- 00:00:45subhanahu wa tala We Gather to study the
- 00:00:49story of the great companion
- 00:00:58ofd among the
- 00:01:02and there is this
- 00:01:07term which refers to the four famous
- 00:01:13Abdullah when the scholars of Hadith or
- 00:01:17make this reference the idea is that
- 00:01:19this is a strong position that all four
- 00:01:24abdullah's narrate this incident or
- 00:01:26agree upon this position
- 00:01:30who are these four
- 00:01:37ABD he points out that during the time
- 00:01:41of alai wasallam from the companions
- 00:01:44there were over 200
- 00:01:48Abdullah and this honor that the M gave
- 00:01:52to the four Great Abdullah in their
- 00:01:55fields is reserved for
- 00:01:58abdah
- 00:02:07abdd and lastly
- 00:02:12abdah these are the four
- 00:02:15companions now the reason why these four
- 00:02:19were gathered together as the is because
- 00:02:22they were younger and they lived very
- 00:02:24long
- 00:02:25lives and their students were many
- 00:02:30above them was an was another companion
- 00:02:33of s alaihi wasallam also known as
- 00:02:37Abdullah whose name is not included in
- 00:02:40the four not because he narrated little
- 00:02:44or because he wasn't a sign a symbol of
- 00:02:48seniority but rather because he was just
- 00:02:50much older in age and these companions
- 00:02:53lived longer lives and that
- 00:02:58wasd when the narrators of Hadith
- 00:03:01mention the name
- 00:03:03abdah without any
- 00:03:06attribution it commonly refers
- 00:03:10to that when they say Abdullah said this
- 00:03:12or the Hadith is narrated by Abdullah it
- 00:03:15is attributed
- 00:03:19Tod now going back
- 00:03:22to Abdullah IB Omar as you can tell by
- 00:03:26his name he is Abdullah the son of Omar
- 00:03:30and this is referring
- 00:03:35to the great companion of s alai
- 00:03:38wasallam and leader of the
- 00:03:42Muslims abdah accepted Islam at a young
- 00:03:46age and migrated with his father to
- 00:03:50Madina he did not hit the age of puberty
- 00:03:53even after he arrived
- 00:03:57Madina he desired to be enlisted
- 00:04:00for the Battle of
- 00:04:03butam rejected him and it was purely
- 00:04:07based off of his young
- 00:04:10age the first battle that he actually
- 00:04:12participated alongside sahu alai
- 00:04:15wasallam now he's 14 15 years old a
- 00:04:17little older is the Battle of the
- 00:04:21trenches
- 00:04:24the and then after
- 00:04:27that and everything that follows from
- 00:04:29their onwards he is by the side of
- 00:04:31sallallahu alaihi wasallam in all the
- 00:04:33major
- 00:04:35Expeditions his mother along with his
- 00:04:41sister who became later on the wife
- 00:04:45ofam was one person they shared the same
- 00:04:49mother and the same father her name was
- 00:04:53Zab the sister of the
- 00:04:58famous
- 00:05:03story is fascinating and it's
- 00:05:05beautiful he is a symbol of
- 00:05:10Islam he was the standard
- 00:05:13of following the Sunnah
- 00:05:16ofam we will learn from the story of how
- 00:05:21he was a legend when it came to
- 00:05:25generosity when you turn to the chapter
- 00:05:27of worship when it came to the issue of
- 00:05:30Simplicity his students are so many and
- 00:05:33they all narrate these beautiful moments
- 00:05:36for us
- 00:05:37that this was my interaction with him
- 00:05:39this is what I saw in abdah this is how
- 00:05:42he
- 00:05:43worshiped if he missed
- 00:05:46his his students narrate he would not
- 00:05:49sleep for the rest of the night he would
- 00:05:51then spend the rest of the night in
- 00:05:54because he wanted to make up for the
- 00:05:56virtue he missed out on by not praying
- 00:05:59many stories like this
- 00:06:02IM while listing the names of the
- 00:06:05students of one the list goes on and on
- 00:06:11and on for many of the other companions
- 00:06:15when you read in
- 00:06:16the it'll be a few lines maybe a
- 00:06:19paragraph two paragraphs of the names
- 00:06:22but
- 00:06:26for he narrates over two 200
- 00:06:31people
- 00:06:32200 and among them were
- 00:06:35sahaba and among them were also
- 00:06:39great sahab would come and narrate from
- 00:06:42this
- 00:06:42abdah who was younger in age bear in
- 00:06:46mind that at the time
- 00:06:48of which happened in the fourth year
- 00:06:50after migration he was 14 years old so
- 00:06:54by the time sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- 00:06:56passes away he's somewhere around his
- 00:06:582021 years years of age but senior
- 00:07:01companions come to him and they're
- 00:07:03asking him tell us about s Al wasallam
- 00:07:07he narrates narrations regarding how
- 00:07:10sallallahu alaihi wasallam would drink
- 00:07:12water how did the prophet sallallahu
- 00:07:14alaihi wasallam you know what were the
- 00:07:16sun of s alai wasallam even when it came
- 00:07:18to something like relieving oneself
- 00:07:21you'll find the narrations of abdah
- 00:07:24there
- 00:07:25after who is considered among the to be
- 00:07:29the top narrator of Hadith the second
- 00:07:31person whose name is listed is the great
- 00:07:34companion
- 00:07:37abdah a person is
- 00:07:40understood by their students you learn
- 00:07:44so much about a person by studying what
- 00:07:45kind of people they're able to prepare
- 00:07:48what kind of human beings they can
- 00:07:50develop giving a lecture is a nice thing
- 00:07:53writing a book is also a nice thing but
- 00:07:56for longevity for Mass impact
- 00:07:59you need someone at the center who has
- 00:08:02the ability to relate to people and to
- 00:08:05create other great people that was the
- 00:08:08beauty of s alaihi wasallam sah alaihi
- 00:08:12wasallam had amazing lectures and
- 00:08:13amazing talks and every word of his was
- 00:08:16phenomenal but one of the greatest
- 00:08:18miracles of sahu alaih wasallam and the
- 00:08:20greatest gifts to this
- 00:08:22umah was
- 00:08:25the each and every one of them was so
- 00:08:28special
- 00:08:31Fountains of knowledge and wisdom now
- 00:08:34you turn to someone like
- 00:08:37Abdullah and begin to go through the
- 00:08:39list of some of his students and you see
- 00:08:42people like
- 00:08:44hassas you
- 00:08:51see mu
- 00:08:54Muhammad
- 00:08:56Muhammad
- 00:08:58mAh asdi and many others and each of
- 00:09:01these people were giants each name here
- 00:09:04represents a legend a pillar of of of
