00:00:00
things at Ubisoft are far worse than I
00:00:02
ever could have imagined after my last
00:00:04
video chronicling the rise and fall of
00:00:06
Ubisoft I had both current and former
00:00:09
Ubisoft developers reach out for comment
00:00:11
today what we're going to be doing is
00:00:12
we're going to be talking about the
00:00:13
issues that the studios face today from
00:00:16
the perspective of their own employees
00:00:18
everything from me to movement
00:00:19
allegations to agenda driven
00:00:22
content I want to contrast the comments
00:00:25
made in these interviews with what we've
00:00:27
seen from Assassin's Creed shadows and
00:00:29
Star Wars Outlaws this company has a
00:00:31
deep rooted leadership issue going as
00:00:34
far to think that the vast majority of
00:00:36
online criticism is just a toxic
00:00:38
minority of Gamers this company and its
00:00:41
leadership think that they are on the
00:00:43
righteous path little do they know it's
00:00:46
a dead end Assassin's Creed Shadows has
00:00:49
been steeped in controversy and
00:00:50
criticism since its initial reveal
00:00:52
online discourse surrounding the game
00:00:54
has been almost entirely negative with
00:00:56
long-term fans of the franchise General
00:00:58
audience and Japanese audience is up in
00:01:00
arms over the creative Liberties that
00:01:02
Ubisoft has taken with the depiction of
00:01:04
Yas the fabled Black Samurai and feudal
00:01:07
Japan Japanese creators as well as just
00:01:09
random bystanders have taken to Twitter
00:01:12
Tik Tok and YouTube and Reddit voicing
00:01:14
their concerns offended by The Game's
00:01:16
representation of their history and
00:01:18
culture inaccuracies like using Chinese
00:01:20
architecture instead of Japanese the
00:01:22
legitimacy and relevance of the game's
00:01:24
protagonist yasuke and even going as far
00:01:27
as stealing a flag and imagery from the
00:01:29
SEI hor aotai a historical reenactment
00:01:32
group where the company had to formally
00:01:34
apologize for not asking for permission
00:01:36
to use their materials ubisoft's
00:01:38
Adventure into Japanese history has been
00:01:40
a complete disaster and it's only going
00:01:42
to get worse on September 11th of 2024
00:01:44
an article was penned by the New York
00:01:46
Times titled the fight over a black
00:01:48
samurai in Assassin's Creed the writer
00:01:50
Zachary small misrepresents the
00:01:52
controversy and player concerns is
00:01:54
merely those of a toxic minority of
00:01:56
angry Western Gamers and the entire time
00:01:59
he fixates on the race of Yas and not
00:02:01
the broader implications at play in
00:02:03
ubisoft's mishandling and the Frank
00:02:05
disrespect for Japanese culture and
00:02:07
history this article was a collaboration
00:02:10
between Ubisoft and the New York Times
00:02:11
in an attempt to redirect the
00:02:13
discussions surrounding Assassin's Creed
00:02:15
shadows and minimize the feedback the
00:02:17
writer spoke with Kazuma Hashimoto a
00:02:19
consultant and translator for the games
00:02:21
industry later to be found out to be an
00:02:23
employee of Sweet Baby Incorporated that
00:02:25
did consultant work for Ubisoft but
00:02:28
Hashimoto claimed that it was people in
00:02:30
the west who were upset with seeing
00:02:32
yasuke as a Samurai and that many of the
00:02:35
online negative comments were written in
00:02:37
Japanese appeared to be roughly
00:02:39
translated from English effectively hand
00:02:42
waving the increasingly loud and valid
00:02:44
concerns of the Japanese asserting that
00:02:46
it's all made up outrage nothing more
00:02:49
than the gamers war against Dei or
00:02:51
inclusivity in video games I find it all
00:02:54
too poetic and predictable for a AAA
00:02:56
publisher to brush off player concerns
00:02:59
and use their their connections in the
00:03:00
media to try to steer public discourse
00:03:02
and sentiment into a favorable Direction
00:03:04
all these claims made by the New York
