00:00:00
this is the only ride of its kind
00:00:02
operating in the entire world and it
00:00:04
took a full eight years to complete
00:00:06
mission Ferrari is the first ever sfx
00:00:09
coaster from Canadian manufacturer
00:00:11
Dynamic attractions the company was
00:00:13
created in 2011 for the purpose of
00:00:15
developing theme park ride systems for
00:00:17
their sister company Dynamic structures
00:00:19
who would manufacture them Dynamic
00:00:21
structures was founded a full 85 years
00:00:24
prior back in 1926 originally as
00:00:26
Vancouver Art medal over time they would
00:00:28
gain theme park experience for many
00:00:29
ufacturing systems for Disney such as
00:00:31
saurin test track Radiator Springs
00:00:34
Racers they also did the ret trcks for
00:00:36
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Space
00:00:38
Mountain and they would later go on to
00:00:39
do Harry Potter and the Forbidden
00:00:41
Journey for Universal the origin of the
00:00:43
sfx coaster however goes back to Revenge
00:00:45
of the Mummy though it was manufactured
00:00:47
by Premier rides Dynamic helped play a
00:00:49
part in it and once that ride was a huge
00:00:50
success they wanted to kick it up a
00:00:52
notch and really reimagine what an
00:00:54
indoor coaster could do little did they
00:00:56
know that this idea of theirs would
00:00:58
eventually lead to the collapse of the
00:01:00
company agents are you ready one Epic
00:01:05
Mission
00:01:07
awaits buckle up for a blockbuster of a
00:01:09
ride with high-speed launches backwards
00:01:13
inverted loops and the first ever
00:01:15
sideways coaster drop the world's most
00:01:18
immersive Mega coaster get ready for
00:01:21
Miss tested and approved by F1 scooteria
00:01:24
Ferrari driver Carlos signs
00:01:31
join the mission mission Ferrari would
00:01:34
go immensely over budget create a
00:01:36
seemingly never ending string of issues
00:01:38
and impact the industry in ways that we
00:01:39
didn't originally expect there is
00:01:42
however a silver lining in all this and
00:01:44
that is that the ride is actually pretty
00:01:45
awesome I had the fortunate opportunity
00:01:47
of experiencing Mission Ferrari multiple
00:01:49
times in February 2024 which was just
00:01:51
about a year after it opened and this
00:01:53
video we'll dive into the ride's history
00:01:55
the layout the complexity Rider
00:01:58
experience some of the issues it had and
00:02:00
more so first let's talk about Ferrari
00:02:02
World the park opened on Yas Island in
00:02:04
Abu Dhabi in 2010 and it was well
00:02:07
received but the biggest complaint was
00:02:08
that needed more rides with the upcoming
00:02:11
Dubai parks and Resorts set to open in
00:02:12
2016 the morale group who manages FY
00:02:15
World pushed to open three new coasters
00:02:17
back to back as an attempt to keep
00:02:19
people on Yas Island the three rides
00:02:20
were flying Aces Mission Ferrari and
00:02:23
turbo track only flying Aces would open
00:02:26
on time F world had a log flume that was
00:02:28
located right in the center of the park
00:02:30
they said we can NX this to put in a new
00:02:31
roller coaster they decided on an sfx
00:02:34
coaster which was a ride the dynamic
00:02:35
began developing back in 2012 the idea
00:02:38
was to have a story driven coaster with
00:02:40
lots of neat tricks things that you
00:02:42
wouldn't expect these included a gyro
00:02:44
table a sideway slide track a drop track
00:02:48
various tilt sections screens etc etc
00:02:51
there was 2 years of development it was
00:02:53
unveiled in 2014 and Ferrari World bit
00:02:55
with the intended opening of 2015 it
00:02:58
would not however open until 2023 a full
00:03:02
8 years of construction the covid-19
00:03:05
pandemic absolutely was a contributing
00:03:07
factor as well as issues with Dynamic
00:03:09
internally so much so that just two
00:03:11
months after mission Ferrari opened
00:03:13
Dynamic would enter bankruptcy
00:03:15
protection you know what we did with
00:03:17
this sfx coaster which we unveiled 3
00:03:20
years ago was we came up with the way
00:03:22
that the track could move too not just
00:03:24
the train so here we've got a track that
00:03:27
can tip up Suddenly and drop down what
00:03:29
if you're going along on a track and
00:03:31
suddenly the entire track slits sideways
00:03:33
so that's the sfx coaster the world's
00:03:36
first sfx coaster opens also in Spring
00:03:39
2019 so it's right around the corner
00:03:41
it's going to be in the Middle East and
00:03:43
