the
- 00:45:17new hospital the uh cardio neural
- 00:45:20hospital and it's it's called the
- 00:45:21sanctuary of wisdom and it's very
- 00:45:23beautiful you should go in there and see
- 00:45:25it people do they go to the hospital
- 00:45:26just to see it but it it has quotes from
- 00:45:29very wise people and roomy is one of
- 00:45:31them and there's a table that has a
- 00:45:34beautiful quote carved around the table
- 00:45:36the edge of the table and it says
- 00:45:38yesterday I was clever so I wanted to
- 00:45:40change the world today I'm wise so I
- 00:45:43want to change
- 00:45:45myself that's everything that's the
- 00:45:48entire spiritual path in one little
- 00:45:50phrase you either out there trying to
- 00:45:53fight with the world and everyone in it
- 00:45:55to make it match your screwed up stuff
- 00:45:57you have inside or you have decided to
- 00:46:00clean out inside and you have that
- 00:46:02opportunity every second of your life
- 00:46:04you understand that you're you're going
- 00:46:05to freak out when you find out that
- 00:46:06everything bothers you right that's
- 00:46:09that's you know when they come to me and
- 00:46:10say Mickey since I heard your talk I'm
- 00:46:12doing way worse than I was before since
- 00:46:15I started practicing witness
- 00:46:16Consciousness I am really screwed up
- 00:46:18it's like everything's bothering me
- 00:46:20welcome to noticing what's going on
- 00:46:21inside work on it work on it all right
- 00:46:25if you do this you you will raise
- 00:46:27yourself and if you raise yourself you
- 00:46:29will raise everybody else some people s
- 00:46:31they say but isn't that selfish to work
- 00:46:33on yourself no it's not selfish to work
- 00:46:35on yourself if you're out there
- 00:46:37polluting the world right let's say
- 00:46:39first stop polluting it before we worry
- 00:46:41about everybody else is doing and you
- 00:46:42are polluting it if you're not okay
- 00:46:44inside I guarantee you what you do
- 00:46:46outside is hurting other people if
- 00:46:48you're okay inside and I'm going to stop
- 00:46:50here if you're okay inside it doesn't
- 00:46:52mean you don't work with the outside you
- 00:46:54go to work just like everybody else you
- 00:46:55your family whatever it is everything
- 00:46:57the same the only difference is your
- 00:46:59motive I'm okay inside so from the
- 00:47:01moment I wake up in the morning to the
- 00:47:02moment I go to bed at night I'm okay
- 00:47:04it's beautiful inside it's fun it's
- 00:47:06exciting can little things happen
- 00:47:07they're not so comfortable absolutely
- 00:47:09they last two seconds a little pin prick
- 00:47:11all right and you let go and you're
- 00:47:12you're fine so now when you interact
- 00:47:14with the outside it's not because you're
- 00:47:16trying to make it be what you want
- 00:47:17because you don't have any of those and
- 00:47:19it's not because you're trying to make
- 00:47:20it not be what you don't want because
- 00:47:22those are fun those are challenging
- 00:47:24there's always going to be some stuff
- 00:47:25you don't want all right so exciting
- 00:47:28well why are you interacting because
- 00:47:29it's
- 00:47:30fun why are you going to work because
- 00:47:33I'm trying to contribute not to make
- 00:47:35money so I go on a vacation why are you
- 00:47:37in a relationship because I feel love I
- 00:47:40Feel Love For What Happens the
- 00:47:41relationship ends or they die or they
- 00:47:43leave and I'll still feel love love is
- 00:47:46my natural state and so now you come out
- 00:47:48into this world and you bring light you
- 00:47:50bring joy you bring inspiration you you
- 00:47:53don't have to teach you are a teacher
- 00:47:54your being is teaching people start
- 00:47:56start seeing you can handle situations
- 00:47:58they can't right I don't care in the
- 00:48:00business World relationship world
- 00:48:01doesn't matter right other people are
- 00:48:02freaking out you're not that's a very
- 00:48:04good teaching all right people will look
- 00:48:06up to you they they'll see your strength
- 00:48:08so you develop this core inside please
- 00:48:10I'm begging you if you want to be okay
- 00:48:13this is your work if you think you're
- 00:48:15going to be okay by making everything
- 00:48:16else be the way you want wake up it's
- 00:48:19never worked for anybody the richest
- 00:48:21people in the world are worrying more
- 00:48:22about money than you do the most
- 00:48:24beautiful people in the world are
- 00:48:25worrying about getting old
- 00:48:27the most respected people in the world
- 00:48:28are afraid of losing losing their Edge
- 00:48:31losing respect you're not going to get
- 00:48:33there that way but there is a there you
- 00:48:36can be always okay but it's by doing the
- 00:48:38inner work all right so work on these
- 00:48:42things
- spiritual growth
- inner peace
- meditation
- self-awareness
- personal development
- anxiety
- contentment
- resistance
- mindfulness
- joy