- 00:09:08knowledge and Islam and at the top of
- 00:09:10this among the many companions who built
- 00:09:13this
- 00:09:14generation also was the name
- 00:09:24ofd now regarding his name there's
- 00:09:28somewhat of a difference of opinion most
- 00:09:30schols agree that his name from birth
- 00:09:32was Abdullah there is another narration
- 00:09:36that one companion narrates that one of
- 00:09:39my friends passed away his name was
- 00:09:42Abdullah ja and he said when it came
- 00:09:46time for burial I was
- 00:09:48there was there and was also there the
- 00:09:52three of us our names were Al which
- 00:09:55means
- 00:09:56disobedient that was our birth name this
- 00:09:58is what what he says sallallahu alaih
- 00:10:01wasallam told us to go into the grave
- 00:10:03and said you are the Servants of Allah
- 00:10:04go into the grave and lower your friend
- 00:10:07so we went into the grave we lowered his
- 00:10:09body and thereafter because the prophet
- 00:10:12referred to us as Abdullah that the
- 00:10:14three of you are Abdullah our names then
- 00:10:16became
- 00:10:19Abdullah many of the M reject this
- 00:10:23narration because uh obviously because
- 00:10:26there are some issues regarding the and
- 00:10:29some of the narrators in theith and what
- 00:10:31is commonly known is that
- 00:10:33abdullah's name was Abdullah from birth
- 00:10:36he was always known as
- 00:10:38Abdullah now if you're wondering why
- 00:10:40would someone name their child
- 00:10:44disobedient among the Arabs having names
- 00:10:46like this was a sign of manly manliness
- 00:10:50and it was a sign that someone was tough
- 00:10:53they had very violent names you know um
- 00:10:57so as was one of them too similarly
- 00:10:59there's another narration that um is not
- 00:11:02authentic but common among some and you
- 00:11:06even see sometimes these statements
- 00:11:08being written in books
- 00:11:11that and brother and sister accepted
- 00:11:15Islam before their own father
- 00:11:20before this was also unlikely because
- 00:11:24that would mean that
- 00:11:27um
- 00:11:30accepted Islam at a very young age and
- 00:11:33the son of the chain to this is also not
- 00:11:36a connected not a narration it's a
- 00:11:42narration narrates one incident he was
- 00:11:45lucky because his sister was the wife
- 00:11:49ofam so because of that he had a unique
- 00:11:52access to the prophet of Allah he was
- 00:11:53able to not only ask questions to
- 00:11:56sallallahu alaihi wasallam directly but
- 00:11:59also use his sister as someone to ask
- 00:12:02questions on his
- 00:12:04behalf he says that people during the
- 00:12:08life of sahu alaihi wasallam would share
- 00:12:10their dreams to the prophet of
- 00:12:12Allah I was young one night I was
- 00:12:14sleeping in the Masid and I saw a dream
- 00:12:16of two angels approaching me and they
- 00:12:18took me to this fire it was terrifying
- 00:12:21it was very scary and you know as they
- 00:12:24brought me close to the fire I started
- 00:12:27saying
- 00:12:29I seek protection with Allah from the
- 00:12:32fire and then the Angels turned to him
- 00:12:35and they said there's nothing to fear
- 00:12:37you have nothing to worry
- 00:12:39about so then he woke up and shared this
- 00:12:41dream
- 00:12:44with who then asked sallallahu alaihi
- 00:12:47wasallam for the
- 00:12:49interpretation and in response to this
- 00:12:52sallallahu alaihi was said one
- 00:12:57statement
- 00:13:00how great of a servant how great of a
- 00:13:02person is Abdullah only if he dedicated
- 00:13:05more time to worshiping Allah during the
- 00:13:07night hours only if he dedicated more
- 00:13:10time to
- 00:13:12I so the narrator
- 00:13:17says
- 00:13:19after said this statement abdah then
- 00:13:23spent very little of his night in sleep
- 00:13:25most of it he spent awake reading Quran
- 00:13:28making Dua and worshiping Allah
- 00:13:30subhanahu wa
- 00:13:31tala
- 00:13:33when was on his
- 00:13:37deathbed he narrates that when was on
- 00:13:40his deathbed I heard him saying we heard
- 00:13:43him saying we heard him saying
- 00:13:48that there are three things that I
- 00:13:50regret a lot in my
- 00:13:52life number
- 00:13:53one I'm going to really regret missing
- 00:13:56out on fasting during the middle of the
- 00:13:58hot
- 00:13:59day there was a pleasure in that staying
- 00:14:03hungry for the sake of Allah the second
- 00:14:06thing that I have regret over as I leave
- 00:14:08this world is the joy and pleasure of
- 00:14:11worshiping Allah in the middle of the
- 00:14:13night knowing that Allah subhanahu wa
- 00:14:16tala gave me to hear the alarm in our
- 00:14:19context to stand up for my bed to have
- 00:14:23the strength to do W to then spend some
- 00:14:26time worshiping Allah that this wasn't
- 00:14:29something that everyone was able to do
- 00:14:31but Allah gave me the to do it this is
- 00:14:34something I'm really going to miss and
- 00:14:36the third thing I wish I had stood up
- 00:14:39against the rebels and stood by the side
- 00:14:44of I really not I really regret not
- 00:14:46being with Ali in the battles by his
- 00:14:50side supporting him and the right cause
- 00:14:52something he lamented over and had
- 00:14:55tremendous regret over even right until
- 00:14:57he passed away
- 00:15:02was
- 00:15:03known by everyone in
- 00:15:06m
- 00:15:08and so many people narrated Hadith from
- 00:15:10him including his own servants including
- 00:15:13his own children
- 00:15:15IM says that the most authentic chain
- 00:15:22of
- 00:15:25Malik Malik IM Malik who narrates from
- 00:15:29na who narrates from this is the most
- 00:15:33authentic chain that exists because each
- 00:15:35of these three three people were giants
- 00:15:38and accepted by all no one made any sort
- 00:15:41of accusation against any of these
- 00:15:43people that their integrity wasn't where
- 00:15:45it should have been that they weren't
- 00:15:48truthful that they were confused people
- 00:15:50that these people didn't have a deep
- 00:15:52understanding of knowledge each of these
- 00:15:54people were the best of their time
- 00:15:57Malik
- 00:16:00uses this quite frequently in
- 00:16:04his when
- 00:16:07narrating that same student of he
- 00:16:17narrates if you were to
- 00:16:19see my
- 00:16:21teacher and how particular and punctual
