I Used ChatGPT to Rank #1 in Google (in One Hour)
- 00:00:00for most people they won't learn this
- 00:00:01lesson until they actually get
- 00:00:03everything that they want until they get
- 00:00:04the promotion and they realize that
- 00:00:06career is not for them until they get
- 00:00:08that dream guy or dream girl and they
- 00:00:10realize that this is not the
- 00:00:11relationship that they want to be in
- 00:00:12until they buy that big ass house and
- 00:00:14they realize how empty they are if you
- 00:00:17are in your 20s this is my advice to you
- 00:00:20number one build up your assets in a
- 00:00:23very specific order I became a
- 00:00:24millionaire when I was 26 I'm 30 now I
- 00:00:27just turned 30 this week my net worth is
- 00:00:29in the multiple million and technically
- 00:00:30I am financially free there's two
- 00:00:32reasons for this number one I started a
- 00:00:34business that ended up grossing over 10
- 00:00:36million Canadian dollars in its lifetime
- 00:00:38but more importantly number two I
- 00:00:40learned about the different types of
- 00:00:42assets that exist in life and I was able
- 00:00:44to prioritize them in the right order a
- 00:00:47mistake that a lot of young people make
- 00:00:49is they are in such a rush to build up
- 00:00:52their financial Capital they think that
- 00:00:55just by investing and just by saving
- 00:00:57money in their 20s is going to be enough
- 00:01:00to be rich the truth is is unless you
- 00:01:02are a trust fund baby and you already
- 00:01:04come from money if you are someone who
- 00:01:06comes from lower income class family or
- 00:01:08middle-income class family like I did
- 00:01:10you need to be playing a whole different
- 00:01:12game and that game is understanding the
- 00:01:14different types of leverages that you
- 00:01:16have and building those up first before
- 00:01:18you build up your financial Capital the
- 00:01:20first type of capital that you should be
- 00:01:21building up is your intellectual Capital
- 00:01:23this means with all the money that
- 00:01:25you're making and the time that you have
- 00:01:26you should be investing in yourself and
- 00:01:28in your learning skill yourself deep in
- 00:01:30your knowledge for example when I was 16
- 00:01:33I think I paid $12 to read my first
- 00:01:36personal development book it was called
- 00:01:37How to Win Friends and Influence People
- 00:01:39it completely changed my life it changed
- 00:01:41the way that I navigated relationships
- 00:01:43and it brought me a lot of opportunities
- 00:01:45even just learning how to communicate
- 00:01:47nowadays there's even better books out
- 00:01:48there and way more resources but what
- 00:01:51you want to be doing is if you don't
- 00:01:53have the money right now you should be
- 00:01:55reading books you should be listening to
- 00:01:57podcasts to YouTube videos to expand
- 00:01:59your the knowledge and learn as many
- 00:02:01skills as possible learn more about the
- 00:02:02world once you start making some money
- 00:02:05you want to try to invest that into
- 00:02:07courses or mentors that can FASTT track
- 00:02:09your learning fast track your skill
- 00:02:11development the goal of building up your
- 00:02:14intellectual capital is for you to be
- 00:02:16perceived as someone who is valuable to
- 00:02:19the marketplace because once you have a
- 00:02:22sense of value then you're going to be
- 00:02:24able to build up the second type of
- 00:02:26capital which is your Social Capital
- 00:02:28it's very hard to build up a really
- 00:02:30strong and Rich Network without having a
- 00:02:33sense of intellectual capital and so in
- 00:02:36the process of you building up your
- 00:02:38intellectual Capital you want to find as
- 00:02:40many ways as possible to help people
- 00:02:43with your intellect to help people with
- 00:02:45the skills that you've acquired for me
- 00:02:48in my career I helped a lot of people
- 00:02:51through mentoring others through
- 00:02:54offering my services and my resources to
- 00:02:56others through eventually digitizing my
- 00:02:59int ual capital I started a YouTube
- 00:03:01channel and through my videos I just
- 00:03:03taught people everything that I was
