Dhankhar On Supreme Court | "Nuclear Missile Against...": VP's All-Out Attack On Top Court
- 00:00:00I've created a complete blueprint in
- 00:00:02rocket League to rank up no matter what
- 00:00:04rank you are you could be silver gold
- 00:00:07Grand champ Diamond it does not matter
- 00:00:10this works for every single Rank and
- 00:00:12this is going to be the most in-depth
- 00:00:14video I have ever made so grab a bag of
- 00:00:17popcorn and enjoy let's Dive Into the
- 00:00:19Heart of Rocket League car control no
- 00:00:22matter how good your gam s becomes or
- 00:00:25how well you understand positioning if
- 00:00:27you can't control your car precisely
- 00:00:30you'll always be limited in what you can
- 00:00:32do on the field good car control isn't
- 00:00:35just about moving fast it's about moving
- 00:00:38efficiently and accurately you should be
- 00:00:40able to maneuver your car in any
- 00:00:42direction adjust midair recover quickly
- 00:00:45and hit the ball with Precision let's
- 00:00:47break down the essential mechanics that
- 00:00:49will form the foundation of your car
- 00:00:51control the first one's going to be
- 00:00:53dribbling dribbling is one of the most
- 00:00:55important skills to master because when
- 00:00:58you dribble the ball you're maintaining
- 00:01:00close control which allows you to set up
- 00:01:02plays fake out opponents and even slow
- 00:01:05the game down when you need to if you
- 00:01:07can dribble well you can pretty much
- 00:01:09turn any game into one that you can
- 00:01:11control start by practicing ball control
- 00:01:15and free play Drive slowly towards the
- 00:01:17ball and try to keep it on top of your
- 00:01:19car by making small gentle adjustments
- 00:01:22this will help you learn how to move the
- 00:01:24ball without losing control a great way
- 00:01:27to practice dribbling is to use custom
- 00:01:29Training packs
- 00:01:30specifically designed for ball control
- 00:01:33start with really simple dribbles then
- 00:01:35move on to Turning with the ball and
- 00:01:38Performing small flicks and then
- 00:01:40gradually increase the difficulty as you
- 00:01:42become more comfortable as you improve
- 00:01:44you're going to need to work on
- 00:01:45dribbling under pressure in higher ranks
- 00:01:48opponents will be challenging you pretty
- 00:01:50much instantly so you need to practice
- 00:01:52keeping the ball in your car while also
- 00:01:54looking and being aware for
- 00:01:56opportunities to flick or pass or being
- 00:01:58insta challenged speaking of flicks
- 00:02:01let's talk about that a flick is when
- 00:02:03you use a quick movement to Pop the ball
- 00:02:06off of your car and typically over a
- 00:02:09Defender it's a really good way to beat
- 00:02:11an opponent in a one V one situation to
- 00:02:14practice flicks start by dribbling the
- 00:02:16ball slowly once the ball is balanced on
- 00:02:19your car perform a front flip or a side
- 00:02:22flip to launch it over an imaginary
- 00:02:24Defender start with really basic flicks
- 00:02:27and then move on to more Advanced
- 00:02:28Techniques like the 5 flick I actually
- 00:02:31have a complete flick tutorial I'll have
- 00:02:33in the description of this video if you
- 00:02:35guys want a complete breakdown on flicks
- 00:02:37alone a good flick happens just as your
- 00:02:40opponent is about to challenge if you
- 00:02:42flick too early you give the defender a
- 00:02:44chance to react if you flick too late
- 00:02:46you're probably going to get challenged
- 00:02:48before you can even get the ball over
- 00:02:50the opponent the key here is patience
- 00:02:52and you need to wait until the defender
- 00:02:54commits before you flick the ball
- 00:02:56Aerials are absolutely essential once
- 00:02:59you get to the higher ranks at these
- 00:03:00levels most of the game is played in the
- 00:03:02air and the faster and more controlled
- 00:03:05you are the more success you'll have but
- 00:03:07it's not just about jumping and boosting
- 00:03:10it's about learning to adjust and
- 00:03:11control your car while being in the air
- 00:03:14you need to start with basic Aerials in
- 00:03:16free play practice jumping and boosting
- 00:03:20towards the ball but instead of just
- 00:03:22trying to hit it focus on controlling
- 00:03:24your car's orientation and what I mean
- 00:03:26by that is just use slight adjustments
- 00:03:29with your joystick to pretty much be as
- 00:03:31precise as you can and what this will do
- 00:03:34is it will help you keep your car really
- 00:03:36aligned with the ball and as you improve
- 00:03:39begin incorporating a roll a roll really
- 00:03:42helps you be even more precise
- 00:03:44especially with your position mid air
- 00:03:46allowing you to hit the ball more
- 00:03:47accurately and you can also get more
- 00:03:49power start with basic arrows then try
- 00:03:52more complex things like continuously
- 00:03:55air rolling while aiming for the ball
- 00:03:57aerial control doesn't stop at hitting
- 00:03:59the ball though you also need to master
- 00:04:01recoveries after making an aerial play
- 00:04:03you should be able to land smoothly on
- 00:04:05your wheels so that you can recover
- 00:04:07quickly so that you can get to the next
- 00:04:09position on the field you can actually
- 00:04:11use flips from either Flip resets or
- 00:04:14touching the ceiling or touching a wall
- 00:04:17you can empty flip down to the ground to
- 00:04:18get there quicker so that's something
- 00:04:20that I personally use a lot and you can
- 00:04:22also use air roll to help you turn back
- 00:04:25on your wheels if you're upside down or
- 00:04:27if you're not completely straight and
- 00:04:29this will will help you get back to the
- 00:04:30ground quicker than you would normally
