皆さんこんにちは!
00:00:01
This is Tina and
welcome back to my channel!!
00:00:03
In this video, I'm going
to be talking about:
00:00:06
If that sounds like you're thing,
then please go ahead and

00:00:11
Do it!
00:00:12
We all have them whether we like it
or not and there is no miracle cure
00:00:16
to "get rid" of your pores,
00:00:18
because you physically cannot get rid
of your pores or shrink the size of them.
00:00:23
But there are definitely ways
to make them less noticeable,
00:00:25
so I thought I would share my tips
and product recommendations
00:00:29
that I have been using for my pore health.
00:00:32
"Pore health"...is that a thing??
*cute giggle*
00:00:34
First let's talk about "Instant Results".
00:00:36
One method that I like to do and
do probably the most frequently is:
00:00:42
By now, I hope that all of us know
that we should be double cleansing
00:00:45
at the end of every day,
especially if we wear makeup.
00:00:48
This helps to keep our skin
clear and prevent breakouts,
00:00:52
but it can also help to unclog
the dirt and oil buildup in our pores.
00:00:56
When I say deep cleansing,
00:00:58
it is a little bit different to
our regular double cleansing.
00:01:01
I don't know if it's an "official term".
00:01:04
I kind of just came up with it.
00:01:05
but it's when we want to
focus and take our time
00:01:09
to really unclog and melt down
the oil buildup in those pores.
00:01:13
I tend to do this when my
skin starts to feel rough,
00:01:17
especially in the nose area.
00:01:19
I can just tell, like one morning
I'll wake up and be like,
00:01:22
"Uh, my nose is rough."
00:01:23
So that's when I decide
to do a deep cleanse.
00:01:26
You can do this by simply using a generous
amount of your regular Oil Cleanser
00:01:32
and massaging it for a
longer amount than usual,
00:01:35
especially in the areas of concern.
00:01:36
This would usually be the
T-zone for most people.
00:01:40
For me, it would definitely be my nose
number one and then my chin.
00:01:44
My forehead, I don't actually
have that much oil build up,
00:01:47
so it tends to be literally like
around my nose and chin.
00:01:52
As you are massaging the
Oil Cleanser on your skin,
00:01:54
you will gradually start to feel
that roughness go away.
00:01:57
That means that the Oil Cleanser
has successfully broken down
00:02:01
that oil in your pores.
00:02:02
For me, I usually do it somewhere
between 3 to 5 minutes.
00:02:06
It seems like a long time,
but really do just focus in on
00:02:09
getting that smooth skin.
00:02:11
And once you feel like
you've done enough,
00:02:13
you can just wash it off like you
normally would your Oil Cleanser.
00:02:16
As I said, you can use any
Oil Cleanser you've got at home,
00:02:19
but the two that I recommend and have
been using the most lately is the:
00:02:28
both of these are actually marketed
to specifically help with
00:02:31
with the reduction of blackheads and sebum.
00:02:33
How true is that?
00:02:35
Well, it is true,
00:02:36
because all oil cleanses are going to help.
00:02:38
But I do like to believe that these
are helping a little bit extra.
00:02:44
The numbuzin Easy Peasy Cleansing Oil is
more of a lightweight texture,
00:02:48
so it's great for people who don't like
that heavy or sticky feeling that
00:02:51
that some Oil Cleansers may have.
00:02:52
It is made from Corn and Macadamia Oil
and is said to help remove 94.39% of waste.
00:03:00
Whatever that means.
00:03:01
I do recommend it for
Combo and Oily skin types.
00:03:04
It is Alcohol-free, but does
have added fragrance.
00:03:07
Compared to the ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Oil,
00:03:09
this one does have a
slightly thicker texture,
00:03:11
especially compared to the numbuzin.
00:03:13
It is made up of 14 different
plant-derived oil ingredients
00:03:17
and is said to remove 99.73% of finer dust.
00:03:21
I would recommend it more for
people who have Drier skin types,
00:03:24
since it does seem to be a
little bit more moisturizing.
00:03:27
Again, it is Alcohol-free,
but does contain Essential Oils.
00:03:30
If fragrance is a concern,
00:03:32
my favorite Oil Cleanser
still to this day is the:
00:03:37
It is Alcohol, Fragrance,
all that free and is made of
00:03:43
Olive, Jojoba, and Sunflower Seed Oil.
00:03:45
I just know that this one is a
little bit harder to access online
00:03:48
and not many retailers sell it.