- 00:03:05learning and from there when you build
- 00:03:08your intellectual Capital eventually
- 00:03:10people will notice you you want to build
- 00:03:12yourself up to be a person that people
- 00:03:15can clearly see you were working on
- 00:03:16yourself and you are becoming a better
- 00:03:18person and So eventually I built up my
- 00:03:21social capital which is building my
- 00:03:22brand on YouTube now you don't have to
- 00:03:24be a YouTuber to do this if you are
- 00:03:26working a 9o5 and you're in a job right
- 00:03:28now even you just helping your
- 00:03:30co-workers going above and beyond will
- 00:03:32get you noticed by upper management who
- 00:03:35will then connect you to whoever you
- 00:03:36want to build a strong Network and the
- 00:03:38reason why you want to do this is
- 00:03:39because the stronger Network that you
- 00:03:41have the stronger and richer Social
- 00:03:42Capital that you have opportunities will
- 00:03:45come way faster and way easier for you
- 00:03:48once you've built up your Social Capital
- 00:03:49the next type of capital that's going to
- 00:03:51be really easy for you to build is your
- 00:03:52human capital now this is very specific
- 00:03:55to those of you who want to build a
- 00:03:58business who have AIC specific project
- 00:04:00that you want to go deep on but human
- 00:04:02capital is being able to recruit others
- 00:04:05into your cause so that you can scale up
- 00:04:07your time and so in my case when I built
- 00:04:09up my YouTube channel and I built up a
- 00:04:11brand for myself through helping so many
- 00:04:13people it was a lot easier for me to
- 00:04:16find Talent there were people that
- 00:04:17wanted to work for me rather than me
- 00:04:20reaching out to other people now of
- 00:04:22course you don't need all of that if you
- 00:04:24already have money it'll be easy to hire
- 00:04:26out and Outsource your time but if you
- 00:04:28don't have money having a strong Social
- 00:04:31Capital will help you get human capital
- 00:04:33a lot faster and a lot cheaper once
- 00:04:35you've built up your intellectual your
- 00:04:37social and your human capital you'll
- 00:04:39naturally be at a place where you have
- 00:04:41more financial Capital than other people
- 00:04:44in your age range and this is where you
- 00:04:47can make life-changing money whereas if
- 00:04:49you don't have any of those other
- 00:04:51capitals and let's say you only have
- 00:04:5210,000 20,000 in your bank account yes
- 00:04:55you can save it but it's going to take a
- 00:04:57while for you to make life-changing
- 00:04:58money and so instead instead if you
- 00:05:00actually invested that in yourself and
- 00:05:03you built up the other capitals first
- 00:05:04you're actually fast-tracking your
- 00:05:06ability to potentially make your first
- 00:05:08100,000 and then your next 100,000 and
- 00:05:11then eventually you may even get to a
- 00:05:13place where you're making half a million
- 00:05:14or a million and that's life-changing
- 00:05:17money because you now have a way bigger
- 00:05:20principle to play with and now with that
- 00:05:22money you can invest in real estate you
- 00:05:24can invest in the market and it's going
- 00:05:26to have a way bigger impact on your
- 00:05:28wealth strategy
- 00:05:30than if you tried to nickel and dime in
- 00:05:32your 20s second piece of advice and that
- 00:05:34is work hard for everything that you've
- 00:05:36ever wanted acquire all the things make
- 00:05:39all the money do it sooner rather than
- 00:05:40later because the sooner that you can
- 00:05:43get everything that you've wanted the
- 00:05:45sooner you will realize that none of
- 00:05:47that actually matters to you
- 00:05:50there's a quote that I heard from nval
- 00:05:52rava Kant and it goes we have two lives
- 00:05:55the second life begins when we realize
- 00:05:57that we only have one even though I made
- 00:06:00multiple millions in my 20s I checked
- 00:06:02off all the boxes I acquired all of the
- 00:06:04things it wasn't until I did all of that
- 00:06:06where I had this Epiphany that none of
- 00:06:09that stuff actually mattered to me and
- 00:06:12it allowed me to live a more meaningful
