- 00:00:00hey this is Leo for actualised org and
- 00:00:05in this episode I want to share with you
- 00:00:08a vision for the self actualized life
- 00:00:11the inspired life
- 00:00:13the kind of life that's available for
- 00:00:17you I just got back from a two-week
- 00:00:31pretty intense consciousness retreat
- 00:00:34where I did a lot of inner work and a
- 00:00:37lot of thinking and introspection a lot
- 00:00:41of pursuing of enlightenment and also
- 00:00:43meeting and talking to a lot of
- 00:00:44interesting people who are involved in
- 00:00:47self-improvement in some fashion and one
- 00:00:51of the things that I kind of realized is
- 00:00:52I just realized how lucky I am to be
- 00:00:55where I am in 2015 just reflecting back
- 00:00:59on what happened this year for me I took
- 00:01:02five retreats I invested over ten
- 00:01:05thousand dollars just in taking retreats
- 00:01:07traveling around the country I took
- 00:01:10three vacations a seven day vacation a
- 00:01:12ten-day vacation I'm going to take
- 00:01:14another vacation coming up here two more
- 00:01:17to wrap up this year I get to set my own
- 00:01:21schedule I wake up whenever I want I go
- 00:01:23to sleep whenever I want I work in my
- 00:01:25underwear although right now I'm wearing
- 00:01:27pants as I shoot this got to keep things
- 00:01:30professional right umm I earn six
- 00:01:33figures doing what I love this year I
- 00:01:36released my dream project the life
- 00:01:38purpose course which I really wanted to
- 00:01:41release because it feels like I get to
- 00:01:43use it to to improve the world for the
- 00:01:45better to make my contribution impact on
- 00:01:47the world so that was really big for me
- 00:01:49worked really hard on that I've received
- 00:01:53thousands over a thousand thank you
- 00:01:56emails and thank-you comments on YouTube
- 00:02:00on my website in my inbox every single
- 00:02:04week
- 00:02:04it's amazing to read some of the some of
- 00:02:08the emails that I get from people that
- 00:02:10get progress in their life from
- 00:02:13for applying some of the concepts that I
- 00:02:15teach I bought pretty much everything
- 00:02:19that I wanted every gadget every
- 00:02:20electronics thing television compute
- 00:02:22like whatever I want gadget wise or
- 00:02:24books or you know anything I want
- 00:02:26materially I basically have there's
- 00:02:28there's like there's not much more I
- 00:02:30want I've pretty much exhausted all of
- 00:02:32my material desires except for maybe
- 00:02:35buying a house which I could do if I
- 00:02:37wanted to but I just don't want to tie
- 00:02:39myself down with that right now and my
- 00:02:42emotional and my mental development I
- 00:02:45feel like it's skyrocketing and growing
- 00:02:49at rates that I never imagined was even
- 00:02:51possible I thought that I already knew
- 00:02:54so much but it's like no there's more
- 00:02:56and then there's more and there's more
- 00:02:57and I'm just discovering that it's like
- 00:02:59it's never-ending how much I can learn
- 00:03:01and how much I can grow myself and how
- 00:03:03good I can feel in my mind in my body on
- 00:03:06a daily basis so the reason I say all
- 00:03:11this is not to brag but just because I
- 00:03:15was at this retreat and I was really
- 00:03:18having some deep conversations with
- 00:03:19people and one of the individuals I met
- 00:03:21there was this a 20 year old kid and he
- 00:03:25was inspiring guy because I just talked
- 00:03:28and listened to his story in fact I got
- 00:03:30a lot of people's stories there but his
- 00:03:32story was interesting because he
- 00:03:34actually became an apprentice and he was
- 00:03:36at this at this consciousness thing for
- 00:03:39eight months straight he was living
- 00:03:41there full-time working at it full-time
- 00:03:43that was like his whole thing but before
- 00:03:47that he was basically just like an
- 00:03:48ordinary teenager ordinary kid who just
- 00:03:52played video games back to his thing was
- 00:03:53that he played Wow for like ten hours a
- 00:03:55day that was this thing just went to
- 00:03:57school [ __ ] with friends and played
- 00:04:00Wow for ten hours a day and that was his
- 00:04:02life and then he came here and he just
- 00:04:04had this complete like mind-blowing
- 00:04:08transformation and what was interesting
- 00:04:11is that he was learning consciousness
- 00:04:12work at this retreat and that's cool you
- 00:04:15know conscious work is a very specific
- 00:04:16thing it's a little different from self
- 00:04:19improvement or personal development work
- 00:04:20but you know we just try to talk in and
- 00:04:23I was talking about what I do and the
- 00:04:25concepts that I talked about on my
- 00:04:27channel
- 00:04:27fourth and he just got curious and we
- 00:04:29just started talking about and I was
- 00:04:30trying to like help him a little bit
- 00:04:32give him some advice about becoming a
- 00:04:34writer because he wanted to become a
- 00:04:35writer and one of the things he got from
- 00:04:37doing this conscious work is that he saw
- 00:04:38that [ __ ] I'm wasting my life playing
- 00:04:40Wow 10 hours a day I should be working
- 00:04:43on my writing and so he actually started
- 00:04:45working on his writing started making
- 00:04:46plans for all that stuff but we started
- 00:04:49talking late at night and basically I
- 00:04:51started exposing him to self-help
- 00:04:53material so some of the advice that I'm
- 00:04:56exposing you guys to here through these
- 00:04:57videos I was starting to expose him to
- 00:05:01some of that stuff and it was starting
- 00:05:02to blow his mind I could see it it's
- 00:05:04like he was listening to some of these
- 00:05:06concepts it was the first time he ever
- 00:05:07heard about some of these concepts even
- 00:05:10though he was doing conscious work and
- 00:05:11you know conscious northing I said is a
- 00:05:12different thing but it blew his mind
- 00:05:15because he's like oh like it's actually
- 00:05:17possible to engineer systematically
- 00:05:20engineer an awesome life for oneself
- 00:05:22like it's possible to create an amazing
- 00:05:23career with passion it's possible to
- 00:05:26like get your financial freedom in life
- 00:05:28it's possible to like learn a lot about
- 00:05:30relationships and about sexuality and
- 00:05:32all these other domains business and
- 00:05:35marketing and so forth and like set up
- 00:05:37an amazing lifestyle for yourself like
- 00:05:39it blew it was blowing his mind that
- 00:05:41this stuff is possible to do and yeah I
- 00:05:43was you know telling him more and more
- 00:05:45about this news getting curious but what
- 00:05:47shocked me was it was an epiphany for me
- 00:05:49was that he was shocked by the fact that
- 00:05:53these are possibilities for him and what
- 00:05:57clicked in my mind is I had to slot I'm
