all right guys welcome back to the
  • 00:00:01
channel um i figured in this video i
  • 00:00:03
    would address
  • 00:00:04
uh basically the elephant in the room i
  • 00:00:07
    know you guys probably
  • 00:00:09
are wondering where the hell i've been
  • 00:00:11
    um how i've been
  • 00:00:12
all that kind of stuff because my
  • 00:00:14
    content has been very very
  • 00:00:16
um i guess scarce and it's been
  • 00:00:19
just really really poor quality as far
  • 00:00:22
as what i usually do and what you guys
  • 00:00:24
have seen in the past couple years when
  • 00:00:26
    i was really trying to
  • 00:00:27
push the channel as far as my guitar
  • 00:00:30
    covers and
  • 00:00:31
just videos where i'm talking to you
  • 00:00:32
guys and all that kind of stuff and
  • 00:00:34
i know that [ __ ] has basically dried up
  • 00:00:37
    disappeared
  • 00:00:38
well there's a reason for all of this
  • 00:00:39
and i'm gonna get i'm gonna explain
  • 00:00:40
everything in this video to you guys as
  • 00:00:42
much as i possibly can i mean
  • 00:00:44
there's going to be a lot over the
  • 00:00:45
course of time to continue to go over
  • 00:00:48
with you guys as i improve my health
  • 00:00:49
because that's what this video is about
  • 00:00:52
i have a current health situation that i
  • 00:00:54
    am addressing and
  • 00:00:56
i just want to basically bring you guys
  • 00:00:58
up to date with what's going on with me
  • 00:00:59
    because i have
  • 00:01:00
i've been pretty much dormant i've been
  • 00:01:02
    living under a rock um
  • 00:01:04
and i think it'd be very fair to you
  • 00:01:06
guys to know what's going on so that's
  • 00:01:07
what this video is going to be about
  • 00:01:09
so um i guess i could start from
  • 00:01:12
uh recent events i mean within the past
  • 00:01:15
    six seven months
  • 00:01:16
uh i have not felt like myself at all
  • 00:01:20
um it's just been a slow i guess
  • 00:01:22
    progression towards
  • 00:01:23
just bottoming out as far as the way i
  • 00:01:26
    feel and
  • 00:01:27
just being aware that things are not
  • 00:01:29
    right
  • 00:01:30
    i'm always depressed always fatigued
  • 00:01:34
    short-term memory loss difficulty
  • 00:01:38
    like paying attention and retaining
  • 00:01:39
    information
  • 00:01:41
uh my sleep has been greatly disturbed
  • 00:01:44
i've been i've been pretty much i've had
  • 00:01:45
    sleep problems
  • 00:01:47
pretty much my whole life but it's just
  • 00:01:48
    gotten worse
  • 00:01:50
as uh like the pet within the past
  • 00:01:53
you know six months to a couple years i
  • 00:01:56
    think uh
  • 00:01:56
a lot of it has to do with um
  • 00:02:00
the fact that when i was competing and
  • 00:02:01
    getting ready for contests um
  • 00:02:03
each time that i had to bounce back out
  • 00:02:04
    of a diet
  • 00:02:06
i could i i can remember as i think back
  • 00:02:09
    to it
  • 00:02:10
just never quite felt the same or it
  • 00:02:12
    started to get uh
  • 00:02:13
even more difficult after i i bounced
  • 00:02:15
    out of uh
  • 00:02:16
    probably the most recent contest
  • 00:02:18
probably the last two or three that i
  • 00:02:20
    did
  • 00:02:21
and i've done six shows total but i've
  • 00:02:23
    dieted very very
  • 00:02:25
strict very hard for long periods of
  • 00:02:27
    time uh
  • 00:02:28
seven different times and this last one
  • 00:02:30
was definitely the hardest prep when i
  • 00:02:32
got my natural pro card in 2017
  • 00:02:35
that was a 27 week prep and that just
  • 00:02:38
i think that's what really really did me
  • 00:02:40
in i kept um the way i was feeling and
  • 00:02:42
things like that i kept blaming it on
  • 00:02:44
the weather just other things you know
  • 00:02:46
    the
  • 00:02:46
the world is not uh such a great place