00:03:06
Times as well as other writers are
00:03:08
patently false you can see the
00:03:10
criticisms of ubisoft's recent releases
00:03:12
and the future release in Assassin's
00:03:14
Creed Shadows everywhere it's impossible
00:03:17
to ignore videos and promotional
00:03:19
material ratioed by dislikes and
00:03:21
comments in Mass numbers videos like
00:03:23
mine and many others reaching widespread
00:03:25
appeal because we have that many people
00:03:27
that agree or share similar opinions
00:03:30
with that said I couldn't imagine that
00:03:31
it was possible for anyone to ignore
00:03:33
this level of feedback and Ubisoft has
00:03:36
to be seeing it so I spoke with a few
00:03:38
developers from Ubisoft to shed some
00:03:40
light on these issues I started off by
00:03:42
asking how Ubisoft internalizes and
00:03:45
discusses General criticism from players
00:03:47
and the rest of the industry whether
00:03:49
that's its repetitive design agenda
00:03:50
driven content or predictable games they
00:03:54
responded saying at a high level they
00:03:56
rarely talk about it at a project level
00:03:58
they brush it off as toxic G talk as
00:04:00
asmin gold correctly pointed out in a
00:04:02
video of his Ubisoft is filled with
00:04:04
toxic positivity that prevents any
00:04:06
growth I then ask what about the
00:04:08
Japanese community's backlash over
00:04:10
Assassin's Creed Shadows it's obvious
00:04:12
that they haven't done their research
00:04:13
and even the smallest details are going
00:04:15
to be noticed by a culture that's as
00:04:17
proud as the Japanese they responded by
00:04:19
saying that the criticisms haven't been
00:04:20
talked about and they've only issued
00:04:22
demands that we mustn't engage with
00:04:25
discussion on that topic publicly
00:04:27
meaning everything that we've set up
00:04:28
into this point all all the criticism
00:04:30
that we've had over the years for
00:04:31
Ubisoft games even that of the industry
00:04:34
itself has fallen on deaf ears I don't
00:04:36
know if it's sad or if it's somewhat
00:04:39
yeah you know it's somewhat cathartic to
00:04:41
have that validated I mean it's the main
00:04:43
complaint that the vast majority of
00:04:44
Gamers have had over the years which is
00:04:46
that these companies aren't listening to
00:04:48
us in this case I have developers that
00:04:50
are telling me yeah they're not
00:04:52
listening to
00:04:53
you one because they don't want to take
00:04:55
criticism and two because they don't
00:04:57
know how to differentiate bad from good
00:04:59
criticism
00:05:00
I think this is my patented catchphrase
00:05:02
by now but when you have this much
00:05:04
negative discourse surrounding your
00:05:05
games you need to be listening
00:05:08
regardless of whether or not it's good
00:05:09
or bad feedback in your eyes regardless
00:05:11
if you align with these people's
00:05:13
political beliefs or social political
00:05:14
beliefs or whatever it might be none of
00:05:17
that matters when you have your games on
00:05:19
fire as much as Ubisoft games have been
00:05:21
lately you need to put those fires out
00:05:24
somehow and the only way that you can do
00:05:26
that is by listening to them and
00:05:27
implementing whatever feedback you
00:05:29
possibly can into your games to make
00:05:31
them
00:05:33
better regardless the other thing is I'm
00:05:37
sorry I am sick of I am disgusted by the
00:05:41
blatant baned virtue over how much they
00:05:45
care about Japanese culture and history
00:05:48
I'm sorry you are bastardizing Japanese
00:05:51
culture and history for profit that's
00:05:53
what you're trying to do here you're not
00:05:55
trying to make a history piece we know
00:05:57
that it's Loosely based on very Loosely
00:06:00
based on Japanese culture and history
00:06:02
look at you guys you put out a Tory gate
00:06:05
figurine a half Tory gate figurine with
00:06:07
your characters on it without knowing
00:06:10
the cultural relevance of the half Tory