- 00:05:59like oh my [ __ ] god
- 00:06:02ordinary people I'm so involved with
- 00:06:04self-improvement work that I'm like out
- 00:06:07of touch with the fact that ordinary
- 00:06:08people don't even know it's not that
- 00:06:11they don't know that there's personal
- 00:06:13development work that they should be
- 00:06:16doing it's like they don't even know
- 00:06:17that there is such a thing called self
- 00:06:19improvement at all this concept is
- 00:06:21completely foreign to most people like
- 00:06:25it was for this guy I was telling you
- 00:06:28about something seventies he's just like
- 00:06:29oh my god I never realized like I could
- 00:06:31actually live a life that's passionate
- 00:06:33and that feels like I'm alive that's
- 00:06:36like not what all my friends are doing
- 00:06:38and not what like my family is kind of
- 00:06:41expects
- 00:06:41they need to do I just like thought that
- 00:06:44I was just like go working some regular
- 00:06:47job you know in a grocery store or
- 00:06:48something like this or bartending or
- 00:06:51whatever and maybe just work a little
- 00:06:53bit on my writing you know like that was
- 00:06:54kind of his plan and it blew my mind
- 00:06:58because I realize like holy [ __ ] what
- 00:07:01needs to happen here more than me just
- 00:07:04communicating a bunch of techniques to
- 00:07:06you guys and concepts and advanced
- 00:07:08theory Theory collide ia's what needs to
- 00:07:11happen is just more communication of the
- 00:07:13vision of what you can create for
- 00:07:15yourself and what I really want you to
- 00:07:19buy into is the idea that there is this
- 00:07:21thing of self-improvement and not just a
- 00:07:2620% self-improvement or like a 50%
- 00:07:30self-improvement but like uh five
- 00:07:33thousand percent twenty thousand percent
- 00:07:36like life altering radically changing
- 00:07:40how you feel about life who you think
- 00:07:42you are in life what you're doing in
- 00:07:43life like completely wiping the slate
- 00:07:45clean and rebuilding yourself kind of
- 00:07:49self-improvement one of the problems is
- 00:07:53that most people don't really realize
- 00:07:54that this is out there this is possible
- 00:07:56it seems like a fantasy especially if
- 00:07:59you're stuck in an environment with
- 00:08:01friends and family who set a shitty
- 00:08:03example and the fact is that most
- 00:08:05friends and family set a shitty example
- 00:08:08including my own I came from a
- 00:08:10background where that was the case so I
- 00:08:12wasn't privileged in any way by having
- 00:08:14some great well-functioning family in
- 00:08:17fact one of my main motives I think for
- 00:08:19getting into this work was because of
- 00:08:21how shitty the example was set by my
- 00:08:24parents so there's that but then there's
- 00:08:27also pop culture so you watch movies
- 00:08:30video games television all this kind of
- 00:08:32stuff Netflix Internet you just get
- 00:08:34sucked into all that and then pop
- 00:08:36culture basically destroys your capacity
- 00:08:38to live a creative fully alive life and
- 00:08:43it robs you of this drive that you could
- 00:08:45have so this was an epiphany that I had
- 00:08:48I think that more needs to be said about
- 00:08:51this like just hammering this point home
- 00:08:54because I want you to see what you're
- 00:08:57missing out on in your life because I
- 00:09:00don't think you get it even if you're
- 00:09:04following this work even if you're
- 00:09:05dabbling a bit in self-improvement I
- 00:09:07still don't think you get just how much
- 00:09:11you're leaving on the table right now
- 00:09:14and how much is possible for you so I
- 00:09:18want to share a little bit of my vision
- 00:09:19for what self-actualization is what I
- 00:09:21call self-actualization this actually
- 00:09:23concept that I was inspired to take from
- 00:09:26Abraham Maslow who I think coined a term
- 00:09:29self-actualization here's how he defines
- 00:09:32it it's the realization of one's
- 00:09:34potentials capacities and talents the
- 00:09:38fulfillment of one's mission in life a
- 00:09:40fuller knowledge of one's intrinsic
- 00:09:43nature getting really in touch with your
- 00:09:46authentic self and becoming a whole
- 00:09:49human being not the fragmented human
- 00:09:52being not the small petty human being
- 00:09:54that you are right now it's an unceasing
- 00:09:57trend towards unity and integration
- 00:10:01within yourself Maslow said there are
- 00:10:06two types of pleasure scarcity pleasure
- 00:10:09and abundance pleasure scarcity pleasure
- 00:10:13is the relief that one gets from the
- 00:10:17loss of tension and anxiety
- 00:10:21ringabel
- 00:10:24isn't that what you're doing with most
- 00:10:26of your goals in life right now is
- 00:10:28you're trying to reduce tension fear and
- 00:10:31anxiety and pain and this gives you a
- 00:10:35certain kind of pleasure when you do
- 00:10:36this a certain relief and you think that
- 00:10:37you're actually accomplishing a lot and
- 00:10:39it's a good first step but then consider
- 00:10:44abundance pleasure abundance pleasure is
- 00:10:47the ecstasy at functioning at one's
- 00:10:49prime the ecstasy of functioning at once
- 00:10:54prime it's not just about fixing a
- 00:10:58dysfunction that you have it's not about
- 00:11:01curing your depression or it's not about
- 00:11:04fixing your crappy job and getting a
- 00:11:06good job no
- 00:11:08it's about the bliss that you get from
- 00:11:14living an excellent virtuous life from
- 00:11:15acing life there's a very big difference
- 00:11:18from like failing at life to doing good
- 00:11:21in life to acing life that takes a whole
- 00:11:26new level of commitment I know a lot of
- 00:11:29people who are relatively successful
- 00:11:31they earn 50 to $100,000 a year which is
- 00:11:35good enough to get them the kind of nice
- 00:11:37basically comfortable carefree lifestyle
- 00:11:40that they want and sure they have some
- 00:11:42higher aspirations but but basically you
- 00:11:44know they're just kind of like living
- 00:11:45well which is easy enough to do in
- 00:11:48modern society but they're not really
- 00:11:52functioning at the peak of their
- 00:11:54potential I wouldn't really call these
- 00:11:56people self actualized or self
- 00:11:59actualizing seif actualization is a this
- 00:12:02is an ideal you never really get some
- 00:12:04ultimate destination it's a it's a trend
- 00:12:08an unceasing trend as Maslow says a
- 00:12:12trend towards what well it's the pursuit
- 00:12:16of the following is the pursuit of
- 00:12:17humanity it's the pursuit of creativity
- 00:12:20it's the pursuit of knowledge the
- 00:12:23pursuit of fairness rationality
- 00:12:27playfulness authentic love virtue truth
- 00:12:34beauty and a feeling of joy and real