- 00:04:32the faster you recover after an aerial
- 00:04:35the quicker you can rotate back into
- 00:04:36position making you more effective on
- 00:04:39both offense and defense try practicing
- 00:04:42aerial recoveries by jumping off of the
- 00:04:44walls or the ceilings in free play and
- 00:04:47the more you practice Landing smoothly
- 00:04:49and maintaining control the quicker
- 00:04:51you'll be able to recover after a shot
- 00:04:53or even after a challenge shooting is
- 00:04:55one of those skills that can be improved
- 00:04:58no matter what your rank is is at higher
- 00:05:00levels players don't just shoot at the
- 00:05:02net they shoot with precision and power
- 00:05:05making it really difficult for the
- 00:05:07player in the goal to react good
- 00:05:09shooting is all about accuracy and
- 00:05:11placement practice shooting with both
- 00:05:14power and precision and free play or
- 00:05:16custom Training packs focus on hitting
- 00:05:19the ball with the corners of your car to
- 00:05:21generate more power I actually have a
- 00:05:23complete shooting tutorial I'll have
- 00:05:25that in the description as well as the
- 00:05:27flick tutorial when you're shooting aim
- 00:05:29the top corners or bottom corners of the
- 00:05:32net where it's harder for Defenders to
- 00:05:34save work on shooting from Awkward
- 00:05:36angles because in most games you won't
- 00:05:39have perfect straight open Nets so you
- 00:05:42need to get comfortable shooting from
- 00:05:43the sides or really uncomfortable angles
- 00:05:46like coming off of a wall practice
- 00:05:48hitting the ball off of the wall and
- 00:05:50timing your shot for maximum accuracy in
- 00:05:52a really common misconception is lower
- 00:05:55ranks thinking that shooting is just all
- 00:05:57about hitting it as hard as you can
- 00:05:59sometimes I well-placed shot is way more
- 00:06:01effective than a powerful one learning
- 00:06:03to mix up your shots like low high slow
- 00:06:07fast will really keep Defenders guessing
- 00:06:09and will increase your chances of
- 00:06:10scoring and you can use training packs
- 00:06:13that focus on redirects and double
- 00:06:15touches these are way more advanced
- 00:06:17shooting techniques to be honest but
- 00:06:19they allow you to hit the ball twice in
- 00:06:20midair and they give you more
- 00:06:22opportunities to score from difficult
- 00:06:24angles another key to shooting is
- 00:06:27reading the player in the goal before
- 00:06:29you shoot
- 00:06:30take a look at the player in the goal's
- 00:06:32position a high shot might go over them
- 00:06:35if they're hugging the goal line a low
- 00:06:37bouncing shot could easily go behind
- 00:06:39them now that we understand shooting at
- 00:06:40a basic level let's move on to
- 00:06:42positioning and rotation rocket league
- 00:06:45is a really fast-paced chaotic game and
- 00:06:48knowing where to be and when to rotate
- 00:06:50can often make the difference between
- 00:06:52winning and losing you could have the
- 00:06:54best mechanics in the world but without
- 00:06:57good positioning you'll be out of place
- 00:06:59in Fr L ineffective good rotation is
- 00:07:02essential in rocket League especially in
- 00:07:042v2 and 3v3 because there's really no
- 00:07:07such thing is rotating in 1 V one but in
- 00:07:092v2 and 3v3 it's all about keeping your
- 00:07:12team balanced if one player's attacking
- 00:07:14another should be supporting and the
- 00:07:16third should be ready to defend the key
- 00:07:19is constant movement and communication
- 00:07:22always be thinking about your role in
- 00:07:23the rotation if you've just taken a shot
- 00:07:26rotate back and let your teammates move
- 00:07:28forward don't stay too close to the play
- 00:07:31or chase the ball after your shot just
- 00:07:33rotate to a position where you can
- 00:07:34support from a distance or defend if
- 00:07:37needed when rotating back on defense
- 00:07:39always cover the back post this
- 00:07:41positioning allows you to cover more
- 00:07:43angles and gives you a better chance to
- 00:07:46make a save by rotating to the back post
- 00:07:49you avoid cutting across the goal which
- 00:07:51could block your teammate's or it could
- 00:07:53even put you in a bad position to try to
- 00:07:55make a save one of the most important
- 00:07:57aspects of rotation is recovery like we
- 00:08:00mentioned earlier after making a play
- 00:08:02you need to recover quickly so you're
- 00:08:04going to have to use these things that
- 00:08:05we talked about earlier but you're also
- 00:08:07going to want to incorporate things like
- 00:08:08half flips and wave dashes mastering
- 00:08:11half flips will allow you to turn around
- 00:08:13really quickly especially when you find
- 00:08:15yourself facing the wrong way after a
- 00:08:17play a half flip involves flipping
- 00:08:20backwards and then canceling the flip
- 00:08:22Midway through letting you land Face
- 00:08:25Forward learn to use wave dashes to
- 00:08:27maintain Speed without burning through
- 00:08:29your Boost a wave Dash is when you jump
- 00:08:32and flip into the ground at a little bit
- 00:08:34of an angle giving you extra momentum
- 00:08:36without needing to use any boost this is
- 00:08:39especially helpful for rotating back
- 00:08:41quickly after a challenge good
- 00:08:43positioning means being in the right
- 00:08:46place at the right time if you're too
- 00:08:48far forward or too far back you'll
- 00:08:50either miss an opportunity or leave your
- 00:08:53goal open effective positioning allows
- 00:08:56you to be a threat on offense while
- 00:08:58still being ready to defend if needed on
- 00:09:01defense don't rush out to challenge the
- 00:09:03ball right away sometimes it's better to