- 00:16:23he was when it came to following the sun
- 00:16:26of sahu alai wasallam you would say the
- 00:16:29man is lost in
- 00:16:32love he's no longer looking left or
- 00:16:34right he doesn't care about what people
- 00:16:37see what people
- 00:16:38think is obsessed with theah
- 00:16:43ofam the same student again
- 00:16:54narrates would Trace back on the roads
- 00:16:57and paths that Al wasallam traveled on
- 00:17:00and where the prophet of Allah prayed
- 00:17:02Salah while he was
- 00:17:13alive right until the point that once
- 00:17:15sahu alai wasallam was traveling and he
- 00:17:17stopped under a tree to
- 00:17:19prayah noted that exact tree down and
- 00:17:22every time he would pass by that tree he
- 00:17:25would stop and pray Salah in that same
- 00:17:27place
- 00:17:32and he would manage that tree to make
- 00:17:35sure it would not go dry or it would not
- 00:17:37die that I'm going to take care of this
- 00:17:39tree my Prophet prayed Salah here I will
- 00:17:43keep this tree alive he would come there
- 00:17:45water the tree pray some Salah and move
- 00:17:47on and we as students saw how much this
- 00:17:50man
- 00:17:52loved one time again same narrating says
- 00:17:57one time
- 00:17:59heard the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- 00:18:00wasallam
- 00:18:03saying how beautiful would it have been
- 00:18:05if we left this door specifically for
- 00:18:07women to come and come and go from in
- 00:18:10the mosque of sahu alaih wasallam women
- 00:18:12would attend so if this area this path
- 00:18:15was left for them so they can come and
- 00:18:16go at their own
- 00:18:24convenience never went near that door
- 00:18:26until he died because the prophet
- 00:18:29sallallahu alaihi wasallam had a desire
- 00:18:31that path be kept specifically for the
- 00:18:36women one of his students
- 00:18:39narrates I never
- 00:18:41saw hearing the mention
- 00:18:46of but he fell into tears he would cry
- 00:18:50immediately just by hearing the name of
- 00:18:52r s. wasallam another one of his
- 00:18:56students says that one time a person
- 00:18:58person sat in front
- 00:18:59of and recited the Ayah of ay number
- 00:19:06[Music]
- 00:19:0940 this same verse when recited
- 00:19:12toam by
- 00:19:15abdah at that moment when was reciting
- 00:19:17this verse the prophet of Allah broke
- 00:19:20out into tears so now a person recites
- 00:19:23this verse
- 00:19:27to
- 00:19:29started crying and not just one or two
- 00:19:31tears came out of his eyes his beard and
- 00:19:34His Garment became soaked in tears one
- 00:19:38person then turned to the reciter and
- 00:19:40said buddy stop look at this man's State
- 00:19:43how much are you going to read this Ayah
- 00:19:45every time you read it he breaks out
- 00:19:46into tears
- 00:19:49again slow it down a little bit take it
- 00:19:52easy on
- 00:19:53him narrates that
- 00:19:56when would recite the Ayah of verse
- 00:20:00number
- 00:20:05[Music]
- 00:20:1216 has a time not come for the Believers
- 00:20:14that their hearts fall into the fear of
- 00:20:17Allah subhanahu wa
- 00:20:20tala for the remembrance of Allah that
- 00:20:22their hearts are humbled that fear comes
- 00:20:24into their
- 00:20:26heart after all that has been revealed
- 00:20:28from the
- 00:20:30truth he would cry until tears would
- 00:20:34overcome him meaning the state of crying
- 00:20:37wouldn't just be something small it
- 00:20:39wasn't just a few tears but it would
- 00:20:41overcome him his entire State what he
- 00:20:43would enter like into a trans of just
- 00:20:46crying this state where he couldn't
- 00:20:48control himself anymore simply by the
- 00:20:50reciting of an Ayah of the
- 00:20:56Quran was known for
- 00:20:59his someone asked his servant
- 00:21:03and that tell us
- 00:21:06about inside his home we've seen him
- 00:21:09outside the
- 00:21:15home you ask howar was at home you would
- 00:21:19not be able to match him they said no
- 00:21:22tell us tell us what his life was inside
- 00:21:24the
- 00:21:27house
- 00:21:31that's
- 00:21:32it would perform a fresh
- 00:21:36forah and then until the next Salah he
- 00:21:38would sit down and read the Quran there
- 00:21:41was nothing else there that was his
- 00:21:43entire life he would read Quran pray
- 00:21:46Salah read Quran and then the next
- 00:21:50Salah na narrates that
- 00:21:57when
- 00:22:01that if he missed in he would then spend
- 00:22:05the rest of the night in worship he
- 00:22:08would not sleep that
- 00:22:10night na narrates what a student all the
- 00:22:14details everything he saw it all
- 00:22:16observed it all preserved it
- 00:22:18all
- 00:22:26narrates my master and teacher abdah did
- 00:22:31not leave this world until he had freed
- 00:22:34over 1,000
- 00:22:36slaves he would set him free and set him
- 00:22:39free and anyone he saw in slavery
- 00:22:41wherever he could he would purchase them
- 00:22:44and set them
- 00:22:46free
- 00:22:49narrates
- 00:22:52sent 100,000
- 00:22:56coins
- 00:23:01one year had not even passed by and he
- 00:23:04had nothing
- 00:23:06left spent all 100,000 on the and
- 00:23:13the his students narrate that
- 00:23:16when was in a public
- 00:23:24area every person he passed by if it was
- 00:23:28a young child or an elderly person every
- 00:23:32person that he passed
- 00:23:33by would give Salam to them which is a
- 00:23:37sign of not only his love for the Sunnah
- 00:23:40of sah alaihi wasallam but you can also
- 00:23:43see from
- 00:23:44this his humility and his humbleness
- 00:23:47that's such a great Giant and scholar
- 00:23:49and sahabi of alaih wasallam you would
- 00:23:51expect people would come and say Salam
- 00:23:53to him to honor him but before they even
- 00:23:56noticed him would approach them and he
- 00:23:59would give them
- 00:24:01Salam he was such a lover of the Sunnah
- 00:24:04that not only did he practice it but he
- 00:24:06refused to follow the footsteps of
- 00:24:09people who went against the Sunnah
- 00:24:11that's another side of following the
- 00:24:12Sunnah one thing is that individually a
- 00:24:15person does everything to follow the
- 00:24:16Sunnah on the other side you see someone
- 00:24:18else doing something and promoting
- 00:24:20something that seems to be religious a
- 00:24:23and you just walk away it's not of my