- 00:12:39deep gratitude and fulfillment with life
- 00:12:44notice that this is not just getting
- 00:12:48security in life or getting comfort in
- 00:12:51life this is something very different
- 00:12:53than that if you're living your life for
- 00:12:55security and comfort which probably 90%
- 00:13:00of you are then you know that's a good
- 00:13:04start you got to start somewhere but
- 00:13:08that shouldn't be your vision your
- 00:13:10vision has to be higher it has to really
- 00:13:13tap into the ultimate of what a human
- 00:13:17being can be let me tell you little bit
- 00:13:21about that
- 00:13:22what's possible for you what is possible
- 00:13:25for you if you really commit yourself to
- 00:13:27a lifelong path of self-actualization
- 00:13:30work of working not just on the outside
- 00:13:33circumstances of your life but mostly
- 00:13:36focusing on really the inside
- 00:13:38circumstances your beliefs your
- 00:13:41attitudes your habits and patterns and
- 00:13:45so on there's a real huge difference
- 00:13:50between the regular life and the
- 00:13:52self-actualized life and you'll start to
- 00:13:55see more and more of it as I talk like I
- 00:13:58said it's living to the peak of human
- 00:14:00capability and most of us state we don't
- 00:14:05really know what the peak of human
- 00:14:06capability what this means because we're
- 00:14:08growing up in a culture around us and
- 00:14:10are the people that we grow up around
- 00:14:12are probably pretty average they're
- 00:14:14probably pretty neurotic and
- 00:14:15dysfunctional they're not really
- 00:14:16superstars because even if once in a
- 00:14:22while you do encounter a superstar
- 00:14:23chances are he or she then exits and
- 00:14:27passes through your life because usually
- 00:14:29superstars want to associate with other
- 00:14:30superstars that's one of the secrets of
- 00:14:35of moving up in life associating with
- 00:14:38really ambitious people who really
- 00:14:40understand this vision for what they can
- 00:14:43get out of life and they're really
- 00:14:44bought into it and if you grew up an
- 00:14:46environment where your parents or
- 00:14:49friends or siblings they weren't bought
- 00:14:50in and your co-workers weren't bought in
- 00:14:52and so forth then you don't even know
- 00:14:54what's going on like what is possible
- 00:14:57for you you think that what's possible
- 00:14:59for you is just what's possible for the
- 00:15:00common herd like a cow who grows up in a
- 00:15:04factory farm doesn't really know what
- 00:15:08it's like to really be a a cow who lives
- 00:15:10on a green beautiful pasture out in out
- 00:15:15of nature all he sees is just the
- 00:15:18feedlots and all the other cows crammed
- 00:15:21in together in some aluminum shed which
- 00:15:26is not how you're designed to live
- 00:15:30imagine for a minute
- 00:15:34a moment in your life where you felt the
- 00:15:36most alive with creative energy where
- 00:15:42you were giddy with creativity you were
- 00:15:45working on something or you had some
- 00:15:46brilliant idea or maybe some artistic
- 00:15:48inspiration or you were just blown away
- 00:15:51by something that you read and you
- 00:15:52wanted to do more with that or you were
- 00:15:54blown away why by piece of music or you
- 00:15:56blown away by something you saw in the
- 00:15:58movies or maybe you were blown away by
- 00:16:00something you saw out in nature or you
- 00:16:02were moved by some speaker that you
- 00:16:03heard speaking giving a motivational
- 00:16:05speech or whatever imagine right now
- 00:16:09conjure up a memory from the past you
- 00:16:11have one of these memories where you
- 00:16:12really felt creatively alive and maybe
- 00:16:17you have to go back 10 20 30 years to
- 00:16:20find this moment all the way back maybe
- 00:16:23to your childhood but you can find one
- 00:16:24of these moments and go ahead and just
- 00:16:29close your eyes for just a few seconds
- 00:16:31and try to recall the emotions in your
- 00:16:34body that you actually felt when you
- 00:16:37were creatively alive and really juiced
- 00:16:40up and really like ready to go do
- 00:16:43something in the world close your eyes
- 00:16:48right now and picture that try to get a
- 00:16:51little bit of that feeling back in your
- 00:16:52body if you can here's what's possible
- 00:17:00you got that feeling here's what's
- 00:17:02possible what's possible and you're
- 00:17:05probably not going to believe this but
- 00:17:08what's possible is that you can live
- 00:17:10every single day of your life
- 00:17:12feeling that way consistently every
- 00:17:17single day waking up charged and feeling
- 00:17:22alive and eager going through your whole
- 00:17:24day creating and stoking up even more of
- 00:17:27that energy and then going to sleep
- 00:17:30after a whole day of work and all this
- 00:17:33kind of creative cool stuff that you do
- 00:17:35and all these ideas that you have and
- 00:17:37going to sleep almost more excited than
- 00:17:40when you woke up because you got so much
- 00:17:42done and now there's so much more to do
- 00:17:46that's what
- 00:17:47possible it's possible to turn your work
- 00:17:52into your top passion it's possible to
- 00:17:57be creatively driven in your life and to
- 00:18:02have that imbue and soak through into
- 00:18:04every aspect and facet of your life from
- 00:18:06your relationships to your finances to
- 00:18:09your health to everything else it's
- 00:18:12possible to really make the most
- 00:18:14meaningful contribution that you can
- 00:18:16possibly make to the world it's possible
- 00:18:18to actually live that and to do that to
- 00:18:22be a leader to be someone who's
- 00:18:24inspirational to others it's possible to
- 00:18:28free yourself of your neuroses and your
- 00:18:31fears and any kind of other limitations
- 00:18:33that hold you back and SAP this
- 00:18:35aliveness feeling that you were just
- 00:18:39experiencing when you were visualizing
- 00:18:43your memory it's possible to remove all
- 00:18:48those balls and chains that are tied to
- 00:18:50your feet that are holding you back to
- 00:18:53break all the shackles and it's possible
- 00:19:01to really learn and master all the key
- 00:19:03areas of life career wealth health
- 00:19:09friendships intimate relationship
- 00:19:12self-esteem and confidence so you have
- 00:19:15really strong confidence in yourself
- 00:19:18really full self-acceptance you're like
- 00:19:20a fully integrated human being where you
- 00:19:23don't browbeat yourself you don't
- 00:19:24sabotage yourself you don't feel guilty
- 00:19:26you don't feel shameful you don't feel
- 00:19:28sad you don't feel nihilistic you don't
- 00:19:31feel depressed you don't feel angry
- 00:19:32towards others you don't feel critical
- 00:19:34you don't feel negative at all you can
- 00:19:38learn to shed all those habits those are
