  • 00:04:17
person to get the inside scoop on
  • 00:04:19
everything going on the one and only net
  • 00:04:21
sweet EVP and founder Evan Goldberg Evan
  • 00:04:23
thank you for being on netet TV thanks
  • 00:04:25
for having me and congratulations on an
  • 00:04:27
amazing Kyo I think this might be my my
  • 00:04:30
favorite one yet it really took me back
  • 00:04:32
to seeing the Redwoods for the first
  • 00:04:34
time in Northern California which you
  • 00:04:35
can appreciate how magnificent they are
  • 00:04:38
so with that as we heard in your keynote
  • 00:04:41
and have seen all over the Expo our
  • 00:04:43
sweet World theme for this year is all
  • 00:04:45
systems grow can you tell us about what
  • 00:04:47
that means and why it's important yeah
  • 00:04:49
well we have a great set of customers
  • 00:04:52
here at sweet world and a great set of
  • 00:04:53
customers all around the world we
  • 00:04:55
announced um over 40,000 of them and
  • 00:04:58
    they're all seeking growth
  • 00:05:00
um they want but they want to grow
  • 00:05:01
efficiently and so that's what the
  • 00:05:03
conference is all about is showing how
  • 00:05:05
you can have this foundation for growth
  • 00:05:06
with netw Suite uh that can help you be
  • 00:05:09
successful in the most efficient way
  • 00:05:11
possible yeah and you did compare netw
  • 00:05:15
to a root system that is really laying
  • 00:05:17
that Foundation of growth for businesses
  • 00:05:19
to remain steady and strong in the face
  • 00:05:21
of change we've seen a lot of change
  • 00:05:23
    over the years economically obviously
  • 00:05:26
    and technologically with AI advancements
  • 00:05:29
why is having a foundation of growth
  • 00:05:30
more important and relevant now than
  • 00:05:32
ever before yeah well in the face of
  • 00:05:35
constant change there's really only one
  • 00:05:37
thing you control um which is how you
  • 00:05:39
run your organization and uh you want to
  • 00:05:42
run your organization like a redwood
  • 00:05:44
    forest where everything is
  • 00:05:46
    interconnected and um you're maximizing
  • 00:05:48
    your growth potential you're utilizing
  • 00:05:51
all of the uh nutrients and sunlight
  • 00:05:54
that are coming into the ecosystem
  • 00:05:56
effectively and it really ties back to
  • 00:05:58
why I started net Suite in the first
  • 00:05:59
    place
  • 00:06:00
and in my first company I didn't have
  • 00:06:01
anything like a technology Foundation I
  • 00:06:03
had a lot of disconnected applications
  • 00:06:05
that didn't talk to each other it was
  • 00:06:06
really hard to get not only to get sort
  • 00:06:09
of that bird's eye view that you want
  • 00:06:11
above the trees but also to figure out
  • 00:06:14
how to how to move forward and uh how to
  • 00:06:16
    execute effectively across the entire
  • 00:06:18
    organization with collaboration so
  • 00:06:20
really from the beginning netsuite has
  • 00:06:22
    been about building the strong
  • 00:06:24
    technology foundation and as we've
  • 00:06:26
improved it you know we're giving more
  • 00:06:27
and more elements that organizations can
  • 00:06:29
use to achieve that profitable growth
  • 00:06:32
yeah and I think a really neat part of
  • 00:06:35
this metaphor specifically is that when
  • 00:06:37
you have this Foundation of growth and
  • 00:06:38
this root system the ecosystem the
  • 00:06:40
nutrients the sunshine all of it it's
  • 00:06:42
    all happening simultaneously and you
  • 00:06:44
don't even know it it's happening which
  • 00:06:47
I think is very relevant to what we're
  • 00:06:48
what we're trying to do here so another
  • 00:06:51
really exciting announcement is our re
  • 00:06:53
is our new Redwood ux which from what I
  • 00:06:57
understand has been in the works for a
  • 00:06:58
few years so I'm sure it felt amazing to
  • 00:07:00
finally be able to talk about that on
  • 00:07:01
stage can you tell us what the
  • 00:07:03
inspiration was behind it and what
  • 00:07:05
impact customers can expect from yeah
  • 00:07:08
well Hillel talked a lot about it and he
  • 00:07:10
and his team have really been the
  • 00:07:11
Pioneers the Geniuses behind it but
  • 00:07:13
working really closely with the netsuite
  • 00:07:15
team and you know as as he pointed out
  • 00:07:18
it's really about uh making everything
  • 00:07:21
you do a natural extension of your work
  • 00:07:24
and uh obviously the best UI as we say
  • 00:07:27
is no UI where like you said things are
  • 00:07:29
happening behind the scenes and when you
  • 00:07:31
do need to interact with the system
  • 00:07:34
participate you want that interaction to
  • 00:07:36
be easy quick and natural and um so you
  • 00:07:40
know pioneering and working with the
  • 00:07:42
Redwood team we're now rolling out these
  • 00:07:44
Redwood features to all of our netw
  • 00:07:46
suite customers over the coming months
  • 00:07:48
and I'm so excited to see what they do
  • 00:07:49
with them it really is so exciting um
  • 00:07:52
just to hear everything that's happening
  • 00:07:54
and a big part of the Redwood ux is ai
  • 00:07:58
ai everywhere we're all about it and
  • 00:07:59
we've been embedding AI in the suite for
  • 00:08:01
years way before it was cool and you
  • 00:08:04
announced even more AI enhancements um
  • 00:08:07
can you talk about those yeah I you know
  • 00:08:10
we um have said all along that we expect
  • 00:08:13
AI to be everywhere to be an intrinsic
  • 00:08:15
part of the system not an add-on you
  • 00:08:17
know I've said many times that a
  • 00:08:18
business system without AI is like a car
  • 00:08:20
without wheels you you wouldn't buy that
  • 00:08:22
car on the lot um you want the one with
  • 00:08:25
wheels and so um you know we're
  • 00:08:28
    constantly adding Wheels
  • 00:08:30
and uh so some of the things yeah that
  • 00:08:32
we've done um you know we text inhance
  • 00:08:34
we announced last year which is a super
  • 00:08:35
cool use of large language models to
  • 00:08:38
provide contextual text in the different
  • 00:08:40
parts of the system um now there's kind
  • 00:08:43
of this you know control center called
  • 00:08:45
the netu prom Studio that lets you
  • 00:08:47
actually customize it for your business
  • 00:08:49
so how it works in you know in your
  • 00:08:51
    particular business for your particular
  • 00:08:53
fields that you find important that
  • 00:08:55
customers are that your users are
  • 00:08:56
entering data into you have this new
  • 00:08:58
control so that's super cool um we're
  • 00:09:00
seeing that we're going to be adding um
  • 00:09:02
ask Oracle uh which is really you know
  • 00:09:05
what do you do with Oracle you ask it a
  • 00:09:07
question and it gives you an answer and
  • 00:09:08
so that sort of AI intelligence within
  • 00:09:11
the global search box is something that
  • 00:09:13
every user is going to get take
  • 00:09:14
advantage of in addition to the power
  • 00:09:16
that that uh capability already has so
  • 00:09:19
you know you're going to see it coming
  • 00:09:20
in every single feature we think about
  • 00:09:22
how can we make this AI feature better
  • 00:09:24
and make it an intrinsic part of your
  • 00:09:26
experience yeah when I was first reading
  • 00:09:29
about all of the AI powered features in
  • 00:09:32
Redwood specifically and and all the
  • 00:09:34
updates that we have coming to the suite
  • 00:09:36
I really put myself in a business owner
  • 00:09:39
shoes not that I've have ever started a
  • 00:09:40
company but that sense of fear that you
  • 00:09:43
probably have and just nervousness of
  • 00:09:47
I'm putting all this on the line and to
  • 00:09:49
your point earlier you started a company
  • 00:09:51
really without any help you didn't have
  • 00:09:53
this Foundation of growth you didn't
  • 00:09:54
    have ai enhancements I'm sure I don't
  • 00:09:57
know maybe you did no not so no
  • 00:09:59
nutrients and no Foundation of growth
  • 00:10:02
and so to look at these Oracle
  • 00:10:04
    assistants specifically it's amazing to
  • 00:10:07
think that they can really be the
  • 00:10:08
partners for our customers in building
  • 00:10:10
their business and it's this trusty
  • 00:10:11
partner that is with you along the way
  • 00:10:14
and hopefully can alleviate some of that
  • 00:10:15
fear that you may be feeling when you're
  • 00:10:17
starting a business or trying to grow a
  • 00:10:19
business yeah and you know you say that
  • 00:10:20
you you haven't started a business but
  • 00:10:22
you are an entrepreneur in your role and
  • 00:10:24
most you know everybody here that's at
  • 00:10:26
net site I mean at sweet world some of
  • 00:10:28
them are Founders some of them are in
  • 00:10:31
finance some of them are in sales um
  • 00:10:34
everybody wants to be entrepreneurial in
  • 00:10:36
achieving their goals and so we designed
  • 00:10:39
Nets suite for everybody for everybody
  • 00:10:41
in the business it's one system
  • 00:10:43
everybody uses the same system um
  • 00:10:45
everything you need to grow all in one
  • 00:10:47
place we love to hear it so with redwood
  • 00:10:51
ux specifically you know nswe is a huge
  • 00:10:54
part of our customers lives I I always
  • 00:10:57
think that is such an honor when I think
  • 00:10:58
about that so wild I'm like these people
  • 00:11:01
TR are trusting us to run their business
  • 00:11:03
and they likely log into netsuite every
  • 00:11:04
single day it is a daily part of their
  • 00:11:07
lives and so we obviously want them to
  • 00:11:09
have a good experience with it how do
  • 00:11:11
you foresee this new experience changing
  • 00:11:14
the way they interact with it and how do
  • 00:11:16
you think that's part of a broader shift
  • 00:11:18
in the Way businesses are interacting
  • 00:11:20
with their users yeah well I mean the
  • 00:11:24
next generation of users are coming you
  • 00:11:26
    know obviously incredibly digitally
  • 00:11:27
    Savvy social media savvy
  • 00:11:29
mobile Savvy they come in with
  • 00:11:32