- 00:06:14life or start living a more meaningful
- 00:06:16life I am so grateful that I learned
- 00:06:19that in my 20s and I'm so grateful that
- 00:06:21I built up all those capitals that I
- 00:06:23mentioned because it got me to a place
- 00:06:25where I became very successful on paper
- 00:06:28and it got me to a place place where I
- 00:06:30realized what truly mattered to me it
- 00:06:32wasn't the house it wasn't the Chanel
- 00:06:34bags it wasn't the Porsche it wasn't the
- 00:06:37multiple millions of dollars and to get
- 00:06:39to that realization requires a lot of
- 00:06:41privilege and the sooner that you can
- 00:06:43become a person of privilege the sooner
- 00:06:46that you can create peace in your life
- 00:06:48and you can actually live the life that
- 00:06:50you want thanks to me hustling and
- 00:06:52grinding and accumulating all of that in
- 00:06:55my 20s now I feel so grateful because
- 00:06:58I'm entering my 30s
- 00:07:00and I can make YouTube videos as a hobby
- 00:07:03I don't have to make videos in order to
- 00:07:05make money technically I do it because I
- 00:07:07love it I can spend more time with my
- 00:07:11family and my friends while I'm still
- 00:07:13young and while they're still young and
- 00:07:15that requires a lot of privilege and so
- 00:07:18if you want to be a privileged person
- 00:07:20sooner then you may want to just work
- 00:07:23hard to get what you want and learn that
- 00:07:25life lesson sooner for yourself and this
- 00:07:28is a very controversial op opinion I
- 00:07:30already know there's going to be people
- 00:07:31saying no you should be peaceful right
- 00:07:34now and you should be mindful right now
- 00:07:36and you should live your life
- 00:07:37meaningfully right now and I hope that
- 00:07:40you can do that but I believe for most
- 00:07:42people they won't learn this lesson
- 00:07:43until they actually get everything that
- 00:07:45they want until they get the promotion
- 00:07:47and they realize that career is not for
- 00:07:48them until they get that dream guy or
- 00:07:50dream girl and they realize that this is
- 00:07:52not the relationship that they want to
- 00:07:53be in until they buy that big ass house
- 00:07:56and they realize how empty they are
- 00:07:58until they have all the money in the
- 00:08:00bank and they realize that what they
- 00:08:02actually want is to spend more time with
- 00:08:03their mom and dad the sooner that you
- 00:08:06can know this the better next everything
- 00:08:09is a projection this video is a
- 00:08:12projection I am projecting onto you I am
- 00:08:14projecting my beliefs I'm projecting
- 00:08:17what I feel is important I'm projecting
- 00:08:18my life experience onto you but what I
- 00:08:22believe is true for me does not have to
- 00:08:23be true for you and I wish that I knew
- 00:08:26this lesson sooner in my 20s than I
- 00:08:30did I had to become someone who post my
- 00:08:34life on the internet to learn this the
- 00:08:36hard way because I am someone who gets
- 00:08:38multiple projections thrown at her every
- 00:08:41single day and before I used to take
- 00:08:43things very personally I used to
- 00:08:45question myself a lot because of other
- 00:08:48people's opinions I used to question if
- 00:08:50I was a good person I used to question
- 00:08:51my skills I used to question my
- 00:08:53experience I used to question who I was
- 00:08:56because I couldn't discern other
- 00:08:58people's Fe feedback I couldn't discern
- 00:09:01and I couldn't understand that what
- 00:09:03other people were throwing at me was
- 00:09:05their life experience was their
- 00:09:07knowledge was their point of view was
- 00:09:09their trauma was their experience but it
- 00:09:11didn't have to be mine if someone
- 00:09:12doesn't like you it doesn't have to mean
- 00:09:14anything about you if someone has a
- 00:09:15limitation it doesn't have to be your
- 00:09:17limitation if someone has criticism you
- 00:09:21can choose to take it on if you feel
- 00:09:23like it's actually going to help you or
- 00:09:25you can just let it go lovingly you
- 00:09:27don't have to take everything on as
- 00:09:29truth the sooner that you can understand
