I'm Getting a Bit Worried About AI
The Bulge Clinic: Inside NYC’s most famous girth enhancement practice with Injector Chris | Jon Dean
Why the AI Revolution Has a Fatal Flaw
best KOREAN GLASS SKIN routine you've EVER SEEN in your ENTIRE LIFE ( 5 year tested & sponsor-free )
- 00:00:00Did I actually read that many studies on
- 00:00:01how to look better? Honestly, yeah. And
- 00:00:03I did it for you to glow up this summer.
- 00:00:06You can't argue with science. In fact,
- 00:00:08my theory is some of the things I'm
- 00:00:09mentioning is the reason why everyone
- 00:00:11looks way better these days compared to
- 00:00:1330, 40 years ago. If you're wondering
- 00:00:15how are you doing your research, I
- 00:00:17locked in. You guys already know I store
- 00:00:19all my to-dos and projects on my exile's
- 00:00:21daily planner. And I needed a second
- 00:00:23brain for this one because I spent so
- 00:00:25much time going through scientific
- 00:00:27journals, research sites, Google
- 00:00:29Scholar. And once I get my info, I
- 00:00:31quickly dump it into my research project
- 00:00:33space so that I can bring to you blowup
- 00:00:35gate with APA citation. When I first
- 00:00:38started researching, I was only aiming
- 00:00:39for about 50 or 100 studies max. I ended
- 00:00:42up reading over 400 total, but I had to
- 00:00:44edit this down into around 70 that
- 00:00:46actually made it into the video. And
- 00:00:48because I kept adding new things as I
- 00:00:50worked, I had to make my Exiles project
- 00:00:52look cute and aesthetic. If you like how
- 00:00:53my planner looks, you can get Xiles at
- 00:00:55the link in my video description for
- 00:00:56free. But you see how beauty is earned.
- 00:00:58It's not given. I'm a beautiful nerd. I
- 00:01:01almost lost my mind for you so you can
- 00:01:02glow up. And because of that, there's so
- 00:01:04much science and proven research behind
- 00:01:06what people find beautiful. And in case
- 00:01:07you're wondering, well, I'm so ugly. I'm
- 00:01:09doomed. Well, that's not true because I
- 00:01:11learned that beauty is a lot more
- 00:01:12objective than it seems. And because of
- 00:01:14that, it's actually very attainable. So
- 00:01:16even if you don't believe in yourself, I
- 00:01:18believe in you. I also read so many
- 00:01:19studies on why attractive people have an
- 00:01:21easier life. I mean, we already know.
- 00:01:22And so every single beauty tip that I
- 00:01:24give to you today is scientifically
- 00:01:26proven to give you more pretty
- 00:01:27privilege. Beauty is an easy way for you
- 00:01:29to gain power. And there is no excuse
- 00:01:31because I did not excuse myself. The old
- 00:01:33me gave me everything that I have now.
- 00:01:35My channel is all about evolving
- 00:01:37physically, mentally, spiritually. And
- 00:01:39in fact, I'm focusing on glow up videos
- 00:01:41for the rest of the month. So like and
- 00:01:43subscribe, and I promise you, you will
- 00:01:45glow up. Number one, start building a
- 00:01:46physical grooming routine. Before I get
- 00:01:48into it, obviously none of this is
- 00:01:50professional advice. I am not a doctor,
- 00:01:52but I am referencing all of the same
- 00:01:54studies and scientific research that
- 00:01:56your professionals also reference. But
- 00:01:58here's the first tip. Here's why
- 00:01:59physical grooming is absolutely
- 00:02:01non-negotiable. Having habits that take
- 00:02:02care of your appearance gives you more
- 00:02:04social leverage, and it's a very easy
- 00:02:06way to gain power. I promise you, nobody
- 00:02:09would take my advice seriously if I
- 00:02:10looked the way that I used to back when
- 00:02:12I clearly didn't take care of myself.