expectations that the tools that they
  • 00:11:33
use in their personal lives they're
  • 00:11:35
going to get the same kind of
  • 00:11:36
interactivity and power and the tools
  • 00:11:38
they use in their business which they're
  • 00:11:40
literally doing for like half of their
  • 00:11:42
waking hours and so our goal really is
  • 00:11:44
to make each user fall in love with
  • 00:11:46
netsuite one interaction at a time and
  • 00:11:49
um we have an amazing team an incredible
  • 00:11:51
collaboration with Oracle and I think
  • 00:11:54
we're really going to be leapfrogging
  • 00:11:55
    the typical business application that
  • 00:11:57
people have to sort of contend with
  • 00:11:59
as uh as Hill talked about those
  • 00:12:01
barriers that right now they they have
  • 00:12:04
to LEAP in order to get their job done
  • 00:12:07
and so that's you know to me that's
  • 00:12:09
that's what it's all about you know we
  • 00:12:12
    entrepreneurs and I'm talking about
  • 00:12:14
everybody in the company they want to be
  • 00:12:16
building the company they don't want to
  • 00:12:17
be wrestling with technology and so when
  • 00:12:19
it's a seamless extension of their work
  • 00:12:21
that's how they're going to be most
  • 00:12:23
productive absolutely and kind of going
  • 00:12:25
back to some of the exciting new
  • 00:12:27
    Solutions exciting updates that you
  • 00:12:29
mentioned earlier so again bringing back
  • 00:12:31
AI we can't get enough of AI we have two
  • 00:12:34
    solutions Enterprise Performance
  • 00:12:36
    Management and Nets analytics Warehouse
  • 00:12:38
which are really helping businesses go
  • 00:12:41
above the trees we're also sticking with
  • 00:12:42
our our forest theme here so those two
  • 00:12:46
solutions have also been infused with
  • 00:12:48
even more AI can you kind of give us a a
  • 00:12:50
brief overview of of what's coming for
  • 00:12:52
those Solutions well you know what's
  • 00:12:54
great about those Solutions is they've
  • 00:12:55
been designed you know by uh the or
  • 00:12:59
    Enterprise development teams that are
  • 00:13:01
building them for large companies we've
  • 00:13:02
been able to take those that power scale
  • 00:13:05
it down to make it appropriate for netw
  • 00:13:07
business so you're sort of getting all
  • 00:13:08
that power but with the ease of use
  • 00:13:10
that's appropriate for running it with
  • 00:13:12
    netsuite and they have enormous
  • 00:13:15
investment in AI um you know in planning
  • 00:13:18
you can obviously imagine that there's
  • 00:13:20
lots of ways that you can do Predictive
  • 00:13:22
Analytics to help foresee what might be
  • 00:13:24
happening to do sort of what if scenario
  • 00:13:26
planning and also to monitor um the
  • 00:13:29
plans and make sure that uh the actuals
  • 00:13:32
are sort of meeting them and when
  • 00:13:33
they're not give you sort of an early
  • 00:13:35
warning on the uh analytics warehouse
  • 00:13:37
front again there's so much possibility
  • 00:13:39
for deeply reaching into the data to get
  • 00:13:43
insights and we've shown demos of things
  • 00:13:45
like um you know predictive uh days to
  • 00:13:48
pay stuff like that where it's looking
  • 00:13:50
at overall patterns with that AI engine
  • 00:13:53
that can do much more than maybe the
  • 00:13:55
human eye can just by looking at charts
  • 00:13:57
so in both circumstances um we're going
  • 00:13:59
to continue to invest and Oracle is
  • 00:14:01
going to continue to invest in AI
  • 00:14:03
    capabilities Within These powerful
  • 00:14:05
Enterprise tools and then we're going to
  • 00:14:06
bring them to the netw suite Community
  • 00:14:09
more AI more AI everywhere so how do you
  • 00:14:11
think these two solutions are going to
  • 00:14:13
change the way our customers make their
  • 00:14:16
decisions well I mean I think that
  • 00:14:19
    companies have always struggled with
  • 00:14:20
planning and spreadsheets and sort of
  • 00:14:22
    these disconnected planning processes
  • 00:14:24
unifying the planning process and then
  • 00:14:26
have that AI behind it as your company
  • 00:14:29
grows is incredibly critical I mean
  • 00:14:31
companies get way more complex and you
  • 00:14:34
can't just kind of on the back of the
  • 00:14:35
napkin decide how you're going to invest
  • 00:14:37
over the next 12 24 months so that's
  • 00:14:39
where these powerful planning tools come
  • 00:14:41
in and similarly there's an explosion of
  • 00:14:43
data uh companies have data of their own
  • 00:14:46
they're using multiple systems you know
  • 00:14:48
netsuite allows you to sort of minimize
  • 00:14:49
the number of systems you use but every
  • 00:14:51
    company has multiple systems including
  • 00:14:53
internal systems and that's just leads
  • 00:14:55
to a pro proliferation of data and if
  • 00:14:57
the data is scattered all over the place
  • 00:14:59
place you can't make conclusions from
  • 00:15:01
    netsuite analytics Warehouse is the
  • 00:15:02
solution for that bringing the data all
  • 00:15:04
in one place tying it together so you
  • 00:15:06
can really see the big picture and um we
  • 00:15:08
are seeing incredible take up of netw
  • 00:15:10
analytics warehouse and the use cases
  • 00:15:12
that our customers are showing us are
  • 00:15:14
things that we didn't even think of when
  • 00:15:15
we came up with the product yeah I hear
  • 00:15:17
that's our or one of our most popular
  • 00:15:20
products which is which is really cool
  • 00:15:22
and it's getting even better making
  • 00:15:24
taking all that data and driving even
  • 00:15:26
    more insights for decision- making
  • 00:15:28
absolutely Ely so talking about netsuite
  • 00:15:31
text enhance you touched on that as well
  • 00:15:33
and you actually announced that at sweet
  • 00:15:35
world last year and for those who may
  • 00:15:37
not know it is our generative AI
  • 00:15:40
solution where you it essentially takes
  • 00:15:41
your netw data and it generates
  • 00:15:43
    contextual personalized content from it
  • 00:15:46
very cool it's getting even cooler I'm
  • 00:15:49
curious what was the process of
  • 00:15:52
conceptualizing how to take text enhance
  • 00:15:54
to the next level and how was prompt
  • 00:15:55
Studio ultimately designed yeah well you
  • 00:15:58
know at netsuite one of our philosophies
  • 00:16:00
is that every business is different
  • 00:16:02
there's a lot of commonality and we have
  • 00:16:04
things like Sweet Success that package
  • 00:16:06
up best practices from thousands of
  • 00:16:07
    companies similarly texting hands comes
  • 00:16:10
out of the box which with a lot of
  • 00:16:11
    intelligence about how businesses work
  • 00:16:14
so when you uh are entering using text
  • 00:16:17
enhance with a sales description it
  • 00:16:19
knows to bring in the price and to bring
  • 00:16:21
in other information we've kind of
  • 00:16:23
preconfigured it to do that but now
  • 00:16:25
because one of the things that we really
  • 00:16:27
believe in is that we want to make netw
  • 00:16:29
Suite tailored for your business and so
  • 00:16:31
that's where prom Studio comes in where
  • 00:16:33
you can take the power of text enhance
  • 00:16:34
    that's already been made appropriate
  • 00:16:36
sort of for all horizontal businesses
  • 00:16:39
and adapt it to your particular business
  • 00:16:41
get your style of writing in there pull
  • 00:16:43
in the custom fields that you think are
  • 00:16:45
important to include in the sales
  • 00:16:47
description for example and so that you
  • 00:16:49
know the combination of kind of a
  • 00:16:51
running start with the power of text
  • 00:16:53
enhance that we build in and then that
  • 00:16:56
flexibility to adapt it with prom studio
  • 00:16:58
is what makes it the killer uh feature
  • 00:17:01
killer feature for sure and I find it so
  • 00:17:05
    fascinating that netsuite is really
  • 00:17:07
    customizable already but now we're
  • 00:17:10
    taking these individual Solutions and
  • 00:17:12
really customizing each solution at a
  • 00:17:14
granular level for customers to to
  • 00:17:17
customize every aspect of how they run
  • 00:17:19
their business which is which is very
  • 00:17:21
deep yeah and you know the thing is is
  • 00:17:22
that you're not on your own I mean we
  • 00:17:24
have ACS Advanced customer support which
  • 00:17:28
what's so cool about ACS is they learn
  • 00:17:30
your business but they also know netw
  • 00:17:32
Suite deeply so they can help you
  • 00:17:33
configure these tools they can help you
  • 00:17:35
figure out how to use the latest AI
  • 00:17:37
features and in fact we have an AI
  • 00:17:39
Playbook that we announced for ACS to
  • 00:17:42
help you adapt your you know your
  • 00:17:44
business adapt netsuite to your business
  • 00:17:47
in the context of these AI features so
  • 00:17:49
you're not alone with all this power
  • 00:17:51
    between netsuite
  • 00:17:53
ACS the these Business Leaders are never
  • 00:17:56
alone right so speaking of collaboration
  • 00:18:00
um we we obviously want to collaborate
  • 00:18:03
but we want the right tools how does
  • 00:18:04
    netsuite facilitate collaboration and
  • 00:18:06
    connection for our
  • 00:18:08
customers well I mean there's so many
  • 00:18:11
    different elements of collaboration um
  • 00:18:14
of course this the suite itself is the
  • 00:18:16
    ultimate collaborative tool because
  • 00:18:17
    everybody's using the same system
  • 00:18:19
    everybody's playing from the same
  • 00:18:20
Playbook um including your customers in
  • 00:18:23
    that collaboration with sweet Commerce
  • 00:18:24
my account for example um so that you
  • 00:18:27
have a really uh you know electronic
  • 00:18:29
close relationship not on the back of a
  • 00:18:32
napkin with your customers our ecosystem
  • 00:18:35
all these great sdn partners that we
  • 00:18:38
have here at the show at the Expo
  • 00:18:40
they're part of that collaboration we
  • 00:18:41