- 00:09:05Hold Your Position and force the
- 00:09:07opponent to make the first move this is
- 00:09:09called Shadow defense you stay between
- 00:09:11the ball and your goal and what you're
- 00:09:14doing is you're waiting for the opponent
- 00:09:15to commit which allows you to react and
- 00:09:18make a more effective Challenge on
- 00:09:20offense always be thinking about how you
- 00:09:22can support the play if your teammate is
- 00:09:24dribbling position yourself where you
- 00:09:26can either receive a pass or you can
- 00:09:29follow up if they lose possession avoid
- 00:09:31crowding the ball or pushing too far
- 00:09:33forward as this will leave you
- 00:09:34vulnerable to counterattacks positioning
- 00:09:37also applies to Midfield play staying in
- 00:09:39the Midfield area allows you to
- 00:09:41intercept clears from the opponent and
- 00:09:43you can also keep pressure on their goal
- 00:09:45at the same time it gives you a quick
- 00:09:47route to rotate back if needed and if
- 00:09:49you're in the Midfield always be ready
- 00:09:51to either challenge the ball or rotate
- 00:09:54back to defense if your teammates are
- 00:09:56attacking position yourself near the
- 00:09:58center of the field to cut off any clear
- 00:10:01attempts by the opponent if your team
- 00:10:03loses possession rotate back immediately
- 00:10:05to cover the goal good positioning in
- 00:10:07rotation takes a lot of time to develop
- 00:10:10but they are the keys to consistent
- 00:10:12gameplay if you master these you'll find
- 00:10:15that your team's defense improves and
- 00:10:17you'll create more offensive
- 00:10:19opportunities for yourself lastly let's
- 00:10:21talk about boost management boost is one
- 00:10:24of the most valuable resources in rocket
- 00:10:26league and how you manage it can be a
- 00:10:28huge difference and your Effectiveness
- 00:10:30on the field a lot of players especially
- 00:10:33in lower ranks waste boost by using it
- 00:10:35at the wrong times or going out of
- 00:10:38position just to grab the big boosts one
- 00:10:40of the most common mistakes is relying
- 00:10:42too much on the large 100 boost pad
- 00:10:46while these pads are great for topping
- 00:10:47off your Boost chasing them at the wrong
- 00:10:50time can take you out of the play and
- 00:10:51leave your goal wide open focus on
- 00:10:54collecting small boost pads each one
- 00:10:56gives you 12 boost and they're scattered
- 00:10:58all over the field allowing you to stay
- 00:11:00in the play while keeping your Boost
- 00:11:02levels High grabbing small pads while
- 00:11:05rotating will ensure you always have
- 00:11:07enough boost to challenge or recover
- 00:11:09without leaving your teammate vulnerable
- 00:11:11pay attention to your opponent's boost
- 00:11:13levels too this is a little bit more
- 00:11:15difficult but if you notice that they're
- 00:11:16low on Boost challenge them more
- 00:11:18aggressively because they'll be less
- 00:11:20likely to make an effective play and
- 00:11:22you'll be more likely to make an
- 00:11:23effective play and you'll also have a
- 00:11:25better chance of winning the next
- 00:11:26possession another important aspect of
- 00:11:29Boo boost management is knowing when to
- 00:11:31conserve your Boost a lot of players
- 00:11:33make the mistake of holding down the
- 00:11:34Boost button constantly which leads to
- 00:11:37running out at crucial moments use boost
- 00:11:40sparingly and rely on your car's natural
- 00:11:43speed for most of your movement you
- 00:11:45don't need to hold down the Boost button
- 00:11:47just to get around the field Instead try
- 00:11:49using short bursts of boost to adjust
- 00:11:52your positioning and it will also save
- 00:11:54the rest of the Boost you need for
- 00:11:55challenges Aerials and recoveries
- 00:11:58practice using wave dashes and flip
- 00:12:00resets to conserve boosts these
- 00:12:03techniques allow you to move quickly
- 00:12:06around the field without burning through
- 00:12:08your Boost reserves which can be a
- 00:12:09complete GameChanger when you're low on
- 00:12:11Boost and mastering boost management
- 00:12:14will give you a huge advantage in both
- 00:12:16offense and defense you'll be able to
- 00:12:18stay in the play for longer and you'll
- 00:12:20be able to make more effective
- 00:12:21challenges and you'll be able to recover
- 00:12:24more quickly and efficiently after
- 00:12:26making a save or a shot so that's it for
- 00:12:28level one that's just the fundamentals
- 00:12:31the essentials car control positioning
- 00:12:32and rotation and boost management let's
- 00:12:35get into level two now all right we have
- 00:12:37finished level one the fundamentals now
- 00:12:39onto level two this is going to be
- 00:12:41slightly more difficult but it's the
- 00:12:43game sense this is the mental side of
- 00:12:46Rocket League where you learn to read
- 00:12:48the game make smart decisions and just
- 00:12:51understand what's happening on the field
- 00:12:52at all times let's start with
- 00:12:55decision-making one of the most
- 00:12:57important aspects of game sense
- 00:12:59every moment in rocket League you're
- 00:13:01making choices when to challenge when to
- 00:13:04rotate when to shoot when to pass as you
- 00:13:07improve your ability to make the right
- 00:13:09decision at the right time will
- 00:13:11completely separate you from other
- 00:13:13players when you're attacking you need
- 00:13:16to make smart decisions that will keep
- 00:13:18pressure on the opponent while giving
- 00:13:20you the best chance to score so you need
- 00:13:23to learn to recognize when it's a good
- 00:13:25time to challenge the ball and when to
- 00:13:27back off if you're not in the the best
- 00:13:29position to hit the ball nine times out