- 00:19:41all internal toxic habits that you think
- 00:19:44is just the norm and part and parcel of
- 00:19:48being a human being but it's not it's
- 00:19:52just that the society we grew up in we
- 00:19:56think it's kind of a good society but
- 00:19:57it's a it's a really toxic society toxic
- 00:20:00culture
- 00:20:01environment and we just we just
- 00:20:03normalize to it and we think that asks
- 00:20:06what's normal and that's what's typical
- 00:20:09and that anything else seems like it's a
- 00:20:11fairy tale or it's only for certain
- 00:20:13kinds of people who are special in some
- 00:20:15way or who've been privileged or have a
- 00:20:17lot of money or some other thing like
- 00:20:20that but that's not the case at all it's
- 00:20:26also possible to learn and master
- 00:20:28emotional development so you can really
- 00:20:30master your emotions and of course your
- 00:20:34family life all those family issues that
- 00:20:37you have not just I'm not talking about
- 00:20:39just removing all the problems from all
- 00:20:42these different domains of life like
- 00:20:44career wealth health family friends and
- 00:20:46so forth I'm talking about like acing
- 00:20:49and excelling and being superb and
- 00:20:53deriving bliss in each one of these
- 00:20:56categories right but this takes work
- 00:21:01this is not something you get easily
- 00:21:03this takes a lifelong commitment to self
- 00:21:05self-actualization work a lifelong
- 00:21:08commitment to self improvement and a
- 00:21:10lifelong commitment to learning about
- 00:21:14all the deep material that you need to
- 00:21:17learn all the conceptual frameworks and
- 00:21:19theories and techniques that you need to
- 00:21:20learn for for mastering all these areas
- 00:21:24which is what I was talking about with
- 00:21:26this guy at the at the retreat you know
- 00:21:28we were talking with this I was talking
- 00:21:29with this kid and um you know telling
- 00:21:33him that there are all these different
- 00:21:34categories you can improve yourself in
- 00:21:36all these different categories you can
- 00:21:37rank yourself on how good you are right
- 00:21:39now in each one of these categories how
- 00:21:41much suffering you have or how much
- 00:21:42bliss you get from each one of those and
- 00:21:44then you can take on a systematic effort
- 00:21:47to master each one of these areas career
- 00:21:50your wealth health self-esteem family
- 00:21:53and intimate relationships and so forth
- 00:21:55and you can lock each one of these down
- 00:21:57systematically over time and you can buy
- 00:21:59books and you go to seminars you can
- 00:22:01find videos and so forth and you can get
- 00:22:04coaching and you can learn from experts
- 00:22:06who have aged all these areas you can
- 00:22:09put it all together for yourself and
- 00:22:11this is not a fantasy this is not this
- 00:22:13is nothing that's like you know
- 00:22:15it's not like winning the lottery it's
- 00:22:16not like an accident that maybe it'll
- 00:22:18happen for me someday
- 00:22:19no it's guarantee that it'll happen for
- 00:22:20you if you just commit to it and you put
- 00:22:23forth work every single day it will
- 00:22:26happen for you let me share some what I
- 00:22:32call kick-ass goals that you might want
- 00:22:34to set for yourself as you're thinking
- 00:22:36about your vision for the future because
- 00:22:39what I really want to get across to you
- 00:22:41here is you need to have a much larger
- 00:22:42vision for your life than you currently
- 00:22:44have not five times larger or not
- 00:22:47telling like a hundred times larger than
- 00:22:49what you currently have you're selling
- 00:22:52yourself very short and you're setting
- 00:22:54your goals very low you need some much
- 00:22:58more inspiring higher consciousness
- 00:23:01goals to shoot for so let me just give
- 00:23:05you a little list of some stuff that
- 00:23:07might be interesting for you that might
- 00:23:09really get you excited to to do the
- 00:23:12self-actualization work how about this
- 00:23:16one for starters how about you can
- 00:23:19create a life where you never have to
- 00:23:20worry about money ever again never have
- 00:23:24to worry about it
- 00:23:25because you're always guaranteed to get
- 00:23:28more how about a life where your work is
- 00:23:33not work but it's like play it's your
- 00:23:36greatest joy and you're doing service to
- 00:23:40the world that really means something to
- 00:23:42you and lights you up and brings you
- 00:23:45deep joy and satisfaction how about
- 00:23:51developing full emotional control
- 00:23:52I mean conquering your depression your
- 00:23:56anxiety boredom and pain and suffering
- 00:24:00anger and negative thinking and fear how
- 00:24:03about conquering all of those because
- 00:24:06you can if you want to
- 00:24:10how about developing yourself beyond
- 00:24:13that to become a really grounded
- 00:24:15emotionally imperturbable human being
- 00:24:20whatever I think about this I think
- 00:24:22about Marcus Aurelius the Roman Emperor
- 00:24:26whose whole thing was
- 00:24:30emotional mastery living a noble life
- 00:24:33being grounded being rock solid it's
- 00:24:36kind of a stoic ideal stoicism you can
- 00:24:41develop that as well
- 00:24:42and it's a lot easier these days
- 00:24:44actually than it was 2,000 years ago
- 00:24:47German during a Marcus's time because we
- 00:24:50have so much more psychological
- 00:24:53understanding we know pretty much
- 00:24:54everything about how the human mind
- 00:24:56works we've mapped out psychologically
- 00:24:58almost every neurosis and also every
- 00:25:01ideal and potential of the human mind
- 00:25:04and every capability that there is so
- 00:25:08all that knowledge is available to you
- 00:25:09right now really easily really cheaply
- 00:25:11very efficiently how about as a goal to
- 00:25:18have deep understanding of how the world
- 00:25:20works like real satisfying deep
- 00:25:24knowledge that makes you feel at home in
- 00:25:28the world because you literally
- 00:25:29understand everything you need to
- 00:25:31understand about life that's very
- 00:25:34possible
- 00:25:34in fact I'm feeling more and more that
- 00:25:38I'm getting to that place and I'm going
- 00:25:41to be there very soon and it's a really
- 00:25:43satisfying feeling how about a really
- 00:25:48successful intimate relationship that's
- 00:25:51pretty rare a really successful
- 00:25:54fulfilling intimate relationship that's
- 00:25:56very rare very rare very very rare most
- 00:26:03people have no idea how to create that
- 00:26:05for themselves how about amazing sex
- 00:26:10also very rare sex is an interesting one
- 00:26:14because sex can be a low consciousness
- 00:26:16value it can also be a very high
- 00:26:18consciousness value depends on how you
- 00:26:20think about sex how mature you are about