collaborate deeply with them and um and
  • 00:18:44
then you know we uh offer connectors to
  • 00:18:47
lots of different tools that you might
  • 00:18:50
use Amazon point of Sal systems Shopify
  • 00:18:54
and we announced here um our first uh
  • 00:18:58
connector to Salesforce and I joked on
  • 00:19:00
stage that um Mark benof performed
  • 00:19:03
Cindy's and my wedding ceremony um 26
  • 00:19:07
years ago and now we're finally marrying
  • 00:19:09
net Sweden salesforce.com wow so it is
  • 00:19:12
it is a big Union here yeah that is
  • 00:19:14
beautiful we've come full circle you you
  • 00:19:16
and Cindy have come full circle and and
  • 00:19:18
mark So finally Evan this is our 13th
  • 00:19:22
sweet world which is pretty cool it is
  • 00:19:25
my fifth sweet world and I can say from
  • 00:19:28
personal experience it does get bigger
  • 00:19:30
and better every year it's always an
  • 00:19:32
honor to be here it it's it's an amazing
  • 00:19:35
experience but turning it back to our
  • 00:19:37
customers what do you hope they get out
  • 00:19:39
of sweet world this year well there's
  • 00:19:41
some things that you know are the same
  • 00:19:43
every year I mean that chance to network
  • 00:19:45
    between the communities of customers
  • 00:19:48
partners and netw Suite employees I mean
  • 00:19:50
that's where the magic happens and uh so
  • 00:19:53
you know since it's the biggest sweet
  • 00:19:54
world ever there's the most opportunity
  • 00:19:57
for that kind of networking in
  • 00:19:59
collaboration and um you know I
  • 00:20:02
obviously uh with our great breakout
  • 00:20:04
sessions there's so much to learn so I
  • 00:20:06
hope customers come back inspired to
  • 00:20:08
    really leverage that Foundation that
  • 00:20:10
they have uh to drive efficient growth
  • 00:20:13
of their business and to achieve their
  • 00:20:15
    Visions every business every
  • 00:20:16
Organization for profit not for profit
  • 00:20:19
they have a vision we're an enabler
  • 00:20:21
ultimately the entrepreneur they do the
  • 00:20:24
hard work of making it happen we don't
  • 00:20:25
want to be standing in their way we want
  • 00:20:27
to be giving them that advice and
  • 00:20:29
assistance to make them achieve their
  • 00:20:30
goals faster and easier right we're
  • 00:20:33
we're that Foundation of growth we
  • 00:20:34
provide the nutrients and the Sun but
  • 00:20:36
they have to plant the seeds is what it
  • 00:20:38
sounds like that's right awesome well
  • 00:20:39
thank you so much again Evan for being
  • 00:20:41
on netset TV it is such a pleasure and I
  • 00:20:44
hope you have an amazing rest of your
  • 00:20:45
sweet worlds thanks for having me and
  • 00:20:47
good luck with the rest of the shows and
  • 00:20:50
    it's it's a it's a it's a great thing
  • 00:20:51
that you guys do here bringing the news
  • 00:20:53

design firm booming online sales and a
  • 00:21:27
TV show it also led to chaos endless
  • 00:21:30
spreadsheets and no single source of
  • 00:21:32
Truth we couldn't scale so we chose Nets
  • 00:21:35
Suite by Oracle now I get immediate
  • 00:21:37
    visibility across the business from
  • 00:21:39
    revenue to customers and fulfillment
  • 00:21:42
clean simple beautiful netu is critical
  • 00:21:45
    to the success of my
  • 00:21:49
business as you've heard at netsuite
  • 00:21:52
we're all about AI everywhere and we
  • 00:21:54
continue to embed even more AI
  • 00:21:56
functionality into the suite to help
  • 00:21:58
    your business Drive productivity and
  • 00:22:01
efficiency and I'm actually on the AI
  • 00:22:03
Arena on the Expo floor where energy is
  • 00:22:07
buzzing there's a lot going on and here
  • 00:22:10
attendees can actually come and see live
  • 00:22:12
product demos of all the new AI features
  • 00:22:15
that Evan announced it's really exciting
  • 00:22:17
super cool and now Christina I hear
  • 00:22:20
we're going to dive even deeper into our
  • 00:22:23
AI strategy over to you thanks Tori and
  • 00:22:26
Brian welcome to Nets sweet TV are you
  • 00:22:29
enjoying your time here at Sweet World
  • 00:22:31
Christina thanks thanks for having me
  • 00:22:32
you know it's it's really things are
  • 00:22:35
going really well uh we're back in Las
  • 00:22:37
Vegas it's amazing what you remember and
  • 00:22:40
you don't remember from year to year uh
  • 00:22:42
like for example it's 102 outside I mean
  • 00:22:46
it's amazing it was hot last year too
  • 00:22:48
but somehow that just disappears from my
  • 00:22:50
memory and especially you coming from
  • 00:22:51
the Bay Area I you probably got off that
  • 00:22:53
    airplane
  • 00:22:54
like really hit I'll tell you the other
  • 00:22:56
thing that really stands out to me
  • 00:22:59
that maybe doesn't come through if if
  • 00:23:01
you're watching from from home um is
  • 00:23:04
just how giant that keynote tent is yes
  • 00:23:07
like wow that thing is Big that's the
  • 00:23:09
kind of thing Las Vegas knows how to do
  • 00:23:11
they Las Vegas knows how to go big
  • 00:23:12
that's it go big or go home right let's
  • 00:23:15
get down into it okay so we've been
  • 00:23:17
eding AI into the suite for years but
  • 00:23:19
right now we're talking about AI
  • 00:23:22
    everywhere what's our strategy behind
  • 00:23:24
that and what does it actually mean to
  • 00:23:26
put AI everywhere it means a couple of
  • 00:23:29
different things so AI everywhere means
  • 00:23:32
things like text enhance that appears in
  • 00:23:34
more than 200 places across the suite so
  • 00:23:37
it's the same feature but just about
  • 00:23:39
everywhere you can write text in net
  • 00:23:40
Suite you can enhance it with text
  • 00:23:42
enhance so AI everywhere means these
  • 00:23:45
horizontal features that kind of go
  • 00:23:47
everywhere but it means more than that
  • 00:23:49
so for example it's features that
  • 00:23:51
everybody uses so new this year sweet
  • 00:23:54
    analytics assistant so reporting is
  • 00:23:57
something just about everybody needs to
  • 00:23:58
do and now you can just ask for what you
  • 00:24:01
want in English language and get the
  • 00:24:03
report or the graph or the chart that
  • 00:24:05
    you're
  • 00:24:06
after but there's more there's more it
  • 00:24:10
also means every role in net Suite
  • 00:24:13
should get AI assistance so for example
  • 00:24:17
net site planning and budgeting has uh
  • 00:24:19
AI narrative reporting in it now uh or
  • 00:24:22
    financial exception management um
  • 00:24:24
applies to finan Prof professionals and
  • 00:24:27
you'll see us do more and more of that
  • 00:24:29
applying AI to make specific jobs in
  • 00:24:31
that Suite better so AI everywhere is a
  • 00:24:34
big thing absolutely so what are some of
  • 00:24:37
the biggest challenges we are trying to
  • 00:24:39
help our customers with with the use of
  • 00:24:42
AI so we we think about the benefits
  • 00:24:45
that AI brings in two ways we think
  • 00:24:48
about Insight where we want you to be
  • 00:24:50
able to see further into the data to
  • 00:24:53
find to make conclusions that maybe you
  • 00:24:55
wouldn't see superficially and then also
  • 00:24:57
    producct
  • 00:24:58
we want people to be able to accomplish
  • 00:25:00
their tasks faster so let's talk about a
  • 00:25:03
little bit more what we were saying
  • 00:25:04
before let's talk about the AI functions
  • 00:25:06
can you break down those functions AI
  • 00:25:08
servers and the suite M when we think
  • 00:25:11
about how users are going to perceive AI
  • 00:25:14
it really comes down to kind of two
  • 00:25:16
types of AI they're advisers they're
  • 00:25:19
going to provide advice yeah so tell you
  • 00:25:21
what's going on with the numbers so you
  • 00:25:23
see advisers and then you also see
  • 00:25:25
assistants where we are trying trying to
  • 00:25:28
make things go faster and sometimes it
  • 00:25:30
even pops up in the name sweet analytics
  • 00:25:33
assistant for for example so uh advice
  • 00:25:36
and assistance perfect um I think what's
  • 00:25:39
so interesting and unique about netu AI
  • 00:25:42
is because we are actually using this
  • 00:25:44
Oracle technology it gives a great
  • 00:25:46
Advantage for us to put it in our suite
  • 00:25:47
can you talk a little bit about that so
  • 00:25:49
Oracle technology is a re really really
  • 00:25:52
tremendous advantage to us it allows us
  • 00:25:54
to move faster so we're unveiling I
  • 00:25:57
don't even know how many AI features
  • 00:25:59
this year we can move quickly because
  • 00:26:02
    we've got that Oracle technology
  • 00:26:04
Foundation it does more for us than that
  • 00:26:06
actually one of the things that sets us
  • 00:26:08
apart is we're not charging more for AI
  • 00:26:11
functionality uh it's just built in not
  • 00:26:14
bolted on so there's no upcharge for it
  • 00:26:16
and that's also because of that Oracle
  • 00:26:19
    Foundation you know there's another
  • 00:26:21
really big advantage that we have though
  • 00:26:22
in addition to that Oracle technology
  • 00:26:24
foundation and that is right in our name
  • 00:26:27
net site yeah the fact that it's a suite
  • 00:26:30
means we get insight into lots of
  • 00:26:33
different parts of the business and we
  • 00:26:34
can have the AI bring all of that
  • 00:26:37
together I'd say those two things the
  • 00:26:39
Oracle technology and the fact that it's
  • 00:26:41
a suite is what gives us a leg up with
  • 00:26:43
AI it's such an advantage so interesting
  • 00:26:46
now you are going to be taking to the
  • 00:26:47
stage on Wednesday and talking going
  • 00:26:50
even deeper into all of this AI
  • 00:26:53
discussion can you give us a little bit
  • 00:26:55
of a sneak peek of what we can expect
  • 00:26:57
well I can tell you what I am most
  • 00:27:00
excited about so I started my career at
  • 00:27:02
netsuite as a software developer and so
  • 00:27:05
I love this idea that people can build
  • 00:27:08
their own Ai and that starts with prompt
  • 00:27:12
