it was I am so thrilled because our

country has been given an opportunity to

start to turn the page on a lot of
  • 00:00:37
problems that we've been suffering under
  • 00:00:38
for the past four years a uh epic
  • 00:00:42
    comeback political comeback for
  • 00:00:44
president Donald Trump and uh uh a

popular vote Victory it seems for him
  • 00:00:51
nationally um we can celebrate that we
  • 00:00:53
can celebrate the fact that Republicans
  • 00:00:55
took control of the US Senate and
  • 00:00:57
actually won a ton of Senate seats they
  • 00:00:59
weren't expected to win plus they are
  • 00:01:01
going to hold on to the House
  • 00:01:03
    Representatives but here in
  • 00:01:05
California uh there is actually some
  • 00:01:08
good bright points that Republicans can
  • 00:01:11
celebrate now I think they could have
  • 00:01:12
done better but again a lot of races are
  • 00:01:16
undecided there are a lot of ballots
  • 00:01:18
left to be counted as I warned you in
  • 00:01:20
    yesterday's show nearly 10 million
  • 00:01:24
ballots are left to be counted
  • 00:01:26
throughout the state of California which
  • 00:01:28
is unacceptable that we have to wait
  • 00:01:31
weeks for the returns the final Returns

the results but there are a number of
  • 00:01:36
key wins that I want to cover and a
  • 00:01:38
number of uncalled toss-up races uh too
  • 00:01:42
close to call and so I will go through
  • 00:01:44
    our comprehensive list first and
  • 00:01:46
foremost if you will allow me just a
  • 00:01:48
moment of indulgence um let me talk
  • 00:01:50
about my own race uh and then we'll get
  • 00:01:52
to the Statewide races uh as many of you
  • 00:01:55
know I was on the ballot for a State
  • 00:01:58
Legislative seat here in San Diego
  • 00:02:00
County District 75 the 75th assembly uh
  • 00:02:03
district and the Democrats and the
  • 00:02:06
    Sacramento swamp interest they spent
  • 00:02:08
    more than
  • 00:02:10
$3.5 million to try to stop me from
  • 00:02:14
going into the legislature they did it
  • 00:02:16
because they know I can't be bullied I
  • 00:02:19
    can't be bought and I can't be
  • 00:02:20
intimidated that I'm a fighter and that
  • 00:02:23
    our reformed California movement is
  • 00:02:26
really the only thing standing up to
  • 00:02:28
oppose their terrible agenda and their
  • 00:02:31
    onep party
  • 00:02:32
rule they spent that money because they
  • 00:02:35
were trying to get their anointed
  • 00:02:37
Sacramento swamp staffer in this seat
  • 00:02:42
because they knew that he would do
  • 00:02:43
whatever they wanted him to do so the
  • 00:02:46
battle lines were pretty clearly drawn
  • 00:02:49
and this wasn't this was actually a
  • 00:02:51
republican Republican race um in the end
  • 00:02:56
    the voters were
  • 00:02:58
    absolutely um
  • 00:03:00
amazing they gave me a 60% win uh in
  • 00:03:04
this race now there are ballots still to
  • 00:03:07
be counted but that is a decisive
  • 00:03:09
Victory and I want to thank the voters
  • 00:03:11
of the 75th district for your trust your
  • 00:03:14
support you've given me a mandate to go
  • 00:03:17
inside the belly of the Beast to speak
  • 00:03:19
truth to power to shine a light on the
  • 00:03:21
    corruption the broken system in
  • 00:03:23
Sacramento and to be your voice of
  • 00:03:26
opposition we're probably not going to
  • 00:03:27
    win votes initially
  • 00:03:30
but you will hear our voice and once
  • 00:03:32
people start hearing our voice I believe
  • 00:03:34
it will impact votes and of course we
  • 00:03:37
are going to be laying out Solutions and
  • 00:03:40
we're going to be recruiting candidates
  • 00:03:42
up and down the state of
  • 00:03:43
California to try to break that super