- 00:24:26business no they made it their problem
- 00:24:28they made it their business because they
- 00:24:30understood as the scholars teach us the
- 00:24:32opposite of Sunnah just as the opposite
- 00:24:34of uh night is day just as the opposite
- 00:24:37of hot is cold the and the they say the
- 00:24:41opposite ofah
- 00:24:43is they are literally opposites the two
- 00:24:46cannot coexist either you have a or you
- 00:24:49have a Sunnah right
- 00:24:53so one time he was with someone and a
- 00:24:56person next to him
- 00:24:58sneezed so the individual who was
- 00:25:00responding to the sneeze he said
- 00:25:06alul when a person sneezes to say
- 00:25:08alhamdulillah in response we are taught
- 00:25:11by the prophet of Allah to
- 00:25:13say may Allah's mercy be upon you but
- 00:25:17instead of saying he said something else
- 00:25:19which is actually very beautiful what
- 00:25:20the man said the man said
- 00:25:25alhamdulillah all Praises for Allah and
- 00:25:27may peace and bless Bings be upon the
- 00:25:28prophet of
- 00:25:30Allah
- 00:25:37said that I also say this I believe in
- 00:25:41this too that all prais is for Allah and
- 00:25:43peace and blessings be upon the prophet
- 00:25:44of Allah but this is not what the
- 00:25:46sallallahu alaihi wasallam taught us to
- 00:25:48say at this point the prophet of Allah
- 00:25:50taught us that when someone sneezes and
- 00:25:52they say alhamdulillah in response we
- 00:25:54should
- 00:25:56say he taught the person the lesson
- 00:26:00immediately a person came from kufa
- 00:26:03to and he
- 00:26:05said that people in kufa have started
- 00:26:08making some interesting claims the
- 00:26:11famous um theological deviant that began
- 00:26:15to spread in kufa
- 00:26:18was which meant that there is no
- 00:26:21predestination God does not know of
- 00:26:24anything before it happens there's
- 00:26:26nothing written by Allah subhu wa ta'ala
- 00:26:28there is no documentation of any of it
- 00:26:30everything just happens as Hollywood
- 00:26:33says every man creates their own destiny
- 00:26:36right so that's the idea that there's
- 00:26:38nothing written by Allah subhanahu wa
- 00:26:40ta'ala we aren't slaves of gods we
- 00:26:42aren't Servants of God everything's
- 00:26:44already written
- 00:26:47now when you heard this he immediately
- 00:26:50said that uh he they were referring to
- 00:26:53in the group so in response to
- 00:26:55that said that go and tell them that I
- 00:26:58have nothing to do with them and they
- 00:27:01will have nothing to do with me until
- 00:27:03they believe in that we Muslims believe
- 00:27:06that good Fai good and bad are both from
- 00:27:09Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
- 00:27:10right Allah subhanahu wa tala has given
- 00:27:13every human being the ability to choose
- 00:27:17every abil every human being chooses
- 00:27:18between what they do right now you can
- 00:27:20choose to sit here or walk out of this
- 00:27:21room this is your choice but the of
- 00:27:24Allah subhanahu wa taala the knowledge
- 00:27:25that Allah subhanahu wa taala has what
- 00:27:27you will choose is with Allah and it
- 00:27:29cannot change you know the the word for
- 00:27:34this concept that Allah subhana wa TAA
- 00:27:37has has a knowledge of everything that
- 00:27:39we do in Arabic is which could also be
- 00:27:42literally translated as an estimation
- 00:27:44and a person's estimation is based off
- 00:27:46of how well they know something someone
- 00:27:48knows a car well you ask them how much
- 00:27:49is his car they'll say that oh it's
- 00:27:51$5,000 you ask me who knows nothing
- 00:27:53about cars you know how much is this car
- 00:27:55worth I might say 50,000 it means
- 00:27:56nothing cuz I don't know
- 00:27:58Allah subhanahu wa tala is the creator
- 00:27:59of his creation he knows every intimate
- 00:28:02thought every intimate detail of a
- 00:28:04father can almost tell you what his son
- 00:28:05will do if a mother can tell you that
- 00:28:07how will my child respond to this
- 00:28:09scenario if a brother can say that about
- 00:28:10his brother if a friend could say that
- 00:28:11about their friend with limited
- 00:28:13knowledge no matter how much we claim to
- 00:28:14know them imagine the knowledge of Allah
- 00:28:16subhanahu wa'ta'ala and beyond that time
- 00:28:20and space in itself are both creations
- 00:28:21of Allah Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is
- 00:28:24not bound by them God is not bound by
- 00:28:25his own creation so so what exists for
- 00:28:28us over a period of time to Allah
- 00:28:30subhanahu wa ta'ala as if it's all in
- 00:28:32one moment Allah's knowledge is complete
- 00:28:36now we do accept that the human being
- 00:28:38has their ability to make decisions and
- 00:28:40make good choices so when the prophet of
- 00:28:42Allah was asked regarding the matter of
- 00:28:44someone said oh god oh messenger of
- 00:28:45Allah if everything's already been
- 00:28:47written then what's the point what's the
- 00:28:49point in doing anything and that's the
- 00:28:51beauty of Islam that these questions
- 00:28:54were asked directly to the prophet of
- 00:28:56Allah you look at for example
- 00:29:00Christianity and you look at the gospels
- 00:29:02you look at St Paul and his teachings
- 00:29:07these are all people who narrate from
- 00:29:12Isa 40 to 50 years after his lifting
- 00:29:16from the d none of these people actually
- 00:29:19lived during the time
- 00:29:21ofam or actually narrate directly from
- 00:29:24isaam you know Prophet Jesus they don't
- 00:29:27narrate directly from him they they
- 00:29:29weren't direct students of his you know
- 00:29:32Saul Paul never saw Isa Alam during his
- 00:29:36life he never met with him yet such a
- 00:29:38significant part of Christianity is
- 00:29:40based off of his testimony his teaching
- 00:29:43his
- 00:29:44preaching he never saw Isa Alam once in
- 00:29:47his life and the same could be said
- 00:29:49regarding the other gospels and in Islam
- 00:29:53the story is very different in Islam
- 00:29:56these questions were were asked directly
- 00:29:58from the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- 00:29:59wasallam and sallah alaihi wasallam
- 00:30:02answered these issues one by one
- 00:30:04directly
- 00:30:05himself that a messenger of Allah what's