studio so instead of just clicking a
  • 00:27:14
button in text enhance and having it
  • 00:27:16
enhance the text you can write your own
  • 00:27:17
prompts and tell the AI what you want it
  • 00:27:19
to do and then install that anywhere in
  • 00:27:22
the suite you want it to show up
  • 00:27:23
including in things like custom Fields
  • 00:27:26
so really really powerful for for people
  • 00:27:28
who aren't software developers to begin
  • 00:27:31
to to get what they want out of the AI
  • 00:27:33
and customize it for their needs but if
  • 00:27:35
you are a software developer we're also
  • 00:27:38
building AI into sweet script in a way
  • 00:27:41
so that people who are building on the
  • 00:27:43
platform can create their own AI
  • 00:27:46
    functionality things that we haven't
  • 00:27:47
even thought up with with the nlm module
  • 00:27:51
you can embed an llm wherever you want
  • 00:27:53
it to be in the suite and tell it what
  • 00:27:54
you want it to do so I think that's
  • 00:27:56
tremendously powerful up there's more go
  • 00:28:00
I love your excitement behind this I'm
  • 00:28:02
excited too so Oracle code assist is is
  • 00:28:05
coming out this year that's an oracle
  • 00:28:07
product meant to help developers using
  • 00:28:09
AI Oracle code assist knows sweet script
  • 00:28:14
okay and that means if you are a
  • 00:28:16
developer and you are writing sweet
  • 00:28:17
script on the platform you can get help
  • 00:28:20
right in your IDE writing that code um
  • 00:28:23
it's really a fantastic time to be
  • 00:28:26
    developing on the platform it's
  • 00:28:27
remarkable truly um you're very excited
  • 00:28:30
about this I'm very excited about this
  • 00:28:31
but let's talk about maybe some Business
  • 00:28:34
Leaders that might be a little bit more
  • 00:28:36
hesitant about AI than way than we are
  • 00:28:39
right um so what what is your advice to
  • 00:28:41
those people who are hesitant where can
  • 00:28:43
they start well I look at what's
  • 00:28:45
happened in the in the last couple of
  • 00:28:47
years with AI we've seen this tremendous
  • 00:28:49
    acceleration so there's so much
  • 00:28:51
happening just every day uh that's new
  • 00:28:54
with AI but I'll tell you this I still
  • 00:28:56
think we are closer to the beginning of
  • 00:28:58
the road than we are to the end so
  • 00:29:00
there's a lot more yet to come now is
  • 00:29:03
the right time to jump in to get started
  • 00:29:06
uh uh so that you can start progressing
  • 00:29:08
up the curve and one of the great things
  • 00:29:10
about where AI is going is you don't
  • 00:29:12
need an expert to be an expert in order
  • 00:29:14
to do it so find something find
  • 00:29:17
    something that's delivering real
  • 00:29:19
    business value whether that's product
  • 00:29:21
    recommendations for salespeople or
  • 00:29:23
    financial exception management for the
  • 00:29:25
finance team find something and start to
  • 00:29:28
get value out of it you'll build from
  • 00:29:31
there I guarantee it that's such
  • 00:29:32
reassurance right to say that you have
  • 00:29:34
the control over this Right the II
  • 00:29:36
doesn't have the control over you so I'm
  • 00:29:37
sure a lot of our Business Leaders will
  • 00:29:38
be very reassured to hear you speak of
  • 00:29:40
it that way well you know that's a very
  • 00:29:43
important aspect of what we do with AI
  • 00:29:45
is we always maintain a human in the
  • 00:29:47
loop right so we we are uh want the AI
  • 00:29:51
to advise and to assist but we're not
  • 00:29:54
ready for the robots to take over so we
  • 00:29:56
keep a human in the loop
  • 00:29:58
this is all I need to do thank you I'm
  • 00:30:01
excited that there is a human in that
  • 00:30:02
Loop but lastly so kind of broadly where
  • 00:30:07
do you see AI going truly in the long
  • 00:30:09
term you've talked about what we can do
  • 00:30:10
and be reassured right now where do you
  • 00:30:12
see it in the future well I I think
  • 00:30:14
we're going to keep building on that
  • 00:30:16
theme of AI everywhere and you saw two
  • 00:30:19
things in evans's keynote that I that I
  • 00:30:21
think sort of point the way the Swede
  • 00:30:23
analytics assistant is one of them where
  • 00:30:25
you start to talk to the system and ask
  • 00:30:27
it for what you want and it just
  • 00:30:28
delivers that thing back but where
  • 00:30:30
that's going is ask Oracle where in any
  • 00:30:34
search box in in the product you just
  • 00:30:37
ask for what you want whether that's an
  • 00:30:39
Insight that that you want to give how
  • 00:30:41
much did we sell last month uh or
  • 00:30:43
whether it's something you want to know
  • 00:30:45
about how to use the suite or if it's
  • 00:30:47
something that you want your session to
  • 00:30:50
do right then and there uh um ask Oracle
  • 00:30:53
is going to be the One-Stop shop for
  • 00:30:55
talking to the suite so it's in answers
  • 00:30:58
basically for the information that you
  • 00:31:00
have the more information you have the
  • 00:31:02
more you can make quick business
  • 00:31:04
decisions that are going to keep your
  • 00:31:05
    business moving forward yes exactly
  • 00:31:08
right exciting times to come thank you
  • 00:31:11
Brian we just heard about some exciting
  • 00:31:14
AI features and now it's time to see
  • 00:31:16
them in action here's a look at netsuite
  • 00:31:18
    Financial exception management netsuite
  • 00:31:21
sweet analytics assistant and netw site
  • 00:31:24
    prompt
  • 00:31:26
    Studio Financial EX ception Management's
  • 00:31:29
    AI algorithm is continuously reviewing
  • 00:31:31
all of my new and updated transactions
  • 00:31:34
to detect any potential exception as a
  • 00:31:37
controller I can see all exceptions at a
  • 00:31:40
glance and for each one the system
  • 00:31:42
predicts the potential impact as the
  • 00:31:44
    difference between the expected amount
  • 00:31:46
    and the recorded
  • 00:31:49
amount I can search for exceptions or
  • 00:31:52
    filter them by accounting period
  • 00:31:53
subsidiary or status using the Redwood
  • 00:31:56
filtering system I can review details
  • 00:31:59
    for each exception including similar
  • 00:32:01
past transactions that can give me more
  • 00:32:04
context once I make the necessary
  • 00:32:06
changes I can come back and mark the
  • 00:32:08
    exception as resolved which
  • 00:32:09
    automatically removes it from the
  • 00:32:15
list Finley comes into work on Monday
  • 00:32:18
and logs into netsuite on her dashboard
  • 00:32:21
she sees a pleasant surprise there's
  • 00:32:23
been a spike in sales over the weekend
  • 00:32:26
she's curious what caused the spike so
  • 00:32:29
she asks Oracle which product sold the
  • 00:32:32
most over the weekend and gets back a
  • 00:32:34
list of the most recent top selling
  • 00:32:37
products she notices a larger than usual
  • 00:32:40
    contribution from batteries so she
  • 00:32:42
clicks on the product to see more detail
  • 00:32:45
right away she notices a discount
  • 00:32:47
attached to most of the most recent
  • 00:32:49
orders she wonders how this originated
  • 00:32:52
so she asks which campaign triggered
  • 00:32:55
Weekend sales net s detects her intent
  • 00:32:59
and shows Finley a campaign that was
  • 00:33:01
active over the weekend Finley sees this
  • 00:33:04
as a seasonal sales campaign that was
  • 00:33:06
    just relaunched with an incentive
  • 00:33:08
discount of 12% for buyers who purchased
  • 00:33:10
two or more items this seems to be the
  • 00:33:13
reason for the higher volume of sales
  • 00:33:15
she can see that the campaign will be
  • 00:33:17
open for the whole month of September
  • 00:33:19
and since Finley likes to run a tight
  • 00:33:21
inventory she now needs to make sure
  • 00:33:23
that she is covering the expected sales
  • 00:33:25
increase so now Finley asked the
  • 00:33:28
question on the top of her mind do we
  • 00:33:30
have enough inventory to cover the
  • 00:33:32
campaign netw week gives her an
  • 00:33:34
    inventory snapshot to help her
  • 00:33:36
    understand why's inventory position and
  • 00:33:38
she has an option to open the sweet
  • 00:33:40
    analytics workbook where this chart
  • 00:33:42
lives sweet analytics loads her forecast
  • 00:33:45
chart where Finley can see her original
  • 00:33:48
forecast numbers she asks what would
  • 00:33:51
happen if her demand goes up as expected
  • 00:33:54
netsuite can dial her forecast up and
  • 00:33:56
    down so she asks
  • 00:33:58
if my demand goes up 20% how many units
  • 00:34:01
do we need to order neted adjust the
  • 00:34:04
forecast values 20% and calculates that
  • 00:34:07
she will be 30 unit short all of this
  • 00:34:10
data is Right In the Sweet analytics
  • 00:34:12
chart next Finley asks when these extra
  • 00:34:15
units need to be ordered and netsuite
  • 00:34:18
tells her she needs to order by
  • 00:34:19
September 14th Finley needs to send this
  • 00:34:22
information to her team to get those
  • 00:34:24
units ordered so she asks the assistant
  • 00:34:27
to share the the workbook with Cameron
  • 00:34:29
her operations manager now her team is
  • 00:34:32
prepared to handle the increased sales
  • 00:34:34
volume and Finley can move on to our
  • 00:34:36
    next
  • 00:34:38
challenge here in the item record I can
  • 00:34:40
see that the sales description was
  • 00:34:42
generated using text enhance I can also
  • 00:34:45
see the format for the content the
  • 00:34:47
specific marketing tone and the item
  • 00:34:49
code and name that were used to generate
  • 00:34:51
the content now let's go to prompt
  • 00:34:54
Studio I have a list of prompts already
  • 00:34:57
created in the system including this one
  • 00:35:00
for the sales description in the
  • 00:35:01
inventory item when I open it I can see
  • 00:35:04
all the settings for the record and I
  • 00:35:06
can see which Fields this prompt is
  • 00:35:08
deployed to I can give this prompt a
  • 00:35:11