  • 00:03:46
    majority remember reform California did
  • 00:03:48
it we were the organization that broke
  • 00:03:50
the super majority back in 2017 by
  • 00:03:53
recalling state senator Josh Newman we
  • 00:03:55
did it before we can do it again and uh
  • 00:03:58
I want to thank the voters for giving me
  • 00:04:00
that opportunity and what will this will
  • 00:04:03
do is by going inside the belly of the
  • 00:04:04
Beast you're going to be given an inside
  • 00:04:06
view every day of what really is going
  • 00:04:08
on in the state legislature but you're
  • 00:04:10
also going to see us forming a reformed
  • 00:04:14
    California caucus with other principled
  • 00:04:16
Fighters and I think that that will be a
  • 00:04:19
deciding factor in uh really changing uh
  • 00:04:22
the concept of having an opposition
  • 00:04:25
party in California um let me uh tell
  • 00:04:27
you this is our quick video that we uh
  • 00:04:29
did in my race and then I'm going to
  • 00:04:31
cover the all the close races in the
  • 00:04:32
state of California um we had political
  • 00:04:36
    establishment swampy politicians
  • 00:04:39
    Republican couple Republicans and
  • 00:04:41
Democrats come together saying we're the
  • 00:04:43
    unprecedented Coalition we hate Carl
  • 00:04:46
Deo and the voters are like yeah and
  • 00:04:50
this is the closing video we did in my
  • 00:04:52
campaign I just want to share it with
  • 00:04:54
you because it does reflect the
  • 00:04:55
wonderful hard work that the entire
  • 00:04:57
    Grassroots movement supporting me in
  • 00:04:59
    this race
  • 00:05:00
did on our behalf in an election year
  • 00:05:02
marked by Deep political divisions there
  • 00:05:05
is one message that has unified some
  • 00:05:07
    Republican and Democratic leaders don't
  • 00:05:09
vote for Carl Deo that that means that
  • 00:05:12
we don't have two parties we have a unit
  • 00:05:14
party and I'm not bulli I'm not someone
  • 00:05:17
they can intimidate they can't buy me
  • 00:05:19
I'm their worst nightmare we don't have
  • 00:05:21
    to
  • 00:05:22
tolerate one party that hurts us with
  • 00:05:25
bad policies and another party that
  • 00:05:27
hurts us by surrendering on a consist
  • 00:05:30
    basis we deserve
  • 00:05:32
    [Applause]
  • 00:05:35
    [Music]
  • 00:05:43
    [Applause]
  • 00:05:49
better don't flee that's what the
  • 00:05:51
Sacramento swamp wants you to do stand
  • 00:05:54
    and fight

  • 00:06:13
we're going to fight every day we're
  • 00:06:14
going to fight with every fighter of our
  • 00:06:16
being we're not going to give up this
  • 00:06:18
state you've never had an opposition for
  • 00:06:20
the last 20 years you better get ready
  • 00:06:22
for one you better get ready for the
  • 00:06:24
voice of opposition and I know so many
  • 00:06:26
other principled Fighters are going to
  • 00:06:27
join us in our voice of opposition and
  • 00:06:30
it's going to make a difference so this
  • 00:06:31
is a turning point I believe a great
  • 00:06:33
result thank you for all of your support
  • 00:06:35
thank you to the voters okay let's talk
  • 00:06:37
about the closest races in California
  • 00:06:39
there's a lot of good news okay there's
  • 00:06:40
a lot of good news we're not going to
  • 00:06:42
turn the state red overnight but what
  • 00:06:44
you saw last night these results pretty
  • 00:06:46
damn good uh again this is despite the
  • 00:06:49
fact that we don't really have a
  • 00:06:50
political party on the Republican side
  • 00:06:52
that's actually got its act together so
  • 00:06:54
all the results I'm about to share with
  • 00:06:56
you it's all despite the ineptitude and
  • 00:06:59
competence of the Republican party of