- 00:02:14Consequentially, this is also where a
- 00:02:16self-fulfilling prophecy happens. Just
- 00:02:18by putting in effort and looking put
- 00:02:20together makes people believe that you
- 00:02:23are more attractive. And the way that
- 00:02:24people treat you because of the way you
- 00:02:26look makes you believe that you're more
- 00:02:28attractive because that's confirmation.
- 00:02:29When you look presentable to the world,
- 00:02:31you also look smarter, more trustworthy,
- 00:02:33more respectable. You have a higher
- 00:02:35chance of getting jobs, promotions, a
- 00:02:37second date, a lighter prison sentence.
- 00:02:39This is why serial deleters have fan
- 00:02:41clubs. In life, attractive people get
- 00:02:43more and also get away with more. You
- 00:02:45can demonstrate to people that you are
- 00:02:47disciplined, capable, sociable,
- 00:02:49intelligent just by the way you look
- 00:02:50alone. If you can at least don't smell
- 00:02:52bad, have clean nails, clear skin,
- 00:02:54neatly styled hair that suits you, a
- 00:02:57polished outfit, don't have anything
- 00:02:58stuck in your teeth, and know how to
- 00:03:00camouflage your flaws. That alone will
- 00:03:02earn you the halo effect, even if
- 00:03:04nothing else changes. Number two,
- 00:03:06enhancing facial symmetry. Facial
- 00:03:08symmetry is considered a universal
- 00:03:10marker of beauty because it shows that
- 00:03:12you're healthy and physically developed.
- 00:03:14Supermodel Adriana Lima's face is
- 00:03:16considered one of the most symmetrical
- 00:03:18model faces known to mankind. Now, I'm
- 00:03:20not going to go too deep into specific
- 00:03:22details like golden ratios or
- 00:03:24measurements. But this study is super
- 00:03:26eye opening. Literally, it says that men
- 00:03:28and women prefer symmetrical faces that
- 00:03:30combine an innocent but sexy look. Some
- 00:03:32things that come up include cupidie doll
- 00:03:34faces, meaning large eyes, small nose,
- 00:03:37and small mouth, but full lips combined
- 00:03:39with lush maturity like thick hair, dewy
- 00:03:42skin, high cheekbones, a firm jaw and
- 00:03:44chin. While you can't naturally change
- 00:03:46your bone structure, you can create the
- 00:03:49illusion of facial symmetry with
- 00:03:51grooming choices like eye makeup, brow
- 00:03:53shaping with brow mapping techniques,
- 00:03:55evening out your skin tone with skincare
- 00:03:57or makeup, facial contouring, filler,
- 00:03:59teeth whitening, and facial exercises to
- 00:04:02create a more symmetrical face. There
- 00:04:04are so many types of facial exercises
- 00:04:05out there, but the easiest one you can
- 00:04:07do today is a gouacha. If you don't have
- 00:04:09a tool, make sure to use clean hands and
- 00:04:11some moisturizer and just do upward
- 00:04:14motions. soft pressure, not too hard.
- 00:04:16Don't pull your skin. And don't worry,
- 00:04:18I'm going to get into other things like
- 00:04:19skin, hair, makeup in detail very soon.
- 00:04:21Number three, facial contrast
- 00:04:23enhancement. So, what does that even
- 00:04:25mean? Technically, it means the
- 00:04:26difference in glow and color between the
- 00:04:29eyes, mouth, and eyebrows and the skin
- 00:04:31around these features. Here's a photo of
- 00:04:33the difference between high and low
- 00:04:34contrast. Specifically, with women, this
- 00:04:36makes them look younger and more
- 00:04:38feminine. There are two studies led by
- 00:04:40this researcher named Porscheon on
- 00:04:41facial contrast and aging. And they
- 00:04:43found that facial contrast significantly
- 00:04:46around the eyes and the mouth declines
- 00:04:48as you age no matter what ethnicity you
- 00:04:50are. And faces with artificially
- 00:04:52increased contrast, like with makeup,
- 00:04:54for example, they're judged to look
- 00:04:55younger. Studies have also proven that
- 00:04:57aging and constant exposure to the sun
- 00:05:00affects our skin. And it seems that
- 00:05:02women generally lose facial contrast as
- 00:05:04they get older, particularly in the eyes
- 00:05:06and mouth areas. Women look younger when
- 00:05:08their eyebrows, their eyes, and their
- 00:05:09lips stand out more. There are also
- 00:05:11other studies within that paper that
- 00:05:12showed a higher contrast also increases
- 00:05:15attractiveness regardless of your age.