description and name and in the prompt
  • 00:35:13
template I can provide instructions in
  • 00:35:15
plain language to Define which variables
  • 00:35:18
I want to include to generate my sales
  • 00:35:21
description maybe I'll play around an
  • 00:35:23
addd include a recommendation of what to
  • 00:35:25
wear with this item including possible
  • 00:35:27
    colors
  • 00:35:29
I'll save this go back to the item
  • 00:35:31
    record and regenerate the
  • 00:35:33
content now I see a new description that
  • 00:35:36
    includes the
  • 00:35:43
recommendation we are going to take a
  • 00:35:45
short break and when we come back we'll
  • 00:35:47
hear all about what it takes to build
  • 00:35:49
one of the top selling Shark Tank brands
  • 00:35:51
of all time you don't want to miss it I
  • 00:35:54
started on Tucket to give people the
  • 00:35:56
perfect fit from head to toe customers
  • 00:35:59
loved us and early growth was incredible
  • 00:36:01
but problems came with that success
  • 00:36:03
inventory was a mess and we had no
  • 00:36:05
realtime visibility into the business we
  • 00:36:07
turned to net sweep by Oracle to get the
  • 00:36:09
full Financial picture one source of
  • 00:36:11
Truth at my fingertips since then we've
  • 00:36:14
opened 80 stores with another 20 on the
  • 00:36:16
way and we're expanding into wholesale
  • 00:36:18
we couldn't grow like this without net
  • 00:36:19
site for untuck it net site is the
  • 00:36:22
    perfect
  • 00:36:24
fit welcome back to netset TV I'm here
  • 00:36:27
with PRX performance CEO and co-founder
  • 00:36:30
Brian brush Brian thank you so much for
  • 00:36:32
being on netet TV Tor thanks for having
  • 00:36:34
me appreciate the opportunity how is
  • 00:36:36
your sweet world going so far sweet
  • 00:36:37
world is great I mean this is impressive
  • 00:36:39
what Oracle netw site puts together
  • 00:36:41
everything is first class and I'm really
  • 00:36:43
looking forward to the rest of the
  • 00:36:44
content over the next few days we love
  • 00:36:46
to hear that we we spend truly all year
  • 00:36:49
putting this event together so to hear
  • 00:36:50
from our customers that they're having a
  • 00:36:52
good time it really means the most to us
  • 00:36:54
so Brian you appeared on Shark Tank and
  • 00:36:57
2016 correct can you give us a little
  • 00:37:01
Shar tank 20 second elevator pitch you
  • 00:37:03
bet so PRX performance basically we took
  • 00:37:07
2,000-year old technology of Old School
  • 00:37:09
    weightlifting equipment we made it
  • 00:37:11
better we added shocks so if you want to
  • 00:37:13
do push-ups you want to do squats you
  • 00:37:15
want to do pull-ups um bench press you
  • 00:37:19
can do all that on our equipment but
  • 00:37:20
when you're not using it takes about a
  • 00:37:21
second to put it up against a wall and
  • 00:37:23
only takes up about 4 in of space so
  • 00:37:26
really any home any wall can you can
  • 00:37:28
turn it into a gym wow gym everywhere
  • 00:37:31
all the time absolutely absolutely how
  • 00:37:33
did you come up with this idea uh we had
  • 00:37:36
a competitor their slogan was we believe
  • 00:37:38
in street parking and we're from Fargo
  • 00:37:41
North Dakota we actually make all of our
  • 00:37:42
equipment in Fargo and one thing we
  • 00:37:45
can't do is park in the street during
  • 00:37:46
the winter with the snow plows so we're
  • 00:37:48
like how do we create the same gym
  • 00:37:50
experience but make it take up no space
  • 00:37:53
you can still put your cars in the
  • 00:37:54
garage or still have a room downstairs
  • 00:37:57
you can use for the kids to plan in when
  • 00:37:59
you're not lifting and the idea was born
  • 00:38:01
this is really no excuses embodied
  • 00:38:04
exactly you can put this equipment
  • 00:38:06
anywhere you do not have an excuse not
  • 00:38:08
to use it anywhere I think I could get
  • 00:38:10
on board with this so again you appeared
  • 00:38:13
on Shark Tank in 2016 and you have grown
  • 00:38:16
PRX performance to one of the top
  • 00:38:18
selling Shark Tank brands of all time
  • 00:38:20
    number
  • 00:38:21
11 all time of all time proud of that
  • 00:38:24
you know how many episodes that show has
  • 00:38:26
a lot so many so very very impressive
  • 00:38:30
what was the secret to growing your
  • 00:38:31
business and how did you impress Mr
  • 00:38:34
Wonderful I mean the secret to growing
  • 00:38:37
the business it's one we hired an
  • 00:38:40
amazing team uh Shark Tank really
  • 00:38:42
validated the product but I think a key
  • 00:38:45
attribute was digital marketing uh this
  • 00:38:48
was in 2016 when you spent you know $100
  • 00:38:52
and they call it Raz return on ad spend
  • 00:38:54
we'd bring $700 back in we averaged
  • 00:38:56
seven row has so the more money we made
  • 00:38:59
the more we plugged into it and just
  • 00:39:01
created a huge awareness and having the
  • 00:39:03
Shark Tank kind of stamp of approval on
  • 00:39:05
there and the Kevin o stamp of approval
  • 00:39:07
was big and you know you mentioned like
  • 00:39:09
how do you make Kevin happy just give
  • 00:39:12
him money give him dividends you know
  • 00:39:14
whenever he's not looking yeah he
  • 00:39:15
appreciates it yeah he's like that
  • 00:39:17
    that's what we're here for that's what
  • 00:39:18
we're here doing it I always think what
  • 00:39:21
is going through their minds what are
  • 00:39:23
they thinking are they praying are they
  • 00:39:25
meditating are they are they like giving
  • 00:39:27
each other pep talks like what is
  • 00:39:29
happening in that hallway I'm glad you
  • 00:39:31
asked because we had a funny story there
  • 00:39:33
too we got led to the hallway and
  • 00:39:35
    they're like here's what's going to
  • 00:39:36
happen we're going to pull on the string
  • 00:39:38
and the doors are going to open like
  • 00:39:39
literally two guys are pulling swings on
  • 00:39:41
the side of the door that's how those
  • 00:39:42
doors open automatically and they said
  • 00:39:44
for some reason the string breaks a lot
  • 00:39:46
so we're probably going to have to do it
  • 00:39:47
a few times so we're like okay so we
  • 00:39:49
kind of didn't really expect and they're
  • 00:39:51
like all right one two three and both
  • 00:39:53
doors went open Perfectly we're like oh
  • 00:39:55
no we were like kind of a shock wow and
  • 00:39:57
then when you get out on the um stage
  • 00:39:59
they like stand on your ex so you have
  • 00:40:01
your ex to stand on you have to wait for
  • 00:40:03
a minute well the 32 cameras around you
  • 00:40:06
    take photographs while you're waiting
  • 00:40:08
because you think about it you can't do
  • 00:40:09
that afterwards either going to be
  • 00:40:11
jumping for joy or you're going to be
  • 00:40:12
crying and running out of there it' read
  • 00:40:14
on your face either way that's the first
  • 00:40:16
time you meet the Sharks is when you're
  • 00:40:18
on the stage and you're looking at them
  • 00:40:20
awkwardly for a minute and then finally
  • 00:40:22
they're like begin and then you jump
  • 00:40:24
into your pitch and go from there wow
  • 00:40:26
there's a lot of buildup a lot of
  • 00:40:27
buildup so there were so many challenges
  • 00:40:30
even getting to that that place where
  • 00:40:32
you're in front of the judges and then a
  • 00:40:35
slle of challenges I'm sure in actually
  • 00:40:37
growing the business so what are the top
  • 00:40:39
challenges you face when when trying to
  • 00:40:42
scale I mean scaling a business growing
  • 00:40:45
a business sounds great but every time
  • 00:40:47
you hit the next level there's all these
  • 00:40:50
issues like for example our Erp solution
  • 00:40:54
um we were on another product I won't
  • 00:40:56
    name it
  • 00:40:57
but um it was not scalable and we
  • 00:41:00
decided in 2019 to actually go in and
  • 00:41:03
Implement net Suite cuz like we need
  • 00:41:06
    something we need something cloud-based
  • 00:41:08
we need something scalable and this
  • 00:41:10
product actually we kind of this is a
  • 00:41:12
    cautionary tale because we didn't
  • 00:41:14
install it right away we didn't start on
  • 00:41:15
our implementation and then Co happened
  • 00:41:18
in you know early 2020 and our sales
  • 00:41:22
like we before Shark Tank we were about
  • 00:41:24
a half million um in 2019 we did 9.4
  • 00:41:27
million in sales and then in 2020 we
  • 00:41:31
    skyrocketed up to 51
  • 00:41:33
million and the biggest issue was as we
  • 00:41:37
were going through this our Erp broke
  • 00:41:40
down in July and we were putting
  • 00:41:43
Band-Aids on it just trying to keep it
  • 00:41:45
up and then on top of that in August of
  • 00:41:48
2020 our building flooded we literally
  • 00:41:50
walked up the stairs there's water
  • 00:41:53
coming down the steps we look over at
  • 00:41:55
the warehouse and out of the dock doors
  • 00:41:57
there's water coming out like a water
  • 00:41:58
man broke and not only our offices our
  • 00:42:02
    warehouse was underwater our accounting
  • 00:42:04
computer was in the water so pretty much
  • 00:42:08
we had to switch to paper while we then
  • 00:42:10
started implementing net Suite that was
  • 00:42:12
a nightmare go and so that just you know
  • 00:42:15
if you know you're growing the business
  • 00:42:17
don't put it off dive in hire the right
  • 00:42:19
people U the right implementation team
  • 00:42:22
to get it done do it right the first
  • 00:42:23
time and just go it's funny you you
  • 00:42:27
mentioned doing things on paper because
  • 00:42:29
our evpn founder Evan Goldberg was on
  • 00:42:31
earlier and he was talking about you
  • 00:42:33
know you can't run a business on a
  • 00:42:34
napkin you can't you can't run forecasts
  • 00:42:37
on on a napkin but it wasn't maybe a
  • 00:42:39
napkin but you were you were you were
  • 00:42:41
having to kind of make do with what you
  • 00:42:44
had which was paper before coming to
  • 00:42:45
netw Suite so that's a pretty incredible
  • 00:42:47