00:06:12
gate after Hiroshima and Nagasaki do you
00:06:16
have any idea what that means to these
00:06:18
people what's wrong with you at the end
00:06:21
of the day it all comes down to
00:06:23
leadership when you look at ubisoft's
00:06:25
messaging the lackluster delivery of
00:06:26
titles like xde and Star Wars Outlaws
00:06:29
the inaccuracies and screw-ups with
00:06:31
Assassin's Creed Shadows you see a
00:06:33
developer that has no clear plan or
00:06:35
vision for what players want what good
00:06:38
games look like or how to even do their
00:06:41
job I took the time to talk to the
00:06:43
Ubisoft developers about workplace
00:06:45
culture about the initiative that
00:06:47
they've taken for diversity hiring and
00:06:49
what happens behind the scenes at
00:06:51
Ubisoft and it's wild to see how
00:06:54
accurate some of the assumptions that
00:06:55
have been made by myself and others now
00:06:58
continuing my convers with one of the
00:07:00
developers I wanted to find more about
00:07:01
the workplace structure and management
00:07:04
and seeing as though the company has had
00:07:06
initiatives that been put in place to
00:07:08
make the workplace a little bit more
00:07:10
diverse I asked what benefits have you
00:07:12
seen is there more diversity in thought
00:07:14
or is it creating a more one-sided
00:07:16
environment they said that so far the
00:07:18
initiative hasn't had any impact on the
00:07:20
team that I'm a part of however it's
00:07:22
clear that some topics are taboo what
00:07:25
happened is now that people end up in a
00:07:27
meeting with HR for trivial stuff not
00:07:29
adding smiley faces to a message or
00:07:31
adding an exclamation point at the end
00:07:33
of a message because some people
00:07:35
reporting it for harassment one of the
00:07:37
things that wasn't in your video is that
00:07:39
Ubisoft had some controversy During the
00:07:41
me2 period letting go of a manager in
00:07:43
high positions and some left on their
00:07:46
own because they knew they'd be
00:07:47
discovered I then asked what was the
00:07:49
impact of this in the workplace they
00:07:51
responded by saying the editorial
00:07:53
Direction and overall mindset shifted
00:07:55
from the boys club to Safe content
00:07:58
reaching for pling characters like K and
00:08:01
Star Wars is a perfect example of this
00:08:03
the idea to have beautiful characters
00:08:05
such as balers gate or Uncharted is met
00:08:08
with distrust the developer shared
00:08:10
sentiment saying that safe content also
00:08:12
leads to limited opportunities on the
00:08:14
gameplay side even for Star Wars we had
00:08:16
to work with Disney which would have
00:08:17
shut down most attempts at depicting a
00:08:20
true criminal underworld with cruelty
00:08:22
and drama when you put this developer
00:08:24
perspective in line with the recent
00:08:25
failures and controversies at Ubisoft or
00:08:28
any AAA developer at this this point it
00:08:30
all makes sense an overcorrection in
00:08:32
sensitivity brought on by the boys club
00:08:34
days that many studios experienced
00:08:36
during their early years as such many
00:08:38
games today lack the teeth and grit that
00:08:41
players crave because those things are
00:08:43
seen as problematic or unsafe to make in
00:08:45
the workplace don't use emojis or
00:08:48
exclamation points you could offend
00:08:50
someone holy [ __ ] how soft have we
00:08:53
gotten it reminds me of the time where
00:08:55
the hell divers 2 Community manager went
00:08:58
on a band spree on their disc Discord
00:08:59
because players were using a throwup
00:09:01
emoji on furry art that was posted in
00:09:03
their Discord sometimes people need to
00:09:05
be offended while I'm going to try to
00:09:07
resist the pull yourself up by your
00:09:09
bootstraps tie raid friction on some
00:09:12
levels is necessary in life now that
00:09:14
doesn't mean that people should be
00:09:15
allowed to openly harass others but
00:09:17