- 00:26:22sex how really how much you've studied
- 00:26:26and developed yourself sexually the
- 00:26:29ability to have multiple orgasms really
- 00:26:31deep intimate sex really dominant sex
- 00:26:37squirting hypnosis there's so much you
- 00:26:40can do with sex
- 00:26:44Tantra you can use sex for for
- 00:26:49enlightenment it's quite and quite
- 00:26:51incredible what you can do with sex it's
- 00:26:53a really deep field that most people
- 00:26:54never even bother to study they have
- 00:26:59even no clue that they can go so far
- 00:27:01with sex no clue at all how about
- 00:27:06confidence really developing yourself
- 00:27:08developing your core confidence so
- 00:27:11you're really sure about yourself your
- 00:27:13decisive you're assertive you accept
- 00:27:16yourself fully your flaws and your
- 00:27:18weaknesses you accept those too it's not
- 00:27:21about becoming perfect and kind of
- 00:27:24cultivating this kind of deep self-love
- 00:27:26where you love yourself as you are even
- 00:27:30with all your imperfections that's a
- 00:27:34pretty worthwhile goal
- 00:27:37how about traveling hobbies really
- 00:27:40putting yourself into a place where you
- 00:27:42can savor the full richness of life life
- 00:27:45in the 21st century offers so many
- 00:27:47incredible hobbies and adventures and
- 00:27:50places to travel to you can travel all
- 00:27:52around the world you can see amazing
- 00:27:54monuments and sites you go to amazing
- 00:27:56restaurants you cannot engage in
- 00:27:58incredible hobbies probably hobbies that
- 00:28:00you didn't even think existed and that
- 00:28:03certainly didn't exist several hundred
- 00:28:06years ago all of that is available quite
- 00:28:08affordably these days you can really
- 00:28:11sample the richness that the entire
- 00:28:12planet offers before you die it's pretty
- 00:28:19worthwhile goal I think really see what
- 00:28:23the world is about see how it functions
- 00:28:26see how other cultures and people
- 00:28:29function how about as another goal
- 00:28:33physical vitality and energy not feeling
- 00:28:36exhausted not feeling drained like you
- 00:28:38do after you come back from work dead
- 00:28:42tired fat and overweight and not strong
- 00:28:46kind of weak and anemic how about
- 00:28:49instead the opposite of all that you're
- 00:28:51energetic your vitality z' ah just
- 00:28:55shooting out of you just is kind of
- 00:28:57radiance of a live energy that comes to
- 00:29:02force through you physical strength and
- 00:29:05flexibility and endurance and enough
- 00:29:08energy to get through the day without
- 00:29:09having to be liquored up on coffee and
- 00:29:12energy drinks and pip pills and all this
- 00:29:15other kind of crap and then of course
- 00:29:18transferring that beautiful energy that
- 00:29:19physical vitality into into the bedroom
- 00:29:25how about rich and rewarding friendships
- 00:29:29not the kind of crappy friends you have
- 00:29:31or just like your victim companions who
- 00:29:34you all get together in [ __ ] and moan
- 00:29:35with but like really uh friends that are
- 00:29:39inspiring to you who are out there who
- 00:29:41are superstars or acing life just like
- 00:29:44you are who are self actualizing and
- 00:29:46getting a circle of those kind of
- 00:29:47friends around you friends who challenge
- 00:29:49and push you and who share the richness
- 00:29:51of the world with you how about as a
- 00:29:55goal becoming a leader of other human
- 00:29:58beings and inspiring them and being a
- 00:30:01role model and setting an example with
- 00:30:04your own life that inspires others and
- 00:30:07moves others to become great how about
- 00:30:13being creative to the ultimate degree
- 00:30:17and advancing humanity in a meaningful
- 00:30:19way whether through invention or art or
- 00:30:23scientific discovery or product creation
- 00:30:27consumer products technology and so
- 00:30:32forth how about breaking free of the rat
- 00:30:38race your 95 job the two weeks of crappy
- 00:30:45vacation that you get and the toxic pop
- 00:30:48culture that you are inundated with
- 00:30:51every single day television internet
- 00:30:55social media smartphone breaking free of
- 00:30:59that how about living a life with
- 00:31:05integrity a life based on principles for
- 00:31:10their own
- 00:31:10sake so you can feel like you've lived a
- 00:31:14noble life when you're dead like your
- 00:31:19life was extraordinary in the full sense
- 00:31:23of that word and that you're really
- 00:31:27proud of the kind of life you lived this
- 00:31:30intense pride for your life not in an
- 00:31:33arrogant gloating sort of way but
- 00:31:36actually in a very humble sort of way
- 00:31:37where you realize and you're grateful
- 00:31:39for how lucky you've been and all the
- 00:31:41great stuff that's happened to you and
- 00:31:43all the great people and things that
- 00:31:44have come into your life that you've
- 00:31:45been able to seize those opportunities
- 00:31:47and make something out of those and
- 00:31:50pride in the fact that you actually
- 00:31:52committed yourself to making something
- 00:31:53more of yourself than the average person
- 00:31:56does and that you somehow left the world
- 00:32:00better off than when you came into it
- 00:32:03through your work how about
- 00:32:09enlightenment how about realizing the
- 00:32:11true existential nature of yourself
- 00:32:14other people and reality that's possible
- 00:32:19for you did you know that did you know
- 00:32:21that you can discover the answers to
- 00:32:25those questions
- 00:32:27philosophical type questions that you
- 00:32:29would think there are no answers to well
- 00:32:31actually you can get experiential
- 00:32:35answers to those questions very profound
- 00:32:37answers that will completely transform
- 00:32:40how you see life and people it will even
- 00:32:45transform how you see life and death
- 00:32:48including your own death how about as a
- 00:32:56goal having the time to contemplate and
- 00:32:58reflect on life to really appreciate and
- 00:33:01see the beauty of life to savor that
- 00:33:02beauty not just to be running around a
- 00:33:07hamster in a wheel all the time frantic
- 00:33:09and doing this and that and bouncing
- 00:33:11between 20 different things with a full
- 00:33:12schedule and trying to juggle ten
- 00:33:14different balls in the air and being all
- 00:33:17neurotic and and anxious about not
- 00:33:19having time to even when you have your
- 00:33:20victories your little petty victories
- 00:33:22when you have those you don't have any
- 00:33:24time to really
- 00:33:24select and contemplate and savor them do
- 00:33:26you know you're just rushing through you
- 00:33:30just going through the motions how about
- 00:33:32as a goal though that you actually make
- 00:33:34that time for yourself you actually do