  • 00:02:48
    right now and um
  • 00:02:50
just blaming on other things just
  • 00:02:52
    thinking that's it it's
  • 00:02:54
    it's nothing it'll pass over i'll start
  • 00:02:56
    doing better
  • 00:02:57
but i mean i just everything's gotten so
  • 00:03:00
worse to where it's like none of this is
  • 00:03:02
    normal
  • 00:03:03
i mean even when i was going fishing and
  • 00:03:06
hunting with my dad there was a lot of
  • 00:03:07
    mornings where i just
  • 00:03:08
i would end up sleeping in i just
  • 00:03:10
couldn't get up i couldn't get out of
  • 00:03:11
    bed
  • 00:03:12
a lot of that was my you know
  • 00:03:15
disturbance of sleep trying to get sleep
  • 00:03:17
where i would go to bed
  • 00:03:18
my body would be tired but i just could
  • 00:03:20
not shut off and relax and go to sleep
  • 00:03:22
and maybe if i did fall asleep it was a
  • 00:03:24
short period of time half hour
  • 00:03:26
you know hour at the most and i would
  • 00:03:28
    wake right right back
  • 00:03:29
up and i couldn't go back to sleep and
  • 00:03:31
then i had enough sleeping like the
  • 00:03:32
    whole day away
  • 00:03:34
so a combination all these different
  • 00:03:36
things i just for the first time
  • 00:03:38
in 25 years so 25 years ago when i was
  • 00:03:41
    12 years old
  • 00:03:42
8th grade was the last time i got my
  • 00:03:44
    blood work done
  • 00:03:45
and i think i've always been afraid of
  • 00:03:47
needles afraid of doctors afraid of a
  • 00:03:49
    sight of blood
  • 00:03:50
like you would think me being a metal
  • 00:03:52
player and being in a death metal and
  • 00:03:54
all this kind of stuff that
  • 00:03:55
you know i would be able to overlook
  • 00:03:57
    that kind of [ __ ] but i've always had a
  • 00:03:59
really weak stomach with all that stuff
  • 00:04:01
so i always stayed away from the doctor
  • 00:04:03
    and
  • 00:04:04
i pretty much told myself throughout the
  • 00:04:07
course of my life which is up to you
  • 00:04:09
    know today
  • 00:04:09
current events that unless i thought
  • 00:04:12
absolutely something was wrong with me
  • 00:04:14
that was when i was gonna take matters
  • 00:04:16
into my own hands and see uh
  • 00:04:18
see what the problem is so i did have my
  • 00:04:20
    blood work done a few
  • 00:04:22
fridays ago and uh that was the
  • 00:04:24
    beginning of
  • 00:04:25
    february i think we're like almost a
  • 00:04:28
little bit past the middle of february
  • 00:04:29
    now
  • 00:04:30
so three weeks ago i had my blood work
  • 00:04:32
done i went to a walgreens and
  • 00:04:35
    it wasn't a pretty sight i mean when i
  • 00:04:37
got in there that was the first thing i
  • 00:04:38
told the lady i said listen
  • 00:04:40
i've not had my blood work done or seen
  • 00:04:42
    a doctor um
  • 00:04:43
any of that kind of stuff it's been 25
  • 00:04:45
years and she had this like puzzled look
  • 00:04:47
    on her face
  • 00:04:48
i said i'm afraid of needles i'm afraid
  • 00:04:50
of the unknown like if there's something
  • 00:04:52
    wrong with me i
  • 00:04:52
pretty much don't want to hear any bad
  • 00:04:54
news i mean who who wants to ever hear
  • 00:04:56
bad news if they got some uh
  • 00:04:57
issues with their health but it's it's
  • 00:05:00
pushed me so far to this point to where
  • 00:05:02
    i feel like i needed
  • 00:05:03
i needed uh some answers so she said no
  • 00:05:06
problem i'll take care of you
  • 00:05:07
i've been doing this 30 years i was
  • 00:05:09
    already like
  • 00:05:10
freaking out in my head about this i'm
  • 00:05:12
like god am i going to pass out again
  • 00:05:13
you know because that's what happened
  • 00:05:15
um when i was 12 years old i passed out
  • 00:05:18
    and um
  • 00:05:19
i woke up and there were like 15 people
  • 00:05:21
    standing around me and