there are major issues that arise when
00:09:19
you have emojis that can get you fired
00:09:22
this overreaction and overcorrection
00:09:24
leads to a workplace that is actively
00:09:26
hostile towards freedom of thought
00:09:28
expression and criticism
00:09:29
as one of the interviewees mentioned
00:09:31
earlier they noticed a culture of toxic
00:09:33
positivity from my perspective toxic
00:09:36
positivity is fake people saying fake
00:09:38
things and in the case of Ubisoft making
00:09:40
fake products nobody wants to live their
00:09:42
entire life being terrified that someone
00:09:45
is going to misunderstand them and when
00:09:47
you're at a studio like Ubisoft and
00:09:49
you're not even allowed to make
00:09:51
characters attractive otherwise it might
00:09:53
upset people at the studio you have a
00:09:55
problem this culture of fear and forced
00:09:58
uniformity stifles creativity Innovation
00:10:01
it's no wonder that Ubisoft is
00:10:03
struggling to produce anything of real
00:10:05
substance when their own developers are
00:10:07
walking on eggshells more worried about
00:10:09
HR complaints than creating
00:10:11
groundbreaking games how can you make
00:10:13
bold impactful content when every idea
00:10:16
is scrutinized for being too risky too
00:10:19
offensive or too unsafe it's a workplace
00:10:22
where mediocrity is rewarded and we're
00:10:24
pushing boundaries the very things that
00:10:26
games are supposed to do is seen as a
00:10:28
liability
00:10:30
this workplace culture this overreaction
00:10:32
and overcorrection has infected just
00:10:34
about every single industry that's out
00:10:36
there I worked in construction for seven
00:10:38
years up until last December and the
00:10:40
company that I worked for was more
00:10:41
afraid of HR issues than they were of
00:10:43
injuries we worked with hydrogen sulfide
00:10:46
and hydrogen cyanide gases that if
00:10:49
released could kill half of a
00:10:52
city you know we've discussed modern
00:10:54
audiences the mythical magical modern
00:10:57
audiences and soft modern game we found
00:10:59
the audience it's the people that are
00:11:01
running these companies nowadays you
00:11:02
have folks that are walking around on
00:11:05
eggshells afraid to say anything
00:11:07
anecdotal but just like a few weeks ago
00:11:09
or a month ago or so I remember I was
00:11:11
live streaming and instinctively I said
00:11:14
something was [ __ ] I'm a millennial
00:11:17
we all grew up saying it it's a product
00:11:19
of my upbringing say what you will I
00:11:22
didn't say it consciously it just came
00:11:24
out and one of my Chatters pops up and
00:11:26
says how often do you say that word
00:11:29
I Bann the [ __ ] out of them get the [ __ ]
00:11:32
out of here with that are you kidding me
00:11:35
people that are out there that are
00:11:36
waiting prepared to be offended I'm sick
00:11:40
of it you cannot have workplaces that
00:11:43
are out there where every single thing
00:11:45
that you say you have to watch every
00:11:47
word that comes out of your mouth
00:11:48
otherwise it could be your livelihood
00:11:50
and I'm not again I'm not saying that
00:11:52
you can walk around saying anything
00:11:54
that's not what this is everybody knows
00:11:57
I think that's the most frustrating part
00:11:58
when you have these kind of
00:11:59
conversations is that you know exactly
00:12:02
what I'm talking about you know exactly
00:12:05
what I'm talking about but the
00:12:06
intellectual dishonesty around this kind
00:12:08
of thing is just it's [ __ ]
00:12:12
mindboggling we have workplace
00:12:14
environments that actively work against
00:12:16
any type of creative or constructive
00:12:18
criticism that's how you get games like
00:12:21
this this is how games and products are
00:12:23
being ruined over time is because
00:12:25
nobody's allowed to criticize things
00:12:27
properly you have places you have people
00:12:28
in the work that are like ah I don't
00:12:30
think that these characters are going to