- 00:05:17This is true no matter what culture
- 00:05:19you're from. So, when you do makeup,
- 00:05:20focus on your eyebrows, your eyes, and
- 00:05:22your lips. And use opposing colors to
- 00:05:24the color wheel relatively to your eye
- 00:05:26color to make your eyes pop more or just
- 00:05:28add a bit more strategic highlights and
- 00:05:30shadows. I personally have small eyes,
- 00:05:32but I like to make my eyes bigger
- 00:05:34because that's another indicator of
- 00:05:36beauty. Stronger eyebrows also help, but
- 00:05:38personally I have bangs instead of
- 00:05:40eyebrows. And of course, fuller lips
- 00:05:42with a natural rosy color instead of
- 00:05:44going too harsh. Number four, body
- 00:05:46proportions. And this one is
- 00:05:47specifically for women. There was a
- 00:05:49study that found that a waist to hip
- 00:05:50ratio of around 0.7 is a consistent
- 00:05:54predictor of perceived female
- 00:05:55attractiveness across pretty much all
- 00:05:58cultures. Even more so than facial
- 00:06:00features, body shape played a huge role
- 00:06:02in how attractive someone was rated. So,
- 00:06:04how can you achieve more of that ratio?
- 00:06:06Glow-up efforts like working out, for
- 00:06:08example, training your core, and lucky
- 00:06:11you because I found three very recent
- 00:06:13studies that prove you can actually spot
- 00:06:16reduce stomach fat, specifically through
- 00:06:18core balancing workouts, high rep
- 00:06:20aerobic cardio, like for example, F
- 00:06:22circuits paired with endurance cardio.
- 00:06:24And you repeat these in sets. I know
- 00:06:26some of you like to fight me and be
- 00:06:27like, "Oh, well, that's not true. You
- 00:06:29can't spot reduced fat." Well, can you
- 00:06:31argue with science? because I found
- 00:06:33studies that you can. You can also build
- 00:06:35your glutes by doing stepups, deadlifts,
- 00:06:37hip thrusts, and squats. And just as
- 00:06:39much as you can spot reduce your
- 00:06:40abdominal fat, you can also increase the
- 00:06:42muscles on your butt. Correcting your
- 00:06:44posture helps too, which is very easy.
- 00:06:46Just sit and stand up straight at a 90°
- 00:06:49angle and try not to hunch your back.
- 00:06:51And even with waist sculpting or waist
- 00:06:53training, that can also visually enhance
- 00:06:55your waist to hip ratio. Number five,
- 00:06:57skin tone and color. There are a few
- 00:06:59studies that I found where people with
- 00:07:00more oxygenated keratenoid rich skin
- 00:07:03tones, meaning rosy cheeks and golden
- 00:07:06undertones, were consistently rated as
- 00:07:08healthier and more attractive even when
- 00:07:10their facial structure remain the same.
