- 00:00:03channel called six stocks I'm buying now
- 00:00:04February 2025 Edition and in that video
- 00:00:07I mentioned a specific stock named wind
- 00:00:09Resorts right that was stock number six
- 00:00:11of those six stocks we talked about in
- 00:00:12that video and I you know spoke about
- 00:00:14why I think it's a great opportunity and
- 00:00:16whatnot well they reported earnings and
- 00:00:17the stock is definitely spiking on those
- 00:00:20earnings that they did end up reporting
- 00:00:22so you know what's interesting here with
- 00:00:24win you look at the win Palace this is
- 00:00:26their Premier Property this is their big
- 00:00:28daddy this is the granddaddy of the mall
- 00:00:30on the kai strip in maau they did $562
- 00:00:33million of Revenue in the fourth quarter
- 00:00:35there was an increase of almost $40
- 00:00:37million on a year-over-year basis so
- 00:00:39very strong number there when Macau the
- 00:00:42older properties that would be uh these
- 00:00:44guys right here those properties uh
- 00:00:47decreased about $22 million but the Las
- 00:00:50Vegas operations which is these
- 00:00:53properties this was shocking I'm I'm
- 00:00:55shocked somehow the company increased
- 00:00:57Revenue $2.7 million I don't know how
- 00:01:00the heck they pulled that rabbit out of
- 00:01:01the Hat
- 00:01:02because this was a year where they had a
- 00:01:04comp against the insane F1 comps now F1
- 00:01:07was in Vegas again this year but the
- 00:01:09previous year was the crazy year in
- 00:01:12regards to F1 where people were just
- 00:01:14paying like ridiculous room rates where
- 00:01:17everybody was everybody wanted to come
- 00:01:18for the F1 race first time in Vegas and
- 00:01:20so the fact that they somehow grew
- 00:01:22Revenue I was pretty shocked at that now
- 00:01:24Encore Boston Harbor a little bit
- 00:01:26tougher place they decreased Revenue
- 00:01:27$4.5 million in encore Boston Harbor and
- 00:01:31then as far as their property they're
- 00:01:32developing in the Middle East right now
- 00:01:34they're still talking about that
- 00:01:35supposed to open in 2027 with how fast
- 00:01:37it's going up I'm surprised they're not
- 00:01:38going to open in 2026 just to be quite
- 00:01:40Frank with you guys now as far as
- 00:01:41earnings per share non Gap EPS they did
- 00:01:43242 that beat by a115 Insane beat by win
- 00:01:49there they also beat on Revenue as well
- 00:01:51additionally they they announced they're
- 00:01:53going to pay a 25 dividend payable to
- 00:01:55shareholders on March 5th who are
- 00:01:57shareholders by uh February 4 so do keep
- 00:02:01that in mind which I'm looking forward
- 00:02:02to receiving dividend money there right
- 00:02:05now additionally they got asked on the
- 00:02:07conference call about what they're going
- 00:02:08to plan on doing with the land they own
- 00:02:10in Las Vegas and Craig billing CEO he
- 00:02:12said we obviously have a very
- 00:02:13substantial land bake here in Vegas we
- 00:02:16have years and years and years of growth
- 00:02:20ahead of us I often get asked why aren't
- 00:02:22we moving on the land in Las Vegas right
- 00:02:23now and the reality is from a capital
- 00:02:26perspective from a bandwidth perspective
- 00:02:28within our amazing design and
- 00:02:30development teams there's so many other
- 00:02:32things frankly there only so many things
- 00:02:34we can do at once essentially right
- 00:02:35which they got that property they're
- 00:02:37building in the Middle East right now
- 00:02:38additionally they're still trying to get
- 00:02:39that deal in New York City which you
- 00:02:41know I'm almost kind of hoping it
- 00:02:43doesn't work out in regards to that and
- 00:02:45then they're investigating if you know
- 00:02:47it makes sense to build potentially
- 00:02:49build a property in Thailand so do keep
- 00:02:51that in mind as well now in regards to
- 00:02:53the Las Vegas Strip land it's very
- 00:02:55important everybody understands this
- 00:02:56this is a Las Vegas strip here um the
- 00:02:59green there and center strip would kind