- 00:09:31what projections are and where they come
- 00:09:33from the more mental peace that you will
- 00:09:36create for yourself stop idolizing when
- 00:09:38I was in my 20s I had a lot of fan girl
- 00:09:41energy if you were older than me I would
- 00:09:44fan girl if you were more successful
- 00:09:47than me I would fan girl if I was given
- 00:09:50a once- in a-lifetime opportunity I
- 00:09:52would fan girl I would even fan girl
- 00:09:54over material
- 00:09:55possessions and I learned that you can
- 00:09:58be excited for something and you can
- 00:10:01have respect for something without
- 00:10:03lowering your status without devaluing
- 00:10:06yourself and without giving away your
- 00:10:08power and when I was in my 20s which was
- 00:10:11not too long ago I used to give my power
- 00:10:14away to a lot of people and I used to
- 00:10:17put a lot of things on a pedestal I used
- 00:10:19to put people on a pedestal
- 00:10:21opportunities on a pedestal material
- 00:10:23items on a pedestal I would slave for
- 00:10:26them I would lower my value for for them
- 00:10:29I would do things that I'm not proud of
- 00:10:31for them and I learned that the moment
- 00:10:34that you just stop idolizing things is
- 00:10:37also the moment that you create a lot
- 00:10:38more Peace and Freedom for yourself you
- 00:10:41can doubt your work but you shouldn't
- 00:10:42doubt yourself I think it's completely
- 00:10:45normal to question the quality of your
- 00:10:47work whether that's you submitting an
- 00:10:48assignment whether that's you delivering
- 00:10:50a project to your boss or your client or
- 00:10:54the business that you're trying to build
- 00:10:56I think Without You criticizing your
- 00:10:58work you wouldn't have room for
- 00:11:01improvement but even if you are
- 00:11:04questioning your work you shouldn't
- 00:11:07question yourself
- 00:11:08ever you shouldn't question the value
- 00:11:11that you bring to the table you
- 00:11:12shouldn't question the value of who you
- 00:11:14are as a human being outside of your
- 00:11:16business outside of your work you
- 00:11:18shouldn't question the potential that
- 00:11:20you have in this life a mistake I often
- 00:11:23made was I made my work mean something
- 00:11:25about me as a human being and this often
- 00:11:28led me to a dangerous path of
- 00:11:31self-sabotage it would lead me to
- 00:11:33depressive moments unnecessary
- 00:11:36anxiety and I think it's important for
- 00:11:39you to be able to separate your
- 00:11:41selfworth from the work that you're
- 00:11:43producing especially if you're an
- 00:11:44entrepreneur or especially if you're an
- 00:11:46online personality and you're trying to
- 00:11:48be an influencer and you're doing all
- 00:11:49those things that are so tied to you
- 00:11:51personally you need to find a way to
- 00:11:53really separate that because you are
- 00:11:56robbing yourself of so much peace and
- 00:11:58happiness
- 00:12:00if you tie your selfworth to your work
- 00:12:02next I want you to do things while
- 00:12:05you're still excited about them I think
- 00:12:08that there is a beautiful naite in your
- 00:12:1120s because you are experiencing life as
- 00:12:14an adult for the first time it's your
- 00:12:16first decade of being an adult and an
- 00:12:19analogy that I learned from a friend of
- 00:12:21mine is if you sit on something for too
- 00:12:23long it's like leaving fresh food out
- 00:12:26for too long and it becomes stale and
- 00:12:29when it becomes stale you no longer want
- 00:12:31it and so you toss it
- 00:12:33away and the reason why we often let
- 00:12:36things sit for too long whether it's our
- 00:12:38desires whether it's ideas that we have
- 00:12:42is because we tend to overthink we doubt
- 00:12:45we think of all the things that could
- 00:12:47possibly go wrong or all the reasons why
- 00:12:49we shouldn't do something and because of
- 00:12:52that a lot of lifechanging ideas a lot
- 00:12:54of lifechanging decisions go to waste
- 00:12:57because we've ruminated for way too long
- 00:13:00and the timing has passed and so what I
- 00:13:04would hope for you and what I would hope
- 00:13:06for myself even as I enter my 30s is
- 00:13:09when you are most excited about