- 00:07:12And this is true across all shades of
- 00:07:15skin tones. Obviously, you can use
- 00:07:16makeup like foundations, bronzers, and
- 00:07:19blush to get a rosier complexion. But
- 00:07:21you can also enhance these signals
- 00:07:23naturally through exercise to improve
- 00:07:25your circulation or eat a diet that's
- 00:07:27rich in fruits and vegetables that
- 00:07:29contain carotenoids, meaning
- 00:07:31specifically these vegetables that I'm
- 00:07:33listing here. But also another shortcut
- 00:07:34can basically be to look out for
- 00:07:36vegetables that are red, orange, and
- 00:07:38green, and eat a lot of it. You can also
- 00:07:40try treatments like red light therapy or
- 00:07:42exfoliation. All of these things can
- 00:07:44improve the glow of your skin or, you
- 00:07:46know, self-tanner, but don't go too
- 00:07:48orange. I'm really excited about this
- 00:07:50one because I have so many studies. But
- 00:07:52another way to glow up fast is to focus
- 00:07:55on skin barrier repair. That's how you
- 00:07:57get your glass skin. This is the point
- 00:07:58where I read the most studies. So, if
- 00:08:00you ask me the most effective way to get
- 00:08:02clear, glowy, youthful skin, I would say
- 00:08:04focus on cellular turnover and barrier
- 00:08:06repair. Cellular turnover is how quickly
- 00:08:09old dead skin cells are replaced with
- 00:08:11new ones. Especially if you have acne
- 00:08:13scars, pigmentation issues, or if you're
- 00:08:14worried about wrinkles or dull skin.
- 00:08:16This process of cellular turnover
- 00:08:18naturally slows down as you age, and it
- 00:08:20also slows with sun damage, pollution,
- 00:08:23and dehydration. While activives like
- 00:08:25using retinol or vitamin C or AHA, BHA
- 00:08:29are good for encouraging cellular
- 00:08:30turnover, too much and too harsh of a
- 00:08:33good thing can also be a bad thing. that
- 00:08:35can weaken your skin barrier and that
- 00:08:37will cause your skin to thin out which
- 00:08:38will make you age faster that creates a
- 00:08:40more dull complexion and irrima meaning
- 00:08:43redness on your face. But speaking from
- 00:08:45experience and I'm going to show you
- 00:08:46once you start treating the redness
- 00:08:48correctly it eventually goes away. I
- 00:08:50promise. I recommend picking one active
- 00:08:52maybe two max to add to your skincare
- 00:08:54routine and don't use both on the same
- 00:08:56routine. Obviously you also need a good
- 00:08:58diet as well as healthy lifestyle habits
- 00:09:00to support the cellular repair and give
- 00:09:02your body more nutrients. Another way to
- 00:09:04boost cellular turnover is to repair the
- 00:09:05skin barrier as your skin rebuilds
- 00:09:07itself. So, there are five main
- 00:09:09ingredients that does exactly this. I'm
- 00:09:11going to go over each of them with you.
- 00:09:12I just like to get Korean beauty
- 00:09:14products because Korean skincare is all
- 00:09:16about barrier repair and most products
- 00:09:18have these ingredients. 80% of my
- 00:09:20skincare is from Korean brands and I buy
- 00:09:22them from Yes Style, which is also the
- 00:09:23biggest online platform for Asian
- 00:09:25skincare, makeup, and they also sell a
- 00:09:27ton of other lifestyle things. But
- 00:09:28basically, I stopped buying all skin
- 00:09:30care from Amazon because there's a lot
- 00:09:32of reports lately about counterfeit
- 00:09:34beauty products floating around Amazon,
- 00:09:36and you definitely don't want fake stuff
- 00:09:39on your face. By the way, Yes Style is
- 00:09:40sponsoring this video, but I've been
- 00:09:42buying products from there for a while,
- 00:09:43so it wouldn't have mattered. I would
- 00:09:44have told you this anyway. It was
- 00:09:46life-changing for me, especially
- 00:09:47because, for example, with Korean
- 00:09:49sunscreen, which is known to be more
- 00:09:50advanced, you cannot buy some of these
- 00:09:52products in stores in the US because of
- 00:09:54super outdated regulation. Yes. style
- 00:09:56products are sourced from reputable
- 00:09:58suppliers. Their Korean products are
- 00:10:00imported directly from Korea. My skin
- 00:10:02was actually kind of bad last month. So,
- 00:10:04I think that's my mistake. I need to
- 00:10:06work on rehealing my skin barrier. And
- 00:10:07so, I actually worked on a new skincare
- 00:10:09routine, focusing on only cellular
- 00:10:11turnover and barrier repair with the
- 00:10:12Korean skincare products I bought from
- 00:10:14Yes Style. And you can see after a
- 00:10:16month, this is how my skin looks now.