00:12:31
be received well by the fans but they're
00:12:33
not allowed to say anything about it
00:12:35
they can't say it's not hot enough it's
00:12:37
not masculine enough they can't say that
00:12:39
because it's problematic to say
00:12:43
so tame and safe are the antonyms of
00:12:48
exciting and daring balers Gate 3 was
00:12:52
exciting and
00:12:54
daring Star Wars Outlaws payman safe
00:12:59
whether it's their poor job at
00:13:00
representing Japan or the trailers of
00:13:02
Assassin's Creed there are clearly
00:13:04
levels of incompetency at work as many
00:13:07
players have pointed out in the game
00:13:08
trailers the promotional materials that
00:13:10
are meant to sell the game you can see
00:13:12
frame rate issues texture issues poor
00:13:14
Collision detection weapons clipping
00:13:16
through characters and more
00:13:18
controversies aside this game doesn't
00:13:20
look like it's ready for launch and in
00:13:21
fact it's developer just recently came
00:13:24
out and cancelled their appearance at
00:13:26
Tokyo game show and announced that the
00:13:28
game would be delayed until February
00:13:30
along with the delay Ubisoft CEO
00:13:32
recently issued a memo to their
00:13:34
employees that ended up getting leaked
00:13:35
publicly and it showcases just how out
00:13:37
of touch this company is with their
00:13:39
players rather than acknowledging their
00:13:41
real missteps they're clinging to critic
00:13:42
scores pointing out Star Wars Outlaws
00:13:45
had a solid 76 on Metacritic oh I didn't
00:13:48
know that you were trying to sell the
00:13:49
game to game reviewers that makes a lot
00:13:51
of sense seeing as though that you're
00:13:53
completely ignoring player feedback that
00:13:55
clearly shows that your game is hovering
00:13:56
in mediocrity even worse they believe
00:13:59
that Black Friday sales are somehow
00:14:01
going to magically turn things around
00:14:03
not realizing that no amount of
00:14:05
discounting will make up for a product
00:14:06
that fundamentally misses the mark and
00:14:08
nobody's interested in the memo reads
00:14:10
more like a corporate spin than a
00:14:13
genuine reflection of failure no mention
00:14:15
of the controversies or deeper issues
00:14:17
that are plaguing the company they talk
00:14:19
about how all players want are highly
00:14:20
polished games on launch day when the
00:14:22
truth is players are craving meaningful
00:14:25
risk-taking authentic content things
00:14:28
that Ubisoft hasn't seen in decades even
00:14:31
in their own memo to their own employees
00:14:33
they can't speak frankly about their
00:14:35
mistakes this sanitized messaging shows
00:14:37
just How Deeply disconnected the company
00:14:39
is from the people that it should be
00:14:41
listening to the players interested in
00:14:44
the perspective of the employees who
00:14:46
received this memo I had a few questions
00:14:47
on their thoughts of the messaging and
00:14:49
the leadership of the company I asked
00:14:51
what has been the message from
00:14:53
management to the staff about ubisoft's
00:14:55
declining sales what do they believe is
00:14:57
the reason behind it they responded the
00:15:00
fun fact is they don't talk much about
00:15:02
it they mainly focus on the fact that
00:15:03
they reach their financial objectives
00:15:05
which are mainly achieved through casual
00:15:07
player sales not the vocal gamer
00:15:09
minority that are sick of what you
00:15:11
described in your video also something
00:15:14
to know is that through the years the
00:15:15
number of management floors has
00:15:16
increased to ridiculous amounts so
00:15:19
communication is often blurry unless
00:15:21
they come directly from HQ and even then
00:15:24
it's almost entirely corpo [ __ ] that
00:15:26
isn't useful in the end I asked another
00:15:29
employee to verify the increase in
00:15:31
management at the company fearing that
00:15:33
this is likely one of the biggest issues
00:15:35
that's facing the company seeing that