uh that's just one of five we've got on
00:03:47
the drawing board so there's another one
00:03:49
you be following up immediately at
00:03:51
they're popular Mission F end up having
00:03:53
so many issues that Dynamic attractions
00:03:55
would have to pay over $10 million out
00:03:58
of pocket just to get it up been running
00:04:00
the price originally agreed on for the
00:04:02
attraction was 18.2 Million the final
00:04:05
cost was
00:04:06
28.3 million I'll go into a bit more
00:04:09
detail about the outcome of dynamic
00:04:10
attractions towards the end of the video
00:04:12
but let's dive into the actual ride
00:04:14
experience so we can better understand
00:04:16
why this happened in the first place so
00:04:18
we'll start with the premise of the
00:04:19
attraction the core story of mission
00:04:21
Ferrari is that you're there to deliver
00:04:23
a special spy car to Ferrari's Factory
00:04:26
in Italy but a rival organization called
00:04:28
the Vipers is there to steal it from
00:04:29
from you as you're approaching Mission
00:04:31
Ferrari all you can see is this big hill
00:04:33
in a cork screw everything else is
00:04:35
completely enclosed you have no idea
00:04:37
what this ride does upon entry when you
00:04:40
enter the queue you'll pass through a
00:04:41
laser Corridor there's some screens up
00:04:43
on the wall of some agents talking you
00:04:44
through what's going on there's a very
00:04:46
simple animatronic up top of someone
00:04:48
who's like in the control Booth all they
00:04:50
do is slide back and forth but it still
00:04:51
gets the job done when you enter the
00:04:53
station there are some small double-side
00:04:55
lockers to your left- hand side that you
00:04:56
can put some personal items in you're
00:04:58
encouraged not to have anything in your
00:05:00
pockets any larger items like backpacks
00:05:02
can actually go in free lockers outside
00:05:04
the ride which is a nice perk the actual
00:05:06
ride vehicles for Mission Ferrari are
00:05:09
huge but they only seat nine passengers
00:05:11
that's four riders in the front and five
00:05:13
in the back it's like a stadium seating
00:05:15
they're staggered so that each passenger
00:05:17
gets a clean view but also explains why
00:05:19
the actual track for this ride is
00:05:21
humongous it has this really wide gauge
00:05:24
and this massive backbone to accommodate
00:05:26
for this clunky looking vehicle that's
00:05:28
why I'll add when you see going around
00:05:30
the track it just looks a little odd
00:05:32
it's not your traditional roller coaster
00:05:33
car at all and the first thing you'll
00:05:35
notice before you even climb on board to
00:05:37
the coaster is that operations here are
00:05:40
not going to be the best Mission Ferrari
00:05:42
is a low capacity ride we timed their
00:05:44
operations and got an average of 2
00:05:46
minutes and 40 seconds between
00:05:48
dispatches that's an estimated hourly
00:05:50
capacity of around 200 people per hour
00:05:52
and that's assuming that they fill every
00:05:54
single seat which given the unusual
00:05:56
number of nine per car obviously that's
00:05:58
not always going to happen especially
00:06:00
since they do not have a single Rider
00:06:01
line regardless that is a horrible
00:06:03
number for a major ride at a major Park
00:06:06
that can do big attendance numbers I
00:06:08
know the original intention was to
00:06:10
dispatch every 40 seconds which would
00:06:12
lead to an hourly capacity of 810 people
00:06:14
per hour so the actual capacity is
00:06:16
significantly less than the theoretical
00:06:19
I believe that's because of the
00:06:20
procedures that are in place not because
00:06:22
of the operators themselves yes
00:06:24
sometimes you might have a guess that
00:06:25
requires a little extra time but because
00:06:27
of the ride system they can't send out
00:06:29
those Vehicles quickly with five
00:06:31
vehicles on the track in theory you
00:06:32
could dispatch every 90 seconds but it
00:06:34
seemed like the more you space out the
00:06:36
vehicles the lower the chances are of
00:06:38
this ride breaking down it's like the
00:06:40
ride can't handle so many vehicles being
00:06:42
on the track at once and that became
00:06:44
obvious when the vehicle was ready to go
00:06:46
but the r Ops would stand around clearly
00:06:48
waiting on something to happen before
00:06:50
hitting go cuz even though we
00:06:51
encountered some rough operations at
00:06:53
Ferrar world this seemed to be the one
00:06:55
team that was consistent about trying to