- 00:10:18It's more even, less red, the bumps are
- 00:10:20gone, and my pores shrink. Anyway, so
- 00:10:22the first ingredient is called Sika,
- 00:10:24also known as Santella Aiatica extract.
- 00:10:27I've actually used this for surgical
- 00:10:28wound healing. It's scientifically
- 00:10:30proven to improve hydration, stop
- 00:10:32moisture from leaving your skin. It's
- 00:10:34anti-inflammatory, and it also helps
- 00:10:36with re-epiilization, which means your
- 00:10:39body creates new skin cells. By far,
- 00:10:41this is my favorite ingredient. It's
- 00:10:43super soothing for sensitive skin, and I
- 00:10:45have multiple moisturizers and
- 00:10:47sunscreens that have this ingredient. I
- 00:10:49use this every day. The second
- 00:10:51ingredient is pentthanol, also known as
- 00:10:53vitamin B5. I have a cream that has both
- 00:10:55sentella aiatica and pentanol and it's a
- 00:10:57very healing moisturizer. This is also
- 00:10:59one of the main ingredients in Aquafor,
- 00:11:01but technically pentthanol cream is
- 00:11:03better. Clinical studies are showing
- 00:11:04that topical pentanol is used to reduce
- 00:11:06inflammation, increase fibroblast
- 00:11:08growth, meaning your skin builds
- 00:11:10connective tissues as it heals and
- 00:11:12speeds up skin barrier recovery. Creams
- 00:11:14that have pentthanol also lead to faster
- 00:11:16healing of wounds and complete barrier
- 00:11:18restoration. about one week earlier than
- 00:11:21untreated skin. The third ingredient is
- 00:11:23ceramides. Ceramides are a key lipid in
- 00:11:25the stratocornia, meaning it's a type of
- 00:11:27fat tissue on your skin surface. In
- 00:11:29fact, ceramides make up 50% of your skin
- 00:11:32barrier. And creams of ceramides in it
- 00:11:34replenishes that fat tissue on your skin
- 00:11:36barrier that might get stripped off your
- 00:11:38face with age with harsh skincare
- 00:11:40routine. It also reduces inflammation
- 00:11:42and helps your skin become less
- 00:11:43sensitive. The fourth ingredient is
- 00:11:45snail mucin filtrate. I know how that
- 00:11:48sounds, but I love snails and their
- 00:11:50mucin helps regenerate your skin. And I
- 00:11:51promise you, they're not squeezing the
- 00:11:53snails to get the mucin out. I came
- 00:11:55across about 10 studies about skill
- 00:11:57mucin where it was found to
- 00:11:58significantly boost hydration, skin
- 00:12:00elasticity, wound healing, and also
- 00:12:02reduce the signs of aging by reducing
- 00:12:05fine lines, wrinkles, and texture on
- 00:12:07your face. It helps your body increase
- 00:12:08re-epilation and boost growth factor,
- 00:12:11which is the stem cell. You need this to
- 00:12:13boost new skin cell growth. The fifth
- 00:12:15ingredient which you might see a lot in
- 00:12:17Korean beauty products is nioinamide.
- 00:12:19It's also known as vitamin B3. Topical
- 00:12:22nicotinomide increases ceramides in the
- 00:12:24stratum corneium and improve skin
- 00:12:26barrier function. There's actually a
- 00:12:2712week control trial on women that I
- 00:12:29read about where daily use of only 5%
- 00:12:32nioinamide significantly reduce signs of
- 00:12:35aging including saggginess including
- 00:12:37fine wrinkles compared to placebo.
