This solution introduces 'business risk observability,' a groundbreaking feature in application security that prioritizes threats by potential impact. It allows organizations, such as an e-commerce company, to assess risk across various transactions. Using this feature, they identified the checkout transaction as the most critical in need of remediation. Cisco's system calculates a composite score integrating application, business impact, and security threat data, providing crucial context for risk. The solution tracks issue locations and suggests prioritization, enabling swift action. For example, in Kubernetes pods, a specific vulnerability's real-time and CVSs scores provide insights into exploitation risk and remediation priorities. Additionally, Cisco facilitates detection and redaction of sensitive data within transactions, supporting enhanced security and improving customer experience.