  • 00:05:23
it was pretty embarrassing but i hear um
  • 00:05:25
there's some people out there that have
  • 00:05:27
    the same issue i do
  • 00:05:28
    but um so whatever she
  • 00:05:32
straps the thing on my fricking bicep
  • 00:05:34
and she's like oh damn you got some
  • 00:05:36
    force
  • 00:05:37
that was kind of funny but like that
  • 00:05:39
that didn't calm me down whatsoever i
  • 00:05:41
know she was trying to be humorous and
  • 00:05:42
stuff but it was too late i was already
  • 00:05:43
    freaking out
  • 00:05:44
i saw it like i jumped back and then i
  • 00:05:46
was actually trying to get out of the
  • 00:05:47
    chair
  • 00:05:48
and she's like relax relax it'll be fine
  • 00:05:50
    it'll be fine
  • 00:05:51
so finally i just like i had a little
  • 00:05:53
quick pep talk myself i said just get
  • 00:05:55
this [ __ ] out of the way you're gonna
  • 00:05:56
    need this information so
  • 00:05:58
i just i held my arm out i looked away i
  • 00:06:00
said just do it just do it
  • 00:06:02
and i started getting dizzy already and
  • 00:06:04
then she did it and it ended up feeling
  • 00:06:06
    like um
  • 00:06:08
i remember when i was younger it i
  • 00:06:09
thought it hurt like 10 times worse than
  • 00:06:11
that or actually hurt period because
  • 00:06:12
    when she did it
  • 00:06:14
i didn't feel nothing but that thought
  • 00:06:16
was already freaking me out and i
  • 00:06:17
started getting lightheaded and then i
  • 00:06:18
said that's it and then after that
  • 00:06:21
i woke up and um the two ladies were
  • 00:06:23
picking me up out of the chair because i
  • 00:06:24
was almost on the ground i started
  • 00:06:26
    sliding out of the chair
  • 00:06:28
and um they lifted me back up in the
  • 00:06:30
chair and i had to sit there and
  • 00:06:32
i was trying to like catch my breath
  • 00:06:33
because the anxiety and just um how
  • 00:06:35
tense i got was just so great that it
  • 00:06:37
was actually closing up my windpipe and
  • 00:06:39
    i couldn't breathe
  • 00:06:40
so after about uh 10 or 15 minutes
  • 00:06:43
i started to feel okay i kind of i came
  • 00:06:46
    back to life
  • 00:06:47
so to speak and uh the lady told me
  • 00:06:49
    she's like i gotta
  • 00:06:51
i gotta walk you up to the counter um
  • 00:06:53
you gotta buy some orange juice and you
  • 00:06:54
just gotta drink it in front of me
  • 00:06:56
before i can let you go just to make
  • 00:06:57
    sure you're okay
  • 00:06:58
cause i was as white as a freaking ghost
  • 00:07:00
    and um
  • 00:07:01
so i did that i went outside
  • 00:07:04
i sat in my truck i warmed it up i sat
  • 00:07:06
there for a good 20 minutes half hour
  • 00:07:08
before i started driving i called my dad
  • 00:07:10
    i told him what happened
  • 00:07:11
and you know because he's concerned
  • 00:07:12
    obviously about me too
  • 00:07:14
and um he kind of chuckled a little bit
  • 00:07:16
because he knew uh how much of a little
  • 00:07:18
[ __ ] i am when it comes all that stuff
  • 00:07:19
    but
  • 00:07:20
we had a little laugh and i told him
  • 00:07:22
    what's going on when i'm when i'm
  • 00:07:24
what i'm doing as far as getting this
  • 00:07:26
    procedure um like just everything
  • 00:07:28
to start feeling normal again or try to
  • 00:07:30
get some answers so fast forward a few
  • 00:07:32
    days later
  • 00:07:34
i end up getting my blood work done or i
  • 00:07:36
    get it back
  • 00:07:38
so i'm going to share some screenshots
  • 00:07:39
with you guys so you can see what's
  • 00:07:40
    going on for yourself
  • 00:07:41
you can see uh you know what my blood
  • 00:07:43
    panel looks like
  • 00:07:45
so i got a um i got some issues with my
  • 00:07:47
    thyroid
  • 00:07:49
so i'm on a medication for that my
  • 00:07:52
    testosterone ended up to be