- 00:33:37more with less time and you leave time
- 00:33:40open to really savor and appreciate the
- 00:33:42beauty of life and how about is your
- 00:33:47ultimate goal that when you're lying on
- 00:33:50your deathbed you die with a smile on
- 00:33:54your face without fearing death without
- 00:33:59all the regrets that normal people have
- 00:34:01when they die but really understanding
- 00:34:05that you went all out and you soaked in
- 00:34:09everything that life had to offer all
- 00:34:10the richness and all the possibility
- 00:34:12that you really sees as much of it as
- 00:34:15you could not perfectly but you seized
- 00:34:16as much of it as you reasonably could be
- 00:34:19expected to and dying knowing that you
- 00:34:26accomplished everything there was to
- 00:34:27accomplish here on earth and you've
- 00:34:29savored everything that there was to
- 00:34:31savor with this human body apparatus
- 00:34:34that you've been given did you know that
- 00:34:39that's possible for you as a goal these
- 00:34:42things they might sound like a pipe
- 00:34:43dream these might sound like wishful
- 00:34:44thinking they're not these are all very
- 00:34:48practical pragmatic things that you can
- 00:34:51set as specific goals for yourself and
- 00:34:54you can achieve them and not just like
- 00:34:57checking off a bucket list that's not
- 00:34:59what I'm talking about here I'm talking
- 00:35:00about really transforming the very core
- 00:35:05of your being to embody all of these
- 00:35:07things and to not just achieve them but
- 00:35:10to be fulfilled by them and to savor
- 00:35:13them and to really appreciate them and
- 00:35:15be grateful for them that's what I talk
- 00:35:19about when I talk about my vision for a
- 00:35:22self actualized life when I think about
- 00:35:24self-actualization it's a pretty
- 00:35:26abstract term it could mean a lot of
- 00:35:29things for a lot of different people it
- 00:35:31might just mean general self-improvement
- 00:35:32to you it just might mean like Oh
- 00:35:34getting a better job or earning some
- 00:35:35more money or something I know to me
- 00:35:37what it means is in me
- 00:35:38these more noble higher consciousness
- 00:35:41ideals the kind of stuff that most of us
- 00:35:44don't even think about ever in life like
- 00:35:4810 years for the average person 10 years
- 00:35:50could go by and not one of these goals
- 00:35:53that I talked about would even be
- 00:35:54considered as possible or really be
- 00:35:56seriously pursued so this is what's
- 00:36:01possible for you now notice this is
- 00:36:06different than just being rich or
- 00:36:07successful I don't really like to push
- 00:36:11being rich and just being successful for
- 00:36:14me here the emphasis and the difference
- 00:36:16is on personal emotional growth because
- 00:36:21I know rich and successful people quote
- 00:36:24unquote successful people who do not
- 00:36:28touch many of these goals that I talked
- 00:36:31about and I wouldn't really call them
- 00:36:32self actualizing people because they're
- 00:36:38not really emphasizing their own inner
- 00:36:40transformation emotional growth maturity
- 00:36:45spiritual growth you might say although
- 00:36:47I really like that word spiritual growth
- 00:36:49might be a good way to put it
- 00:36:51so that's what's possible now I was
- 00:36:58talking about some of the stuff with
- 00:36:59with this kid at the retreat and he was
- 00:37:03getting excited by these very curious
- 00:37:04about me spent a lot of time he spent
- 00:37:06several hours talking about all this
- 00:37:07kind of stuff
- 00:37:08I gave him various tips that I um that I
- 00:37:12give you guys through through these
- 00:37:13videos one of these he asked me says he
- 00:37:17asked me so Leah are you happy now was
- 00:37:21an interesting question because I
- 00:37:22thought about them like yeah am i happy
- 00:37:25and at the time I was actually quite
- 00:37:28frustrated doing conscious work is is a
- 00:37:31really surefire way to make oneself
- 00:37:34frustrated and actually I was at that
- 00:37:37point my life were I was thinking
- 00:37:39through a lot of stuff working through a
- 00:37:40lot of stuff I wasn't really happy but
- 00:37:43one thing I could say is that I was
- 00:37:45fulfilled
- 00:37:50fulfillment versus happiness happiness
- 00:37:53is like an emotion it comes it goes
- 00:37:55sometimes you feel sad sometimes you
- 00:37:57feel frustrated or angry or pissed off
- 00:37:59or afraid or whatever it goes up and
- 00:38:02down fulfillment though fulfillment is
- 00:38:06what you experience when you're on the
- 00:38:09self actualizing journey when you know
- 00:38:12that you really are self actualizing
- 00:38:14when you've started when you've gotten
- 00:38:16past the couple first years of real you
- 00:38:19know rocky ground or you're falling off
- 00:38:22track a lot you're not sure if any of
- 00:38:23this stuff works once you get past that
- 00:38:25and you finally commit to self actually
- 00:38:27[ __ ] and you see that it's possible you
- 00:38:29see that all this is possible and you're
- 00:38:31going for a now full-bore on and stuff
- 00:38:36is clicking for you
- 00:38:37that's when fulfillment starts to come
- 00:38:40fulfillment it's just like this general
- 00:38:43sense of that you've got life handled or
- 00:38:48that even those aspects of life that you
- 00:38:50don't have handled you'll handle those
- 00:38:51and then ultimately you see the beauty
- 00:38:54of life you see how much there is to
- 00:38:57appreciate and you know even though I'm
- 00:39:00not happy all the time you know I would
- 00:39:03bet that most of you think that I'm
- 00:39:04happier than I actually am on a daily
- 00:39:06basis which is false that's that's a
- 00:39:11wrong assumption on your part I'm not
- 00:39:12that happy but what you probably
- 00:39:14underestimate us how fulfilled I am
- 00:39:17generally speaking like I'm at the point
- 00:39:20in my life and I'm not trying to brag
- 00:39:21here but I'm just trying to show you
- 00:39:23like what's possible because most people
- 00:39:25don't believe that this is possible it
- 00:39:27sounds hokey
- 00:39:28and you know what 5-10 years ago I
- 00:39:31probably wouldn't have believed it as
- 00:39:33well but right now I'm at the point my
- 00:39:36life where I get tears tears of joy like
- 00:39:40literally tears of joy that pour down my
- 00:39:43cheeks at least once a week when I
- 00:39:46reflect on the quality of my life and
- 00:39:48also the trajectory of my life and also
- 00:39:51what I've accomplished in my life and
- 00:39:52what I'm doing and the impact that I'm
- 00:39:55having on other human beings so like
- 00:39:58tears like tears right um this is one of
- 00:40:03the most profound
- 00:40:04own feelings that you'll get and
- 00:40:06probably the most inspiring reason to
