- 00:13:26we do is we use the tempo as the easiest
- 00:13:28Pro a q for control yeah and then
- 00:13:32whenever I see you doing reps at that
- 00:13:34kind of speed I'm like oh yeah he's just
- 00:13:37getting it to the soft pause position
- 00:13:39reaching Chester and then pressing got
- 00:13:42fuckle or less significantly less to do
- 00:13:45with the like one two totally three
- 00:13:48totally four we just use that as a cue
- 00:13:51to get people to control yeah yes that's
- 00:13:53the most easy one for me to see it on it
- 00:13:57nothing else is moving there's no
- 00:13:58movement it's just
- 00:14:05cool chest up at the

- 00:16:53so is the way that you're doing these
- 00:16:55you create a a target number with your
- 00:16:59first set when you're freshest yeah and
- 00:17:01then on subsequent sets when you're more
- 00:17:03fatigued you continue to work off that
- 00:17:05but you use the Mya rep thing to allow
- 00:17:07you to always hit it yep right okay it's
- 00:17:10just a way to smash in a lot more volume
- 00:17:12in a nonarbitrary way yes you're like oh
- 00:17:15how many more sets do I have to do
- 00:17:17however many sets you plann but now you
- 00:17:20know it's going to take a lot of effort
- 00:17:21yep because it can normally be like I
- 00:17:23did 15 I feel good I slacked off and did
- 00:17:26eight on the next one I could have done
- 00:17:2710 y this way it's like you're going to
- 00:17:29get all the volume you promis you're
- 00:17:30always going to hit 15 it just might
- 00:17:32take a little while exactly and research
- 00:17:34shows that putting in the volume is what
- 00:17:38determin growth by far just get all the
- 00:17:40Reps in sets breakdowns all that stuff
- 00:17:44rest
- 00:17:45times uh a feature but not super
- 00:17:48important all the Reps you need to get
- 00:17:50in very
- 00:17:54important all right let's get about six

- 00:18:13quite Serene before you start your set
- 00:18:16yeah and then switch the ancestral
- 00:18:19trauma but n and only when required yeah
- 00:18:23so like Jared and I have come to this
- 00:18:26conclusion that uh we're now
- 00:18:29sufficiently able to contract our
- 00:18:31muscles hard and we're strong enough
- 00:18:35that hyping up at the beginning of a set
- 00:18:36just increases our probability of injury
- 00:18:39but also doesn't yield much of anything
- 00:18:42because you don't need to be hyped for
- 00:18:43the first couple reps you could do those
- 00:18:44in your sleep you need to get hype for
- 00:18:46the last couple reps so you'll see my
- 00:18:48facial intensity incrementally increase
- 00:18:50throughout but one of the reasons I'm
- 00:18:54Serene before a set right at the
- 00:18:56beginning is because
- 00:18:59you know like uh there's so many
- 00:19:01distractions around us when there's hot
- 00:19:04guys hot girls all the [ __ ] going on
- 00:19:07almost music the
- 00:19:09scene thoughts of like oh I'm like Mike
- 00:19:12I'm an influencer people know me do I
- 00:19:16have to look a certain way do I have to
- 00:19:17act a certain way how are people looking
- 00:19:19at me all this clutter just noise and
- 00:19:22then so before I go I if you imagine the
- 00:19:25noise like decel like signals on a audio
- 00:19:27input
- 00:19:31and then I
- 00:19:32go that's very cool ocean of cough
- 00:19:35that's very cool I can't get my mojo and
- 00:19:37connect with my body really well if I
- 00:19:39have sociological clutter in my brain so
- 00:19:42I have to let it sink which why you tend
- 00:19:44to have your gym totally silent totally
- 00:19:45empty it's empty only because I have no
- 00:19:48friends what in the middle of nowhere
- 00:19:51for sure yeah I like uh I love training
- 00:19:54with gyms with other people around um I
- 00:19:56don't like music when I train
- 00:19:59uh especially music I didn't choose it
- 00:20:01doesn't bother me but like it's another
- 00:20:03sociological input that has to get