00:15:37
lack of clear and Creative Vision they
00:15:40
painted a picture of a company that's
00:15:41
not only overrun with management but
00:15:44
that's passively aggressive about
00:15:45
removing higher paid and talented
00:15:48
employees while slotting in under
00:15:50
skilled and unexperienced management at
00:15:53
a cheaper rate they claim that Ubisoft
00:15:55
as an employer shows little regard for
00:15:57
their developers what happen in practice
00:15:59
is that they essentially push out senior
00:16:01
Engineers promoting Junior Engineers to
00:16:03
senior roles after just a few years of
00:16:06
experience oft times with experience in
00:16:08
just one engine meanwhile experienced
00:16:11
developers with far broader skill sets
00:16:13
are being overlooked this constant cycle
00:16:15
of turnover with inexperienced leaders
00:16:17
leads to noticeable drops in quality
00:16:20
with bugs appearing in their games the
00:16:22
passionate dedicated developers leave
00:16:24
while those who are just going through
00:16:26
the motions stay behind this doesn't
00:16:28
just affect the tech technical quality
00:16:29
of their games but also impacts the
00:16:31
design and creativity for instance
00:16:33
you'll find designers working on FPS
00:16:35
mechanics who have never played in fps
00:16:37
game before or Engineers who don't
00:16:39
understand how the mechanics they're
00:16:40
building are supposed to feel there's a
00:16:42
lack of passion and skill across the
00:16:44
board and the results are obvious that
00:16:47
line about designers working on FPS
00:16:49
games and leading FPS projects struck a
00:16:51
chord with me not long ago Ubisoft
00:16:54
released X defiant a military shooter
00:16:56
that was meant to compete with the likes
00:16:57
of Call of Duty however since the game's
00:16:59
released they've lost the vast majority
00:17:01
of their player base with Ubisoft
00:17:02
claiming that the game isn't dying
00:17:04
despite it reportedly losing 94% of its
00:17:07
players on Xbox why is X defiant ran
00:17:10
into so many issues net code hit
00:17:12
registration and general shooter
00:17:14
gameplay issues common problems that are
00:17:16
normally ironed out well before a game
00:17:18
ever hits the market especially a
00:17:20
shooter its core to the game play if
00:17:22
you're playing a live service shooter
00:17:24
all you do is shoot that's the game play
00:17:27
but when the shooting doesn't work you
00:17:28
don't have a game ubisoft's leadership
00:17:31
is completely disconnected from the
00:17:32
reality of game development and player
00:17:34
expectations the problems stem from a
00:17:36
bloed management structure that's
00:17:38
prioritizing reaching Financial targets
00:17:40
through casual player sales rather than
00:17:42
listening to the core Gaming Community
00:17:44
that's sick of their tired formulas even
00:17:47
their own developers are frustrated as
00:17:49
they watch as talented senior Engineers
00:17:51
are pushed out of the studios and
00:17:53
inexperienced juniors are promoted far
00:17:55
too quickly leading to a noticeable drop
00:17:57
in quality it's no wonder their games
00:18:00
are riddled with bugs and lack any real
00:18:02
Innovation this company is more focused
00:18:04
on appearances rather than creating
00:18:06
meaningful engaging content the quality
00:18:09
of their games doesn't matter as long as
00:18:11
they aren't offending anyone when you
00:18:13
see the issues that plague Assassin's
00:18:14
Creed Shadows the pandering the generic
00:18:16
virtue the lies the coverups and the
00:18:19
lack of understanding of what they're
00:18:20
apparently inspired by when you see how
00:18:23
safe and tame how boring buggy and
00:18:26
soulless Star Wars Outlaws is when you
00:18:28
see how their most anticipated shooter
00:18:30
in ex defiant is riddled with the most
00:18:33
common issues bugs all kinds of
00:18:35
different things that normal Shooters
00:18:37