Story So speaking of Nets Suite how are
  • 00:42:49
you really utilizing the suite to run
  • 00:42:51
your business um we're pretty much
  • 00:42:54
trying the goal is to automate anything
  • 00:42:57
that's redundant the last thing I want
  • 00:42:59
is any of my employees to come in during
  • 00:43:01
the day and doing repetitive tasks um
  • 00:43:04
you have um save searches you have all
  • 00:43:07
these different tools inside of native
  • 00:43:09
netw Suite that you should Implement
  • 00:43:11
right away and you know I want my
  • 00:43:14
employees um around the water cooler
  • 00:43:18
talking about new business ideas or even
  • 00:43:20
talking about family or you know fun or
  • 00:43:22
the game last night I don't want them
  • 00:43:24
talking about the redundancy and the
  • 00:43:26
errors and everything else just because
  • 00:43:28
of you know redundant data entry so one
  • 00:43:31
is really starting off there and just
  • 00:43:34
looking at what you can automate we did
  • 00:43:36
that with our warehousing instead of uh
  • 00:43:38
    customer service looking at Excel
  • 00:43:40
exports uh for shipping uh we tied them
  • 00:43:43
in a net Suite so they could actually
  • 00:43:44
see real time what was happening I mean
  • 00:43:47
    that's a better customer service
  • 00:43:48
experience uh it's a better um you know
  • 00:43:51
employee uh experience as well so that
  • 00:43:54
was big and we did some customized tools
  • 00:43:57
we took um a uh Zone shipping kind of
  • 00:44:01
customized product and you think about
  • 00:44:03
it our products are really heavy and we
  • 00:44:05
only want to touch them once so we found
  • 00:44:06
a way to automate and consolidate the
  • 00:44:08
pck pack ship piece all inside of netw
  • 00:44:10
Suite as well which also reduced
  • 00:44:12
shipping errors and just made everyone's
  • 00:44:14
life a lot easier and a lot more
  • 00:44:16
    streamlined and collaborative and you're
  • 00:44:18
    looking at nets analytics Warehouse
  • 00:44:21
which is our solution that essentially
  • 00:44:22
    takes data from from everywhere
  • 00:44:24
    including netsuite and streamlines it
  • 00:44:27
and and really helps you glean the
  • 00:44:29
insights you need to drive better
  • 00:44:30
decisions so what are you hoping to get
  • 00:44:32
out of the solution it's the exact same
  • 00:44:34
thing is you know what's inside of netw
  • 00:44:37
Suite to begin with but now you get to
  • 00:44:40
expand you get to go into Shopify you
  • 00:44:42
get to go into Amazon and whatever your
  • 00:44:44
email marketing is maybe like clavo and
  • 00:44:47
pull all those data sources together now
  • 00:44:50
    the different departments you know
  • 00:44:51
    purchasing may look at something
  • 00:44:52
different from uh you know marketing
  • 00:44:55
from Manufacturing but if they're all
  • 00:44:58
looking at the same data from the same
  • 00:45:00
sources just in a way that suits them on
  • 00:45:02
    their own dashboard everyone's efficient
  • 00:45:04
everyone's looking at the same data they
  • 00:45:06
    have more productive conversations
  • 00:45:08
there's less false starts and fire
  • 00:45:10
drills and it's just a much more
  • 00:45:12
effective business both from you know
  • 00:45:14
really a culture side and finally that
  • 00:45:16
all transfers down to the customer
  • 00:45:18
experience as well so there are a lot of
  • 00:45:21
    Business Leaders entrepreneurs like
  • 00:45:24
yourself who are tuning in to netw Sweet
  • 00:45:26
TV today what advice would you give
  • 00:45:30
    them
  • 00:45:33
um I my background I'm a CPA so to it's
  • 00:45:37
all about the bottom line so I don't
  • 00:45:40
like to spend money but when I do then
  • 00:45:43
you do it right it's kind of like when
  • 00:45:45
we committed to netw Suite in 2019 we
  • 00:45:47
should have jumped in then and done it
  • 00:45:49
right also but if you're looking at
  • 00:45:50
least new building or anything else like
  • 00:45:53
your revenues are never guaranteed your
  • 00:45:56
expenses kind of are as a baseline so
  • 00:45:58
before you commit to signing new leases
  • 00:46:01
to buying new Capital Equipment make
  • 00:46:03
sure that you're covered for both the
  • 00:46:05
pros and the cons because you know Co
  • 00:46:07
hit was a blessing to us but for some
  • 00:46:09
people Co had the opposite effect and
  • 00:46:12
you always have to be cautious so always
  • 00:46:15
be willing and making sure you're
  • 00:46:16
hitting that bottom line whether things
  • 00:46:18
are going well and there's always the
  • 00:46:20
ups and downs and you ready for the
  • 00:46:21
roller coaster is there anything you
  • 00:46:23
wish you would have done differently
  • 00:46:25
    through throughout this journey
  • 00:46:28
I think probably just taking my own
  • 00:46:30
advice that I just gave cuz we you know
  • 00:46:32
we we built a uh we're going to build
  • 00:46:34
100,000 foot building we ended up
  • 00:46:36
building a 200,000 foot building and uh
  • 00:46:39
so now I kind of wish we were back at
  • 00:46:41
    100,000 because we've really settled
  • 00:46:43
into who we are now as a company but you
  • 00:46:45
know those changes and so you know now
  • 00:46:47
I'm inspired to start another business
  • 00:46:48
to fill it up with with other stuff
  • 00:46:50
which you know I have going on um but uh
  • 00:46:54
and other than that too I think just
  • 00:46:56
just trust in your team enable them to
  • 00:46:58
    make decisions I'm a very hands-off um
  • 00:47:02
owner uh I just hire the best people and
  • 00:47:04
I just give them all the resources to do
  • 00:47:06
their jobs and right now my team is just
  • 00:47:09
amazing and uh I mean that's why I'm
  • 00:47:12
able to come here and spend this time
  • 00:47:14
and do these things when they're all
  • 00:47:16
back um you know taking care of business
  • 00:47:19
I know just off camera we were talking
  • 00:47:21
about this you're a Serial entrepreneur
  • 00:47:22
and I was like how do you have time to
  • 00:47:24
be here and and the trust that you have
  • 00:47:26
    in your team
  • 00:47:27
is really special I people yeah so what
  • 00:47:30
is next for PRX performance what can we
  • 00:47:32
look forward to well PRX we believe
  • 00:47:36
everyone has the right to sweat we've
  • 00:47:37
helped out so many people work out in
  • 00:47:39
their home gym but one community that I
  • 00:47:41
think people don't um haven't provided
  • 00:47:45
products for is the group of kids with
  • 00:47:47
sensory needs so one out of 12 kids
  • 00:47:50
right now are either on the Spectrum
  • 00:47:52
with autism of ADHD Down syndrome and
  • 00:47:55
the challenge with this group is like
  • 00:47:58
you and I we want to work out we just go
  • 00:48:00
for a run and we go lifting and we kind
  • 00:48:02
of know when it's time to step back and
  • 00:48:04
take that break um their minds don't
  • 00:48:07
always work that way so they may become
  • 00:48:09
disruptive in class and that's when the
  • 00:48:11
teacher need to say hey they need a
  • 00:48:13
sensory break or they can raise their
  • 00:48:14
hands a sensory break so we created
  • 00:48:17
equipment this is our new line that's
  • 00:48:18
out now and this is americanmade and we
  • 00:48:21
have uh commercial equipment we have
  • 00:48:24
residential equipment we even have a
  • 00:48:26
    wheelchair swing that'll handle a
  • 00:48:28
    3,000lb motorized wheelchair so anyone
  • 00:48:32
can play and these tools allow kids to
  • 00:48:35
jump crash swing slide and play and what
  • 00:48:40
this does is it regulates uh sensory um
  • 00:48:44
allows them to reset so maybe they were
  • 00:48:47
disruptive in the classroom they can go
  • 00:48:48
take that break they come back and the
  • 00:48:50
longer they can stay with their peers
  • 00:48:52
the more likely they are to succeed and
  • 00:48:54
eventually find a job in the workforce
  • 00:48:57
and the less disruptive they are the
  • 00:48:58
kids in the class so that product is
  • 00:49:02
sensory RX and those are all live now
  • 00:49:05
and also we're launching another product
  • 00:49:07
    a new company on December 1st we're
  • 00:49:09
    inviting the top 20 occupational
  • 00:49:12
therapists in the United States to bring
  • 00:49:13
their constituents and this is going to
  • 00:49:16
    be targeted to caregivers occupational
  • 00:49:18
therapists and parents who have kids on
  • 00:49:20
the Spectrum and we're going to share
  • 00:49:22
    educational resources best practices but
  • 00:49:25
most importantly a Comm Community where
  • 00:49:27
    these occupational therapists can
  • 00:49:29
interact with these kids and the parents
  • 00:49:32
and what are the best practices we teach
  • 00:49:34
them how to use the swings and not only
  • 00:49:36
our products I want to invite anybody
  • 00:49:38
else who is in this Marketplace to come
  • 00:49:40
and throw your products online even if
  • 00:49:42
you're a competitor um I think you know
  • 00:49:45
a rise and Tide raises all ship and this
  • 00:49:47
community right now is growing and it
  • 00:49:48
needs these tools and resources and
  • 00:49:51
we're super excited about really being
  • 00:49:53
deeply involved with that wow those are
  • 00:49:55
some incredible goals that you have
  • 00:49:58
going on thank you and they're really
  • 00:50:00
going to make a difference we're trying
  • 00:50:01
we're doing our best what inspired these
  • 00:50:05
products you know I think you get to a
  • 00:50:07
point the great thing about being an
  • 00:50:09
entrepreneur is once you hit a level you
  • 00:50:12
and you feel like you've kind of made
  • 00:50:13
the money you need to make and and
  • 00:50:15
you've accomplished what you have to you
  • 00:50:17
start looking outside like what do other
  • 00:50:19
people need how can I help other people
  • 00:50:21
uh last couple businesses I started I
  • 00:50:23
invited in the PE some people I really
  • 00:50:25
trust uh to be owners in the company and