- 00:23:19my life I I wasn't really uh I wasn't
- 00:23:22looking for any more flings I was

- 00:23:58story and she was like yeah and then

- 00:24:11very awkward and he would say the most

- 00:24:25and I had to explain to him that that's

- 00:24:30influencers they say that and I'm like

- 00:24:58was just just all kinds of [ __ ] wacky

- 00:25:07got to study for like a medical exam so

- 00:25:12like in a few months and then she was
- 00:25:14back and we started chatting and then we
- 00:25:16met up in real life and well we were
- 00:25:19both adults so [ __ ] that's cool yeah

- 00:25:24phone for the first time like after a
- 00:25:27few DMs and uh it was uh we spoke all

- 00:27:03most energy you work the hardest during
- 00:27:06your first set and then the other sets
- 00:27:09you just add on the volume so the first
- 00:27:12set
- 00:27:14matters especially in this you're
- 00:27:16inheriting that first set in a different
- 00:27:18kind of way

- 00:28:19more to risk there and like ah hot
- 00:28:21chicks a 10 a penny none of it's
- 00:28:22conscious nothing to risk at all so uh

- 00:28:28amazing so you made to feel very
- 00:28:30comfortable on a level and you'd already
- 00:28:32built up that by the time that I talked

- 00:28:46was much more intimidated talking to uh
- 00:28:49super hot girls uh than I was ever
- 00:28:52intimidated talking to girls who for
- 00:28:55whom it mattered or intelligent girls
- 00:28:57one of my factors of intimidation for
- 00:28:59hot girls is a big contradiction in my
- 00:29:03brain which is I want to be around you
- 00:29:06because I want that sweetness between
- 00:29:07your legs but I don't want to [ __ ]
- 00:29:09talk to you because you're usually full
- 00:29:10of [ __ ] Silly Putty and so the idea
- 00:29:13of like if I'm in a club or a bar
- 00:29:15talking to girls like number one my
- 00:29:17thought is I don't want to [ __ ] talk to
- 00:29:18any of you dumbass [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm
- 00:29:20gonna talk to you about because I have
- 00:29:22to it's too loud anyway I can't talk
- 00:29:23about [ __ ] right and you know I have to
- 00:29:25and I have to blah blah blah blah blah
- 00:29:27but uh when talking to Smart girls that
- 00:29:29can engage intellectually that's my
- 00:29:31that's my world I know that I know that
- 00:29:33failing massively also most girls will
- 00:29:36nerf their intelligence around guys they
- 00:29:39not intimidate which is profoundly
- 00:29:42ridiculous but I understand where
- 00:29:43they're coming from especially given
- 00:29:45that most guys are [ __ ] sure well
- 00:29:47most SMART Girls I've written off as not
- 00:29:48smart because they never came off as
- 00:29:50smart uh I I used to be told like like
- 00:29:53in high school people are like uh you
- 00:29:56know like what what do girls like in a
- 00:29:57guy and a ton of girls as well as a ton
- 00:29:59of older people would say intelligence
- 00:30:01that that's the biggest [ __ ] lie I've
- 00:30:04ever been told my life what nobody out
- 00:30:06here likes intelligence what are you
- 00:30:07[ __ ] kidding me like if if girls liked
- 00:30:09intelligence I'd be swimming in that
- 00:30:10[ __ ] from day one I was not now of
- 00:30:12course like I'm not very facially
- 00:30:14attractive don't have confidence which
- 00:30:16is a huge killer I'm not tall so it's
- 00:30:18like three strikes against me right off
- 00:30:19hand and the confidence woman is the
- 00:30:20biggest now when you get some confidence
- 00:30:22you're in now I'm like relevant and
- 00:30:25famous and super rich and so like now
- 00:30:27it's just like [ __ ] press I also
- 00:30:29don't need it cuz I have a wife but the
- 00:30:31intelligence thing never I've never met
- 00:30:34a single girl who I was convinced was
- 00:30:36actually attracting to intelligence
- 00:30:38crystal says she is my wife but she also
- 00:30:41doesn't find my body attractive she's
- 00:30:44not even into all the muscles she could
- 00:30:45give think about what int lots of other
- 00:30:47things are proxies for intelligence
- 00:30:50humor uh the ability to humor is really
- 00:30:52a proxy for intelligence I think it's
- 00:30:54some of the funniest people I've ever
- 00:30:56[ __ ] met are [ __ ] [ __ ] in
- 00:30:58certain ways but I think that there's a
- 00:30:59particular type of humor which can be
- 00:31:01born out intelligence and incisiveness
- 00:31:03you not agree maybe sure I just I don't
- 00:31:07know the space intellectually I don't
- 00:31:08know if that's true empirically I'm I'm
- 00:31:10sure smart people can make a a much
- 00:31:13better Cascades of humor much more
- 00:31:15observational can put out point out
- 00:31:17relational patterns analogies and stuff
- 00:31:19that are humorous but uh usually uh you
- 00:31:22know that's a kind of that's
- 00:31:24intelligence but it's not like like what
- 00:31:26I think girls are attracted to
- 00:31:27intelligence
- 00:31:28I think tell them your test scores from
- 00:31:30college and they like start getting wet
- 00:31:32I've never seen that transpire a single
- 00:31:34time money competence yeah yeah I a
- 00:31:37competence like I don't know if women
- 00:31:39care about competence they care about
- 00:31:40where you sort on the social hierarchy
- 00:31:43um and as long as you're like taller and
- 00:31:45manlier and you talk to them like this
- 00:31:46they love that that's for sure true it's
- 00:31:48by no means clear what else now of
- 00:31:50course like like guys say they like XYZ
- 00:31:52and a girl but they really like
- 00:31:53something else girls say they like XYZ
- 00:31:55and guys but the evidence from the
- 00:31:57relationship they pursue is otherwise
- 00:32:00what a black pill often not always what