  • 00:07:01
California r large um it's because these
  • 00:07:04
    individual candidates really worked hard
  • 00:07:06
and some other groups really worked hard
  • 00:07:08
to support them uh first and foremost
  • 00:07:11
    president Trump's numbers president
  • 00:07:13
Donald Trump is at 40% that's up six
  • 00:07:16
points from 2020 this is a huge shift
  • 00:07:20
shows that voters are moving in
  • 00:07:22
California to the right uh and it also
  • 00:07:25
shows that California was decisive to
  • 00:07:27
    Trump's National Victory by likely
  • 00:07:30
giving him the margin he's going to need
  • 00:07:32
for the popular vote so this is
  • 00:07:35
    extraordinary uh Californians shifting
  • 00:07:38
in favor of President Trump in the US
  • 00:07:41
Senate also Steve Garvey while falling
  • 00:07:43
short got to 43% at last count very very
  • 00:07:47
good it's a very marked shift uh for uh
  • 00:07:50
that race Statewide the Statewide ballot
  • 00:07:54
measures the good the bad the ugly first
  • 00:07:56
let's start out with the good we saved
  • 00:07:58
Prop 13 uh we defeated prop five by 10
  • 00:08:02
points 55 to 45 uh that would have made
  • 00:08:05
tax increases easier in the state of
  • 00:08:07
California by gutting a key provision of
  • 00:08:09
Prop 13 um we also passed prop 36 by a
  • 00:08:14
landslide 70% yes on make crime illegal
  • 00:08:18
again initiative amazing um we also uh
  • 00:08:22
uh seem to have stopped the boondoggle
  • 00:08:25
uh sorry the um uh uh inflation spikers
  • 00:08:29
minimum wage increase at last count
  • 00:08:31
losing 52 to 48 and rank control thank
  • 00:08:35
goodness once again losing 60% to
  • 00:08:38
40% um good numbers and uh the bad news
  • 00:08:43
uh the medical tax prop 35 passed and
  • 00:08:46
the boondoggle bonds prop two and four
  • 00:08:48
both of those passed now mind you we
  • 00:08:51
kept those bonds to roughly you know 56
  • 00:08:55
57% um this is despite being outspent 30
  • 00:08:58
to1 on the local tax measures we've
  • 00:09:01
defeated at last count more than a 100
  • 00:09:04
local tax increases and we're waiting on
  • 00:09:07
um about another hundred more um which
  • 00:09:10
are too close to call uh so uh about
  • 00:09:13
half the tax increas is going down in
  • 00:09:16
flames uh let's talk about the US House
  • 00:09:18
    of Representatives US House of
  • 00:09:20
    Representatives you can thank California
  • 00:09:22
for a house majority um you also can
  • 00:09:27
thank California or curse California for
  • 00:09:30
the margin uh because right now there
  • 00:09:33
are at last count probably five seats
  • 00:09:36
that are undecided that could either add
  • 00:09:39
to the House Majority for the
  • 00:09:40
Republicans or take uh some seats away
  • 00:09:42
but the House Majority is secure because
  • 00:09:43
of the house uh Republicans in
  • 00:09:45
California Kylie won his race decidedly
  • 00:09:47
58 to 42 uh we also uh see uh Kevin
  • 00:09:53
Lincoln uh only a point behind Josh
  • 00:09:56
Harter in Central Valley that would be a
  • 00:09:58
republican pickup seat District 13 John
  • 00:10:01
DTE is leading 51.4 to 48.6 that would
  • 00:10:05
be a retention seat very key I think
  • 00:10:07
John is in a good position to keep that
  • 00:10:10
seat um we also have um going down the
  • 00:10:14
list uh David valo uh 5545 that seat uh
  • 00:10:19
is one for valo that's a retention seat
  • 00:10:22
then we go to uh Mike Garcia in uh Santa
  • 00:10:27
florita Mike Garcia is right now
  • 00:10:31
    hovering at
  • 00:10:32
51.2% very tight uh hope he can hold on
  • 00:10:36
I think he can but that would be a
  • 00:10:38
retention seat uh oh young Kim Won her
  • 00:10:41
    seat 57% that's a retention seat Ken
