00:00:02
good morning everybody I'm Don Stewart
00:00:03
and welcome to another edition of
00:00:05
Breaking News Today is Saturday the 26th
00:00:07
day of April 2025 And as we look at this
00:00:11
morning's headlines the word that keeps
00:00:13
coming up is
00:00:15
anticipation So many questions that the
00:00:17
world will eventually get answers to but
00:00:19
the answers aren't there yet Of course
00:00:21
the problem is that none of us know
00:00:23
exactly when these answers will come and
00:00:24
what they will be For example we have
00:00:27
Pope Francis's funeral Who's going to
00:00:29
succeed the pope will the Roman Catholic
00:00:31
Church go back to its roots or will it
00:00:33
continue to be woke or will the new pope
00:00:36
be somewhere in the middle only time
00:00:37
will tell At the Pope's funeral we find
00:00:40
that Donald Trump had a productive talk
00:00:42
with Zalinski As we mentioned late
00:00:44
yesterday the there are stories about a
00:00:47
possible ceasefire in the works between
00:00:49
Russia and Ukraine Now we'll keep an eye
00:00:51
on this because we know in the future
00:00:53
according to scripture Russia has to be
00:00:55
free from fighting with Ukraine because
00:00:58
their army will again invade Israel in
00:01:00
the last days according to Ezekiel 38:39
00:01:03
which is impossible for them to do it
00:01:05
right now So again the ceasefire has to
00:01:07
happen eventually and it may happen very
00:01:09
very soon We will wait and see Now
00:01:12
there's another ceasefire proposal by
00:01:14
Egypt that seemingly has been accepted
00:01:16
by Hamas which would call for the
00:01:18
release of all the hostages While there
00:01:20
is anticipation that this might happen
00:01:21
and the pressure will again come to
00:01:23
Netanyahu about caving in this type of
00:01:26
agreement as we will see cannot and
00:01:28
should not happen And also our fourth
00:01:30
story there's been a huge explosion in
00:01:32
Iran's main shipping container port A
00:01:35
number of people have died and many are
00:01:37
injured Very likely it was not an
00:01:39
accident and anticipates more such acts
00:01:42
to Iran's infrastructure So to sum up
00:01:45
our top four stories each one
00:01:46
anticipates the coming events predicted
00:01:48
by scripture And as always we'll have to
00:01:50
wait and see what happens Now later
00:01:52
today we have the second part uh of the
00:01:55
question we're looking at Do we need an
00:01:57
infallible interpreter to correctly
00:01:59
understand the Bible like the Roman
00:02:00
Catholic Church says they have the
00:02:02
infallible interpreter and the pope Uh
00:02:04
the Mormon church same thing Jehovah's
00:02:06
Witnesses same thing Their organization
00:02:08
so many groups have an infallible
00:02:10
interpreter We talked about yesterday
00:02:12
one of the problems is how do you if
00:02:14
there if you need one how do you know
00:02:15
which one to choose with so many
00:02:16
supposed infallible interpreters out
00:02:19
there Well today what we're going to
00:02:20
look at is what the Bible has to say
00:02:22
about uh the an infallible interpreter
00:02:25
and the need for it We're going to see
00:02:26
there's no such need whatsoever That'll
00:02:29
be later today on your Bible questions
00:02:31
answered All right and now to the
00:02:34
headlines
00:02:36
More than
00:02:37
250,000 people were at Pope Francis's
00:02:40
funeral at the Vatican This is from the
00:02:41
Times of Israel They assembled at St
00:02:43
Peter's Square for the funeral of the
00:02:45
Pope The competent authority informs us
00:02:48
that while the funeral of Pope Francis
00:02:49
has ended more than 250,000 people are
00:02:52
present says the Vatican in a brief
00:02:54
statement at the end of the ceremonies
00:02:57
All right While world leaders have
00:02:58
gathered to say farewell to the Pope the
00:03:00
anticip anticipation mounts with respect
00:03:03
to which direction the Roman Catholic
00:03:04
Church will choose We talked about this
00:03:06
yesterday Will they choose another
00:03:08
Francislike pope or will they go back to
00:03:11
their roots now if they do go back to
00:03:13
their roots what does this say about the
00:03:14
previous choice of God's supposed
00:03:16
infallible interpreter of scripture who
00:03:19
rejected so many of the previous
00:03:20
doctrines and practices the Roman church
00:03:23
one cannot be forgiven for asking the
00:03:25
question did God change his mind because
00:03:27
in the last 12 years in the rule of
00:03:29
Francis so many things have changed in