would never have on day one that's made
00:18:39
by developers and led by developers that
00:18:42
haven't even played an FPS game you see
00:18:45
a studio and a publisher that lacks
00:18:46
integrity and a spine cowards in
00:18:49
leadership roles afraid to loosen their
00:18:51
grip on the wheel developers afraid to
00:18:54
speak out and unable to express any of
00:18:56
their creativity franchises destined for
00:18:59
obscurity Ubisoft isn't just losing its
00:19:02
way it's already lost and the only thing
00:19:04
left is to watch it burn you know it's
00:19:07
crazy to speculate about these kind of
00:19:09
things but it's an entirely different
00:19:10
Beast to find out what you've been
00:19:11
believing this entire time is absolutely
00:19:13
true and I want to take the time to
00:19:16
thank the developers that reached out to
00:19:17
me it was daring for them to do
00:19:19
something like that obviously their
00:19:21
identities are being kept secret for
00:19:23
very obvious reasons most of these folks
00:19:25
could lose their job over having these
00:19:26
kind of discussions but you keep in mind
00:19:29
what's really sad about this is that
00:19:30
there are developers that are working at
00:19:32
these Studios that want to see things
00:19:34
change that want to fix things that see
00:19:36
these obvious issues but they're not
00:19:37
allowed to do anything about it that's
00:19:40
that sucks that's something that all of
00:19:42
us can empathize with I'm pretty sure
00:19:44
that anybody that's watching this video
00:19:45
right now has likely worked with some
00:19:47
level of management that took them in
00:19:49
the direction in the wrong direction and
00:19:52
led them down the wrong
00:19:54
path you know the biggest issue for
00:19:56
Ubisoft is that the damages are already
00:19:58
done their brand is already torched
00:20:01
their name and their reputation is in
00:20:03
shambles by now and looking at looking
00:20:07
and seeing that they have pushed back
00:20:10
Assassin's Creed Shadows it's for
00:20:12
obvious reasons while they're going to
00:20:14
say that it's for fixing issues in the
00:20:16
game There's issues that we saw on the
00:20:18
trailers so that's totally believable
00:20:19
the game likely does need more you know
00:20:22
more time in the oven more than anything
00:20:23
else but outside of that you know I
00:20:27
really think it's just them trying to
00:20:29
distance it from all the bad press
00:20:31
because there's a lot of people that
00:20:32
have been talking about Ubisoft there's
00:20:34
a lot of people that have been talking
00:20:35
about Assassin's Creed shadows and it
00:20:38
doesn't look good and pushing it all the
00:20:40
way to February I don't think any of
00:20:42
that's going to change anything if
00:20:44
anything seeing how often they like to
00:20:46
put their own foot in their mouth when
00:20:47
it comes to Assassin's Creed Shadows
00:20:49
you're just giving me and a bunch of
00:20:50
other content creators more time Farm
00:20:53
you more than anything else I was
00:20:55
talking to one of the developers about
00:20:57
the delay and they're like one of the
00:20:58
thing that one of the things that really
00:21:00
confused the whole group of developers
00:21:02
is that they're like well we need more
00:21:03
time to fix bugs and issues but we're
00:21:06
also going to add more quests and side
00:21:08
content they're like those two things
00:21:10
don't have anything to do with one
00:21:12
another and one creates more
00:21:14
issues this doesn't make any sense and
00:21:18
also you push it to February the month
00:21:22
at Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and
00:21:24
Monster Hunter Wilds release you're
00:21:27
cooked what you doing what are you
00:21:31
doing I don't know man I I want to thank
00:21:33
everybody thank you guys for watching
00:21:34

00:21:44
you guys for that again if it wasn't for

future because I had a great time making
00:21:54
this video this is probably the favorite