00:06:57
load trains quickly and let me just say
00:06:59
there are a lot of ride Ops that would
00:07:01
work this ride it was a huge team and
00:07:04
I'll talk about why that might be a prom
00:07:06
a little bit later on but let's get into
00:07:07
this layout when you roll out of the
00:07:09
station you enter this dark Corridor
00:07:11
turning to the left you'll come to a
00:07:12
stop next to a screen on your right hand
00:07:14
side there's a technician working on the
00:07:16
tricked out car and he shows you some of
00:07:18
its features actually depending on when
00:07:20
you ride this you might get a different
00:07:22
scene they'll blast it with fire so you
00:07:23
can see how it withstands heat they'll
00:07:25
cover it in ice so you can see it can
00:07:26
withstand the cold it's really cool and
00:07:28
they also have a moment where the the
00:07:29
car like backs up so you can better see
00:07:31
what's going on it like gives the
00:07:32
vehicle some personality almost more of
00:07:34
a Dark Ride kind of effect which this
00:07:36
ride is a true hybrid between roller
00:07:38
coaster and dark ride from there you
00:07:40
move on into this quiet outdoor Street
00:07:42
there's a screen to your right and then
00:07:44
a facade directly ahead where you can
00:07:45
see it looks like a house and then some
00:07:47
search lights comes on the Vipers have
00:07:49
found you there's an awesome effect
00:07:51
where a motorcyclist comes out on the
00:07:52
screen they'll start shooting at you to
00:07:54
your right an actual vehicle appears
00:07:56
with an animatronic of a guy shining a
00:07:58
laser on you and then that's when you
00:08:00
hit your launch you accelerate up to a
00:08:03
maximum speed of 44 mph and this
00:08:05
actually came as a surprise to us
00:08:07
because they have a door that blocks off
00:08:08
the launch section so you can't see
00:08:10
what's ahead but once the door opens you
00:08:12
take off and shoot into the outside you
00:08:15
have the big airtime pop in the cork
00:08:16
screw overall the front of the train is
00:08:18
the smoothest if you ride in the back
00:08:20
though you might get a little bit more
00:08:22
whip on the cork screw and then you
00:08:23
plunge back inside and you hit a
00:08:25
midcourse breake run during the scene
00:08:27
you are surrounded by screens on all
00:08:29
sides it's set up to look like a bridge
00:08:30
you have a Viper vehicle speeding
00:08:32
towards you helicopters appear from all
00:08:34
sides and they start shooting at you
00:08:35
you'll once again back up a little I
00:08:37
like how it tries to sync up the media
00:08:40
with your vehicle it doesn't entirely
00:08:42
work but it was a good attempt I also
00:08:44
dig this Blaster fire that goes over
00:08:45
your head that's a nice effect and then
00:08:47
suddenly the helicopter crashes into the
00:08:49
vehicle there's a big explosion and then
00:08:51
you hit launch number two it's not very
00:08:53
powerful and it honestly might feel like
00:08:55
the vehicle is just rolling forward but
00:08:57
the thing is that this is not actually a
00:08:59
flat flat section of track like a
00:09:01
traditional midcourse there's a very so
00:09:03
slight incline so the vehicle has to
00:09:04
launch to travel uphill and then drop
00:09:07
down below the screens so you dip down
00:09:09
and enter a mostly in thee dark section
00:09:12
mimicking the feeling of you speeding
00:09:14
along these windy roads at night it's a
00:09:16
left-and bank and then you switch to the
00:09:18
right it's brief but you can see there's
00:09:19
like a screen there of like another car
00:09:21
that's trying to get you so you'll once
00:09:22
again come to a stop at another brake
00:09:24
section this one is set up to look like
00:09:26
a sewer tunnel there's onboard audio in
00:09:28
the vehicle so you'll hear an agent
00:09:30
saying well done now get to the Ferrari
00:09:32
factory you'll slowly turn to the right
00:09:33
and eventually park at the edge of an
00:09:35
IMAX projection Dome then there's a long
00:09:38
pause you're waiting for something to
00:09:39
happen you can see the city skyline out
00:09:41
in front of you some mountains and then
00:09:43
the Viper helicopters appear they've got
00:09:45
you and this is where we have one of
00:09:46
mission ferrar's coolest tricks the lead
00:09:48
helicopter latches onto your vehicle
00:09:50
with this tracking beam and the whole
00:09:52
track tilts downward you're now in the
00:09:55
Seesaw section and what's amazing about