- 00:03:01of be around like Caesar's Palace in
- 00:03:03balagio area that's kind of always
- 00:03:05considered like center strip and then
- 00:03:07down here you kind of have the south end
- 00:03:08of the strip and this is a North End of
- 00:03:10the strip so the wind's more toward the
- 00:03:11north end but wind owns literally pretty
- 00:03:14much the only piece of dirt that's on
- 00:03:17the premier part of the strip you want
- 00:03:19to be they own though dirt that's right
- 00:03:21across from wi and Encore which
- 00:03:23everything else is already developed so
- 00:03:25that piece of land there is extremely
- 00:03:28valuable I mean extremely valuable
- 00:03:30because you don't have to worry about
- 00:03:31you know knocking a building down or
- 00:03:33anything like that it's just pure dirt
- 00:03:35it's ready to be built and and start to
- 00:03:37be developed right and so it's a very
- 00:03:39valuable piece of dirt I can tell you
- 00:03:41that much um and so the question is do
- 00:03:44they ever sell it do they develop it I
- 00:03:45don't know I wouldn't mind them selling
- 00:03:48it off cuz they could probably sell it
- 00:03:49for a big number I wouldn't be surprised
- 00:03:50if they could get one1 to2 billion
- 00:03:52dollar for that piece of dirt honestly
- 00:03:54like that wouldn't be shocking at all I
- 00:03:57I heard what they're trying to sell
- 00:03:58Circus Circus for so I'm like if they're
- 00:03:59s Circus Circus for that the dirt
- 00:04:01straight across from wind and Encore oh
- 00:04:03my gosh and so yeah but my thing is they
- 00:04:07probably want it to be a very specific
- 00:04:08project um so I don't know we'll see
- 00:04:11what they end up doing with that right
- 00:04:13now Additionally you got to keep this in
- 00:04:14mind in regards to when if they ever
- 00:04:15want to sell off their two properties
- 00:04:18and essentially do what a lot of other
- 00:04:19Resort properties have done on the Strip
- 00:04:21they could do that where essentially
- 00:04:22they could sell these properties
- 00:04:24probably fetch maybe 6 to 10 billion
- 00:04:26dollar for those properties and then
- 00:04:28they basically kind of like lease them
- 00:04:29back so they pay like rent to whoever
- 00:04:32actually will then own the buildings and
- 00:04:34so it still stays when an encore
- 00:04:36operated still still all their branding
- 00:04:38and things like that uh but essentially
- 00:04:40when would then get that massive cash
- 00:04:42pile which then if they want to pay off
- 00:04:44debt they could do with that if they
- 00:04:45want to use a money for other
- 00:04:46developments they could do that right
- 00:04:47and then when would essentially pay rent
- 00:04:49on a monthly basis or an every
- 00:04:51three-month basis to whoever actually
- 00:04:52owns a property my guess is they haven't
- 00:04:54done that yet because I think they're
- 00:04:57still using a lot of depreciation on the
- 00:04:59properties so I think that's one factor
- 00:05:01and then the other Factor I'm I'm
- 00:05:03thinking in regards this whole win
- 00:05:04Encore and why haven't they sold it and
- 00:05:06why they want to keep ownership maybe
- 00:05:08it's also has to do something with what
- 00:05:09if they want to do
- 00:05:10Renovations you know and how all that
- 00:05:13would work what if something goes wrong
- 00:05:14like I I think there's kind of some
- 00:05:17issues in regards to that but the moral
- 00:05:18of the story is if they ever want to do
- 00:05:20that $6 to1 billion is out there for
- 00:05:22them to generate just like that right
- 00:05:24and still be able to operate the the
- 00:05:26property in itself additionally they own
- 00:05:28this massive golf course right behind
- 00:05:30the property and that's a very valuable
- 00:05:32piece of real estate it's not as
- 00:05:34valuable because it's not technically on
- 00:05:35the Strip like the dirt is they have
- 00:05:37across but the golf course my guess is
- 00:05:39they could if they ever wanted to sell
- 00:05:41that off they could honestly probably