- 00:13:10something whether it's an idea that you
- 00:13:12have whether it's a decision that you're
- 00:13:13thinking of making just do it
- 00:13:16just do it because it could lead to so
- 00:13:18much adventure and at worst it could
- 00:13:20lead to a lot of lessons that you're
- 00:13:22going to learn in your life a lot of
- 00:13:23wisdom and so do things while you're
- 00:13:26still excited about them don't overthink
- 00:13:28it for too long because the timing will
- 00:13:30pass and you'll no longer be excited and
- 00:13:32it won't be that same experience as if
- 00:13:34you did it while you were still excited
- 00:13:36about it take risks in your 20s
- 00:13:40especially in your 20s you have so much
- 00:13:42more time to recover from your mistakes
- 00:13:44you have so much time to make more money
- 00:13:47you have like decades and Decades of
- 00:13:50time the biggest risk that I ever took
- 00:13:52in my 20s was leaving my well-paying
- 00:13:55corporate job at 23 or 24 I became a
- 00:13:58coffee Rea making minimum wage so that I
- 00:14:01had more time to start my YouTube
- 00:14:04channel and because of that one decision
- 00:14:07I was able to make a lot of money for
- 00:14:09myself in my 20s which was amazing and I
- 00:14:12was able to live my dream life on paper
- 00:14:15it could have absolutely gone to I
- 00:14:17could have started the YouTube channel
- 00:14:18it could have flopped it could have
- 00:14:19taken me a lot of time to make back the
- 00:14:21money but I could have always found
- 00:14:23another job I could have always rebuilt
- 00:14:25my skills and so I'm so glad I made that
- 00:14:27decision in my 20s and the second
- 00:14:29biggest risk that I ever took in my life
- 00:14:30was recently but right before I turned
- 00:14:3329 I burned down my business and so just
- 00:14:36take advantage of the risk tolerance
- 00:14:38that you have in your 20s and even in
- 00:14:40your 30s and stop feeling like you can't
- 00:14:43afford to make the wrong choice because
- 00:14:45you can afford to make the wrong choice
- 00:14:47so do the damn thing and around
- 00:14:50with life and see what happens cuz it
- 00:14:53could lead to really amazing things and
- 00:14:55the worst thing that can happen is you
- 00:14:57make a mistake but luckily you are
- 00:14:59someone that doesn't have a family yet
- 00:15:01you're someone that doesn't have a lot
- 00:15:02on the line you can still be selfish you
- 00:15:04have a lot of time and you can easily
- 00:15:06rebuild go deep instead of wide and
- 00:15:09we're talking about skill sets here so
- 00:15:12if you are feeling lost you don't know
- 00:15:14who you are yet you're trying to figure
- 00:15:16out what works and what doesn't work for
- 00:15:18you then it's completely normal to go
- 00:15:20wide to dabble to explore different
- 00:15:23subjects to see what works and what
- 00:15:24doesn't work but once you've identified
- 00:15:26something that you like and that good at
- 00:15:29I want you to go deep on that thing and
- 00:15:32the reason why is because yes with some
- 00:15:34time some training and some Investments
- 00:15:37you can absolutely turn a b player into
- 00:15:39an a player but if you are already an a
- 00:15:43player in a specific topic subject or
- 00:15:44skill and with some time some money some
- 00:15:47investment we can bring a players to
- 00:15:50being A++ plus players and it's the A++
- 00:15:53plus players that become world class at
- 00:15:56what they do and they really stand out
- 00:15:59in life they really stand out in society
- 00:16:02and the best part of that is life
- 00:16:04becomes so much easier when you just
- 00:16:06double down on what feels easy and what
- 00:16:08you're passionate about and even if you
- 00:16:11don't think that thing that you're good
- 00:16:12at or the thing that you're interested
- 00:16:14in is going to make you money even if
- 00:16:16you believe that it's not going to make
- 00:16:17you a dime if you're good at it and you
- 00:16:19really develop that skill the money will
- 00:16:21absolutely come because that is the one
- 00:16:24competitive advantage that you're going
- 00:16:25to have among anyone else who's trying