  • 00:50:28
that never really got to walk you know
  • 00:50:31
the path that I did so they get to see
  • 00:50:32
it from an ownership side and like to
  • 00:50:34
just continue doing that coming up with
  • 00:50:37
    new ideas and helping other
  • 00:50:38
entrepreneurs on their journey I teach
  • 00:50:40
some co-starter classes too for young
  • 00:50:42
entrepreneurs to help them it's a nwe
  • 00:50:44
course that guides them through from uh
  • 00:50:47
Inception to a pitch wow wow and uh just
  • 00:50:50
whatever I can do to just kind of pay
  • 00:50:51
back all the mentors that helped me
  • 00:50:54
amazing well thank you so much Brian for
  • 00:50:56
sharing your story and for being here
  • 00:50:57
with me today it's been a pleasure yeah
  • 00:51:00
Tor thank you for your time really
  • 00:51:01
appreciate the opportunity thank you and
  • 00:51:02
enjoy the rest of your sweet worlds all
  • 00:51:03
right we'll do all right all right
  • 00:51:05
everyone thank you so much for tuning in
  • 00:51:07
to netset TV and there is so much more
  • 00:51:10
to come Christina what are you doing
  • 00:51:13
    over
  • 00:51:14
there yes Tori I am here live on the
  • 00:51:17
explod floor with Farmhouse pottery and
  • 00:51:20
we are going to be here with this
  • 00:51:22
    wonderful pottery wheel making some
  • 00:51:25
pottery live in just a moment but first
  • 00:51:28
i'm with Kim gains general manager of
  • 00:51:31
    Farmhouse pottery and Jessica bonacera
  • 00:51:34
Master Potter and head of production uh
  • 00:51:37
Kim can you tell us a little bit about
  • 00:51:38
    Farmhouse Pottery sure Farmhouse Pottery
  • 00:51:41
is based in Woodstock Vermont we were
  • 00:51:42
established in 2012 and we really think
  • 00:51:45
about our brand as a Lifestyle brand
  • 00:51:47
with its heart in production wonderful
  • 00:51:49
and I would love to hear your story
  • 00:51:51
about uh Pottery how did you get to
  • 00:51:53
start making this what made you
  • 00:51:55
    interested and what's your history
  • 00:51:56
absolutely so I learned to make pottery
  • 00:51:59
originally at a summer camp as a camper
  • 00:52:01
in 2008 and then I went on to study
  • 00:52:04
studio art with a concentration in
  • 00:52:06
Ceramics in college and then joined the
  • 00:52:08
Farmhouse Pottery team in 2016 about
  • 00:52:11
eight years ago and I've been growing
  • 00:52:13
and learning ever since are you a part
  • 00:52:15
of kind of the creation product of
  • 00:52:18
design team tell us a little bit about
  • 00:52:19
that I am absolutely yeah so I am a
  • 00:52:22
member of the R&D team at Farmhouse
  • 00:52:24
Pottery so we do all of the new product
  • 00:52:26
design we really like to pull a lot of
  • 00:52:28
    inspiration from everyday life things
  • 00:52:31
that you can use that you can interact
  • 00:52:32
with that are going to make your day
  • 00:52:34
better that are going to be handcrafted
  • 00:52:35
and made by real humans in Vermont well
  • 00:52:38
they are beautiful pieces of Art and we
  • 00:52:40
like to think that net su's a piece of
  • 00:52:41
art uh how have you used netw Suite to
  • 00:52:44
help grow and mold your business
  • 00:52:46
absolutely so we launched netsuite about
  • 00:52:48
three years ago and couldn't have gotten
  • 00:52:50
to the point we are now without them uh
  • 00:52:52
it is the infrastructure that was
  • 00:52:54
missing from our beautiful formula so
  • 00:52:56
    from
  • 00:52:56
    tracking inventory to managing our
  • 00:52:58
finances all in one place it has been an
  • 00:53:00
    absolute seamless transition you're also
  • 00:53:02
one of our customers that utilizes ACS
  • 00:53:05
tell us a little bit about that
  • 00:53:06
experience and what positive things have
  • 00:53:07
come out of it sure so we didn't use ACS
  • 00:53:09
out of the gate really wanted to get
  • 00:53:11
settled into netw suite and figure out
  • 00:53:12
    what needed to happen afterwards
  • 00:53:14
additional tools joined ACS about a year
  • 00:53:17
and a half ago and they really were the
  • 00:53:18
missing ticket uh the account manager
  • 00:53:20
has been fantastic and has really helped
  • 00:53:22
me fine-tune some of the pieces that
  • 00:53:23
really needed attention that we weren't
  • 00:53:25
getting before is great news well we're
  • 00:53:28
here at sweet world I want to know
  • 00:53:30
obviously this is your first year what
  • 00:53:31
are you most looking forward to Bringing
  • 00:53:33
out of this absolutely I cannot wait to
  • 00:53:36
see how other companies are using netw
  • 00:53:39
Suite I obviously know how we use it how
  • 00:53:41
it helps our teams in our systems but
  • 00:53:43
see other brands and other companies how
  • 00:53:46
they use it whether they are makers like
  • 00:53:48
us or have product like us or they don't
  • 00:53:50
and how they're utilizing that Suite to
  • 00:53:51
help build their business like us
  • 00:53:53
excellent and you're kind of an old vet
  • 00:53:55
this is your third year here it's my
  • 00:53:57
third year here as well tell me what
  • 00:53:59
you're looking forward to learning this
  • 00:54:01
year yeah so the last two years I came
  • 00:54:03
by myself and was really a customer and
  • 00:54:04
looking at all the tools and the
  • 00:54:06
partners that were available to add on
  • 00:54:07
or investigate and this year I'm really
  • 00:54:09
looking through it with a customer lens
  • 00:54:11
uh getting to know other brands other
  • 00:54:13
companies that are using it the way we
  • 00:54:14
do and trying to figure out maybe they
  • 00:54:15
have tricks that I should learn from
  • 00:54:18
excellent well ladies I think it's time
  • 00:54:20
let's throw some pottery I'm going to
  • 00:54:23
give this here to you wonderful so this
  • 00:54:25
is our pottery wheel I have it pretty
  • 00:54:28
much set up for us to go today we're
  • 00:54:30
going to make a laurel spoon rest which
  • 00:54:31
is one of our top selling products it's
  • 00:54:34
great for by the stove super functional
  • 00:54:36
made of our you know stoneware clay body
  • 00:54:39
so you can grab that ball of clay right
  • 00:54:41
there I got the wheel head a little damp
  • 00:54:43
already so what you're going to do is
  • 00:54:45
throw it right down in the Middle with a
  • 00:54:46
    good
  • 00:54:47
    smack very
  • 00:54:49
good and then you're going to wet your
  • 00:54:52
hands and what we're going to do first
  • 00:54:54
is called centering so I'll show you
  • 00:54:57
what you want to do first is start to
  • 00:54:59
    squeeze
  • 00:55:02
in and then you're going to push down
  • 00:55:04
with a fist with your right hand so you
  • 00:55:07
want sort of even pressure with your
  • 00:55:09
left hand on the side and your right
  • 00:55:10
hand on top and you're pushing it right
  • 00:55:12
into the middle I'm also going to grab
  • 00:55:14
    this little sponge
  • 00:55:17
okay smoothing with my left pushing down
  • 00:55:19
with my right okay pushing it right into
  • 00:55:22
    the middle slow and
  • 00:55:24
    steady beautiful now slowly let
  • 00:55:28
    go
  • 00:55:30
awesome we're feeling good I think we
  • 00:55:32
can go a little bit flatter okay so
  • 00:55:35
really slowly try and use the wheel
  • 00:55:37
Basin as like a little Anchor Point and
  • 00:55:40
keep pushing this down a little bit
  • 00:55:42
flatter like okay maybe a quarter of an
  • 00:55:44
    inch
  • 00:55:47
    okay
  • 00:55:49
    perfect now slowly let
  • 00:55:52
go it's kind of looking like something
  • 00:55:55
it's getting there it's getting there we
  • 00:55:56
have sort of what we call the floor of
  • 00:55:58
the pot established now the place where
  • 00:56:01
the spoon is actually going to sit so
  • 00:56:03
now we're going to push up the wall so
  • 00:56:04
I'm going to give you this sponge okay
  • 00:56:07
and with your right hand with your four
  • 00:56:09
fingers on top you're going to slowly
  • 00:56:10
start to push in and you'll see that
  • 00:56:12
clay come up and we're going to just
  • 00:56:14
rest our left hand to sort of steady got
  • 00:56:17
    it
  • 00:56:21
okay the wall is rising the wall is
  • 00:56:25
    rising making our cute little
  • 00:56:28
wall and now we're going to slowly let
  • 00:56:30
go awesome I'm going to have you pass me
  • 00:56:33
that little rib okay awesome going to
  • 00:56:36
take off just a little bit of this extra
  • 00:56:38
clay that we don't need and now we're
  • 00:56:40
going to round out our Rim so with our
  • 00:56:42
left hand we're going to sort of pinch
  • 00:56:44
it and steady it and with our right hand
  • 00:56:45
we're just going to place it on top and
  • 00:56:47
sort of round it out make sure it's nice
  • 00:56:49
    and clean and
  • 00:56:51
    smooth okay
  • 00:56:58
nice very good and now we're going to
  • 00:57:03
soak some of this water up out of the
  • 00:57:05
inside make sure it's nice and
  • 00:57:07
    [Music]
  • 00:57:09
smooth you make it look so easy uh it's
  • 00:57:12
just a little bit of practice yeah and
  • 00:57:14
now we're going to do the most fun part
  • 00:57:16
which is stretching our spout in so if
  • 00:57:18
you look at our sample it has this
  • 00:57:19
little place for the handle of the spoon
  • 00:57:21
to go so what you're going to do is make
  • 00:57:23
a horseshoe with your left hand on the
  • 00:57:25
outside point right to the middle and
  • 00:57:27
then wiggle back and forth and it just
  • 00:57:29
takes nice soft motions exactly and then
  • 00:57:32
    you can slowly
  • 00:57:35
release and we have our SPO rest think
  • 00:57:37
that looks that's similar very close to
  • 00:57:41
what this is supposed to be looking very
  • 00:57:43

  • 00:57:54
if this net Suite thing doesn't work out
  • 00:57:56
I think you have some options in Pottery
  • 00:57:59
beautiful work okay I am joined here by
  • 00:58:02
James Whitmore he's the chief growth
  • 00:58:04
officer at cigo and net sweet sponsor hi
  • 00:58:06
James thanks for being here hi Tori I'm