- 00:13:31of 10 it's better to rotate back and let
- 00:13:34a teammate challenge being aggressive at
- 00:13:36the wrong time can leave you and your
- 00:13:38team vulnerable to counterattacks when
- 00:13:41you're deciding to shoot ask yourself is
- 00:13:45this a high percentage shot or am I just
- 00:13:47hitting the ball because I can shooting
- 00:13:50when there's a low chance of scoring can
- 00:13:52often waste a good opportunity the only
- 00:13:55caveat to this situation is if you're
- 00:13:57shooting to make the opponent's POS
- 00:13:59position worse so if you're shooting a
- 00:14:00high shot that's maybe offt Target that
- 00:14:02they're going to jump for or just making
- 00:14:04them panic but aside from that if you
- 00:14:06give the ball back to the opponent
- 00:14:07easily it's a mistake 10 out of 10 times
- 00:14:10part of offensive decision- making also
- 00:14:12involves knowing when to pass in lower
- 00:14:15ranks players tend to take shots no
- 00:14:17matter what and even when a teammate is
- 00:14:20in a better position they decide to
- 00:14:22shoot so to combat this you need to be
- 00:14:25more aware of your teammates positions
- 00:14:28if you see a teammate rotating into a
- 00:14:30better spot to shoot or challenge pass
- 00:14:33the ball to them instead of forcing a
- 00:14:34bad shot passing creates opportunities
- 00:14:37for quick unexpected plays that
- 00:14:40opponents will struggle to defend
- 00:14:41against don't be afraid to slow the game
- 00:14:43down on offense if your teammates aren't
- 00:14:46ready or the opponents are well
- 00:14:48positioned defensively it's okay to
- 00:14:50control the ball and reset the attack
- 00:14:53keeping possession is often better than
- 00:14:56throwing the ball away with a rushed
- 00:14:58shot decision making on defense is just
- 00:15:01as important if offense if not more so
- 00:15:04because poor decisions often lead
- 00:15:06directly to goals against you you need
- 00:15:08to be thinking about your challenges on
- 00:15:10defense don't rush challenges when
- 00:15:13you're defending you don't need to dive
- 00:15:15in and challenge the ball immediately
- 00:15:18Sometimes the best option is to back off
- 00:15:21Shadow defend and then force them to
- 00:15:24make a play by giving yourself more time
- 00:15:27to react you'll make better more
- 00:15:29controlled challenges always be thinking
- 00:15:32about positioning on defense when
- 00:15:35rotating back cover the back post and
- 00:15:37when challenging make sure your
- 00:15:39teammates are in position to rotate
- 00:15:40behind you if you're unsure of your
- 00:15:42teammates positioning it's better to
- 00:15:44play more conservatively until you're
- 00:15:46confident in your defensive setup a
- 00:15:49really common mistake in defense is
- 00:15:51overcommit when trying to make a save if
- 00:15:54you miss the ball or you leave your goal
- 00:15:56open it's an easy goal for the opponent
- 00:15:59instead focus on positioning yourself to
- 00:16:02cover the Angles and staying patient for
- 00:16:05the right moment to challenge now we're
- 00:16:07going to go into reading the play
- 00:16:10reading the play is one of the most
- 00:16:12advanced parts of game sense because
- 00:16:14you're trying to predict what's going on
- 00:16:16and it's something that sets highle
- 00:16:18players apart from the rest because
- 00:16:20obviously predicting what people are
- 00:16:21doing is very difficult part of reading
- 00:16:24the play is learning to anticipate what
- 00:16:27your opponents are going to do the the
- 00:16:29more you play the better you'll get at
- 00:16:31recognizing certain patterns and
- 00:16:34behaviors from players but to get good
- 00:16:37at this quickly you need to pay
- 00:16:38attention to your opponent's body
- 00:16:40language if you see them moving towards
- 00:16:43the ball in a certain way you can often
- 00:16:45anticipate whether they're going for a
- 00:16:47pass shot or clear for example a player
- 00:16:50lining up for a direct hit on the ball
- 00:16:53is probably going for a clear whereas a
- 00:16:55slower approach might be indicative that
- 00:16:58they're going for for a dribble or an
- 00:16:59air dribble or a soft touch or a pass so
- 00:17:03when you learn to recognize this then we
- 00:17:06can move on to recognizing the Boost
- 00:17:08levels of your opponent if you see
- 00:17:10players struggling to reach the ball or
- 00:17:12they're moving more slowly nine times
- 00:17:15out of 10 they're low on Boost and this
- 00:17:17is a great time to apply pressure and
- 00:17:20force them into a mistake reading the
- 00:17:22play isn't just about what the opponent
- 00:17:25is doing it's also about how the game is
- 00:17:28flowing and positioning yourself
- 00:17:30accordingly rocket league is a
- 00:17:32fast-paced game and every second counts
- 00:17:35so your positioning needs to adapt based
- 00:17:38on what's happening on the field on
- 00:17:40offense stay one step ahead of the play
- 00:17:43if your teammate is going for a shot or
- 00:17:46a pass position yourself where the ball
- 00:17:49is likely to go next rather than chasing
- 00:17:51the ball after a tit this allows you to
- 00:17:54react quickly and keep the pressure on
- 00:17:56the opponent on defense position
- 00:17:59yourself to cut off passing lanes and
- 00:18:01force your opponents into less dangerous
- 00:18:04positions like your Corners if you can
- 00:18:07predict where your opponent is going to
- 00:18:09pass you can block it before they even
- 00:18:11make the play one of the best ways to
- 00:18:13improve your ability to read the play is
- 00:18:16by watching highle gameplay study how
- 00:18:19top players move around the field how
- 00:18:21they position themselves and how they