00:03:31
the Roman Catholic Church And we have
00:03:33
now candidates for the papacy that are
00:03:36
there that have been put forward who
00:03:37
would bring everything back to what it
00:03:39
was before uh Pope Francis and before
00:03:42
actually Vatican 2 What will happen we
00:03:44
will have to wait and see And so that's
00:03:46
our anticipation Speaking of
00:03:48
anticipation headline number two
00:03:51
according to the virtual Jerusalem Trump
00:03:54
had very productive discussion with
00:03:55
Zalinsky before Pope Francis's funeral
00:03:58
According to the White House US
00:04:00
President Donald Trump had a very
00:04:02
productive discussion with Ukrainian
00:04:03
President Vladmar Zalinski ahead of the
00:04:06
funeral of Pope Francis in Vatican City
00:04:08
on Saturday A White House official said
00:04:11
Steven Chung White House communication
00:04:12
director said Trump and Zalinsky met
00:04:14
privately today and had a very
00:04:16
productive discussion Now yesterday we
00:04:19
passed on the media story that we
00:04:20
weren't sure of Trump and Zilinsky were
00:04:22
even going to meet and talk at the
00:04:24
funeral Well they did and they had a
00:04:26
productive talk and there of course is
00:04:28
the anticipation that maybe this
00:04:30
devastating war between Russia and
00:04:31
Ukraine may soon come to an end There
00:04:34
are a number of stories out there saying
00:04:35
that it seems a ceasefire deal is close
00:04:38
So again we will see We don't know We
00:04:41
know it eventually will happen Will it
00:04:43
happen soon again it's anybody's guess
00:04:45
but there are some encouraging signs out
00:04:48
there So we'll keep you posted on that
00:04:50
Now here's another anticipation coming
00:04:52
up Hamas agrees to 5-year ceasefire in
00:04:55
exchange for all the remaining hostages
00:04:58
This is from the Jerusalem Post The
00:05:00
source noted that Hamas is ready for a
00:05:02
one-time prisoner exchange in exchange
00:05:04
for a 5-year sessation of hostilities
00:05:07
This uh Hamas has expressed its
00:05:09
willingness to reach an agreement to end
00:05:10
the war in Gaza which includes its
00:05:12
one-time release of all the remaining
00:05:14
hostages in exchange for a 5-year
00:05:16
ceasefired official And the terrorist
00:05:18
organization told the AFP today on
00:05:20
Saturday The source noted that Hamas is
00:05:23
ready for a one-time prisoner exchange
00:05:25
and the delegation led by Khalil Alhalia
00:05:29
is expected to present the
00:05:30
organization's vision to ending the
00:05:32
fighting to Egypt on Saturday In other
00:05:34
words they're in Egypt now and they're
00:05:36
going to present their findings today
00:05:38
and it's seemingly their agreement Now
00:05:40
what's also they've said another senior
00:05:43
Hamas official made it clear that the
00:05:45
organization's weapons are not open to
00:05:48
negotiations in the talks In other words
00:05:50
they're not going to give up their
00:05:51
weapons in any final deal Three Hamas
00:05:54
officials according to N12 confirmed
00:05:57
that the group would be willing to hand
00:05:59
over its weapons to the next group
00:06:00
ruling the enclave While this stance is
00:06:02
not shared by the entirety of the terror
00:06:04
group it reportedly suggested some of
00:06:06
Hamas's senior leadership are open to
00:06:08
disarming We'll see about that Okay Uh
00:06:12
Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip are
00:06:14
feeling heavy pressure from the local
00:06:16
population to take such a step Amasu uh
00:06:19
sources told N12 "This is the knowledge
00:06:22
that no serious aid will be received for
00:06:24
the reconstruction of the region and
00:06:26
that Arab countries will not send
00:06:27
battalions for policing missions in the
00:06:29
Gaza Strip so long as Hamas remains an
00:06:32
an armed underground unit." And that
00:06:35
makes sense The three officials added
00:06:37
that the final deal could see Mohamad
00:06:39
Sidoir and Gaza brigade commander Isin
00:06:42
Hadad expelled from Gaza 59 hostages
00:06:45
just to remind everyone remain in
00:06:47
captivity And negotiations have worked
00:06:48
to reach an agreement which would see
00:06:50
them return in a ceasefire enacted in
00:06:52
Gaza where Hamas authorities have
00:06:54
claimed that the war has resulted in a
00:06:56
large civilian death toll But then we
00:06:58
had the story the other day if you
00:06:59
recall 72% they admitted Hamas 72% of
00:07:04
those who had died in Gaza were
00:07:08
terrorists were the terrorist Hamas