00:09:57
this is that through the projections
00:09:59
they make it appear like you're rotating
00:10:01
all around when in actuality this seesaw
00:10:04
only has one degree of motion you can
00:10:06
til up and you can tilt down but if you
00:10:08
didn't know that you'd think that you're
00:10:09
on this gyro table rotating in any
00:10:11
direction it is a very very cool optical
00:10:14
illusion during one of our rides this
00:10:16
screen was not working and so we are
00:10:18
still doing the Tilt section but without
00:10:20
the visuals and then that's where we
00:10:22
could really realize okay we're actually
00:10:24
just tilting up and down but right as
00:10:25
you're tilted in this upward angle the
00:10:27
helicopters explode they let go of you
00:10:29
and you drop backwards that is launch
00:10:32
number three which you might not expect
00:10:34
because at first it just feels like
00:10:35
you're being released backwards similar
00:10:37
to like any voma Boomerang but then
00:10:39
about half a second in you accelerate so
00:10:42
you have even more momentum to make it
00:10:44
through the next element and this whole
00:10:46
section right here came as a total
00:10:47
surprise to us we completely avoided
00:10:49
spoilers we didn't even know the ride
00:10:50
went backwards at all however upon
00:10:52
entering that Dome where you're
00:10:53
literally at the edge of the track the
00:10:55
next logical step was to send us
00:10:57
backwards in some way but we didn't know
00:10:59
it was going to release a s angle and we
00:11:01
definitely didn't know that a backwards
00:11:03
vertical Loop would follow so this
00:11:05
sequence of events of the Dome with the
00:11:07
backwards launch and the vertical Loop
00:11:09
was probably the biggest highlight of
00:11:11
mission Ferrari for me the backwards
00:11:13
launch was surprisingly Punchy the
00:11:15
vertical Loop was awesome and it's
00:11:17
completely in the dark you can see in
00:11:18
this promo footage that they're using
00:11:19
some flashing strobe lights that was
00:11:21
just for the commercial in reality it is
00:11:24
Pitch Black in there you're banking to
00:11:26
the right through the darkness there's a
00:11:27
practical helicopter that goes is right
00:11:29
over your head you drop down again
00:11:31
turning to the side and then you come to
00:11:33
a stop you are now on the streets of
00:11:35
Italy where the Ferrari factory is and
00:11:37
you think that you finally lost the
00:11:38
Vipers there was a moment we were like
00:11:40
is this the end of the ride like is that
00:11:42
it but you're not done suddenly on the
00:11:44
screen to your right a missile shoots
00:11:46
out exploding at the ground and lifts
00:11:48
the cars off the ground in slow motion
00:11:51
it's an awesome effect that distracts
00:11:53
you from the fact that you're now on a
00:11:55
sideways slide track you'll move slowly
00:11:58
to the left drop down suddenly and come
00:12:00
to a stop and that is the big finale for
00:12:02
Mission Ferrari it was a really cool
00:12:04
effect that we've never experienced
00:12:06
before I will add it is very very
00:12:09
trimmed so it definitely felt kind of
00:12:11
janky but I imagine if those trims
00:12:13
weren't there those brakes would be a
00:12:15
little too harsh probably the point
00:12:16
where it'd be uncomfortable the closest
00:12:18
thing that I would compare this sequence
00:12:20
to is the very end of primordial at
00:12:23
Lagoon in Utah that ride also has a
00:12:25
slide section but that one was a lot
00:12:27
more fluid which makes sense because
00:12:29
even though these rides opened around
00:12:31
the same time primordial is using newer
00:12:33
technology if Mission Ferrari was set to
00:12:35
open in 2015 then in theory we're using
00:12:39
2013 technology cuz it was 2 years of
00:12:42
development for a ride that would open
00:12:44
10 years later and I think that's one of
00:12:46
the big reasons why this ride is kind of
00:12:48
a mess there is a lot going on here from
00:12:51
the onboard audio system provided to us
00:12:53
by holis there's a custom score that was
00:12:56
done for the ride in New Zealand you
00:12:57
have the multiple launches which are
00:12:59
provided by velocity magnetics for those
00:13:01
familiar yes that is the same company
00:13:03
that is responsible for lightning rods
00:13:05
launch at Dollywood we all know how much
00:13:07
of a headache that was combine that with
00:13:08
the fact that there were so many
00:13:10
different problems with commissioning
00:13:11