- 00:05:44sell it off for easily 300 to $700
- 00:05:46million and I might be conservative on
- 00:05:48that remember that piece of golf course
- 00:05:50is right by the sphere right there right
- 00:05:52obviously right behind win and Encore
- 00:05:53you got a Palazo Venetian right there
- 00:05:55you got the convention center right over
- 00:05:58here so so you know I'm just saying they
- 00:06:02got a lot of opportunities with this
- 00:06:04company to generate substantial amounts
- 00:06:05of cash if they want to keep developing
- 00:06:07or whatever they want to do here pay
- 00:06:08down debt stuff like that now looking at
- 00:06:10the income statement here I gave him a
- 00:06:12C+ grade operating revenues were around
- 00:06:15flattish roughly on a year-over-year
- 00:06:17basis right but operating income went to
- 00:06:19$366 million from $357 now last year
- 00:06:23they had this massive one-off benefit
- 00:06:24here this is uh you know benefit from
- 00:06:26income taxes that's $499 million oneoff
- 00:06:29so this year only $41 million so that
- 00:06:31kind of hurt their net income but it's
- 00:06:32not nearly as bad as it looks obviously
- 00:06:34cuz we're talking about that's what
- 00:06:36a458 uh million doll benefit there it's
- 00:06:39insane so moral the story is winds
- 00:06:41looking really darn good and always keep
- 00:06:43in mind wind's always a buy under
- 00:06:46$100 the further it goes under $100 the
- 00:06:49more it's like a strong buy so if you
- 00:06:50can get it under 80 now we're really
- 00:06:52really talking if you ever get under 60
- 00:06:55count your blessing that very rarely
- 00:06:56happens and so that's very very uh
- 00:06:58fortunate there okay so that's whenn
- 00:07:01looking real good for the long term

- 00:08:28months I'm not kidding like you will
- 00:08:30likely see me buy shares of AMD probably
- 00:08:33every single week for the next several
- 00:08:36months because here's the thing I'm down
- 00:08:38in the position right now 7% so I love
- 00:08:41to you know I already thought it was a
- 00:08:43great deal when it was 7% higher than it
- 00:08:44is now so now it's even a better deal
- 00:08:46right but here's the thing when AMD
- 00:08:48starts to go up and once I turn green in
- 00:08:50this position and then let's say I'm
- 00:08:51plus 7% you think I'm going to stop
- 00:08:53buying probably not because it's still
- 00:08:56going to be a great deal once I'm plus
- 00:08:577% right so a needs to appreciate AMD
- 00:09:01needs to appreciate probably 40 to 50%
- 00:09:05to make me to slow down my
- 00:09:07Buys so that means that AMD is I'm not
- 00:09:11done buying the stock anytime soon like
- 00:09:13this is still a steel deal buy for me in
- 00:09:16my my personal opinion right and when it
- 00:09:17comes to AMD the valuation is very very
- 00:09:20darn attractive Ford p in the 20s come
- 00:09:22on man like with how much growth AMD has
- 00:09:25over the next many years to be trading
- 00:09:28at Ford p in the 20s right now come on
- 00:09:31come on like people don't quite
- 00:09:34understand everything that's going on
- 00:09:35with AMD I I I'm thankful for that I am
- 00:09:38very thankful for that soofa in AMD is
- 00:09:41another one you know I speak about AMD a
- 00:09:42lot recently even on the reaction
- 00:09:44channel here but definitely on the main
- 00:09:45Channel as well Sofi Sofi is doing its
- 00:09:47thing now up 47% on the stock in the uh
- 00:09:51portfolio I would I wish I had more
- 00:09:53shares of
- 00:09:54Sofi that's the thing with Sofi I keep
- 00:09:57wishing I had more shares in the public
- 00:09:58count and wishing I had more shares uh
- 00:10:00in this portfolio as well Sofi is still
- 00:10:02a good deal like that's the thing like
- 00:10:04Sofi yes it's gone up I know a lot over
- 00:10:06the past 6
- 00:10:07months it's still a good deal I think
- 00:10:09for long-term investors because remember
- 00:10:11a bet on Sofi is a bet that Sofi is
- 00:10:14going to become a financial giant
- 00:10:16Financial Giants are hundred billion