- 00:16:28to do the same thing thing in my case I
- 00:16:30knew from a young age in high school
- 00:16:33that I loved making videos I made videos
- 00:16:35even when I was in high school with my
- 00:16:37friends I would spend hours and stay up
- 00:16:40late just making these Dance videos and
- 00:16:42I learned that this was something that I
- 00:16:44really loved doing that I was passionate
- 00:16:46about and at the time no one thought
- 00:16:48that making videos like that would make
- 00:16:50you money but because I'm good at it
- 00:16:52because I don't give up on it because I
- 00:16:54actually enjoy it I've been able to make
- 00:16:56multiple millions of dollars from it but
- 00:16:59if you don't even like YouTube or if you
- 00:17:01don't even like making videos and you're
- 00:17:02forcing yourself to do it because you
- 00:17:04think it's going to make you money like
- 00:17:05it made me money it's never going to
- 00:17:07work and so you want to go deep on the
- 00:17:10things that you love you want to go deep
- 00:17:11on the things that you're good at
- 00:17:13because that is your competitive
- 00:17:14advantage that other people will not
- 00:17:16have and the money will come when you
- 00:17:18chase those things if you are someone
- 00:17:20who is feeling lost I want you to
- 00:17:22embrace being lost I created so much
- 00:17:25unnecessary fear and anxiety for myself
- 00:17:28when I was feeling lost in my career at
- 00:17:3023 and also when I was feeling lost
- 00:17:32about my business at 28 but I learned
- 00:17:36that being lost is such a beautiful
- 00:17:38thing because it's an uncomfortable
- 00:17:40stage in your life where your old self
- 00:17:43is gone and you haven't met your new
- 00:17:45self yet I think that's incredibly
- 00:17:48exciting and I wish that I knew that
- 00:17:50sooner so that I could reframe that for
- 00:17:53myself and rather than seeing being lost
- 00:17:56as being a shameful and negative thing
- 00:17:58that but I just fully embraced it as a
- 00:18:01process of Life as a process of meeting
- 00:18:04my new self and realized that it's not a
- 00:18:08crisis it's an Awakening it's an
- 00:18:10exploratory phase and I think the moment
- 00:18:13that you can reframe that in your life
- 00:18:14the more peace you will give yourself
- 00:18:16and the more grace you will give
- 00:18:18yourself as well one thing that I wish I
- 00:18:20did sooner in my 20s is understanding
- 00:18:23the importance of politics I was raised
- 00:18:26Without Really knowing anything about
- 00:18:28politics my parents never talked about
- 00:18:30it I never really voted I never thought
- 00:18:32it was that important I didn't think it
- 00:18:34mattered and it wasn't until recently
- 00:18:36where I realized how important
- 00:18:38understanding your rights are and
- 00:18:41understanding politics are in general
- 00:18:44and oftentimes you won't realize how
- 00:18:46important politics plays in your life
- 00:18:48until it actually affects you until the
- 00:18:51service that you relied on gets taken
- 00:18:52away until you work your ass off to make
- 00:18:55all that money and then the government
- 00:18:57takes it and you don't agree with where
- 00:18:59your money is going or the amount that
- 00:19:01was taken until your rights get violated
- 00:19:04and I wish I didn't have to turn 30 for
- 00:19:07it to actually affect me now to realize
- 00:19:10how important politics will play in my
- 00:19:12life or in anyone's life and so if
- 00:19:14you're in your 20s just start reading up
- 00:19:16on it don't let it affect your mental
- 00:19:18health too much but have a b basic
- 00:19:20understanding because knowing your
- 00:19:21rights is so important and when you
- 00:19:23actually understand politics and how
- 00:19:24things are you'll also make better
- 00:19:26decisions on where you might want to
- 00:19:28live how you might want to set up your
- 00:19:30business how you might want to set
- 00:19:31yourself up financially it all links
- 00:19:33together and so I wish I learned more
- 00:19:35about politics a lot sooner I wish it
- 00:19:37was talked more about amongst my family
- 00:19:39sooner and I wish that it it was just
- 00:19:41something that I became more interested
