    a reminder of how resin works I'm going

    to grab a stack of these pale oak logs

    we're going to head outside here and

    according to the angle of the Sun at

    least it's probably going to be night

    make sure this area out here is lit up

    so we can do a couple of quick

    start spawning in the creaking in order

    for a creaking heart to be active it

    needs to be sandwiched between two pale

    you can actually place the creaking

    can go sideways which means we can lay

    out a creaking heart like so almost like

    a little Christmas cracker with the two

    night begins to fall even before some of

    the other mobs have started to spawn a

    to come up and attack you and as you can

    see he's already done a little bit of

    damage to me so maybe we'll take out the

    creaking heart now and spare this guy

    the trouble of trying to take me down so

    from that we got 15 resin clumps which

    is just under the amount we need to make

    a couple more blocks of resin and the

    other very important thing to remember

    here is that we need to use a silk touch

    axe to pick up the creaking heart if you
  • 00:03:03
    just break the creaking heart it will
  • 00:03:04
    disintegrate you'll get some XP if
  • 00:03:06
    you've got one from the natural world

    around you but these regular creaking

    hearts are just going to be destroyed

    the good news is you can craft them once

    you have access to resin so once you
  • 00:03:16
    found a tree with a creaking heart in it

    you managed to get a little bit of resin

    you can put a block of resin between two

    pale oak logs in the crafting table in a

    similar way to how you craft a shulker

    box and you end up with a new creaking

    heart which is why I was happy that we

    had a couple of blocks of resin because

    we want to make a handful of these I'm

    another great reason to have a resin

    Clump Farm because even if you don't

    like the texture of blocks of resin you

    might like the texture of the creaking

    heart and personally I really like the

    way this looks when tiled together I

    like the idea that you could use this as

    some sort of like stripped bark texture

    where the bark hasn't been stripped

    fully and the fact that you can lay it

    out sideways the fact that the block can

    be oriented horizontally as well as

    vertically means that say in a quarry

    this could be the tire track of a heavy

    how are we going to do it it's actually

    going to be surprisingly simple the main

    thing I want from this is a decent

    black dye which I currently do manually

    because that's far enough away from any

    this at least 32 blocks up in the sky

    the reason for that is because the

    now we're going to make some mang Grove

    this area towards the player which is

    we're actually going to build one

    section of this farm and then build

    out so that it's a basically a 3X3 with

    a hole cut out in one corner this

    section here is going to be a wall this

    the back wall is going to go along here