- 00:12:39Placebo means everyone thought they're
- 00:12:41getting this but only half of them did.
- 00:12:43It was also proven to improve
- 00:12:45elasticity, less yellowing and dullness,
- 00:12:47and produces a smoother, more radiant
- 00:12:49and even complexion in only 12 weeks. I
- 00:12:52own quite a few products that have
- 00:12:53nyinami in it, and it's a very common
- 00:12:55skincare ingredient these days. I use a
- 00:12:57mix of all of these five ingredients
- 00:12:58that I mentioned every single day, and
- 00:13:00I'm super confident in recommending all
- 00:13:02of this to you. And of course, I also
- 00:13:03recommend buying from Yes Style because
- 00:13:05it's legit. They have sales going on all
- 00:13:07the time for their skincare brand. I'm
- 00:13:09always getting a good deal from it, and
- 00:13:10they ship pretty quickly worldwide. So
- 00:13:12check out Yes Style for your Korean
- 00:13:14skincare needs. And you can use my code
- 00:13:15May12 for extra 12% off on orders over
- 00:13:18$39. And thank you to Yes Style for
- 00:13:20sponsoring this video. Number seven,
- 00:13:22SPF. I know, I know you hear a lot about
- 00:13:24SPF, but it is so important. Use
- 00:13:26broadspectctrum sunscreen or even better
- 00:13:28sunblock all day, every day. SPF 30 or
- 00:13:31higher. And reapply if you're outside in
- 00:13:33the sun. If you don't know what
- 00:13:34broadspectctrum means, that means it
- 00:13:36covers both UVA and UVB rays. UVA is the
- 00:13:39one that can cause a tan and break down
- 00:13:40collagen on your face. UVA ray causes
- 00:13:42wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, meaning
- 00:13:44your scars get dark and it penetrates
- 00:13:47deep into your skin. UVA is a very very
- 00:13:49sneaky can come through even on gray and
- 00:13:52cloudy days. So if you sit by the window
- 00:13:53during the daytime, it travels through
- 00:13:55glass. So if you live in an apartment
- 00:13:57like mine especially, I basically live
- 00:13:59in a glass box. So I'm definitely being
- 00:14:02hit by UVA rays all day long. And so you
- 00:14:05bet I wear a sunblock the first thing I
- 00:14:07wake up. So UVB is the one that causes
- 00:14:09sunburn if you are out in the sun for
- 00:14:11too long. It doesn't really come through
- 00:14:13the glass, but both UVA and UVB can
- 00:14:16contribute to skin cancer and melasma.
- 00:14:18Now, I know there's a lot of talk these
- 00:14:19days about visible light indoors or blue
- 00:14:22light also contributing to melasma,
- 00:14:24which is why I never not wear my SPF,
- 00:14:26especially when I'm working at my desk
- 00:14:28in front of screen. But I also read a
- 00:14:30recent study that's testing out a UVA
- 00:14:32UVB plus new blue light filter. So
- 00:14:35hopefully we'll see blue light
- 00:14:36sunscreens in the next few years. And
- 00:14:38there is also a difference between
- 00:14:40sunscreen and sunblock. The difference
- 00:14:41is sunscreen is made of chemicals that
- 00:14:44absorb UV radiation before it damages
- 00:14:46your skin. So it's made of ingredients
- 00:14:48like aobenzone, oxyenzone, octinosate.
- 00:14:52It sounds chemicalish because it is.
- 00:14:53This is usually easier to apply and
- 00:14:55blend into your skin because it's
- 00:14:57lightweight and sometimes it's invisible
- 00:14:59so it doesn't leave a white cast.
- 00:15:00Chemical sunscreen also doesn't work
- 00:15:02immediately. you need to wait about 10
- 00:15:04to 15 minutes before it starts to work.