- 00:18:23anticipate their opponent's moves this
- 00:18:26will give you valuable insights into how
- 00:18:28you should be thinking during your own
- 00:18:30matches timing your challenges is
- 00:18:32crucial to winning 50/50s maintaining
- 00:18:35pressure and preventing goals poorly
- 00:18:38timed challenges often lead to
- 00:18:41overcommit or maybe getting caught out
- 00:18:43of position while smart well-time
- 00:18:46challenges can turn the tide of the game
- 00:18:48completely in your favor knowing when to
- 00:18:51challenge the ball is all about reading
- 00:18:53the situation and understanding when
- 00:18:56you're in a position to win the
- 00:18:57challenge versus when you probably are
- 00:19:00not going to win a challenge and you
- 00:19:01should hold back if you're the closest
- 00:19:03player to the ball it's usually your job
- 00:19:06to challenge but before you dive in
- 00:19:08consider your opponent's positioning are
- 00:19:10they likely to beat you to the ball if
- 00:19:13so it might be better to rotate back and
- 00:19:15let a teammate challenge instead
- 00:19:17overcommit when you're likely to lose a
- 00:19:18challenge can leave your team completely
- 00:19:21exposed a huge tip is learning how to
- 00:19:24Shad defend really well this is when you
- 00:19:26stay in front of the attacker without
- 00:19:29directly challenging the ball I went
- 00:19:31over this briefly in level one but at a
- 00:19:33deeper level Shadow defenses but at a
- 00:19:36deeper level Shadow Defense Forces your
- 00:19:38opponent to make the first move if
- 00:19:41you're doing this correctly and this
- 00:19:42will give you more time to react and
- 00:19:45either block their shot or force a bad
- 00:19:48play not all challenges are created
- 00:19:50equal sometimes challenging a 50/50 ball
- 00:19:53aggressively is the right move but nine
- 00:19:55times out of 10 positioning yourself to
- 00:19:58block the next play is more important
- 00:20:01prioritize high value challenges these
- 00:20:04are challenges that are likely to lead
- 00:20:06to possession for your team or even
- 00:20:08prevent a dangerous shot from the
- 00:20:10opponent if challenging the ball is
- 00:20:12going to put you out of position or give
- 00:20:14the ball right back to the opponent it
- 00:20:17might be better to rotate back if you're
- 00:20:19on defense and your team is scrambling
- 00:20:21to recover don't challenge unless you're
- 00:20:23certain you can win instead focus on
- 00:20:26covering the goal and blocking passing
- 00:20:29Lanes until your teammates can get back
- 00:20:31into position good challenge
- 00:20:33prioritization is often the difference
- 00:20:36between maintaining pressure and getting
- 00:20:38scored on the more you focus on making
- 00:20:40smart challenges and staying patient the
- 00:20:42more success you'll have in controlling
- 00:20:44the flow of the game finally let's talk
- 00:20:46about awareness and communication good
- 00:20:50game sense isn't just about what you're
- 00:20:52doing individually it's about how you
- 00:20:55interact with your teammates and how
- 00:20:56aware you are of everything happening on
- 00:20:58the field field awareness means being
- 00:21:01aware of more than just the ball you
- 00:21:04need to know where your teammates are
- 00:21:06where your opponents are and where the
- 00:21:09ball is likely to go next constantly
- 00:21:11check your surroundings don't just focus
- 00:21:14on the ball take quick looks around to
- 00:21:18see where your teammates and opponents
- 00:21:19are positioned this will help you make
- 00:21:22better decisions about whether to
- 00:21:24challenge pass or rotate and also use
- 00:21:27the camera swivel feature to check
- 00:21:29behind you while moving this allows you
- 00:21:31to keep track of your teammates and
- 00:21:34opponents without losing sight of the
- 00:21:36ball also developing good awareness
- 00:21:39takes time and practice it's not like
- 00:21:41you're going to finish this video and
- 00:21:43automatically have the best awareness in
- 00:21:45the world but the more you focus on
- 00:21:47checking your surroundings and thinking
- 00:21:49ahead the better your positioning and
- 00:21:51decision- making will become
- 00:21:53communication is key to good game sense
- 00:21:57especially in 3v3
- 00:21:59whether you're using quick chat commands
- 00:22:01or voice communication keeping your
- 00:22:03teammates informed about what's
- 00:22:05happening is crucial for coordinating
- 00:22:08rotations and challenges use Quick chats
- 00:22:11like I got it or defending and take the
- 00:22:14shot don't do this sarcastically though
- 00:22:16if your teammate whiffs don't say what a
- 00:22:19save or take the shot to give your
- 00:22:21teammates clear signals about your
- 00:22:22intentions only do this when you're
- 00:22:24actually being serious otherwise this
- 00:22:27could create confusion
- 00:22:29and it just helps everyone stay on the
- 00:22:30same page you don't really need this
- 00:22:32once you get to the higher ranks because
- 00:22:33everyone kind of knows when to rotate
- 00:22:35but in ranks bronze through I'd say
- 00:22:37champ you should probably be doing this
- 00:22:40in voice chat keep your communication
- 00:22:42short and focus you don't need to talk
- 00:22:44constantly but quick updates like I'm
- 00:22:46rotating back or I'm in position or I'm
- 00:22:50open for a pass can actually make a big
- 00:22:52difference in keeping your team
- 00:22:54organized a lot of the time people will
- 00:22:56overcrowd a Discord call or voice chat
- 00:22:59commands with every single thing you can
- 00:23:01be short and concise one of the best
- 00:23:03ways to improve your game sense is by
- 00:23:05learning from your mistakes after each
- 00:23:08game take a few minutes to analyze what