literally one thing after another that
00:13:13
some effects got completely cut from The
00:13:15
Ride the most notable one is fire that
00:13:17
would take place in that last show scene
00:13:19
with a sideways slid track and then
00:13:21
lastly arguably the biggest issue
00:13:23
because this is the one that will be
00:13:25
heavily noticed by the Riders themselves
00:13:27
some very odd moments of pacing the ride
00:13:31
at times had multiple moments of awkward
00:13:33
silence because you could tell the media
00:13:35
that was created for the ride was
00:13:37
designed around a certain amount of
00:13:39
allotted time that would take the
00:13:41
vehicle to move from point A to point B
00:13:43
but clearly because of one issue or
00:13:45
another it takes significantly longer to
00:13:48
move on to the next scene the biggest
00:13:50
culprit is the transition into the Tilt
00:13:52
section where it takes the train a full
00:13:54
35 seconds to park so as cool as the
00:13:57
ride is the entire experience as a whole
00:14:00
has multiple moments where it just feels
00:14:02
off like there should be something
00:14:04
happening either audibly or visually to
00:14:07
help move the scene along but instead
00:14:09
there's nothing going on which brings me
00:14:11
back to that I believe that the system
00:14:12
for this ride just can't get overloaded
00:14:14
or else is fear of going down this ride
00:14:17
is unreliable to say the least even
00:14:19
after it opened to the public it has
00:14:22
significant moments of downtime we just
00:14:24
happen to get lucky where it was
00:14:25
actually open in the first place I know
00:14:27
so many people that have tried to go to
00:14:29
Ferrari World and not been able to ride
00:14:31
Mission Ferrari I think what it comes
00:14:33
down to is that this ride is just overly
00:14:36
complicated like complicated for the
00:14:39
sake of being complicated not in the
00:14:41
ideas of the ride but in the engineering
00:14:44
I believe that the same concept could
00:14:46
have been done but simplified I already
00:14:49
cited primordial Lagoon that is a
00:14:51
perfect example of another sfx style
00:14:54
coaster but done in-house or for those
00:14:56
of you familiar with Uncharted at Port
00:14:58
of entura that's an intimate coaster
00:15:00
that's kind of their own take on an sfx
00:15:02
ride you even go back to Harry Potter
00:15:04
and the escape from grots at Universal
00:15:06
same general idea but by intimate and
00:15:09
it's got a lot more fluid motions and is
00:15:11
absolutely more reliable and I
00:15:13
understand that because this is a
00:15:14
prototype things were bound to happen
00:15:16
but even with other prototypes they
00:15:18
don't have the same issues that mission
00:15:20
Ferraris had and I think Dynamic was
00:15:22
just overly ambitious right after
00:15:24
mission Ferrari opened they said they
00:15:26
would never build another sfx coaster
00:15:29
again they said if any other companies
00:15:30
want to build one they are happy to lend
00:15:32
engineering support but they would not
00:15:34
take the risk and construct one again
00:15:36
and it's important to note that this
00:15:38
statement was made after they took the
00:15:40
risk and constructed one again enter
00:15:42
Alien versus Predator at Genting Sky
00:15:45
worlds in Malaysia this is the sequel
00:15:47
ride to Mission Ferrari that will likely
00:15:50
never open if we want to get technical
00:15:52
here it's really the two projects here
00:15:54
at Genting Sky worlds that were the nail
00:15:56
and the coffin for this company Dynamic
00:15:58
spent a total of
00:16:00
$26.4 million to get this sfx coaster
00:16:04
working and in order to finish it it
00:16:06
would require an additional $16 million
00:16:10
that's because what you're looking at
00:16:11
here on the outside is all that this
00:16:13
ride is that building is mostly empty
00:16:16
this ride is so far from being completed
00:16:18
the much more likely option is that
00:16:20
Genting Sky worlds will cancel the
00:16:22
contract and just demand that all of the
00:16:24
ride components be removed from the
00:16:26
property so that they can do something
00:16:27
else with the space now luckily the
00:16:29
other ride at Genting Sky world's mad
00:16:31
ramp Peak is supposedly 95% complete so
00:16:34
that probably will open but
00:16:36
unfortunately they're going to have to
00:16:37
spend another $1.5 million to do so when
00:16:40
they've already spent 30.7 million on it
00:16:44
when the original agreed price was 24