- 00:19:43in when I was younger your values will
- 00:19:46change over time in the course of your
- 00:19:4820s and that is completely normal what
- 00:19:51you experience in your early 20s and
- 00:19:53what you want in your early 20s may
- 00:19:55change as you enter your late 20s and it
- 00:19:58can be a very confusing time period when
- 00:20:01you experience a values change
- 00:20:03especially if your external environment
- 00:20:06does not match the new values that
- 00:20:08you're coming into and I wish I knew
- 00:20:11this sooner so that I would feel less
- 00:20:12shame and less
- 00:20:14confusion and that I would make the
- 00:20:16right decisions a lot faster than I did
- 00:20:19and I would have less anxiety and
- 00:20:21emotion wrapped around it and so for
- 00:20:24example when I was younger in my early
- 00:20:2620s I really valued a lot of the things
- 00:20:29that I mentioned early in this video
- 00:20:30which was I value getting Chanel bags I
- 00:20:32Valu getting Birkin bags driving a nice
- 00:20:35car having a nice house making multiple
- 00:20:37millions of dollars and then once I
- 00:20:39achieved all those things my values
- 00:20:41started to shift and I got very confused
- 00:20:45and I got very disconnected and I got
- 00:20:48very unhappy and very depressed and very
- 00:20:50anxious and it wasn't until I realized
- 00:20:53the reason why I was feeling all those
- 00:20:54things was because I was still doing the
- 00:20:56things that I no longer enjoy
- 00:20:59because I wanted to please my younger
- 00:21:01self was when I had that aha moment and
- 00:21:05my aha moment was burning down my
- 00:21:06multiple seven figure business now you
- 00:21:09may not have such a radical change like
- 00:21:11I did but you need to be brave enough to
- 00:21:15change your external environment to
- 00:21:17match the internal because the longer
- 00:21:19that you let that misalignment and you
- 00:21:21let that Gap happen the more confusion
- 00:21:23and shame and the more disconnected you
- 00:21:26will feel and you will eventually burn
- 00:21:29out one way or the other when you when
- 00:21:31there is that disconnection between your
- 00:21:32values and your day-to-day actions and
- 00:21:34so I wish someone told me about that
- 00:21:36sooner so that I could make the proper
- 00:21:38decision sooner and I didn't sit in it
- 00:21:40for too long don't ditch your friends
- 00:21:43just because you're on your own personal
- 00:21:45development journey I think it's normal
- 00:21:47for some people in their 20s to pick up
- 00:21:50those personal development books to
- 00:21:51build up their intellectual Capital but
- 00:21:54as a result you may start thinking that
- 00:21:57your friends aren't good enough or the
- 00:21:59people around you aren't good enough and
- 00:22:02you will start developing an ego and you
- 00:22:04will start thinking that you are above
- 00:22:07others but I learned that if you really
- 00:22:10want to grow instead of putting other
- 00:22:12people down and thinking less of them
- 00:22:14because they're not on the same Journey
- 00:22:16that you are or they're not running at
- 00:22:17the same Pace that you are you should
- 00:22:20Instead try your best to lift others up
- 00:22:22with you so that they can be at the
- 00:22:25level that they can be at and so in
- 00:22:28instead of ditching your friends because
- 00:22:30they're not making as much money as you
- 00:22:32teach them how to make money instead of
- 00:22:35ditching your friend because they're not
- 00:22:37as fit as you share resources with them
- 00:22:40on how to get fit instead of ditching
- 00:22:43your friend because they are not getting
- 00:22:44the same opportunities as you and
- 00:22:46they're not moving up in their career
- 00:22:48open some doors for them now of course
- 00:22:51it's up to the other person to receive
- 00:22:53the invitation and a lot of people they
- 00:22:55don't want to grow they don't want to be
- 00:22:57on the same time line as you and you
- 00:22:59have to respect that you have to respect
- 00:23:01that people will be on their own
- 00:23:02timelines and not force it but you also
- 00:23:05have to make it not mean anything about