- 00:32:34you pass certain tiers you're welcome to
- 00:32:37others like like little gates in a lock
- 00:32:38or something and then you yeah yeah 100%
- 00:32:42so like if I was going to chat those
- 00:32:44girls up and I was single uh I'd have to
- 00:32:47have a way in for them to be like okay
- 00:32:50yeah and it have to be something it has
- 00:32:51to be status Renown presence money dress
- 00:32:56training size arity they've seen me
- 00:32:59before we did one of these before so
- 00:33:01then all the other stuff matter so
- 00:33:03that's one thing that's it like
- 00:33:04familiarity is super interesting one
- 00:33:06especially for like the really really
- 00:33:07black Bel guys out there how many guys
- 00:33:09that work in an office of some kind end
- 00:33:11up getting attracted to some chick and
- 00:33:13they're like she's a strong five I'm
- 00:33:18just around her a lot and there's
- 00:33:19something about being around someone a
- 00:33:20lot that I don't know what the [ __ ]
- 00:33:22going on sure you go to the same run
- 00:33:24Club every Saturday you go to the same
- 00:33:26gym four times a week at the same time
- 00:33:28and there's that same chick in there
- 00:33:29sure if she's single and you're single
- 00:33:31and you're kind of sort of looking yeah
- 00:33:33there's like this inflationary value
- 00:33:35that happens you know what I mean local
- 00:33:37maximum and familiarity is like no one's
- 00:33:40ever talking about the mate value of
- 00:33:43it's It's inherently an interpersonal
- 00:33:45thing as opposed to held by either
- 00:33:47person individually yes so I think
- 00:33:49things like humor things like
- 00:33:52intelligence things like long-term mate
- 00:33:55value kindness openness in listening
- 00:33:59they don't get you any attraction points
- 00:34:02with girls unless you have an outward
- 00:34:06manifestation of deep status which can
- 00:34:08be as simple as just ball just
- 00:34:10confidently put up and she's like o okay

- 00:34:17and so that entry point is huge and it's
- 00:34:22so like guys who are nerdy kind of shy