00:03:50
So I don't recommend it
as often as i would love to.
00:03:54
But that is also another option,
00:03:55
if you're able to get your
hands on the MUJI one.
00:03:57
Once you are done with your Oil Cleanser,
please do make sure to follow up
00:04:01
with a second step or
Water-based Cleanser.
00:04:03
because we don't want to leave any
of that oil residue left on our skin.
00:04:07
Something you can do along with your
deep cleanse and even directly after is:
00:04:12
Personally, I am not a huge fan of
Clay Masks, just because I do have
00:04:16
Drier, Dehydrated skin,
00:04:17
but I know a lot of Oily-skinned
people love doing clay masks.
00:04:21
And I still like to incorporate them
into my routine every now and then.
00:04:24
Most of the time, their intention
is to help draw out impurities
00:04:29
and help clear out your pores.
00:04:31
Which it does do that to an extent.
00:04:33
Clay does attract that
excess sebum and dirt.
00:04:36
And then the drying out
process does help to
00:04:38
tighten your pores and make
them appear smaller.
00:04:41
If your skin can handle it,
00:04:42
of coure, go ahead and
apply it to your whole face.
00:04:45
If you do have Dry skin like me,
you can always just apply in
00:04:48
the areas of concern, which
usually would be the T-zone.
00:04:51
Another tip is to wash it off,
before it's completely dry
00:04:55
to help retain your skin's moisture.
00:04:57
I am not one for a
full-on, thick clay mask,
00:05:01
but these are the two that
I've been enjoying lately
00:05:03
since they do have other
benefits to them too.
00:05:06
First the:
00:05:09
First of all, I love the
creamy formula of this one.
00:05:12
The fact that it is in a
tube instead of a jar,
00:05:14
like every single other
clay mask usually is,
00:05:18
signifies that it is a thinner formula.
00:05:20
As you may have guessed as well,
00:05:21
one of the reasons why
I enjoy this one so much
00:05:23
is the Mugwort Extract included in it.
00:05:26
I love this ingredient,
since it is great for sensitive skin
00:05:29
and helps to calm and soothe the skin
when you are experiencing irritation.
00:05:34
So this one will be great
for people who have
00:05:35
Normal, Combo, or even Oily skin,
00:05:38
but do have a little bit of
concern of having sensitivity
00:05:41
and need a bit of soothing care.
00:05:43
It also washes off way easier compared
to those thicker clay masks
00:05:47
and it does have a fragrance...
00:05:49
it is the natural fragrance of Mugwort.
00:05:51
I know some people don't like it,
00:05:53
but to me it's a very nice
like herbal, earthy scent
00:05:57
The other clay mask that I've
been trying lately is the:
00:06:02
This one is a brand new baby.
00:06:04
I think it was only released
like literally a few days ago.
00:06:06
But you guys know,
I love the brand, "I'M FROM".
00:06:09
So I had to dig in as soon as I
received it from Wishtrend.
00:06:12
Also, isn't the packaging so cute!
00:06:15
It is pink!
00:06:16
Like who wouldn't love it??
00:06:18
The actual formula is a
gorgeous pink color as well,
00:06:22
due to the Red Beet ingredient.
00:06:25
Once again, it does do
everything a clay mask would,
00:06:28
but this one is said to
be more moisturizing,
00:06:30
which I love for my Dry skin.
00:06:32
Beetroots are known to be
rich in Vitamins B, Carotene,
00:06:35
and is considered to be
a Superfood that has
00:06:38
great antioxidant and soothing benefits.
00:06:41
My skin does feel softer,
00:06:43
but no tight feeling after
I wash off this mask.
00:06:45
So I would recommend it for
those who do have Drier skin,
00:06:48
but pore concerns like me.
00:06:50
Next we're moving on to:
"Semi-Instant Results"
00:06:53
So these are products,
in my personal opinion,
00:06:56
that give "Semi-Instant Results".
00:06:58
By that I mean, by using them
a few times a week,
00:07:02
like 2 to 3 times a week, you will
see results in a week or 2.
00:07:06
And they're actually both
00:07:08
The first one is the:
00:07:11
ROVECTIN's sheet mask game is strong.
00:07:15
They just recently came out
with another sheet mask,
00:07:17
the Lotus Water Calming Sheet Mask.
00:07:19
And I absolutely love that one!
00:07:21
So I had to get my hands on
this one right away as well.