- 00:40:10become self actualizing and to do this
- 00:40:13work is because at one point you will
- 00:40:15reach this point in your life I
- 00:40:16guarantee it if you do this work where
- 00:40:18you will just sit down you will look at
- 00:40:20life and you'll just have tears thinking
- 00:40:28about how privileged you are to be able
- 00:40:39to to experience this because this is
- 00:40:44very easy for me to imagine a life where
- 00:40:46I was born and I grew up and just the
- 00:40:49universe reality or society or whatever
- 00:40:52was so constructed that basically I was
- 00:40:54not able to get any of this right none
- 00:40:58of this was bit would be possible either
- 00:41:00because I'm living in some sort of
- 00:41:01dictatorship regime or because human
- 00:41:05technology hasn't evolved let's say if
- 00:41:07I'm living 10,000 years ago or because
- 00:41:11because we don't have the knowledge and
- 00:41:14information available to allow this kind
- 00:41:15of stuff or because it's way too
- 00:41:17expensive like it might have been a
- 00:41:20thousand years ago or because the
- 00:41:24government doesn't have the laws that
- 00:41:25allow it or even because human
- 00:41:28psychology is different and it doesn't
- 00:41:29allow it what if you were born a
- 00:41:31chimpanzee self-actualization would
- 00:41:35probably not work for you so well right
- 00:41:36and you probably couldn't really do the
- 00:41:38things you could do as a human being
- 00:41:40we're really privileged to have been
- 00:41:42born as human beings and not something
- 00:41:44else in a sense we're also cursed but if
- 00:41:49you can conquer that curse you can get
- 00:41:55to the to the highest potential of
- 00:41:57humanity that's a really beautiful thing
- 00:42:01it really starts to change how you see
- 00:42:03humanity for a long time in my youth
- 00:42:06when I was in my kind of philosophical
- 00:42:08phase I'm doing a lot of philosophy I
- 00:42:09was I was very misanthropic and I kind
- 00:42:12of hated humanity hated society and
- 00:42:14hated all the evil stuff that it does
- 00:42:18and there's a you know there's a lot of
- 00:42:19truth to that low consciousness
- 00:42:22humanities really ugly but also what
- 00:42:25starts to happen once you do the self
- 00:42:26actualization we can start to see that
- 00:42:28actually there's high conscious humanity
- 00:42:29- and that's basically what you're
- 00:42:32working for and you're working towards
- 00:42:34you're working towards moving yourself
- 00:42:36out of low conscious humanity towards
- 00:42:38higher conscious humanity and when you
- 00:42:40get here and you live from this place
- 00:42:42what happens is that all this nastiness
- 00:42:45over here just kind of dissolves it all
- 00:42:47becomes understood you just become
- 00:42:49peaceful about it you accept that you
- 00:42:51understand it you can even love it
- 00:42:54that's what it means to be a fully
- 00:42:57integrated and whole human being you
- 00:43:02accept reality as it is not as some
- 00:43:08ideal but as it actually is and this is
- 00:43:13out of most people's wildest
- 00:43:19imaginations about what's possible I
- 00:43:21can't really even describe and
- 00:43:24articulate all the crazy [ __ ] that's
- 00:43:27possible all the amazing stuff that's
- 00:43:28possible for you in this work it's hard
- 00:43:32I have to sit down and really think
- 00:43:33about all this stuff before I came up
- 00:43:34here and started talking about it
- 00:43:35because there's so much and I really
- 00:43:39struggle it takes me a lot of time
- 00:43:40thinking about this stuff to fully
- 00:43:42articulate in a concise way and this is
- 00:43:47not a short video all these points so at
- 00:43:54this point you might be wondering okay
- 00:43:55Leo how do I self actualize what should
- 00:43:57I do
- 00:43:57how do we take this from the vision to
- 00:44:00actual reality well it's true you need
- 00:44:02both right you need the vision you need
- 00:44:05the ideal to inspire you but that's not
- 00:44:08enough this is not the secret this is
- 00:44:11not Law of Attraction we just get a sick
- 00:44:14back and just wish and have your vision
- 00:44:15and it's all done for you
- 00:44:17no not that easy I'll give you a couple
- 00:44:22of steps no real practical steps you can
- 00:44:24start doing today step number one is
- 00:44:27knowledge you need knowledge to self
- 00:44:29actualize one thing you're lacking is
- 00:44:32accurate high-quality information how do
- 00:44:39you acquire that well first you make a
- 00:44:40commitment to become a lifelong learner
- 00:44:43learning should be a top priority in
- 00:44:45your life learning through thinking
- 00:44:48through reading books through talking to
- 00:44:50people through going to seminars and etc
- 00:44:53etc all the different ways you can learn
- 00:44:55taking notes keeping a journal keeping a
- 00:44:58diary this is mandatory this is not
- 00:45:03optional learning does not stop after
- 00:45:05high school or college or after your PhD
- 00:45:08is done here's a really good tip invest
- 00:45:1510% of your income every year into
- 00:45:17learning that means if you make fifty
- 00:45:21thousand five thousand a year invest it
- 00:45:25into books seminars self-help products
- 00:45:29therapy coaching or whatever other way
- 00:45:31you can use to learn get creative with
- 00:45:34it you'll actually find it's quite
- 00:45:37challenging to spend ten percent of your
- 00:45:38income on learning if you are in a
- 00:45:40hundred thousand dollars a year right
- 00:45:41now then that means ten thousand dollars
- 00:45:44a year on learning and then once you
- 00:45:50spend that money then you have to create
- 00:45:52the time to actually read all those
- 00:45:54books or listen to all those seminars
- 00:45:56and so forth step number two start
- 00:46:02making small changes in your life right
- 00:46:03now you don't need any huge drastic
- 00:46:06things like quitting your job and
- 00:46:08becoming a millionaire to start this
- 00:46:10process so the first thing you're going
- 00:46:13to do is become a learner you can do
- 00:46:15that right now even if you're poor you
- 00:46:17can go buy a couple of books for twenty
- 00:46:19bucks that will change your life
- 00:46:22second step like I said is sort making
- 00:46:25small changes what I mean by that is
- 00:46:26eliminate toxic habits the most toxic
- 00:46:28have is you have eliminate those start
- 00:46:31building good habits start building a
- 00:46:33strong morning routine healthy morning
- 00:46:36routine that inspires you and energizes
- 00:46:39you and I have other videos and episodes
- 00:46:42where I talk about bad habits good
- 00:46:45habits and so forth I'll give you a lot
- 00:46:46of ideas for different habits you can
- 00:46:48create meditation would be one great