- 00:23:07you or anything about them and I think
- 00:23:10that the best type of people or the ones
- 00:23:13that just accept people for who they are
- 00:23:16they hold them to a certain potential
- 00:23:18that they know that they can be but they
- 00:23:19don't rush the other person they they
- 00:23:21let them find their own way and I think
- 00:23:23it was really sad when I was in my early
- 00:23:2620s or mid 20s when I started going into
- 00:23:28this personal development Journey that I
- 00:23:30just wasn't a good friend to other
- 00:23:32people I didn't invest in my friendships
- 00:23:34as much as I could have because I
- 00:23:36developed an ego and I thought that
- 00:23:37building a business was more important
- 00:23:39than anything else and that I was more
- 00:23:40important than anything else but now
- 00:23:43realizing that friendships are really
- 00:23:45important and you should be someone that
- 00:23:47lifts other people up instead of putting
- 00:23:49them down or developing that type of ego
- 00:23:52because your ego will bite you in the
- 00:23:53ass in the future and so yeah don't
- 00:23:55ditch your friends just because you are
- 00:23:57on your own personal development Journey
- 00:23:59let everyone fall into it on their own
- 00:24:01timeline get to know your family ask
- 00:24:04questions collect the stories my grandma
- 00:24:07passed away a couple months ago it was
- 00:24:09just a few weeks after I visited her in
- 00:24:11Hong Kong and I genuinely thought that I
- 00:24:15would visit her again and again but she
- 00:24:17passed away suddenly a few months after
- 00:24:19I left or not even a few weeks after I
- 00:24:21left and my biggest regret was not
- 00:24:24asking her about her story how did she
- 00:24:27grow up how did did she meet my grandpa
- 00:24:30what did she value in her life what are
- 00:24:32her hopes and dreams for me uh what are
- 00:24:34the lessons that she's learned in her
- 00:24:36course of her life there was just so
- 00:24:38much wisdom that I could have taken and
- 00:24:41so much more understanding of my own
- 00:24:42family that I could have gotten and she
- 00:24:45passed away right before I turned 30 she
- 00:24:47passed away in January and I really do
- 00:24:50wish that I asked her more questions and
- 00:24:52I think that when while you still can
- 00:24:56you should ask your parents questions
- 00:24:58you should ask your grandparents
- 00:24:59questions just anyone that you care
- 00:25:01about time is fleeting and you never
- 00:25:04know
- 00:25:05when life will end and that's a really
- 00:25:08sad thing to say but that's the matter
- 00:25:10of life right like tomorrow is not
- 00:25:13guaranteed and I really do wish that I
- 00:25:15spent my 20s asking more questions
- 00:25:19specifically to my own family and to the
- 00:25:21people that I loved and so if you're
- 00:25:22watching this video I encourage you to
- 00:25:26ask the people that you care about more
- 00:25:29questions about their life and how
- 00:25:30they've come to be and your origin and
- 00:25:33understanding that because I think
- 00:25:34through that process you're going to
- 00:25:35learn a lot about yourself too
- 00:25:37especially if you're asking your family
- 00:25:38members and if you don't have family ask
- 00:25:41the people that you care about a
- 00:25:42professor that you're with your boss
- 00:25:45anyone that you love and so anyways I
- 00:25:48hope you like this video these are just
- 00:25:50the different lessons that I've learned
- 00:25:52throughout my 20s that I would share to
- 00:25:55someone who is in their 20s whether it's
- 00:25:57your early 20s mid 20s or late 20s uh
- 00:26:00I'm so excited to be 30 and to enter
- 00:26:03this new decade and um I also want to
- 00:26:06thank all of you who commented your
- 00:26:08wisdom in my birthday post I actually
- 00:26:10asked a lot of people that were older
- 00:26:12than me to give me their wisdom and I
- 00:26:15learned a lot and that's what inspired
- 00:26:16this video so thank you so much for
- 00:26:19watching I do something Fearless today
- 00:26:20and I'll see you in my next video bye
- 00:26:22guys and take care
- personal growth
- wealth building