  • 00:10:44
Calvert right now barely winning with 1%
  • 00:10:47
of the vote 50.5 to 49.5 I think that
  • 00:10:50
will be a retention seat but too close
  • 00:10:52
to call got to keep our eye on it then
  • 00:10:54
we look at Michelle steel 52.5 to 47.5 I
  • 00:10:58
think that's a retention seat still too
  • 00:11:01
close to call we have to look at those
  • 00:11:02
    absentee
  • 00:11:03
ballots um then we take a look at Scott
  • 00:11:07
B winning just barely right now too
  • 00:11:10
close to call that would be a pickup
  • 00:11:12
seat uh Matt Gunderson only uh two
  • 00:11:15
points behind Mike Levan that would be a
  • 00:11:19
pickup seat so these are very promising
  • 00:11:22
numbers we retained our seats or they're
  • 00:11:24
too close to call uh or we are poised to
  • 00:11:28
win and pick up some seats we've lost no
  • 00:11:30
seats at this point and we hope to
  • 00:11:32
continue to see that and add some then
  • 00:11:35
in the State uh assembly um uh we're
  • 00:11:39
hopeful that my good friend Christy
  • 00:11:41
Bruce Lane may be able to make up ground
  • 00:11:43
she's right now two and a half points
  • 00:11:44
down of flipping a Democrat seat um
  • 00:11:48
you've got uh Lori Davies uh two and a
  • 00:11:51
half points up on retaining her seat in
  • 00:11:53
San Diego and Orange County District 74
  • 00:11:56
keep an eye on that still too close to
  • 00:11:58
call let's go to District 58 first 50
  • 00:12:01
    51% 50.6 right now she's leading that
  • 00:12:05
would be a pickup seat got to be careful
  • 00:12:07
of that one those provisional ballots
  • 00:12:09
and absentee ballots we don't know how
  • 00:12:11
they're going to break but that would be
  • 00:12:12
amazing if she could win that seat she
  • 00:12:13
got no support from the Republican party
  • 00:12:14
no money uh imagine what would happen if
  • 00:12:17
we actually gave her some money then we
  • 00:12:19
got District 47 Greg Wallace trailing by
  • 00:12:21
just four 410 of a point um My Hope Is
  • 00:12:24
that he uh pulls that out I think he can
  • 00:12:28
um then we've got uh in
  • 00:12:31
    District
  • 00:12:33
um 40 Patrick Gibson only 710 of a
  • 00:12:37
    percentage Point behind the incumbent
  • 00:12:40
Democrat that would be a pickup SE seat
  • 00:12:42
that would be very good um then we've
  • 00:12:45
    got District
  • 00:12:49
36 yes District 32 Jeff Gonzalez winning
  • 00:12:52
the seat so far by two percentage points
  • 00:12:55
51 to 49 too close to call that would be
  • 00:12:58
amazing because the party cut his
  • 00:12:59
funding three weeks before election day
  • 00:13:03
why this was a pickup seat why did you
  • 00:13:05
do that um it's in incredibly uh
  • 00:13:09
shortsighted um he's a great candidate
  • 00:13:12
uh and he deserved better um then we've
  • 00:13:15
    got um uh in District
  • 00:13:18
27 Joanna Garcia Rose only two and a
  • 00:13:22
half points behind maybe she can make up
  • 00:13:24
ground that would be a pickup seat and
  • 00:13:27
    then of course we've got
  • 00:13:29
uh district 7 which is my good friend
  • 00:13:34
Josh Hoover he is right now up um three
  • 00:13:40
4% uh on his seat now all of this
  • 00:13:44
hopefully we win seats there's two or
  • 00:13:47
three seats I think we can win out of
  • 00:13:50
this Bunch many more if they had run
  • 00:13:52
better campaigns on the part of the
  • 00:13:53
Republican party of California but those
  • 00:13:57
three seats in a presidential year would
  • 00:13:59
be amazing even one of those three seats
  • 00:14:02
very very solid um now let's take a look
  • 00:14:05
at State Senate right now we have an
  • 00:14:06
opportunity maybe to win one state
  • 00:14:08
senate seat as a pickup and that's