- 00:46:50habit to install one or two bad habits
- 00:46:54to remove would be eating unhealthy
- 00:46:58foods especially wheat products lots of
- 00:47:00sugar eliminate those or if you drink or
- 00:47:04if you smoke or ingest any kind of drugs
- 00:47:07eliminating those or limiting your
- 00:47:09negative thinking habit eliminating your
- 00:47:14social media / internet / TV habit so
- 00:47:21you get the idea there these are little
- 00:47:24things you can do without quitting your
- 00:47:26job and without leaving your marriage
- 00:47:27and so forth little things start with
- 00:47:29little things it will add up before you
- 00:47:33can make really big inspiring changes in
- 00:47:35your life sometimes you just got to get
- 00:47:36like the basics down you can't make a
- 00:47:39big inspiring change in your life win
- 00:47:41for example you go binge drinking every
- 00:47:43Friday and Saturday and just totally
- 00:47:45waste yourself not going to work so fix
- 00:47:48that first fix the basics there's a lot
- 00:47:51of [ __ ] you could fix right now in your
- 00:47:52life that's just like very basic stuff
- 00:47:56and then emotional mastery focus your
- 00:48:00attention on mastering your emotions at
- 00:48:02least a little bit especially the most
- 00:48:04negative emotions for example if you
- 00:48:06have crippling low self-esteem if you
- 00:48:08have anger issues if you have rage
- 00:48:09issues if you're constantly critical of
- 00:48:12the world if you're constantly negative
- 00:48:14if you're a troll if you're crippled by
- 00:48:21fear if you have a lot of negative
- 00:48:23limiting beliefs and if you play the
- 00:48:25victim all the time and you blame other
- 00:48:27people for why your life is so miserable
- 00:48:31then those are all areas you need to
- 00:48:34start addressing now how do you dress
- 00:48:36all those there as well I have a lot of
- 00:48:38videos on it all these various topics
- 00:48:40but also you can go read books seminars
- 00:48:43see step number one for that it's not
- 00:48:46rocket science here all this stuff
- 00:48:48solutions to all these problems are well
- 00:48:51researched well documented well known
- 00:48:52and they're all proven and they work if
- 00:48:55you go out and find the right ones so
- 00:48:57that was
- 00:48:58number two now step number three once
- 00:49:00you get a little bit of that stuff
- 00:49:01handled kind of the toxic dysfunctional
- 00:49:04stuff then step number three should be
- 00:49:06find your life purpose and man this is a
- 00:49:09very deep topic it's a very important
- 00:49:11topic you need to find your core
- 00:49:13essential purpose in life you need to
- 00:49:14find out who you are authentically who
- 00:49:17you are as a human being
- 00:49:18as a personality and I'm not going to
- 00:49:22talk much about that here but if you're
- 00:49:25really interested in that and you want
- 00:49:26to really a that then go check out my
- 00:49:29ultimate life purpose course it's a 25
- 00:49:32hour course plus even more material that
- 00:49:36I'm adding to it soon uh that's just
- 00:49:39some of the most life transforming
- 00:49:41material if you go and do those
- 00:49:42exercises that I tell you that course it
- 00:49:44will change your life that's step number
- 00:49:49three you need a life purpose I don't
- 00:49:50just say that because I have a product
- 00:49:51no don't get that wrong I have a product
- 00:49:54because this is such an important point
- 00:49:56that's why the product was created
- 00:49:58I didn't just create a random product I
- 00:50:02found my life purpose I discovered what
- 00:50:06was most important to create a self
- 00:50:07actualized life and it just so happened
- 00:50:10that it was live purpose and most people
- 00:50:13have no idea what their life purpose is
- 00:50:15so this is a critical component that
- 00:50:17virtually everybody is missing you need
- 00:50:19this component otherwise you will not be
- 00:50:21fully self actualized not even close
- 00:50:24and step number four is and it's a
- 00:50:29little more advanced become financially
- 00:50:32independent when you free yourself from
- 00:50:36your nine-to-five job and you become
- 00:50:38your own boss or at least you are not
- 00:50:41reliant and you know what's the word
- 00:50:46you're not desperate for money and
- 00:50:50you're not working 80-hour days because
- 00:50:53your boss is forcing you to otherwise
- 00:50:55you can get fired when you can
- 00:50:57disconnect from that and set your own
- 00:50:59sane schedule and your own sane work
- 00:51:02hours and also pay yourself well support
- 00:51:06yourself financially this gives you a
- 00:51:08level of confidence and freedom and
- 00:51:10ability to then go out
- 00:51:11and really do the deep
- 00:51:15self-actualization work and fully and
- 00:51:17richly enjoy life so that's step number
- 00:51:21four I'm giving you a broad outline here
- 00:51:23so I'm not filling in all the details
- 00:51:24you're going to go find out how these
- 00:51:26are big goals it'll take you probably
- 00:51:29multiple years to work on some of these
- 00:51:31goals like your life purpose like
- 00:51:33becoming financially independent but you
- 00:51:36need to start thinking about this stuff
- 00:51:37in planning ahead that's it those are
- 00:51:43the four steps if you do those four
- 00:51:45steps I'm going to be pretty confident
- 00:51:47that you're going to be well on your way
- 00:51:48to self-actualization and if you don't
- 00:51:55do these four steps or you skip some of
- 00:51:56them then I'm going to be very worried
- 00:51:58for you and I don't think you're going
- 00:52:00to get there so in conclusion your life
- 00:52:04is short live your life like you have a
- 00:52:08burning midlife crisis right now I don't
- 00:52:11care how old you are if you're 15 if
- 00:52:13you're 20 if you're 30 if you're 40 for
- 00:52:1760 right now is your midlife crisis
- 00:52:20moment I've had at least two or three
- 00:52:22midlife crises already and I'm only 30
- 00:52:24that's a good thing get them out of the
- 00:52:27way early what else have you got to do
- 00:52:30with your life can you come up with a
- 00:52:32better vision what else have you got
- 00:52:34go with the best vision that you find
- 00:52:36available whether you came up with it or
- 00:52:38you want to use my vision or you want to
- 00:52:40use somebody else's vision you find some
- 00:52:41better vision some book somewhere go do
- 00:52:43that but I doubt you'll find something
- 00:52:48much bigger than what I outline for you
- 00:52:51here because this encapsulate a whole
- 00:52:54lot of [ __ ]
- 00:52:56this encapsulate basically what it means
- 00:52:58to be an extraordinary human being what
- 00:53:03else have you got to do what TV playing
- 00:53:06World of Warcraft going out and banging
- 00:53:11girls getting drunk on the weekends