- 00:30:07the purpose of you know doing things if
- 00:30:10it's all just written by Allah subhana
- 00:30:11tala everything's already written what's
- 00:30:13the
- 00:30:15point sallam answered back by
- 00:30:20saying you are trying to contend with
- 00:30:23the knowledge of God if a person claims
- 00:30:26that Allah wa T did not know what abdan
- 00:30:30is going to do in the next moment that
- 00:30:32means we claim deficiency in God's
- 00:30:34knowledge and as Muslims that is
- 00:30:35impossible we refuse any deficiency in
- 00:30:38our God in Allah in the Quran
- 00:30:42says all knowing very fully informed not
- 00:30:46one thing passes Allah subhana wa tala
- 00:30:49but he knows
- 00:30:50it however in this moment right now for
- 00:30:53every for everything that you do there
- 00:30:55are multiple options and you need to
- 00:30:57choose choose which option you will you
- 00:30:59with you wish to you wish to take on
- 00:31:02which one you wish to be held
- 00:31:03accountable for and that option even
- 00:31:05though in this moment it's your choice
- 00:31:07Allah subhah wa taala has knowledge of
- 00:31:08it and the knowledge of something does
- 00:31:12not equate to is not equal to an action
- 00:31:16I can have knowledge of something but
- 00:31:17that knowledge in itself isn't enough
- 00:31:19until I actually do it if a person goes
- 00:31:21to court and says I have knowledge that
- 00:31:23tomorrow this person is going to do
- 00:31:24something it means nothing on the day of
- 00:31:26judgment Allah subhanahu wa tala
- 00:31:28establishes the not based off of only
- 00:31:31his knowledge that something was going
- 00:31:32to happen but rather based off of the
- 00:31:35actions you what you did in the D
- 00:31:38someone
- 00:31:39asked that how much of my how much of my
- 00:31:43do I actually have control of so gave a
- 00:31:47beautiful analogy he said you're
- 00:31:48standing on two feet raise one he raised
- 00:31:50one he said now raise the other he said
- 00:31:52I can't that's the
- 00:31:55reality while explaining once the issue
- 00:31:57of one time he was traveling and he
- 00:32:00stopped over for um
- 00:32:04Salah so he told a person would you mind
- 00:32:07watching over my horse let me go inside
- 00:32:08and pray so the man was watching over
- 00:32:10Ali's horse he went inside he prayed his
- 00:32:13prayer when he came back out the horse
- 00:32:15was there his saddle was
- 00:32:19gone in that moment was actually holding
- 00:32:21on to 10 Dirhams 10 golden coins 10
- 00:32:25Dinars sorry and his intention was to
- 00:32:27give that guy that didham that silver
- 00:32:29that din that golden coin he was going
- 00:32:31to give the guy some money as a kind as
- 00:32:33a kind gesture as a gift the thank you
- 00:32:35for waiting for me but now that he got
- 00:32:37outside that money that he was holding
- 00:32:39in his hand he couldn't give it to that
- 00:32:40person anymore put it back in his pocket
- 00:32:41the guy was missing his saddle was
- 00:32:43missing couldn't ride a horse without a
- 00:32:45saddle that's dangerous so he walked his
- 00:32:47horse to the nearby Market he found a
- 00:32:49store that was selling Saddles and he
- 00:32:51went to a guy and he said I need to buy
- 00:32:53a saddle the guy said we describe for
- 00:32:55what you want and he described his the
- 00:32:57saddle that he was looking for like
- 00:32:58something with this specification this
- 00:33:00material this this that that guy said oh
- 00:33:02well you're un luuck I just came into
- 00:33:03the perfect saddle for you he pulls out
- 00:33:05Ali
- 00:33:07saddle this is a saddle right
- 00:33:09here Ali says that's my saddle he said
- 00:33:13well I bought it so you're going to buy
- 00:33:15it I put money into
- 00:33:19thisi agrees he purchases a saddle
- 00:33:22mounts it on his animal right when he's
- 00:33:24about to leave he turns back to the man
- 00:33:25and asks him
- 00:33:27how much did he sell it to you
- 00:33:29for he said for 10
- 00:33:34coinsi turned to his companions and says
- 00:33:3610 coins were always
- 00:33:38his he was destined to have those
- 00:33:4210 whether he received them through
- 00:33:44Halal Oram was his
- 00:33:45choice he chose the wrong
- 00:33:52path that Allah subhana wa T facilitates
- 00:33:55the path for which you were created
- 00:33:57focus on what you can do in this moment
- 00:34:00that's where your focus should be and if
- 00:34:02things don't work out for you it's okay
- 00:34:04go back to the drawing board and
- 00:34:05continue sometimes you give it your best
- 00:34:08and the class doesn't work out the job
- 00:34:10doesn't work out the relationship
- 00:34:11doesn't work out it's
- 00:34:14okay Fai good and bad are both from
- 00:34:17Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the good is
- 00:34:19from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so we
- 00:34:21exercise gratitude to Allah we learn to
- 00:34:23be thankful that I'm thankful that
- 00:34:25things are going good right now they're
- 00:34:27going well in my life I'm thankful that
- 00:34:29I have freedom I'm thankful that I have
- 00:34:30shelter I'm thankful that I have faith
- 00:34:32I'm thankful that I have wealth I'm
- 00:34:34thankful for the people that love me and
- 00:34:36the people that I'm able to love sh and
- 00:34:39on the other hand there are rough days
- 00:34:41and when those rough days come you don't
- 00:34:42run
- 00:34:44away you exercise patience and that's
- 00:34:47one of the major differences between an
- 00:34:49atheist and a theist The Atheist rejects
- 00:34:52God the moment things get tough why
- 00:34:55didn't God give me me what I wanted when
- 00:34:58I wanted and the simple analogy that I
- 00:35:00give for an atheist is equivalent to a
- 00:35:03child who's in a store with their parent
- 00:35:06and they're driving and they're rolling
- 00:35:07past the the candy aisle and the child
- 00:35:10says to mom that mom buy me candy and
- 00:35:12Mom says I'm not going to buy you candy
- 00:35:14and the kid says mom you hate me you're
- 00:35:15not my mom anymore I don't love you and
- 00:35:18Mom was like okay buddy why don't you
- 00:35:20calm down a little bit why don't you
- 00:35:22settle in I still love you right saying
- 00:35:25that I'm not your mother doesn't change