- 00:10:18dollar Plus Market Caps or several
- 00:10:19hundred billion dollar market cap so if
- 00:10:20you believe Sofi is going to become a
- 00:10:22financial giant over the next decade
- 00:10:24right so let's say between 2025 and 2035
- 00:10:27you think over the next 10 years sofa is
- 00:10:29going to emerge as a financial giant
- 00:10:31then we're talking about100 billion plus
- 00:10:33market cap on this one so if they can
- 00:10:36execute on that they never go BK in the
- 00:10:37next big recession or anything like that
- 00:10:39and they're able to you know Anthony
- 00:10:40know is able to keep the company always
- 00:10:42in a good Capital position coming out of
- 00:10:43those recessions they're able to
- 00:10:45dominate like you'll see the stock
- 00:10:47become a financial Giant and you'll see
- 00:10:49them become a hundred billion do plus
- 00:10:50market cap and that's going to be a
- 00:10:51whole lot of fun in regards to that one
- 00:10:53because you'll have gotten to see a
- 00:10:54whole process of like SOI from like a
- 00:10:56baby financial institution into like
- 00:10:58becoming a
- 00:10:59Financial giant right and you look at
- 00:11:01the numbers you look at the members are
- 00:11:02attracting you look at the most recent
- 00:11:04quarterly numbers and you could put the
- 00:11:06pieces together and you're like dang man
- 00:11:07like they're on their way to becoming a
- 00:11:09financial giant like you know they still
- 00:11:11got a lot of work to do but the the
- 00:11:14groundwork is all late at this point in
- 00:11:15time right if we're building a house I
- 00:11:18would say sofi's already got the
- 00:11:19foundation of the house Dawn right and I
- 00:11:22would say they've even got the walls all
- 00:11:23up right they even got the roof on like
- 00:11:26now Sofi just needs to get the interior
- 00:11:28of the house finished and I mean I think
- 00:11:31we're I think we're looking really good
- 00:11:32in regards to Sofi amazing on this is a
- 00:11:35position we're up about 81% on there's
- 00:11:38another one I wish I built it out more
- 00:11:40aggressively back in 2023 I was a little
- 00:11:42too slow with my buys but the thing was
- 00:11:45when I started this portfolio man a lot
- 00:11:47of those big techs were still really
- 00:11:48really cheap and so I was like I was
- 00:11:50trying to buy meta I was trying to buy
- 00:11:51Amazon I was trying to buy Tesla it was
- 00:11:53just there was a lot of opportunities at
- 00:11:55that particular time revolve and by the
- 00:11:57way in regards to Amazon's value
- 00:11:59valuation on this baby we can go ahead
- 00:12:01and take a peek at that so Amazon
- 00:12:04trading around a 354 P very fair and
- 00:12:07remember Amazon comes in beats numbers
- 00:12:09quite often very fair valuation for
- 00:12:12Amazon you know this is a company that
- 00:12:14you can count just growing and growing
- 00:12:16and growing they put expectations very
- 00:12:18low going into this year too like if you
- 00:12:20look at their latest guidance they're
- 00:12:22talking about five to 9% Revenue growth
- 00:12:25I can't imagine Amazon growing less than
- 00:12:2710% I I can't imagine Amazon growing
- 00:12:29less than 10% a year any year in this
- 00:12:32entire decade all the way out to 2030
- 00:12:35maybe 2030 through 2040 maybe we start
- 00:12:38talking about growth rates a little
- 00:12:39slower maybe we talk about you know
- 00:12:42Revenue growth of you know 5 to 9% then
- 00:12:45but it's just really hard for me to wrap
- 00:12:46my head around anything less than 10%
- 00:12:48Revenue growth and because they have
- 00:12:50three main growth businesses
- 00:12:51e-commerce's growth Amazon web services
- 00:12:54growth and their advertising businesses
- 00:12:56growth so for me to imagine them not
- 00:12:58growing at least 10% % no no this
- 00:13:00company set expectations on the
- 00:13:02floor management set expectations so low
- 00:13:04that this stock is primed to hit 300
- 00:13:06plus this year like if Amazon if we're
- 00:13:09at this time next year and Amazon's you