00:07:24
Although my skin type isn't
the No. 1 target skin type
00:07:27
for the new sheet mask,
00:07:29
I still saw its benefits on my skin too.
00:07:31
You guys are always asking me for
00:07:33
Oily and Combo skin type
recommendations,
00:07:36
which is not my skin type,
00:07:37
but the perfect skin type
for this sheet mask.
00:07:41
ROVECTIN uses their
patented Tanin complex,
00:07:43
which is made of 8 plant-derived
ingredients and is what
00:07:47
helps to control excess sebum
and tighten those pores.
00:07:50
But it also has a very high
concentration of Birch Tree Extract,
00:07:54
which makes it super hydrating,
00:07:56
hence why it works even
for my dehydrated skin.
00:07:59
Use it like you would any other
sheet mask on clean skin,
00:08:02
prepped with Toner or Essence,
00:08:03
and leave it for about
10 to 20 minutes.
00:08:06
At first I was a little bit worried
that it was going to dry out my skin,
00:08:09
but the sheet is soaked with the
Essence and it is quite a thin sheet.
00:08:14
So it adheres really well
to the skin, as well.
00:08:16
It honestly is kind of a weird
experience and something that
00:08:19
I haven't experienced with
other sheet masks before.
00:08:22
But when I go to take it off,
00:08:24
I can tell the areas where
I have excess sebum.
00:08:27
Because those areas of the
sheet mask are actually drier
00:08:30
than the other areas
where I am more dry.
00:08:33
It's kind of strange,
it's like this sheet mask knows
00:08:36
where my areas of concern
are and is more oily.
00:08:39
So it like concentrates
the Essence in those areas,
00:08:42
if that makes any sense whatsoever.
00:08:44
If you want to experience it,
definitely try it out.
00:08:47
After a few uses,
I definitely felt like
00:08:49
the pores, especially on
my upper cheek area,
00:08:52
seemed more smoothed out.
00:08:53
ROVECTIN did also perform a
clinical trial where they saw
00:08:57
17.75% reduction in pore size
00:09:00
just from using the sheet mask
twice a week for 2 weeks.
00:09:03
So that's only 4 uses.
00:09:05
I feel like that's pretty impressive.
00:09:07
I would recommend it for
those who have pore concerns,
00:09:09
but want something easy
rather than having to kind of
00:09:12
apply and wash off a clay mask.
00:09:15
The other sheet mask I have is the:
00:09:20
This Japanese sheet mask has
been so popular for so long
00:09:24
and the word keana (毛穴),
which means pore,
00:09:27
is literally in the name.
00:09:29
So I felt the need to mention it.
00:09:32
Japan definitely has a different
approach to pore care.
00:09:35
I think when most
people hear pore care,
00:09:37
they think to draw out the impurities,
00:09:40
reduce excess sebum,
00:09:42
get rid of the oil, and etc.
00:09:44
But this Rice Mask actually focuses
on deep hydration and refining skin,
00:09:48
which eventually leads to the
appearance of smaller pores.
00:09:52
It doesn't talk about or
contains any ingredients
00:09:56
that are oil-reducing
or pore-tightening,
00:09:58
but instead it uses its
Rice Serum to deeply
00:10:02
hydrate, nourish, smooth skin
texture, and to brighten skin tone.
00:10:06
Rice is one of my favorite
skincare ingredients
00:10:09
that is often found in Asian skincare.
00:10:11
I mean there is a reason why
we consume so much of it.
00:10:15
The Rice Serum that is soaked
into these sheet masks contain
00:10:19
Fermented Rice Extract, Rice Bran Oil,
Rice Ceramides, and Rice Bran Extract.
00:10:24
It allows for deep hydration,
00:10:26
which in turn plumps up
the skin from the inside
00:10:29
and smooths out the skin's surface.
00:10:32
It is the same as how pores
can appear more noticeable
00:10:36
when your skin is sagging
00:10:37
and as soon as you pull it up,
the pores do seem to diminish.
00:10:41
They do recommend to use this one just
for a quick 5 minutes on clean skin.
00:10:47
It comes in a pack of 10
for about ¥650 in Japan
00:10:51
and on Amazon US they do sell
it for less than $10, as well.
00:10:54
So very affordable.
00:10:56
It is less than a dollar
per sheet mask.
00:10:58
And it is also gentle
enough to use every day.