- 00:35:27anything while the believer on the other
- 00:35:29hand no matter how difficult things get
- 00:35:31remains patient things don't always work
- 00:35:34out sometimes it's your calamities that
- 00:35:37break your ego away and help you come
- 00:35:40back into touch with your own reality
- 00:35:43calamities are powerful if you let them
- 00:35:44do what they're supposed to do tests in
- 00:35:48life could spiritually Elevate you to a
- 00:35:50point that you wouldn't be able to reach
- 00:35:52on with your own worship even if you
- 00:35:54tried I think of challenging in life
- 00:35:57kind of like a
- 00:35:59catalyst expedites the process the
- 00:36:01chemical reactions are so much faster if
- 00:36:03you're kind of growing like this
- 00:36:05gradually a MBA comes in a just vertical
- 00:36:09growth instant growth the story in the
- 00:36:12Quran of all the prophets all the
- 00:36:15prophets all the righteous people that
- 00:36:16are referenced in the Quran they are not
- 00:36:19mentioned as biographical entries rather
- 00:36:22they are mentioned in the Quran as men
- 00:36:24and women who face difficulty in life
- 00:36:27and they didn't give up on Allah they
- 00:36:29remained loyal and patient and Allah
- 00:36:31subhanahu wa tala loved them so much
- 00:36:33that their stories were crystallized for
- 00:36:35eternity in theam of Allah subhah wa
- 00:36:37tala every one of
- 00:36:40them
- 00:36:43zarb every single one of them the same
- 00:36:46story every single
- 00:36:49time when he was asked this
- 00:36:52question that is it true that there is
- 00:36:54no such thing as he said I have nothing
- 00:36:57to do with these people and they have
- 00:36:58nothing to do with me until they believe
- 00:37:12in narrates one of the students of
- 00:37:16abdah that a person once offered
- 00:37:18him
- 00:37:21jaish a person offered him
- 00:37:25jaish
- 00:37:28had no idea what this jaish was he said
- 00:37:30what's
- 00:37:31jaish so he said this is something that
- 00:37:34we eat after we have a big heavy meal
- 00:37:37and we're full you know like you've had
- 00:37:39four slices of Chicago style deep dish
- 00:37:41gano's pizza and you're like completely
- 00:37:44bloated and you can't turn left or right
- 00:37:46you're maxed out he said when we eat a
- 00:37:51lot and you're having tough digesting
- 00:37:54that food we eat
- 00:37:57to help with the
- 00:38:01digestion
- 00:38:05said I haven't eaten to my full in four
- 00:38:09months and then he said and it's not
- 00:38:20because and it's not because I didn't
- 00:38:22have the ability to eat but rather is
- 00:38:24because I made a commitment to a people
- 00:38:26who would eat one day eat a meal and
- 00:38:29then stay hungry for the next one they
- 00:38:31didn't always eat these were people that
- 00:38:33weren't just s filling themselves and
- 00:38:35that's the American problem that's the
- 00:38:36Western problem that we're just so
- 00:38:39greedy with our appetites just eat and
- 00:38:41eat and eat and we're not thinking about
- 00:38:43it we don't care about what it's doing
- 00:38:45to our bodies you know the most advanced
- 00:38:48Nation uh possibly when it comes to
- 00:38:51Science and Technology and
- 00:38:53Innovation but the most obese as well
- 00:38:56we're up there man and you look at the
- 00:38:58Muslim world and you look at the third
- 00:38:59world as well they were actually doing
- 00:39:01much better before we started giving
- 00:39:02them all of our artificial food before
- 00:39:04we started sending them you know U
- 00:39:07McDonald's and twinkies and and soda
- 00:39:10those people were doing quite decent and
- 00:39:12then we started sending them all sorts
- 00:39:13of junk food and now people are just
- 00:39:15hooked on to that cheap meal you go to
- 00:39:18the Middle East now I went to Saudia and
- 00:39:20like I was trying to have a healthy meal
- 00:39:22and the only thing I could find that was
- 00:39:24close to being healthy was fried chicken
- 00:39:28not even Al bake Al fake
- 00:39:30like everywhere you
- 00:39:33go it's say fried chicken and I'm like
- 00:39:35come on give me some can I buy a salad I
- 00:39:38did not see one salad store in the
- 00:39:40entire
- 00:39:41MCA their Sala is like not even like a
- 00:39:44full salad it's like dacy salad dacy
- 00:39:47salad is like sliced carrots sliced
- 00:39:50cucumbers and beets with Chutney on the
- 00:39:53side if you're not this you're like what
- 00:39:55in the world is going on on what am I
- 00:39:57what is this for the rabbit or
- 00:40:03something this is a powerful narration
- 00:40:06the son of it has some in it that one
- 00:40:09day he came outside and while he was
- 00:40:11walking he saw that everyone had
- 00:40:14gathered so he asked them what's going
- 00:40:17on they
- 00:40:20said there's a lion in the road so
- 00:40:23everyone's you know there's a wild cat
- 00:40:25there people are being cautious people
- 00:40:28are trying to wait it out to see what
- 00:40:29happens
- 00:40:31next
- 00:40:32so
- 00:40:34dismounted and he went to the lion and
- 00:40:38literally held it by the
- 00:40:44ear he then held the animal and pulled
- 00:40:47it aside he held the line and pulled it
- 00:40:51aside people are shocked like what what
- 00:40:54is this guy doing does he not have any
- 00:40:57fear and then he said I heard the
- 00:40:59prophet of Allah
- 00:41:15saying that had the son of Adam not
- 00:41:17feared anyone other than Allah no one
- 00:41:20would overcome the insan it's that we
- 00:41:22have started fearing others that's why
- 00:41:24their fear has entered into our hearts
- 00:41:27this applies to Jin as well the Muslims
- 00:41:28are very terrified of Jin there's no
- 00:41:31need to be afraid of
- 00:41:33them Allah gave you honor there's no
- 00:41:36need to be afraid of any any animal any
- 00:41:39creation you have this like six-foot
- 00:41:41dude who weighs like 200 lb and he's
- 00:41:43terrified of a
- 00:41:45cockroach God created you Superior have
- 00:41:48some dignity you're jumping in the air
- 00:41:51like a young child by the passing of a
- 00:41:52small Mouse not even the size of this
- 00:41:55cup
- 00:41:57you know what happened to the
- 00:41:59insan the statement of is quite profound
- 00:42:03that Allah subhana wa taala he gave the
- 00:42:07human being honor over all that you