- 00:13:11know $310 or $320 I wouldn't be
- 00:13:13surprised at all cuz how low management
- 00:13:16set expectations they know they should
- 00:13:18come in and beat numbers throughout the
- 00:13:20year and you know everybody's going to
- 00:13:21flip their Flapjacks over this one but
- 00:13:22just phenomenal growth obviously in
- 00:13:25regards to this company year after year
- 00:13:26after year and um you know obviously the
- 00:13:29margin story has gotten a lot better
- 00:13:31over the last couple years here from
- 00:13:33negative net margins to now we're
- 00:13:35talking about net margins of around you
- 00:13:37know getting close to 11% that's got a
- 00:13:39long way to play out net margins for
- 00:13:41this company Long
- 00:13:43Term I think they're probably more in
- 00:13:45the 15 to 20% range AWS great profitable
- 00:13:49business advertising we know that's
- 00:13:51straight profit that's you know Amazon's
- 00:13:53name of the game but the e-commerce side
- 00:13:55of the
- 00:13:56business I think that's going to they're
- 00:13:58going to be able to focus so much more
- 00:13:59on profitability in my opinion over this
- 00:14:00next decade in regards to Ecom e you
- 00:14:02know Bezos and the team really just
- 00:14:04wanted to focus on making sure they won
- 00:14:06the opportunity cuz that's a multi-
- 00:14:07trillion dollar opportunity
- 00:14:09itself like e-commerce alone we're not
- 00:14:12talking about AWS which is arguably just
- 00:14:13as big of an opportunity if not bigger
- 00:14:15for the company but e-commerce is a
- 00:14:17multi-trillion dollar opportunity right
- 00:14:21like that's so big and so I think Bezos
- 00:14:24and the team has always focused that
- 00:14:25business on let's just make sure we're
- 00:14:27number one by a mile and they have and
- 00:14:29they won they won the game's over now so
- 00:14:32Amazon won the next 10 to 20 years in
- 00:14:34regards to e-commerce so now the name of
- 00:14:35the game in my opinion is really
- 00:14:37focusing on profitability over this next
- 00:14:3910 to 20 years that's my opinion on that
- 00:14:41right so these net margins this is still
- 00:14:44very early days when you see Amazon at a
- 00:14:4610% net margin just understand we're
- 00:14:48likely going to 15 to 20% long term
- 00:14:52which you know we're talking about a
- 00:14:53company that is eventually going to be
- 00:14:56doing a trillion dollars of Revenue so
- 00:14:59when we're talking about a trillion
- 00:15:00dollars of Revenue and we're talking
- 00:15:01about a 20% net margin that they'll
- 00:15:03probably be at long term in my opinion
- 00:15:05we're talking about a company that is
- 00:15:07going to have net income of
- 00:15:10$200
- 00:15:11billion a
- 00:15:14year that's
- 00:15:17crazy and they'll still be growing
- 00:15:20likely so $200 billion a net income if
- 00:15:23you put a 30 you know p ratio on that
- 00:15:27right which if there's still strong
- 00:15:28growing company at that time like
- 00:15:30they're going to command a 30p no
- 00:15:32problem right plus they'll be seen as
- 00:15:34like just a you know kind of an apple

- 00:15:44cap now factor in the incredible amount
- 00:15:48of share BuyBacks they'll likely do over
- 00:15:51this next 10 15 years and what do you
- 00:15:54what do you think EPS is going to be
- 00:15:56like oh my gosh earnings per share is
- 00:15:58going to be ridiculous and so Amazon it
- 00:16:01continues to be a core holding in the
- 00:16:03public account uh I wish I held a lot
- 00:16:05more shares I wish I held so many more
- 00:16:07shares in the public account honestly
- 00:16:09but that one's just they they won they
- 00:16:11won the next 10 to 20 years between
- 00:16:14their advertising business between AWS
- 00:16:16and between their e-commerce side they
- 00:16:18won the next 10 to 20 years we have
- 00:16:21revolve is a decent sized position in
- 00:16:23the port portfolio $1,500 there with
- 00:16:25revolve revolve is kind of you know I
- 00:16:27don't talk about this one a l lot e
- 00:16:29e-commerce company really focused on