00:11:00
I would say using it every day
or every second day
00:11:03
is going to give you quicker results.
00:11:05
But my skin definitely feels
well hydrated, plumped up,
00:11:08
and my pores on my cheeks
do seem more smoothed out
00:11:11
when I use this one frequently.
00:11:13
Lastly, let's talk about
the "Long-Term Results".
00:11:17
This is the long-haul game.
00:11:19
In all honesty, you can do these
instant and semi-instant methods,
00:11:23
but nothing is permanent.
00:11:25
We are supposed to have pores
00:11:27
and it is completely normal
to be able to see them.
00:11:29
But there are a few
things that you
00:11:31
can incorporate into
your routine regularly,
00:11:33
which in the long run will help
00:11:35
the appearance and
texture of your pores.
00:11:37
Incorporating an:
00:11:39
Essences are highly concentrated
"elixers", if you will,
00:11:43
that are going to help with
hydration, brightening skin tone,
00:11:46
and also improving
overall skin health.
00:11:49
It is something more commonly
found in Asian skincare
00:11:52
and is usually of a water-like consistency,
00:11:55
allowing it to hydrate into
the deeper layers of your skin.
00:11:58
Whenever I keep an
Essence in my routine,
00:12:01
I feel like my skin is just overall
healthier, more resilient,
00:12:06
and my skin stays soft
and smooth for longer.
00:12:09
I would say probably a
month into using an Essence
00:12:12
is when you'll see
the real difference.
00:12:14
and even when you remove the
Essence from your routine
00:12:17
is when you're going to realize
how much it was doing for your skin.
00:12:20
The one that I am
currently using is the:
00:12:25
This one I have loved from a while back
00:12:28
and since I opened it this time,
00:12:29
I have been using it every
single day, morning and night.
00:12:32
And I am quickly getting
through it, because
00:12:34
I just love it that much!
00:12:36
And it really does help prep your skin
00:12:37
for the rest of your skincare, as well.
00:12:39
Other popular ones are
the Secret Key one,
00:12:42
as well as the MISSHA one,
and of course the OG SK-II.
00:12:46
I actually recently
got my hands on it,
00:12:49
thanks to YesStyle!
00:12:50
Look, I finally got the
SK-II Essence, PITERA Essence,
00:12:55
that started it all.
00:12:56
Ain't it gorgeous?!
00:12:57
So many of you guys have
asked me to review this one,
00:13:01
but we all know it is
so freaking expensive.
00:13:04
But since so many of
you guys asked for it,
00:13:06
I finally got my hands on it
and I will be properly
00:13:09
trying it out and reviewing this one.
00:13:11
Don't worry, it is coming...
00:13:12
Something else that can
help in the long-run is:
00:13:16
Chemical Exfoliants compared
to Physical Exfoliants
00:13:19
are going to take longer to work,
but they do definitely help with
00:13:22
pores and skin texture, as well.
00:13:24
Essentially, they unbind the
glue that is holding on to
00:13:27
the debris and dead skin cells
that need a little bit of help
00:13:30
to shed from the skin's surface.
00:13:32
AHA's are generally recommended
for Normal to Drier skin types,
00:13:36
as it works more on the surface.
00:13:37
Whereas BHA's are recommended
for Oily and Acne Prone skin,
00:13:41
since it is a oil soluble formula.
00:13:43
Personally, I do not have any
specific product recommendations,
00:13:47
because I have not found
that Chemical Exfoliant
00:13:50
that I have fallen in love with.
00:13:52
But the Paula's Choice 2% BHA and
the COSRX BHA Power Liquid
00:13:57
are the ones that come to mind
that are cult favorites for many.
00:14:01
Chemical Exfoliants do usually take
about 3+ weeks to see results.
00:14:06
Well, I hope there was something
beneficial for you in this video.
00:14:10
Once again, pores are completely normal.
00:14:13
Actually, we won't be able to
function as human beings
00:14:16
if we didn't have pores.
00:14:17
So...
00:14:18
Thank your pores!!
00:14:19
But it is nice to know that
there are things we can do
00:14:22
to help the appearance of our pores
and elevate our skin health.
00:14:25
So if you have any product
recommendations or any methods
00:14:28
that you personally do
to help your pore situation,
00:14:32
please leave it in a comment below
so we can share our experiences.
00:14:35
If you enjoyed this video,
please make sure you check out
00:14:38

00:14:39
I have selected two here

00:14:41