- 00:42:09don't fear anyone other than Allah
- 00:42:11subhanahu wa
- 00:42:13tala you ever seen
- 00:42:16someone
- 00:42:17Fearless just approach a lion or a wild
- 00:42:21animal and control it have you guys ever
- 00:42:23seen that yes no I've seen it
- 00:42:26it's crazy you know these people I I was
- 00:42:30in um zomia in like kind of southern
- 00:42:34part of Africa and um My teacher asked
- 00:42:37me to go there you know to teach Islam
- 00:42:39to some of the people there and spend
- 00:42:40time with the Muslims so we were
- 00:42:43literally in uh what they called the
- 00:42:46bush like we were in the
- 00:42:48jungle and so we're driving in this car
- 00:42:51this guy's driving me and he he
- 00:42:53literally chopped the top part of his
- 00:42:54car off so it's it's open and as we're
- 00:42:58driving we're passing by this is I saw
- 00:43:01this with my own eyes we're driving past
- 00:43:03hyenas we're driving past giraffes going
- 00:43:06past so many rhinos just sitting on the
- 00:43:09side of the bank passing by like bulls
- 00:43:13and buffalo and all the animals so then
- 00:43:16we're passing by one area he said this
- 00:43:18area is known for cheetah and
- 00:43:20lions so we saw the we saw them there
- 00:43:23was a group of female lions by the side
- 00:43:25and this is getting closer I'm telling
- 00:43:28him you know is by why don't you slow
- 00:43:30down a little bit we don't need to go
- 00:43:31that close my camera has a zoom in
- 00:43:34feature we don't need to go any
- 00:43:37closer M that's a he used to always say
- 00:43:42mu you don't need to be afraid of
- 00:43:44anything I'm here I said aren't you
- 00:43:46afraid he said no I said what would you
- 00:43:49do if that lion from there pounced on us
- 00:43:51cuz there's nothing on top of us there's
- 00:43:53no security no safety what would you do
- 00:43:55right now if that lion right there
- 00:43:57five sofs away jumps on
- 00:43:59us this man holds up his big light that
- 00:44:01he's holding in his hand he goes I hit
- 00:44:02it with
- 00:44:04this Not Afraid at all
- 00:44:08man that didn't increase my confidence
- 00:44:10in
- 00:44:12him but I definitely saw what confidence
- 00:44:15was the guy's Not Afraid you put me up
- 00:44:18against that guy I'll take him down and
- 00:44:20it's not false confidence either like
- 00:44:23it's it's a state that these people are
- 00:44:25not afraid
- 00:44:26you look at the like you know in
- 00:44:29Afghanistan these people are not afraid
- 00:44:31of Tanks they're not afraid of jets
- 00:44:33they're tough they're really tough
- 00:44:36people they look at the enemy and they
- 00:44:38say you should be afraid of me not the
- 00:44:40other way around the son of Adam did not
- 00:44:43fear anyone other than Allah nothing
- 00:44:45else would overcome
- 00:44:47him one person came to because avoided
- 00:44:52participating in any of the wars between
- 00:44:55any of the sahaba you know any disputes
- 00:44:58or anything he said I'm not going to get
- 00:45:00involved in any of this and it was
- 00:45:02beautiful that he didn't
- 00:45:04because politics are just an ongoing
- 00:45:07story there's always going to be an up
- 00:45:08and down you need some people in the
- 00:45:10community that kind of stay away from
- 00:45:12the politics and teach and educate
- 00:45:14people not dividing the people because
- 00:45:17once you're a part of one party when
- 00:45:18people from the other group see you they
- 00:45:20won't study from you because why oh
- 00:45:21you're from that group there's some
- 00:45:23assumption that this person is going to
- 00:45:24feed an agenda to me
- 00:45:27made it a policy that I am a teacher
- 00:45:29everyone learns the Hadith from me and I
- 00:45:31wouldn't remain that so I'm not going to
- 00:45:32get involved in any of this right he
- 00:45:35chose not to be a part of it so a person
- 00:45:37once came
- 00:45:38to and he said to him you know thatth
- 00:45:42that we always hear that Islam is based
- 00:45:44on Five Pillars you guys know that
- 00:45:47narration Islam is built on Five Pillars
- 00:45:50we teach it to kids in Sunday School in
- 00:45:52theas at Interfaith Islam is based on
- 00:45:55Five Pillars most of you may not know
- 00:45:57this that narration is narrated
- 00:46:01by and the reason why he narrated that
- 00:46:04Hadith is this a person came to trying
- 00:46:08to Guilt Trip him he said that why don't
- 00:46:11you go for Jihad everyone's going for
- 00:46:13Jihad why don't you go for Jihad so at
- 00:46:16that point in response to him
- 00:46:20said Islam is built on Five Pillars and
- 00:46:23Jihad is not one of those five pillars
- 00:46:25that's how he quoted that narration to
- 00:46:27him that we believe in God Salah
- 00:46:32Zak is Jihad fighting in the battlefield
- 00:46:36obligatory it could be in certain
- 00:46:37circumstances your city is getting
- 00:46:39ransacked you can't stand at home with
- 00:46:41your um with your cheese and crackers
- 00:46:44you got to get up and go fight you got
- 00:46:46to defend the people that's a time you
- 00:46:48know but overall in Islam we don't have
- 00:46:51this concept that everyone's on barbaric
- 00:46:53mode where we're all just fighting and
- 00:46:54shooting and killing and blowing up each
- 00:46:56other kind of like what you know
- 00:46:57Hollywood wants people to believe like
- 00:46:59they're always showing Muslim as a crazy
- 00:47:01cuckoo guy that's was making it a point
- 00:47:04that Islam is a Jihad is a tool that
- 00:47:07Muslims use if there is a need for it if
- 00:47:10we get pushed we will push back if there
- 00:47:12is a need we will stand up if there is a
- 00:47:14need if oppression becomes common we
- 00:47:16will stand up to establish justice Islam
- 00:47:19is not some pacifist religion some
- 00:47:21so-called Buddhist Faith that's not what
- 00:47:23it is Islam believes in Justice
- 00:47:26and if there is oppression the the the
- 00:47:29Muslim ruler if there is one at any
- 00:47:32given time in any given State can pass a
- 00:47:34ruling that Muslims get up and spread
- 00:47:36justice but it's not one of the five
- 00:47:39pillars of
- 00:47:40Islam the five pillars of Islam that
- 00:47:42apply to everyone at all
- 00:47:45times and then he narrates these five um
- 00:47:50pillars so that questioner he then cited