- 00:16:31clothing uh big with the females you
- 00:16:34know incredible co- CEOs this company
- 00:16:37they run they run the ship very good
- 00:16:39they get it they they just do a hell of
- 00:16:41a job man they just a really good
- 00:16:42management team at this company so I
- 00:16:44like to hold that one it's just a good
- 00:16:46company they usually surprise the upside
- 00:16:51meta there's a reason met is the biggest
- 00:16:54position in the in the public account
- 00:16:56right with that being said it's gone up
- 00:16:58so much I can't never afford to buy meta
- 00:16:59shares cuz here's the thing I only
- 00:17:01deposit $250 a week into the the
- 00:17:04portfolio right and meta Shares are like
- 00:17:06700 plus now CU it's gone up so much so
- 00:17:09unfortunately I can't even if I wanted
- 00:17:11to buy meta I can't buy meta I I could
- 00:17:13look into maybe doing fractional shares
- 00:17:15or something like that but a little
- 00:17:17frustrating in regards to that so and
- 00:17:19meta is still a buy like it's the
- 00:17:21craziest thing man met is still a buy
- 00:17:23like when you factor in the growth rates
- 00:17:25this company has and when you factor in
- 00:17:27I mean meta still company has going to
- 00:17:29be growing 15 20% for a long time to go
- 00:17:31in the future right and we're trading at
- 00:17:34a Ford p in the 20s so people make a big
- 00:17:37deal about oh meta's gone up like 20
- 00:17:39something days in a row it's like why
- 00:17:40shouldn't
- 00:17:42it why shouldn't people still be buying
- 00:17:44meta Give Me One Reason you don't have
- 00:17:47one a company grows Revenue 15 20% in
- 00:17:50future years it probably grow earnings
- 00:17:52per share I wouldn't be surprised even
- 00:17:53faster than that right and then they're
- 00:17:56investing all this into Ai and the
- 00:17:58metaverse all the these other great
- 00:17:59long-term growth opportunities like met
- 00:18:02as a double- digit grower for who knows
- 00:18:05maybe 10 20 years to go in the future
- 00:18:07and so you know at a for p at 28 you're
- 00:18:11still getting good pricing on the stock
- 00:18:13like is it what it was when it was $100
- 00:18:16no but even at
- 00:18:19700 you're still not getting bad pricing
- 00:18:21if meta was trading at14 P right now I'd
- 00:18:23say nah uh not that good of an
- 00:18:27opportunity it was trading at 54 P right
- 00:18:29now be like H you know not that good of
- 00:18:31an opportunity right now at a 20s
- 00:18:33something Ford P come on come on it's
- 00:18:35still a
- 00:18:36deal and so sometimes I'm tempted to
- 00:18:39sell those shares in this portfolio but
- 00:18:40then I look at the valuation I'm like
- 00:18:42still like it's so hard for me to sell
- 00:18:44meta it's so hard elf on a shelf uh next
- 00:18:47one this is a fairly new position
- 00:18:49already up almost 10% on it kind of
- 00:18:51upset about that um I'm hoping this one
- 00:18:54weakens but the problem is I think so
- 00:18:56many people see elf down and out the way
- 00:18:58the stock PR is right now and they
- 00:18:59understand the growth rates this company
- 00:19:01has it's been one of the most it's
- 00:19:03arguably the most well-run company of
- 00:19:05the past 5 years in the stock market the
- 00:19:08only one you could put in the the only
- 00:19:09company you put in the same sentence as
- 00:19:11Al is NVIDIA and that's it they're the
- 00:19:14most well-run company of the past 5
- 00:19:15years in the stock market other than
- 00:19:17maybe Nvidia right but this one I mean
- 00:19:20the valuation gotten so compelling on
- 00:19:22this company now and El's growth rates
- 00:19:24are just beautiful they just beautiful
- 00:19:27right now en has have this whole slowing
- 00:19:29of growth and then kind of a troughing
- 00:19:31and coming back up we'll see we'll see
- 00:19:35like El's got so much International
- 00:19:36opportunity over this next several years
- 00:19:38it's ridiculous right and they're still
- 00:19:40growing a lot in the United States and
- 00:19:42then when you're looking at operating