- 00:23:11went wrong and what you could have done
- 00:23:13better over time this reflection will
- 00:23:16help you make better decisions in future
- 00:23:18games use replay analysis to break down
- 00:23:21your games watch your matches and pay
- 00:23:23attention to moments where you made poor
- 00:23:26decisions or you got out of position
- 00:23:29ask yourself what you could have done
- 00:23:31differently and how that would have
- 00:23:33affected the outcome pay particular
- 00:23:36attention to times when you
- 00:23:38overcommitted or challenged the ball at
- 00:23:41the wrong time were you too aggressive
- 00:23:44did you misread your opponent's move
- 00:23:46these are the moments where you can make
- 00:23:48the biggest improvements in your game
- 00:23:50sense and learning from mistakes isn't
- 00:23:54just about pointing out what went wrong
- 00:23:56it's about actively changing your
- 00:23:58behavior in future games the more you
- 00:24:01analyze and adapt the faster you'll see
- 00:24:03Improvement in your game sense so that
- 00:24:06wraps up level two game sense we cover
- 00:24:08decision- making reading the Play Timing
- 00:24:11your challenges and the importance of
- 00:24:13awareness and
- 00:24:14communication okay we have covered the
- 00:24:17first two major levels now the last and
- 00:24:20final level level three this one is
- 00:24:22completely about mentality and mindset
- 00:24:26and there's a little bit of you know
- 00:24:27mindset in gamees s but this is
- 00:24:29completely mindset and mentality which
- 00:24:31is in my opinion more important than
- 00:24:34both of the other two levels so this
- 00:24:36level isn't just about how you play
- 00:24:38rocket League mechanically but it's
- 00:24:40about how you approach the game mentally
- 00:24:42reaching higher ranks specifically SSL
- 00:24:45requires way more than just mechanics
- 00:24:48you need a solid mentality to push
- 00:24:50through tough losses to maintain
- 00:24:52consistency and to handle pressure and
- 00:24:55to stay motivated through the grind so
- 00:24:58let's start with section one bringing a
- 00:25:01strong competitive mindset achieving
- 00:25:04long-term success in rocket league is
- 00:25:06similar to achieving this in anything
- 00:25:09but in rocket League this starts with a
- 00:25:12strong competitive mindset you're going
- 00:25:14to encounter setbacks you're going to
- 00:25:17have tough losses and as frustrating as
- 00:25:21it is when you lose understanding this
- 00:25:23frustration and improving on your
- 00:25:25mistakes is how you actually climb the
- 00:25:27ranks how you respond to these
- 00:25:29challenges is what separates average
- 00:25:31players from the great ones the first
- 00:25:34step in building a strong mindset is
- 00:25:36setting clear realistic goals it's easy
- 00:25:40to get caught up in the dream of
- 00:25:42reaching top 10 but if you don't break
- 00:25:44that goal into smaller manageable steps
- 00:25:47you can quickly become overwhelmed or
- 00:25:50discouraged instead of setting vague
- 00:25:52goals like I want to hit SSL focus on
- 00:25:57incremental objectives for example if
- 00:26:00you're currently Diamond 2 set a goal to
- 00:26:03hit Champion First Once you achieve that
- 00:26:07set the next Milestone as Champion 2 or
- 00:26:09Champion 3 these smaller goals help
- 00:26:12maintain motivation and they also give
- 00:26:14you a sense of accomplishment throughout
- 00:26:17the journey focus on performance-based
- 00:26:20goals rather than rank based ones
- 00:26:23instead of making your goal to win a
- 00:26:25certain number of games aim to improve
- 00:26:27specifically aspects of your game playay
- 00:26:30like making fewer defensive mistakes or
- 00:26:33hitting more accurate Aerials this keeps
- 00:26:35the pressure off and it allows you to
- 00:26:38focus on improving rather than just
- 00:26:40grinding for wins setting goals like
- 00:26:43this prevents you from getting
- 00:26:44discouraged when you hit a rough patch
- 00:26:46in your rank progression it also helps
- 00:26:48shift your mindset from I need to win to
- 00:26:51I need to improve which leads to
- 00:26:53long-term success another essential
- 00:26:56component of a strong competitive
- 00:26:58mindset is having a growth mindset this
- 00:27:01means believing that your skills and
- 00:27:03abilities can improve over time with
- 00:27:07practice and effort rather than thinking
- 00:27:10your talents are fixed Embrace failure
- 00:27:13as a learning opportunity every loss
- 00:27:16mistake or bad game is a chance to learn
- 00:27:19something new instead of getting
- 00:27:21frustrated when things don't go your way
- 00:27:23take a moment to analyze what went wrong
- 00:27:26and what you could have done differently
- 00:27:28challenge yourself regularly don't stick
- 00:27:31to the same comfortable play style or
- 00:27:33skill level push yourself to improve and
- 00:27:36take on harder tasks this could mean
- 00:27:39practicing difficult mechanics playing
- 00:27:41against better opponents or even
- 00:27:43entering tournaments where the pressure
- 00:27:45is higher a growth mindset is crucial
- 00:27:49because it helps you see challenges as
- 00:27:51opportunities for improvement rather
- 00:27:54than something to fear or avoid it keeps
- 00:27:57you moving forward
- 00:27:58even when you face setbacks as you start
- 00:28:01approaching higher ranks like Grand
- 00:28:03champ or even SSL the mental aspect of
- 00:28:06the game becomes even more important the
- 00:28:09players you face at these levels are not
- 00:28:11just mechanically skilled but they're
- 00:28:13also insanely mentally tough how strong
- 00:28:17do you think the mentality of someone is
- 00:28:19who plays an
- 00:28:21rlcs before jumping into ranked matches