  • 00:07:54
so my total testosterone was as far as
  • 00:07:57
    numbers go
  • 00:07:58
they were okay but my uh free
  • 00:08:00
    testosterone was
  • 00:08:01
the one that was pretty damn low and um
  • 00:08:04
    i think um
  • 00:08:05
the reason i'm in this boat is just
  • 00:08:07
because of all the times that i've
  • 00:08:08
guided for shows i tried to bounce back
  • 00:08:11
out you know when you're trying to do
  • 00:08:12
    this drug free you're gonna
  • 00:08:14
i've heard of people that have had some
  • 00:08:16
uh repercussions from that to where they
  • 00:08:18
    end up
  • 00:08:19
um depending on how many shows they do
  • 00:08:21
how they recover this and that how long
  • 00:08:23
    they diet for
  • 00:08:24
just whatever the level of wear and tear
  • 00:08:26
is going to be different on everybody
  • 00:08:28
and for me this is what i think did me
  • 00:08:30
in this was the final nail in the coffin
  • 00:08:33
but there's there's um actually other
  • 00:08:35
people out there that have competed
  • 00:08:37
and they're on hrt for the rest of their
  • 00:08:40
    life they screwed themselves up
  • 00:08:41
so i may very well very well may be one
  • 00:08:45
    of those people
  • 00:08:46
because now that's what i have to do so
  • 00:08:48
    as of yesterday which
  • 00:08:50
is the 18th of february i had to go on
  • 00:08:53
    testosterone
  • 00:08:54
as well just to bring myself my levels
  • 00:08:56
    back up
  • 00:08:57
because things i can't go on like this
  • 00:08:59
anymore the level of fatigue and
  • 00:09:01
    depression just
  • 00:09:03
unenthusiasm the [ __ ] going on with my
  • 00:09:05
    brain just my
  • 00:09:06
overall quality of life has been so
  • 00:09:08
    jeopardized
  • 00:09:09
and i just can't go on like this anymore
  • 00:09:12
so i took matters in my own hands i did
  • 00:09:14
    what i had to do
  • 00:09:15
so now i'm on testosterone and i'm on
  • 00:09:18
    thyroid medication
  • 00:09:19
just to try to get me to level back out
  • 00:09:22
    and
  • 00:09:22
you know be able to function uh like a
  • 00:09:25
    normal human being because
  • 00:09:27
i just i couldn't do this anymore and
  • 00:09:29
i'm really glad i got my blood work done
  • 00:09:30
    because it
  • 00:09:31
answered all these questions that i
  • 00:09:33
would not have known i don't know how
  • 00:09:34
much longer i could have went on like
  • 00:09:36
this um so yeah this is what i have to
  • 00:09:39
    do now for
  • 00:09:40
probably the rest of my life i have to
  • 00:09:42
be on this thyroid medication at least
  • 00:09:44
    that
  • 00:09:45
and then i don't know uh how long i
  • 00:09:47
gotta be on testosterone for but
  • 00:09:50
i had to do it i had to uh just make
  • 00:09:52
    things right
  • 00:09:53
and obviously you guys are going to see
  • 00:09:56
    as
  • 00:09:56
i start making content my enthusiasm and
  • 00:09:58
    everything should
  • 00:10:00
should pretty much come back you'll see
  • 00:10:01
the content that i enjoyed making
  • 00:10:04
um this depression i'll probably walk
  • 00:10:05
    myself right out all this
  • 00:10:07
and uh the content will just get get
  • 00:10:10
    better again
  • 00:10:10
like i like i wanted to i mean i miss
  • 00:10:12
    all this [ __ ] i really do
  • 00:10:14
but just so many days of getting out of
  • 00:10:17
barely being able to get out of bed it
  • 00:10:18
    would take
  • 00:10:19
like a half hour just to get get moving
  • 00:10:22
like my feet hit the ground and i just
  • 00:10:24
slow as [ __ ] run down just never wanted
  • 00:10:26
to do anything i was like a beating
  • 00:10:28
    heart
  • 00:10:28
and just like like no soul i guess as
  • 00:10:32
what i could say because it was
  • 00:10:33
miserable i don't know if anybody else
  • 00:10:35