- 00:47:53a verse
- 00:47:54to vers number eight that okay I'll
- 00:47:58accept that one but what about the
- 00:48:06Ayah he cited this verse so responded
- 00:48:11back to him what about the Ayah of the
- 00:48:16Quran that whoever kills another
- 00:48:18believer intentionally will be in the
- 00:48:20fire of Hell eternally you're going to
- 00:48:22kill people he's he's saying I I'm not
- 00:48:25going to fight you can't shame me into
- 00:48:27fighting I'm not going to go fight
- 00:48:29against another Muslim another
- 00:48:31mmin so then that guy said what about
- 00:48:34the
- 00:48:37AY 193 so said to him that you've
- 00:48:41misunderstood this verse this verse is
- 00:48:43talking about the early days of Islam
- 00:48:45where Muslims weren't even allowed to
- 00:48:46practice their faith they were tortured
- 00:48:48so then Allah when we arrived in Madina
- 00:48:52gave us permission to fight to defend
- 00:48:54ourselves to establish our own land and
- 00:48:56to worship Allah subhana T
- 00:48:57freely now Islam has become
- 00:49:00abundant and there is no F anymore this
- 00:49:03Ayah does not apply he's a muf you can't
- 00:49:06shame him into you know partially
- 00:49:07stating this and partially stating that
- 00:49:09he is a knowledgeable Man Who Saw
- 00:49:11Revelation come down upon he lived with
- 00:49:14the prophet of
- 00:49:17Allah when he realized that he couldn't
- 00:49:20convince he
- 00:49:23said the man was one of these trolls
- 00:49:25from you know social media Twitter uh
- 00:49:29Facebook Instagram so he said so what's
- 00:49:31your opinion
- 00:49:34regarding so he
- 00:49:37said like the other companions was
- 00:49:39forgiven by Allah you choose you people
- 00:49:40choose not to forgive him if he did
- 00:49:43anything you people are the ones that
- 00:49:44hold grudges not me I don't have a
- 00:49:46grudge against another companion as
- 00:49:48for he was the cousin of the prophet of
- 00:49:50Allah the son-in-law of the prophet of
- 00:49:52Allah and his house was right here he
- 00:49:55pointed to towards the area in front of
- 00:49:56him was right next to the house of the
- 00:49:58Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
- 00:50:00that's what he meant to the prophet of
- 00:50:01Allah so what opinion do I havei is
- 00:50:05beloved to us just as he was beloved to
- 00:50:08the prophet sallallahu alaihi
- 00:50:10wasallam now we go to the end
- 00:50:13of's
- 00:50:19life um it passes from this world in the
- 00:50:2473rd year after
- 00:50:27migration 73rd year after
- 00:50:32migration there's a lot going on at this
- 00:50:35time politically there's a lot of things
- 00:50:36happening haaj Yu has just basically
- 00:50:39ransacked Makkah M to bring down
- 00:50:42Abdullah Zu who was the established khif
- 00:50:46in Makkah we covered abdah Zu story and
- 00:50:50actually his mother's
- 00:50:53story earlier in our classes
- 00:50:56so after abdah Zu was
- 00:50:59martyred um ha the man who orchestrated
- 00:51:03the whole thing the general behind om
- 00:51:05Army he was delivering a sermon and he
- 00:51:07began to say very foul things against
- 00:51:10certain Companions of the Prophet
- 00:51:11sallallahu alaihi
- 00:51:14wasallam stood up he was an old man
- 00:51:18senior person some historians say he was
- 00:51:22around 87 years old in his mid to late
- 00:51:2680s he heard the man speaking foul about
- 00:51:29a sahabi so stood up and he said oh
- 00:51:32enemy of Allah stop it you say bad
- 00:51:35things about the companions you
- 00:51:37desecrated the honor of the Caba by
- 00:51:39bringing War
- 00:51:40here this was a land that people were
- 00:51:42not allowed to have weapons in and you
- 00:51:45brought weapons here you brought an army
- 00:51:47here you fought a war in mecah who does
- 00:51:49such who does something like
- 00:51:51this
- 00:51:53Hau was a man so he turned to and in
- 00:51:59front of everyone publicly he said this
- 00:52:01man is senile he's lost his brains he's
- 00:52:04no
- 00:52:06good
- 00:52:08then ha Yu called one of his people and
- 00:52:12instructed him to inflict a wound on
- 00:52:16with a poisoned uh
- 00:52:24weapon
- 00:52:31that man came and he made a small cut
- 00:52:35on which led to's Health deteriorating
- 00:52:39significantly when he was on his death
- 00:52:41bed ha YF came to visit him and he
- 00:52:44played innocent he said is there
- 00:52:46anything I can do for you point out who
- 00:52:48cut you and I will deal with him so
- 00:52:51first didn't respond when ha kept trying
- 00:52:54to make a
- 00:52:57scene turned towards him and he said you
- 00:52:59were the one who killed me he said how
- 00:53:02could you say such a thing so abdah then
- 00:53:05repeated that before your arrival there
- 00:53:07was none of this in Makkah there were no
- 00:53:10weapons here this was a safe town this
- 00:53:12is a Haram a sanctuary whoever cut me
- 00:53:15did it because you allowed it to happen
- 00:53:17you're the one who brought all these
- 00:53:18weapons into makah M you're the one who
- 00:53:20bought the war here you're the one who
- 00:53:21bought the fight here and as
- 00:53:26was on his um deathbed his student
- 00:53:30narrates that the last thing that he uh
- 00:53:33stated regret over was uh not being able
- 00:53:37to spend more time in this world
- 00:53:39worshiping Allah subhanahu wa taala he
- 00:53:42said man I wish I could live longer to
- 00:53:43worship Allah more to fast more to do
- 00:53:46more good deeds and I also regret not
- 00:53:48standing up against the rebel group uh
- 00:53:51when they stood up against the Khalifa
- 00:53:53may Allah subhanahu wa taala elev at the
- 00:53:55m
- 00:53:57ofd so many lessons to learn from him
- 00:54:00there again there's so many there are so
- 00:54:01many stories and so many anecdotes so
- 00:54:04many things that we can learn from
- 00:54:07everything had a place in time one time
- 00:54:10was doing of the a person came to him
- 00:54:12and said I would like to marry your
- 00:54:15daughter in the middle of his ta
- 00:54:20so didn't even respond to him he just
- 00:54:22kept
- 00:54:23walking that guy felt so shameful that
- 00:54:25man I wanted to marry that guy's
- 00:54:27daughter and I took my moment you know
- 00:54:29how young people when they get excited
- 00:54:30sometimes they get a little nervous too