00:07:10
terrorists 72% And so that's kind of um
00:07:13
you know the total that we're looking at
00:07:15
not this um stories that have been going
00:07:18
on about how you know 20,000 children
00:07:20
have died the great number of the
00:07:22
civilian population No the great
00:07:24
majority of these kamas terrorists
00:07:26
Israel's gone out of way to do whatever
00:07:28
it can not to allow uh civilians to die
00:07:32
All right So here's what we can assume
00:07:35
tonight after the Sabbath is over It's
00:07:37
the Shabbat now in Israel There'll be
00:07:39
many in the streets of Tel Aviv shouting
00:07:41
and demanding that Israel accept this
00:07:43
proposal Now it's fascinating as always
00:07:46
to read the comments There are two of
00:07:47
them I want to read to you from this
00:07:48
Jerusalem Post article One named Richard
00:07:51
responded a way that sort of summed up
00:07:53
the consensus of the people in Israel
00:07:54
about this plan Egypt concocted this
00:07:57
plan for Hamas's benefit So of course
00:07:59
Hamas agrees Their proposed 5-year cease
00:08:02
fire if it lasts that long is a timeout
00:08:04
for Hamas to regain its footing There's
00:08:06
also no point for Arab benefactors to
00:08:08
spend billions rebelling Gaza knowing
00:08:11
Hamas will start another war with Israel
00:08:13
Who knows how many hashes Hamas would
00:08:15
release Israel has a good idea of what
00:08:18
to expect Presumably 24 alive in the
00:08:20
rest but Hamas could claim they can't
00:08:23
find some as they're dealing with Eden
00:08:25
Alexander That's the American uh Israeli
00:08:28
hostage that's there Then there's the
00:08:30
issue of releasing perhaps thousands of
00:08:32
Palestinian prisoners That's not to be
00:08:34
taken lightly Hostage need to be
00:08:37
unequivocally to be returned
00:08:39
unequivocally and not used as a
00:08:41
trade-off to reward Hamas and keep them
00:08:44
going And Richard's comment is a 100%
00:08:46
thumbs up from the audience there Now
00:08:49
another person wrote this Five years to
00:08:51
rebuild rearm and come back to kidnap
00:08:53
murder and rape Having declared a win
00:08:55
against Israel they will then bask in
00:08:58
the glory of having not been defeated by
00:08:59
the IDF and will be heroes to the Muslim
00:09:02
world and an example to follow for
00:09:03
future Muslim generations in killing and
00:09:05
kidnapping Jews That's absolutely right
00:09:08
You cannot do this You cannot allow them
00:09:10
to come away with any semblance of a win
00:09:13
But we'll see We'll see what happens But
00:09:14
this is the latest hostage ceasefire you
00:09:18
know agreement that's put out there And
00:09:20
Israel we believe was strongly strongly
00:09:23
rejected because accordingly they would
00:09:25
have to leave Gaza that is the IDF and
00:09:27
let the Palestinian Authority or Egypt
00:09:29
take over And interesting the
00:09:31
Palestinian Authority we had another
00:09:33
story didn't get to it Maybe we'll do it
00:09:34
later today Abbas the leader of that
00:09:36
said just you know quit and let us take
00:09:38
over We'll we'll we'll run Gaza now And
00:09:42
as one Israeli said there's not a dime's
00:09:43
worth the difference between the
00:09:44
Palestinian Authority and and Hamas
00:09:48
Makmoud Abbas Abu Mazin's real name Um
00:09:51
you know denied the Holocaust His map of
00:09:54
the Middle East has one country
00:09:56
Palestine There's no place for Israeli
00:09:59
or a Jew in the entire country You know
00:10:02
he was the bagman for a past terrorist
00:10:05
activity And so um it's just not good to
00:10:09
even think that would be a possibility
00:10:12
Anyway we'll find out We'll see what
00:10:13
happens But again anticipation And
00:10:15
speaking of anticipation this one is a
00:10:17
real interesting story Number four
00:10:19
explosion rocks Iran's Bandar Abbas port
00:10:23
the IRGC base 516 516 people are injured
00:10:27
This from the Jerusalem Post The
00:10:30
explosion reportedly occurred near
00:10:31
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps naval
00:10:34
base The army reported a large explosion
00:10:36
rocked Shahed Rajie port in southern
00:10:39
Iranian city of Bander Abbas Semi
00:10:41
official Taz Tasan news agency reported
00:10:44
today on Saturday At least 516 people
00:10:47
were injured rushed to a nearby hospital
00:10:49
for treatment It is unclear whether
00:10:51
there are fatalities This is Reuters
00:10:53
reported Other reports say there are
00:10:55
fatalities The explosion reportedly
00:10:57
occur occurred near an Islamic