has gone through this and then they had
  • 00:10:37
    to fix their problems but
  • 00:10:39
um yeah it's just total misery and this
  • 00:10:42
has been going on for a long time but
  • 00:10:44
it's just got so much worse within
  • 00:10:46
you know the past six months i just i
  • 00:10:49
    couldn't take it anymore
  • 00:10:50
so i in the process of fixing it i know
  • 00:10:53
    uh
  • 00:10:54
this shit's only been in my system for
  • 00:10:56
like a little over a day it's gonna take
  • 00:10:58
    a little bit but
  • 00:10:59
a lot of the weight that i already had
  • 00:11:02
as far as what was weighing me down that
  • 00:11:03
    was making me
  • 00:11:04
even more i guess anxious and just
  • 00:11:09
stressed out from everything was telling
  • 00:11:12
my dad about what i had to do
  • 00:11:14
um my dad's totally cool with it um
  • 00:11:17
he took it a lot better than i thought
  • 00:11:18
    because my dad knife
  • 00:11:20
my dad's everything to me he's my
  • 00:11:22
    biggest inspiration and
  • 00:11:24
we do everything together we hunt and
  • 00:11:25
fish i try to spend as much time as
  • 00:11:27
    possible with my dad
  • 00:11:28
he moved away so he's a little bit
  • 00:11:30
further it's a little bit harder to see
  • 00:11:31
    him now but
  • 00:11:32
    um if my dad's not okay with [ __ ] i'm
  • 00:11:35
not okay with stuff so that was
  • 00:11:37
that was very important to me that he
  • 00:11:39
    took that good and um
  • 00:11:41
yeah as far as you know weight lifted
  • 00:11:44
    off of me
  • 00:11:45
um so that's that's out of the way and
  • 00:11:48
    then uh
  • 00:11:48
obviously making this video because i
  • 00:11:50
never thought in a million years that i
  • 00:11:52
would have to make this video or like
  • 00:11:53
i'd be one of these people going through
  • 00:11:55
    this this
  • 00:11:56
problem but it is it is a real situation
  • 00:11:59
    and um
  • 00:12:00
yeah i'm not the only one who goes
  • 00:12:02
through this it was just uh
  • 00:12:04
you know after um i competed the last
  • 00:12:07
show i did when i got that pro card i
  • 00:12:10
felt invincible i mean after like a year
  • 00:12:12
    or two years
  • 00:12:13
i i started to get pretty uh pretty
  • 00:12:16
overconfident pretty arrogant with it i
  • 00:12:18
was like man i'm such a badass like
  • 00:12:21
i ended up accomplishing something that
  • 00:12:23
very few people can ever talk about i
  • 00:12:25
    mean how many people
  • 00:12:26
have ever trained as long as i have and
  • 00:12:29
    never
  • 00:12:29
even cross that line as far as taking
  • 00:12:31
the drugs and all that and then like
  • 00:12:33
most people are getting a bodybuilding
  • 00:12:34
too they uh they want bigger and better
  • 00:12:37
    but
  • 00:12:37
to me that was that was totally going
  • 00:12:39
    against um
  • 00:12:40
you know the whole concept of being
  • 00:12:42
healthy and having a healthy lifestyle
  • 00:12:44
    because that's
  • 00:12:45
totally not it i used to make fun of
  • 00:12:47
guys that took steroids and i'd like
  • 00:12:49
i was starting to put them down for a
  • 00:12:50
while you know after i got that pro card
  • 00:12:52
like i said i got very arrogant with it
  • 00:12:54
    i know i did
  • 00:12:55
and uh it's almost like this is coming
  • 00:12:58
back to bite me in the ass
  • 00:12:59
um in a weird kind of way but
  • 00:13:02
it i mean this is a real problem and i
  • 00:13:06
did what i had to do to fix it
  • 00:13:07
so i just figured i'd share this video
  • 00:13:09
with you guys and then um
  • 00:13:11
i think what i could do too if you guys
  • 00:13:13
are interested because this is all brand
  • 00:13:15
    new to me
  • 00:13:16
um yeah 23 plus years completely
  • 00:13:19
drug-free never took any fat burners
  • 00:13:21
    even like over-the-counter stuff those