  • 00:14:10
Stephen Choy versus Josh Newman in
  • 00:14:12
Orange County keep an eye on this two
  • 00:14:14
    percentage points difference between the
  • 00:14:16
uh the two candidates there um again
  • 00:14:19
Josh Newman the deciding vote for the
  • 00:14:21
gas tax and the C tax there's a bunch of
  • 00:14:24
local races as well so what I want you
  • 00:14:26
to do is encourage you to look at your
  • 00:14:29
    local County websites and understand
  • 00:14:32
that the numbers you're looking at right
  • 00:14:33
now are not the final numbers um some
  • 00:14:37
races are way too close to call numbers
  • 00:14:39
will change why because as I warned you
  • 00:14:41
yesterday we have nearly 10 million
  • 00:14:43
ballots uncounted in the state of
  • 00:14:44
California it is unconscionable that we
  • 00:14:47
have that many uncounted ballots third
  • 00:14:49
world countries can finish counting the
  • 00:14:51
vote on the same day that they hold
  • 00:14:52
their elections but not California no no
  • 00:14:55
no no we're inept um and so recognize
  • 00:14:58
that numbers will shift a bit in the
  • 00:15:00
coming days and weeks some races won't
  • 00:15:03
be decided for three to four weeks and
  • 00:15:05
that's sad uh but in the meantime we're
  • 00:15:07
    doing something called ballot curing
  • 00:15:09
what is ballot curing ballot curing is
  • 00:15:11
that we go out and find out which
  • 00:15:13
    Republican and conservative independent
  • 00:15:15
ballots have been rejected for mismatch
  • 00:15:18
signatures and then what we do is we go
  • 00:15:20
and we contact those voters and let them
  • 00:15:22
know so they can fix their signature
  • 00:15:24
that they can fix whatever problem uh
  • 00:15:26
led the registar voters in that county
  • 00:15:28
to reject their ballot this is a very
  • 00:15:30
normal process by the way it's a healthy
  • 00:15:32
process it's good um we need your help
  • 00:15:36
because we left it all on the field we
  • 00:15:38
are completely out of funds as a
  • 00:15:40
campaign at reform California for us to
  • 00:15:42
    help other candidates and ballot
  • 00:15:44
measures cure ballots we're going to
  • 00:15:46
need your help please chip in a
  • 00:15:48
contribution right now to our emergency
  • 00:15:50
ballot curing fund go to the website
  • 00:15:52
    reform california.org click under
  • 00:15:55
contribute because the money that we're
  • 00:15:57
spending that we're raising in these
  • 00:15:58
next few days goes 100% to ballot curing
  • 00:16:01
and supporting these candidates as they
  • 00:16:03
are trying to maintain their leads or
  • 00:16:05
make up ground go to reform
  • 00:16:07
    california.org please do that
  • 00:16:09
immediately we need your help so I
  • 00:16:11
wanted to give you a quick take on the
  • 00:16:14
good news from California uh there's a
  • 00:16:17
lot to be happy about uh we can do
  • 00:16:19
better um if we have better campaigns in
  • 00:16:22
2026 we do even better but this is a a
  • 00:16:24
major shift the data shows a shift
  • 00:16:26
towards Republicans in California in a
  • 00:16:28
presid presidential year that is that's
  • 00:16:30
an accomplishment it really is but more
  • 00:16:33
needs to be done also um keep looking at
  • 00:16:36
these websites your local site and the
  • 00:16:39
state site uh Secretary of State site
  • 00:16:41
for ongoing updates in these key races
  • 00:16:44
these are the key races throughout the
  • 00:16:46
state that we are tracking that are too
  • 00:16:48
close to call that will have a profound
  • 00:16:50
impact on a number of um uh boards and
  • 00:16:54
    commissions and legislative seats keep
  • 00:16:57
watching anything can happen in the
  • 00:16:59