- 00:19:43income when you're looking at operating
- 00:19:45cash flow when you're looking at free
- 00:19:46cash flow I think you're going to see a
- 00:19:49massive bounce back in all those metrics
- 00:19:51over this next one to two years and as
- 00:19:53all those metrics bounce back strong
- 00:19:55over this next one to two years what do
- 00:19:56you think is going to happen in the
- 00:19:57stock price
- 00:19:59so the moral of story is I would love to
- 00:20:01buy some more elf all right so what do I
- 00:20:03think about this gentleman's top four
- 00:20:05Investments so first one is basically
- 00:20:07just kind of like an index fund on the
- 00:20:08S&P 500 he's talking about spy he's
- 00:20:10talking about Vu um you
- 00:20:14know I think those are fine
- 00:20:17right here's here's what here's my
- 00:20:19opinion on like the S&P 500 index funds
- 00:20:22it's bare minimum activity it's like if
- 00:20:26somebody said hey I want to go the G you
- 00:20:28know I want bare minimum of what I got
- 00:20:31to do each week you know somebody would
- 00:20:33probably tell them go walk on the
- 00:20:35treadmill for 30 30 minutes three times
- 00:20:37a week right bare minimum like at least
- 00:20:39do that that's kind of how I feel about
- 00:20:42S&P 500 index funds like bare minimum if
- 00:20:45somebody doesn't want to put in the work
- 00:20:47and they don't want to actually go run
- 00:20:48and they actually don't want to lift
- 00:20:49weights and you know do pilates class
- 00:20:52and do yoga class and all that stuff
- 00:20:53okay at least go walk on the treadmill a
- 00:20:56few times that's the same way I feel
- 00:20:57about index funds like if somebody
- 00:20:58doesn't want to individually stock pick
- 00:21:00and they don't want to you know actually
- 00:21:01do the research work on these companies
- 00:21:02they don't want to use St X they don't
- 00:21:04want to say you know what uh let me do
- 00:21:06some research on this company I heard
- 00:21:07this company uh this company NVIDIA I I
- 00:21:10looked into let me let me see what's
- 00:21:11going on with them right and they type
- 00:21:12in nvidia's ticker symbol and they see
- 00:21:14what's going on with the growth rates
- 00:21:15this company right and they see okay the
- 00:21:17gross margins are going here the net
- 00:21:18margins are going here okay here's where
- 00:21:20the EPS is going here's where it's
- 00:21:21projected to go right okay here's a free
- 00:21:24cash flow okay you know and they're
- 00:21:25doing all this research work then
- 00:21:27they're like oh let me listen to the
- 00:21:28latest conference call of Nvidia so they
- 00:21:30type in nvidia's ticker sybol not
- 00:21:31everybody wants to do this right and
- 00:21:33they're like okay boom let me hit the
- 00:21:34play button okay let me listen to what
- 00:21:35they got to say o I like this oh Jensen
- 00:21:37said just said this oh no no right okay
- 00:21:39some people don't want to do that it's
- 00:21:41fine like you don't want to do that you
- 00:21:42don't want to run your projections you
- 00:21:43don't want to say okay let me type in
- 00:21:45nid ticker symbol here now I've done my
- 00:21:47research on it let me you know I think
- 00:21:49they I think they could grow 30% blah
- 00:21:52blah blah and they put in all their
- 00:21:52valuations right and they say Okay a p
- 00:21:54ratio I think 25 to 35 is fair right and
- 00:21:57they run their base case and not
- 00:21:59everybody wants to do that and so for
- 00:22:00the people that don't want to do that
- 00:22:02right there's index funds for you so
- 00:22:05it's like not everybody wants to
- 00:22:06actually work hard at the gym right so
- 00:22:08this is not meant for everybody what I
- 00:22:10do is not meant for everybody right if
- 00:22:13it was meant for everybody everybody
- 00:22:14would have a big house wouldn't they
- 00:22:17everybody would have a Ferrari and a
- 00:22:18Lamborghini wouldn't they right right
- 00:22:20right right right right right like like
- 00:22:23just think about it like if this was for