- 00:28:24take a moment to mentally prepare
- 00:28:26yourself and this might sound pretty
- 00:28:28silly but remind yourself that the goal
- 00:28:31is to improve and not to win every
- 00:28:33single match this takes some of the
- 00:28:35pressure off and this allows you to play
- 00:28:38more freely and confidently visualize
- 00:28:41difficult in-game scenarios before
- 00:28:43playing imagine yourself facing a high
- 00:28:46pressure situation like a last second
- 00:28:49save or a crucial overtime goal and
- 00:28:52mentally walk through how you would
- 00:28:54handle it this mental rehearsal helps
- 00:28:57reduce anxiet
- 00:28:58and improves your ability to perform
- 00:29:00under pressure by taking the time to
- 00:29:03mentally prepare you set yourself up for
- 00:29:06Success before you even hit the field
- 00:29:08it's all about going into the game with
- 00:29:11the right mindset ready to handle
- 00:29:13whatever comes your way losses and
- 00:29:15setbacks are inevitable in rocket League
- 00:29:19even top level players go through losing
- 00:29:21streaks and slumps but the difference
- 00:29:23between those who keep progressing and
- 00:29:25those who are stagnant is how they
- 00:29:28handle those tough moments tilt happens
- 00:29:31when frustration or anger from a game
- 00:29:34starts to affect your performance it's
- 00:29:36one of the most common obstacles for
- 00:29:38players trying to rank up once you're
- 00:29:40tilted you make impulsive decisions you
- 00:29:43overcommit and you let your emotions
- 00:29:45control your game playay recognize when
- 00:29:48you're starting to tilt the first step
- 00:29:50to avoiding tilt is being aware of it if
- 00:29:53you notice yourself getting frustrated
- 00:29:55after a goal or making a few mistakes
- 00:29:57pause pause for a second and just
- 00:29:59breathe acknowledge that you're tilting
- 00:30:01and actively choose to stay calm
- 00:30:04Implement a reset routine between games
- 00:30:07after a tough loss take a moment to
- 00:30:10mentally reset before queuing for the
- 00:30:12next match this could be a quick walk it
- 00:30:15could be something as simple as just
- 00:30:17doing some breathing exercises or even a
- 00:30:20few minutes in free play the goal is
- 00:30:22just to clear your mind and just let go
- 00:30:24of any negative emotions from the
- 00:30:26previous game one bad game doesn't have
- 00:30:29to turn into a bad session recognizing
- 00:30:31when tilt is setting in and actively
- 00:30:34resetting your mentality helps prevent
- 00:30:36one loss from turning into a losing
- 00:30:38streak every loss has something to teach
- 00:30:41you even if it feels like a game was out
- 00:30:43of your control by analyzing your losses
- 00:30:46you can turn them into opportunities for
- 00:30:48growth after a loss review the key
- 00:30:51moments that led to goals against you
- 00:30:54did you overcommit did you miss a key
- 00:30:56rotation were you out of position for a
- 00:30:58save identifying patterns in your
- 00:31:01mistakes allows you to correct them in
- 00:31:03future games don't get too fixated on
- 00:31:07blaming teammates even when they make
- 00:31:09obvious mistakes blaming others it
- 00:31:12prevents you from focusing on your own
- 00:31:14performance instead just ask yourself
- 00:31:17what could I have done better to help my
- 00:31:18team often there are small things you
- 00:31:21can do to make a difference even when
- 00:31:23your teammates are struggling losses
- 00:31:26aren't just something to endure they're
- 00:31:28a critical part of your improvement
- 00:31:30process by learning from every loss you
- 00:31:33turn negative experiences into positive
- 00:31:35ones in terms of slumps everyone goes
- 00:31:39through slumps whether it's when you
- 00:31:41feel like you just can't win a game no
- 00:31:43matter what these streaks can be very
- 00:31:45demoralizing but it's important to
- 00:31:47approach them with the right mindset
- 00:31:49after a string of losses just take a
- 00:31:51break don't keep forcing yourself to
- 00:31:54play if you're feeling frustrated or
- 00:31:56burnt out a short break can give you the
- 00:31:58mental Clarity you need to come back
- 00:32:01refresh and ready to play smarter when
- 00:32:03coming out of a slump focus on small
- 00:32:06victories instead of focusing on winning
- 00:32:08shift your mindset to improving one
- 00:32:10aspect of your game at a time whether
- 00:32:12it's making better challenges improving
- 00:32:14rotations or hitting more accurate shots
- 00:32:18these small victories build momentum and
- 00:32:20help you regain confidence slumps are
- 00:32:23temporary but they feel longer when you
- 00:32:26get stuck in a negative mindset set by
- 00:32:28focusing on learning and incremental
- 00:32:31improvements you can push through sumps
- 00:32:33way faster inconsistent performance is a
- 00:32:36common challenge for Rocket league
- 00:32:38players at every level some days you're
- 00:32:41hitting every shot rotating perfectly
- 00:32:44whereas other days nothing seems to go
- 00:32:46right the key to climbing the ranks is
- 00:32:48developing consistent performance so
- 00:32:51your good games outweigh your bad ones a
- 00:32:54big part of developing consistency is
- 00:32:57establishing a pregame routine that gets
- 00:32:59you into the right mindset and warms up
- 00:33:02your mechanics I do have a complete
- 00:33:05warm-up routine I'll have in the
- 00:33:06description of this video if you guys
- 00:33:07want to check that out but you need to
- 00:33:09be spending at least 10 to 15 minutes in
- 00:33:11free play before jumping into rank games
- 00:33:14work on basic mechanics like dribbling
- 00:33:16flicks shooting to ensure that your