00:16:46
million so again that's another $6
00:16:49
million that Dynamic is paying out of
00:16:51
pocket to get this ride finished so it's
00:16:53
a miracle that mission Ferrari opened at
00:16:56
all but now that Dynamic is more less
00:16:59
done I think this ride is much more
00:17:02
likely to have a shorter lifespan than
00:17:04
intended Dynamic still has a parts and
00:17:07
service team that they can provide
00:17:09
support to fory world if they need it
00:17:10
but you're still going to need someone
00:17:11
to manufacture those parts which Dynamic
00:17:14
isn't able to do anymore so if I had to
00:17:16
take a guess I don't think this ride
00:17:18
will make it 10 years it is so
00:17:20
problematic and I think will continue to
00:17:22
be problematic that if I were at Ferrari
00:17:24
World I would take it out to put in
00:17:26
something new in its spot and I would
00:17:28
much sooner remove this before a ride
00:17:30
like formula Rosa or flying Aces even
00:17:33
though those rides are older and
00:17:34
remember how I mentioned that this ride
00:17:35
requires a huge team to operate let's
00:17:38
say that you're short staffed this is
00:17:39
going to be the first ride to not open
00:17:40
for the day they're going to send those
00:17:42
team members elsewhere when they can get
00:17:43
multiple attractions up and running with
00:17:45
the same amount of people which is sad
00:17:47
to hear because again the ride is good
00:17:50
the ride absolutely has its issues but
00:17:51
it's still very creative and leads
00:17:54
Riders guessing what is coming next so
00:17:57
as a rider I'm giving mission Ferrari an
00:17:59
8 out of 10 the tricks are awesome and
00:18:02
the production value is high but the
00:18:03
pacing can be awkward and it's common
00:18:05
that not all the effects will work every
00:18:07
time plus it definitely has this janky
00:18:09
moments as it rides along the track but
00:18:11
I think the average Rider will be able
00:18:12
to forgive those things and still have
00:18:14
an awesome time on this ride and really
00:18:16
I just think it's a shame that all this
00:18:18
happens surrounding this coaster because
00:18:20
the idea behind it is fantastic I would
00:18:23
love to see something like this at
00:18:24
Universal like Harry Potter and the
00:18:26
escape from grots is Awesome with all
00:18:28
its tricks and thematics but it needs
00:18:30
more roller coaster sections which is
00:18:32
exactly what this has imagine this style
00:18:34
but as Mario Kart or fast and the
00:18:37
furious it'd be heck of a lot better
00:18:38
than the supercharged ride we got or
00:18:40
Sarah's idea was you take this ride
00:18:41
system do a very outlandish over-the-top
00:18:44
version of SpongeBob's boating school in
00:18:46
like a bikini bottomland that would be
00:18:48
so fun the possibilities are endless
00:18:50
which is why it is sad that this is the
00:18:52
end of the sfx coaster from Dynamic
00:18:54
attractions but my hope is that we see
00:18:56
other manufacturers in particular inin
00:18:59
take on the style and build more story
00:19:01
driven experiences at theme parks around
00:19:04
the world and I hope this ride doesn't
00:19:06
deter other Parks from trying to do a
00:19:09
Ride Like That from other companies as
00:19:11
for what happened to Dynamic attractions
00:19:13
the company entered debt protection in
00:19:14
2023 when they filed with the company's
00:19:16
creditors Arrangement Act of Canada it
00:19:18
was to protect creditors from seizing
00:19:20
their assets but they likely had a bunch
00:19:22
of loans and other Financial
00:19:23
restructures prior to this because after
00:19:25
overspending on the development of the
00:19:26
sfx coaster they had a loss of over over
00:19:28
$20 million so the company was sold in
00:19:31
May of 2023 to a Hong Kong based group
00:19:34
for a cost of $2 million and we'll just
00:19:37
have to wait and see what ends up
00:19:38
happening to it but that is Mission
00:19:39
Ferrari AR ride that is filled with many
00:19:41
unexpected twists and turns and has a
00:19:43
story behind it that somehow has even
00:19:46
more unexpected twists and turns so let
00:19:49
me know down in the comments below if
00:19:50
you've had the opportunity to experience
00:19:52
Mission Ferrari if you agree with the
00:19:54
points that I brought up or if you plan
00:19:55
to visit the park soon I hope it is
00:19:57
operating for you and of course stay
00:19:59
tuned for more here at coaster Studios
00:20:01
and I'll see you next time