- 00:22:25everybody everybody would have this
- 00:22:27stuff everybody would be going on baller
- 00:22:28vacations right like everybody would be
- 00:22:31traveling the world everybody would have
- 00:22:32the best healthare like but they don't
- 00:22:35and so if you're looking for bare
- 00:22:37minimum S&P 500 index funds always right
- 00:22:40there that's your walking on a treadmill
- 00:22:42for 30 minutes a week or whatever right
- 00:22:46next one up here investment number two
- 00:22:47he talks about uh many investors SCD
- 00:22:51kind of a dividend Equity ETF he's
- 00:22:54talking about here um he also talks
- 00:22:56about Brookfield Asset Management those
- 00:22:58are okay but I would just much rather
- 00:23:00pick like if I'm trying you guys know my
- 00:23:02strategy gvd growth value dividends if
- 00:23:05I'm trying to do
- 00:23:06like if I want to say like I need to buy
- 00:23:09five dividend stocks let's say I have a
- 00:23:10portfolio of 15 stocks right and I have
- 00:23:13five growth stocks and five more just
- 00:23:14values that aren't paying a dividend and
- 00:23:16I'm saying I need five dividend payers
- 00:23:17as well I'd rather just pick the top
- 00:23:20tier top tier best companies I can find
- 00:23:23that have great growth rates for the
- 00:23:24next several years likely expected pay
- 00:23:26great dividends have a lower out ratio
- 00:23:29that are going to have tons of room to
- 00:23:30expand that dividend over the next 5 10
- 00:23:31years I would much rather just invest in
- 00:23:34those top five companies than worry
- 00:23:36about trying to spread my money amongst
- 00:23:39because you got to understand there's so
- 00:23:41many bad dividend stocks out there so
- 00:23:44when you put just throw your money at
- 00:23:46like you know SD or any of these other
- 00:23:48ones that are just kind of like
- 00:23:49investing around just throwing money at
- 00:23:51dividend stock you're going to be in so
- 00:23:52many crap quality ones Why not pick five
- 00:23:55top tier ones or if you want to build a
- 00:23:57portfolio 10 dividend stock Why not pick
- 00:23:5910 great dividend companies that have
- 00:24:02immense room to up their dividends in
- 00:24:04future years right and are likely going
- 00:24:06to get you great capital appreciation
- 00:24:08along with dividends why not do that why
- 00:24:10do I need to hold a 100 different
- 00:24:11dividend stocks or 200 or 300 or 400 or
- 00:24:13500 I don't want to hold 500 dividend
- 00:24:15stocks I'm sorry like there's just going
- 00:24:17to be too many bad quality in there
- 00:24:19right much rather do my own research and
- 00:24:21find my top tier dividend stocks
- 00:24:23investment number three okay there are
- 00:24:26many options for this one one could be
- 00:24:27Diversified Bond like the Vanguard Total
- 00:24:29Bond Fund index but it's 3.67% yield is
- 00:24:32relatively low how yield bonds bonds are
- 00:24:35bonds are crap man bonds are so crap
- 00:24:39like look at this look at the bond you
- 00:24:43know index versus let's say the public
- 00:24:44count over the past year and then you
- 00:24:46pull up a lot of these Bond related
- 00:24:48indexes over the past five years oh my
- 00:24:51gosh like over the past five years some
- 00:24:54of these Bond indexes are negative folks
- 00:24:57negative so
- 00:24:59I nah nah M I'm good thank you very much
- 00:25:04no no no next one topic talking about
- 00:25:06gold basically gold is an investment GLD
- 00:25:09not bad uh you know Gold's something
- 00:25:12people could hold as a small portfolio
- 00:25:14allocation right uh also kind of some of
- 00:25:16the younger folks might just want to
- 00:25:18hold Bitcoin you could always do a
- 00:25:19strategy let's say you want to allocate
- 00:25:2110% to non stocks you could always do
- 00:25:23something like just put 5% of your money
- 00:25:25in Bitcoin put 5% in Gold something like
- 00:25:27that um I like silver more than gold but
- 00:25:30with that being said that one's okay
- 00:25:32it's not my favorite certainly but it's
- 00:25:34okay