- 00:33:19muscle memory is sharp this helps
- 00:33:21prevent those off games where your
- 00:33:23mechanics feel really sloppy right from
- 00:33:25the start try using custom training
- 00:33:28packs to warm up your shooting defense
- 00:33:31and positioning by practicing different
- 00:33:33scenarios before jumping into
- 00:33:35competitive games and when you do this
- 00:33:37you'll be way more prepared to handle
- 00:33:40pretty much whatever comes your way
- 00:33:42establishing a routine not only warms up
- 00:33:44your mechanics but it also helps you get
- 00:33:47into the right mental state to play at
- 00:33:49your best one of the biggest causes of
- 00:33:51inconsistency is losing focus whether
- 00:33:54you're thinking about the score a
- 00:33:56previous mistake the outcome of this
- 00:33:58match distractions take you out of the
- 00:34:01moment and lead to poor decision- making
- 00:34:04practice mindfulness by focusing on one
- 00:34:06play at a time don't get caught up in
- 00:34:08thinking about a mistake you made
- 00:34:10earlier or whether you're winning or
- 00:34:12losing say present in the moment and
- 00:34:15focus on making the best play you can
- 00:34:17right now when you find yourself losing
- 00:34:20focus ask yourselves questions like
- 00:34:23where should I be positioned or what's
- 00:34:25the smartest move in this situation this
- 00:34:28keeps your brain engaged and it helps
- 00:34:30prevent careless mistakes consistency
- 00:34:33isn't about playing perfectly every game
- 00:34:35it's about maintaining focus and staying
- 00:34:38mentally sharp even when the game isn't
- 00:34:40going your way as you climb the ranks
- 00:34:42especially when you're nearing
- 00:34:44promotions or playing in tournaments the
- 00:34:46pressure starts to mount being able to
- 00:34:49perform under pressure is what separates
- 00:34:51the top players from the rest promotion
- 00:34:54games and high-stake matches often come
- 00:34:57with added pressure leading to anxiety
- 00:35:00and nervousness learning to stay calm in
- 00:35:03these situations is critical for Success
- 00:35:06treat promotion games like any other
- 00:35:08game and I know that's way easier said
- 00:35:10than done but if you place too much
- 00:35:13importance on a single game of Rocket
- 00:35:15League you'll feel way more pressure and
- 00:35:17you're more likely to lose just because
- 00:35:19of that without even actually playing
- 00:35:21the game remind yourself that it's just
- 00:35:23one game in a long series of matches and
- 00:35:26even if you lose you'll have plenty of
- 00:35:28other chances to rank up take deep
- 00:35:31breaths before and during high pressure
- 00:35:33moments this simple technique helps calm
- 00:35:36your nerves reduces anxiety and allows
- 00:35:38you to focus on the task at hand don't
- 00:35:41let the pressure of ranking up get to
- 00:35:43you by staying calm and treating every
- 00:35:44game equally you'll perform more
- 00:35:47consistently in promotion matches in
- 00:35:49tournaments or highle ranked play the
- 00:35:52pressure is even higher and the ability
- 00:35:54to stay calm and composed is a huge
- 00:35:56asset practice playing in competitive
- 00:35:59environments like joining Community
- 00:36:01tournaments or scrimming against higher
- 00:36:04ranked teams the more you expose
- 00:36:06yourself to these high pressure
- 00:36:07situations the more comfortable you'll
- 00:36:10become at handling this stress in
- 00:36:13moments like these focus on your
- 00:36:15breathing and remind yourselves of your
- 00:36:17strengths and then play with those
- 00:36:19strengths positive selft talk can
- 00:36:22actually go a long way in helping you
- 00:36:23stay confident Under Pressure instead of
- 00:36:26thinking I can't mess this up say I've
- 00:36:28got this I've practiced for this moment
- 00:36:31the journey to SSL is long and demanding
- 00:36:34and it's easy to burn out or lose
- 00:36:36motivation along the way maintaining a
- 00:36:38positive mindset and finding ways to
- 00:36:40stay motivated are key to reaching your
- 00:36:43goals it's important to strike a balance
- 00:36:46between practicing to improve and simply
- 00:36:49enjoying the game too too much focus on
- 00:36:51Improvement can lead to burnout while
- 00:36:54playing without a purpose can slow your
- 00:36:56progress so you need to find kind of a
- 00:36:58middle ground incorporate both serious
- 00:37:01practice sessions and fun casual games
- 00:37:04into your routine play custom Training
- 00:37:06packs or 1V one matches to work on
- 00:37:09specific skills but also give yourself
- 00:37:11time to play casual games where you can
- 00:37:13relax and actually enjoy the game
- 00:37:15without any pressure take breaks when
- 00:37:17you feel mentally fatigued rocket league
- 00:37:20is a very demanding game and pushing
- 00:37:22yourself too hard will lead to a burnout
- 00:37:24a short break can help you recharge and
- 00:37:27come back With A New freshh Perspective
- 00:37:30so the climb to SSL is a marathon not a
- 00:37:32Sprint you're not going to get there
- 00:37:34tomorrow it's really easy to get
- 00:37:35discouraged when progress feels slow but
- 00:37:38staying positive and enjoying the
- 00:37:39process is key to long-term success
- 00:37:43surround yourself with a supportive
- 00:37:44Community my Discord server of players
- 00:37:47who encourage you to keep improving

- 00:37:59reflect on how far you've come progress
- 00:38:01in rocket League can feel really slow
- 00:38:03but when you take a moment to look back
- 00:38:05at where you started and compare it to
- 00:38:07where you are now you'll realize how
- 00:38:09much you've improved and this helps keep
- 00:38:11your motivation high and your
- 00:38:12perspective positive that's it for all