00:10:59
revolutionary guard core naval base The
00:11:01
army reported Now wet adds a few things
00:11:04
to this and here's what they say Uh
00:11:07
images showed large flames at the
00:11:09
facility housing oil and prochemical
00:11:12
installations According to Iranian media
00:11:15
they report a fire spread to the
00:11:17
prochemical installations and caused the
00:11:19
explosions of the Shahed Rajie port one
00:11:22
more one of the thousand kilometers or
00:11:23
620 mi south of the capital Tehran It is
00:11:27
the most advanced Now here's the key It
00:11:29
is the most advanced container port in
00:11:31
Iran according to official IRNA news
00:11:34
agency located 23 kilometers west of
00:11:36
Bonder Abbas the provincial capital of
00:11:39
the area which is near the state of
00:11:41
Hormuz through which 1if of the world's
00:11:43
oil output passes The IDF has denied any
00:11:47
involvement in the explosion according
00:11:49
Ma Arie It's one of the Israeli
00:11:51
periodicals citing sources within the
00:11:53
military Now here's our conclusion It is
00:11:55
likely that the IDF did not have any
00:11:57
direct involvement But here comes the
00:11:59
however There are other groups including
00:12:02
those who are opposed to Iran's present
00:12:04
government who could have pulled this
00:12:05
off Look for more sabotage like this
00:12:08
taking place Now if you recall if you
00:12:10
were with us a few weeks ago when we
00:12:13
talked about um Iran and talked about uh
00:12:16
the problems going on there with the
00:12:18
shipping of the oil illegally and how it
00:12:20
was hurting the oil companies and how
00:12:22
that added with the Houthi shooting at
00:12:24
the um ships that went through the Red
00:12:27
Sea that area there uh we we made the
00:12:30
statement that there are other
00:12:32
possibilities of problems going on with
00:12:34
Iran that are not directly linked to the
00:12:37
US or Israel And uh this could be one of
00:12:40
them I kind of leave it at that because
00:12:42
I was had some things shared with me
00:12:43
about other possibilities what could be
00:12:46
going on in the country that uh probably
00:12:49
shouldn't be publicly shared But anyway
00:12:50
bottom line this this is what's
00:12:52
happening We're likely to see more of
00:12:54
this So other words there are groups who
00:12:57
do not want to see Iran ship this oil
00:13:01
illegally that's costing billions of
00:13:02
dollars to oil companies that's you know
00:13:05
um keeping Iran afloat And so um this is
00:13:09
very likely the work of somebody who is
00:13:12
um you know attempting to put Iran in
00:13:15
his place and so we'll expect sabotage
00:13:19
to continue to go on in the country of
00:13:21
Iran Look for more of it Now this
00:13:23
interesting too Now this is not a
00:13:25
coincidence either This takes place the
00:13:27
same day negotiations continue in Oman
00:13:29
between the US and Iran with respect to
00:13:31
coming up with a deal concerning their
00:13:33
nuclear program There are no
00:13:35
coincidences So this is really
00:13:37
interesting We see this large container
00:13:39
their largest container area uh in their
00:13:42
country being um you know sabotaged
00:13:44
there Huge explosion over 500 people
00:13:47
injured and huge fire there at his
00:13:49
prochemical plant So uh uh this is
00:13:52
fascinating So it's probably a harbinger
00:13:54
of things to come So anyway we'll keep
00:13:55
it keep an eye on that sort of thing All
00:13:57
right Later today of course we'll be
00:13:59
doing a your Bible questions answer Um
00:14:02
what does the Bible say about the need
00:14:03
for an infallible interpreter then as we
00:14:06
get to our second edition of breaking
00:14:07
news we'll see what has broken since we
00:14:09
do these morning stories because there's
00:14:10
always something And we'll give you the
00:14:12
latest because what we see here every
00:14:14
single day is events take place that are
00:14:17
setting the stage for precisely what the
00:14:19
Bible predicts will occur at the end of
00:14:21
the age before the second coming of
00:14:23
Christ and the many events that will
00:14:25
precede it And again for documentation
00:14:27
please see our website Educating Our
00:14:29
World where we have 12 books on Bible
00:14:32
prophecy including 25 signs we're near
00:14:34
the end and look up a timeline of 50
00:14:37
last days events for what we expect to
00:14:39
see Again they are free downloads from
00:14:42
our website educating our world under
00:14:44
the heading of Bible prophecy Our
