    geopolitically valuable domestic asset

    the oil industry in Texas dates back to

    the turn of the 20th century in 1901

    back then the whole State's population

    was barely more than than 3 million

    people it was completely rural without

    any major cities to speak of and the

    largest industries were simply Timber

    and agriculture but in 1901 a discovery

    Texas that would change the destiny of

    of thousands of unconventional fracking

    Wells began suddenly getting drilled all

    across other newly discovered Shale

    plays like the Eagle Ford sedimentary

    Basin running through South and

    Southeastern Texas and then all eyeses

    began once again turning back towards

    the gigantic perian Bas an over in West

    Texas in 2012 the first successful