  • 00:58:09
thanks for having me how's your sweet
  • 00:58:10
world going so far so far well it's very
  • 00:58:12
early in the event but so far so good
  • 00:58:14
it's um all coming together nicely I
  • 00:58:16
think well welcome welcome to Sweet
  • 00:58:18
world so James tell me about SLO what
  • 00:58:20
does the company do you don't know
  • 00:58:23
cigo I know cigo but they know
  • 00:58:26
well cigo is one of uh I think the
  • 00:58:28
biggest netsuite SC partner and has been
  • 00:58:31
a partner for many many years over 10
  • 00:58:33
years and cigo is known as an
  • 00:58:35
    integration company basically
  • 00:58:37
    integration and automation between net
  • 00:58:39
suite and any other app that you may
  • 00:58:41
have in your Tech stack and whether
  • 00:58:44
you're a small company looking to
  • 00:58:46
integrate you know Shopify or Salesforce
  • 00:58:48
with netw Suite or your Fortune 500
  • 00:58:51
company integrating many many apps and
  • 00:58:53
using massive data sets so goes to the
  • 00:58:56
for you for that integration and
  • 00:58:57
automation wow lot lots of options there
  • 00:59:00
that that you can use and so how does
  • 00:59:02
    netsu really help netsuite customers
  • 00:59:05
power up their use of The Suite well you
  • 00:59:07
know netw customers want to put their
  • 00:59:09
Erp system in the center of their
  • 00:59:11
business right it's a single system of
  • 00:59:13
Truth for so many parts of their
  • 00:59:15
business and what we do is help netwe
  • 00:59:18
customers uh take data from different
  • 00:59:21
systems move it into net Suite so that
  • 00:59:23
there is one version of the truth build
  • 00:59:25
automated workflows that save uh your
  • 00:59:28
manual effort and time uh and really
  • 00:59:31
make netw weite the most powerful system
  • 00:59:34
it can be for uh uh for for their
  • 00:59:36
business and so what is the future of
  • 00:59:39
sgo like what are some key initiatives
  • 00:59:41
you're working on and how do you see
  • 00:59:43
automation really evolving yeah well um
  • 00:59:45
you know cigo is you know a high growth
  • 00:59:47
company and continues to evolve uh many
  • 00:59:50
people know cigo perhaps as a
  • 00:59:52
    point-to-point integration uh connector
  • 00:59:55
type of company but it's so much more
  • 00:59:56
than that you know we're one of the
  • 00:59:58
leading iPass integration platforms as a
  • 01:00:01
service companies now um over recent
  • 01:00:04
months we've introduced new parts of the
  • 01:00:06
portfolio and API management and EDI
  • 01:00:09
management um so moving beyond just
  • 01:00:12
iPass and uh you know the company
  • 01:00:14
continues to grow and get you know serve
  • 01:00:17
more complex type of needs and then if
  • 01:00:19
you think about the future of
  • 01:00:21
integration um in general uh basically
  • 01:00:25
AI like in every other segment of the
  • 01:00:27
industry is having a huge influence and
  • 01:00:29
for us there's really three ways that it
  • 01:00:32
uh plays one is in the platform itself
  • 01:00:34
making the platform smarter uh fixing
  • 01:00:37
more errors kind of like automating more
  • 01:00:40
    processes within the platforms the
  • 01:00:42
second is for users of the
  • 01:00:44
platform uh and how they actually
  • 01:00:46
generate code we have many kind like
  • 01:00:49
    pre-built templates and integration apps
  • 01:00:51
but many of our customers you know write
  • 01:00:53
their own code within the platform and
  • 01:00:55
AI tool to help them write that code and
  • 01:00:57
then the third area is how they build AI
  • 01:01:00
into their workflows using AI as a step
  • 01:01:03
in a work uh workflow uh to automate a
  • 01:01:06
task or do some of the data analysis and
  • 01:01:09
kind of like you know and so all of that
  • 01:01:10
makes kind of like integration tools I
  • 01:01:12
    think more powerful more relevant
  • 01:01:14
today's business um and uh you know
  • 01:01:17
that's an exciting future for for
  • 01:01:19
    companies like yeah absolutely it's
  • 01:01:21
like we have all this automation that's
  • 01:01:23
really helping these businesses grow but
  • 01:01:25
even that on Automation in and of itself
  • 01:01:27
is evolving at a really rapid Pace that
  • 01:01:29
that is really helpful to to power that
  • 01:01:31
growth that we're looking for and for
  • 01:01:33
you know net week customer just helps
  • 01:01:34
the net site platform become more
  • 01:01:36
powerful integrate more apps uh save you
  • 01:01:40
know drive more efficiency by drive by
  • 01:01:42
    automating more uh workflows between
  • 01:01:45
apps and platforms so very powerful tool
  • 01:01:48
and so where can our customers learn
  • 01:01:50
more about cigo well you can stop by the
  • 01:01:52
booth if you're here live in person um
  • 01:01:54
stop by uh we'd love to meet all of you
  • 01:01:57
here there's thousands of people here
  • 01:01:58
but we'd love to meet you all amazing
  • 01:02:02
and yeah you said thousands it really is
  • 01:02:04
Thousands this is our biggest sweet
  • 01:02:06
world ever which is really exciting so
  • 01:02:08
what is your favorite part of sweet
  • 01:02:10
world it's just getting to meet all our
  • 01:02:12
customers and our partners uh it's just
  • 01:02:15
a wonderful opportunity to uh to meet
  • 01:02:17
them put names and faces together and uh
  • 01:02:20
you know hear from them what they're
  • 01:02:21
doing and how they're using our platform
  • 01:02:23
I just love that thank you so much for
  • 01:02:25
joining me I hope you have a wonderful
  • 01:02:27
rest of your sweet world and to all of
  • 01:02:29
our viewers we're going to hear how
  • 01:02:31
little words project is using Nets to
  • 01:02:33
grow and then we're back here in the
  • 01:02:35
    studio so don't go
  • 01:02:37
away Little Words project is a jewelry
  • 01:02:39
and accessory company founded on the
  • 01:02:41
    principle of sharing and spreading
  • 01:02:43
    positivity our customers love Little
  • 01:02:45
Words project because the words they
  • 01:02:47
wear on their wrist are constant
  • 01:02:48
reminders to them of what they're going
  • 01:02:50
through or what inspires them we do sell
  • 01:02:53
    to thousands of different brick-and
  • 01:02:55
mortar location that we don't own
  • 01:02:56
    through Target norstrom Urban Outfitters
  • 01:02:59
as well as our our stores and our
  • 01:03:01
    e-commerce business so managing the
  • 01:03:03
nuances and the intricacies of inventory
  • 01:03:06
and transfer orders and sales and all
  • 01:03:08
the things that go across those channels
  • 01:03:09
is is uniquely challenging to our
  • 01:03:11
    business life before netsuite was
  • 01:03:13
complicated we weren't built to scale to
  • 01:03:15
the level that we are today we are using
  • 01:03:18
a platform called aims 360 and
  • 01:03:20
QuickBooks nothing talked to each other
  • 01:03:23
    we were doing manual reconciliation
  • 01:03:25
every month trying to figure out what we
  • 01:03:27
sold on wholesale what we sold on the
  • 01:03:29
website and so not having that one
  • 01:03:32
single source of Truth led to decision-
  • 01:03:34
    making that wasn't fully comprehensive
  • 01:03:36
and robust I would walk in our back
  • 01:03:38
fulfillment room and I would notice that
  • 01:03:41
hundreds of our pegs were empty nobody
  • 01:03:43
had any idea why no one knew where the
  • 01:03:45
product was going and that was when we
  • 01:03:48
all looked at each other and said we
  • 01:03:50
need to do something about this and our
  • 01:03:53
vpa product Franchesca said you need you
  • 01:03:55
    need that's you need it
  • 01:03:59
now all areas of the business run on net
  • 01:04:02
Suite now we use it across every single
  • 01:04:04
channel that we're in and we use it in a
  • 01:04:06
way that is our single source of Truth
  • 01:04:08
we have our wholesale orders either EDI
  • 01:04:11
to net Suite Andor we have a reporting
  • 01:04:13
platform that allows our customers to
  • 01:04:15
purchase from Shopify and e-commerce are
  • 01:04:17
integrated through their API right into
  • 01:04:19
ours and then all of our stores which Al
  • 01:04:21
also run on Shopify are fed right into
  • 01:04:23
next week the biggest kpi that we have
  • 01:04:25
    improved is our inventory turn
  • 01:04:27
historically in prior to net weite our
  • 01:04:29
inventory turn was two to three times
  • 01:04:31
per year this year is going to be 6 to
  • 01:04:33
seven times it's a dramatic improvement
  • 01:04:36
in our ability to have real time data
  • 01:04:38
into our inventory levels and then make
  • 01:04:40
sales-based decisions on how to offload
  • 01:04:42
that inventory if we're loaded in one
  • 01:04:44
area or how to reorder in other areas
  • 01:04:46
that we are seeing momentum I can now
  • 01:04:49
call our VP of finance and get a buy
  • 01:04:51
Channel even buy store real time p&l um
  • 01:04:55
that that to be honest with you we
  • 01:04:57
couldn't do before we we never had that
  • 01:05:00
    realtime p&l reporting particularly at
  • 01:05:01
the channel level now with really a
  • 01:05:03
press of a button I can get output to go
  • 01:05:05
and print out and put in my pocket and
  • 01:05:07
    go off my
  • 01:05:08
day our business has grown 10x and
  • 01:05:11
netsuite has allowed us to do
  • 01:05:16
that welcome back to netsuite TV wow
  • 01:05:19
Tori it has been an action-packed day I
  • 01:05:22
cannot believe day one's over already I
  • 01:05:24
know time truly flies when you're having
  • 01:05:27
fun throwing pottery and talking about
  • 01:05:28
software well those are all of my
  • 01:05:30
favorite things for sure I know uh but
  • 01:05:32
it was really interesting hearing about
  • 01:05:34
all of our new products hearing all
  • 01:05:35
about how we're embedding Ai and how our
  • 01:05:38
customers are using that Suite to grow
  • 01:05:39
their businesses absolutely and I can't
  • 01:05:42
wait to do it again but for now I think
  • 01:05:43