  • 00:13:23
    sarms and all that
  • 00:13:24
that crap that these young kids take and
  • 00:13:26
they try to push on people
  • 00:13:28
none of that stuff ever always did
  • 00:13:30
everything like all this muscle mass
  • 00:13:32
that i build as far as a bodybuilding
  • 00:13:34
    perspective the way i look
  • 00:13:35
has all been 100 done by me it's all
  • 00:13:38
    hard work and pure heart
  • 00:13:40
    and now you know
  • 00:13:43
i got to do this so this is going to be
  • 00:13:45
    i mean
  • 00:13:46
it's going to be noticeable you guys are
  • 00:13:48
    going to see this
  • 00:13:50
according to this specialist that uh
  • 00:13:52
that i've been working with he told me
  • 00:13:54
since this is the first time it's a
  • 00:13:56
    completely clean body that this
  • 00:13:57
testosterone is going into the little
  • 00:13:59
    bit that i am
  • 00:13:59
taking i should put on at least 10 or 15
  • 00:14:03
pounds so that that's like a
  • 00:14:05
added perk as far as yeah i'm gonna feel
  • 00:14:07
better i'm gonna be have a much
  • 00:14:09
higher quality of life but obviously the
  • 00:14:11
    side effect is uh
  • 00:14:12
more muscle mass so i can share that
  • 00:14:14
with you guys too on top of
  • 00:14:16
the way i'm feeling and everything and
  • 00:14:18
    yeah that would have been
  • 00:14:19
completely noticeable and i'm like i
  • 00:14:21
always told you guys too when you come
  • 00:14:23
    to my channel 100
  • 00:14:24
    transparent i don't i don't [ __ ]
  • 00:14:26
    nobody you know um
  • 00:14:28
so yeah i just want to share all this
  • 00:14:30
information with you guys i think this
  • 00:14:32
    will be
  • 00:14:33
a good series of videos if you guys want
  • 00:14:34
to see anything like that the way i'm
  • 00:14:36
    feeling and everything like that
  • 00:14:38
just uh drop it in the comments and uh
  • 00:14:40
i'll do what i can to
  • 00:14:42
you know answer some of your questions
  • 00:14:43
and if you guys had to do the same thing
  • 00:14:45
    too
  • 00:14:45
just i'd like to read your stories and
  • 00:14:47
see like how you feel and
  • 00:14:49
how you went about everything and it's
  • 00:14:52
    always good to uh
  • 00:14:53
you know read some of the comments and
  • 00:14:54
see what you guys have to say i mean for
  • 00:14:56
    a while there though
  • 00:14:58
guys probably noticed too that i
  • 00:14:59
    disappeared from the comments section
  • 00:15:01
    too because i just like
  • 00:15:02
my depression i got got on such a high
  • 00:15:04
level i just didn't want to be
  • 00:15:06
i didn't want to interact with anybody i
  • 00:15:09
didn't want to be around even
  • 00:15:10
in the outside world when i go to the
  • 00:15:11
gym and stuff it's like very
  • 00:15:13
very low interactions with people just
  • 00:15:16
    didn't want just miserable i didn't want
  • 00:15:17
to be around anybody i had nothing good
  • 00:15:19
    to say
  • 00:15:20
and um yeah i'm totally reversing all
  • 00:15:23
    that so
  • 00:15:25
um yeah i appreciate you guys so much
  • 00:15:27
for uh watching this video and
  • 00:15:29
i'll have some more content on the way
  • 00:15:31
as i start to feel better and everything
  • 00:15:33
enjoy these hobbies again you know to
  • 00:15:35
    the fullest capacity and
  • 00:15:37
just be full life again i'm really
  • 00:15:38
really excited about it like this is the
  • 00:15:40
    next chapter of my life
  • 00:15:42
    you know i had a i had a hell of a
  • 00:15:44
legacy as a natural bodybuilder but i
  • 00:15:46
just as far as the way i was feeling
  • 00:15:48
it was a definitely a health concern and
  • 00:15:50
i had to do what i had to do to fix it
  • 00:15:51
    so
  • 00:15:52
again i appreciate you guys as always
  • 00:15:54
    watching
  • 00:15:55
you guys take care have a good one