- 00:15:06Whereas sunblock, also known as a
- 00:15:08physical sunscreen that sits on top of
- 00:15:10your skin and it reflects UV rays away
- 00:15:13from your skin. It does not absorb into
- 00:15:15your skin. So this is made of
- 00:15:16ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium
- 00:15:19dioxide. That's the stuff that does
- 00:15:20leave a white cast on your skin by the
- 00:15:22way and it's harder to blend. Zinc oxide
- 00:15:24is the better ingredient because it
- 00:15:26offers real full spectrum sun protection
- 00:15:28and it's safe for the environment.
- 00:15:30Because of this, there are some concerns
- 00:15:32of chemical sunscreens because studies
- 00:15:34have shown that it actually answers your
- 00:15:36bloodstream and that can be a hormone
- 00:15:38and endocrine disruptor. It also
- 00:15:40destroys coral reefs, so it's bad for
- 00:15:43the environment. And imagine what that
- 00:15:44could do to your skin, right? I don't
- 00:15:46love chemical sunscreens unless it's
- 00:15:48Korean sunscreen, which has way better
- 00:15:50ingredients. I use Korean sunscreen on
- 00:15:52my face and only use zinc oxide mineral
- 00:15:55sunblock on the rest of my body. So, if
- 00:15:57you want to avoid any kind of sunscreens
- 00:15:59at all because you don't trust it, just
- 00:16:01use zinc oxide cream. You can literally
- 00:16:04buy it as a giant tub in the form of a
- 00:16:06diaper rash cream. That's another
- 00:16:07ingredient that's medically used to
- 00:16:08enhance and protect your skin barrier. I
- 00:16:10actually use that as a facial mask
- 00:16:12sometimes overnight after using my
- 00:16:14tininoid and that really locks
- 00:16:16everything in. And the reason why I talk
- 00:16:18about Korean sunscreens is that
- 00:16:19commercial sunscreens in the west block
- 00:16:21mostly UVB rays, which is the one that
- 00:16:23causes sunburns and also produce vitamin
- 00:16:26D. But they don't block UVA rays unless
- 00:16:29it says broadsp spectrum sunscreen. But
- 00:16:31even then, regulations in the US have
- 00:16:33not been updated for almost three
- 00:16:35decades, which is a third of a century
- 00:16:37by the way. Whereas the regulations in
- 00:16:39Europe and Asia have evolved, which
- 00:16:40makes European and Asian chemical
- 00:16:42sunscreens actually much much safer to
- 00:16:44use. Korean sunscreens are also
- 00:16:46literally superior because it's
- 00:16:47cosmetically elegant, meaning it's very
- 00:16:50lightweight, absorbs easily, it leaves a
- 00:16:52nice dewy finish, no white cast, and
- 00:16:54many of them have ingredients for
- 00:16:55anti-aging, healing skin barrier like
- 00:16:57sentella aiatica and jinseng extract,
- 00:16:59which is very nice if you don't want to
- 00:17:01pile on a tense scap skincare routine,
- 00:17:03which is also bad for your skin anyway.
- 00:17:04But if you don't want to deal with any
- 00:17:06sunscreens at all, the best sunscreen is
- 00:17:08still wearing clothing with SPF
- 00:17:10protection. I always wear this giant
- 00:17:12brim sun hat when I go outside. And if
- 00:17:14I'm sitting by the pool, I wear SPF mask
- 00:17:17over my face and my chest. And then if
- 00:17:18I'm in the car, I wear SPF gloves.
- 00:17:21Number eight is red light therapy. And
- 00:17:23red light therapy is one of the most
- 00:17:25studied glow-up techniques ever. I have
- 00:17:27read thousands of studies since I
- 00:17:29started using it. And I use red light in
- 00:17:30infrared therapy with a full body light
- 00:17:32panel. And it needs to be in a 633 to
- 00:17:35850 Nm frequency range. So, a regular
- 00:17:38red light bulb or some cheap model from
- 00:17:40Amazon will not work. A good decent one
- 00:17:42will cost at least $1,000, but this is
- 00:17:45actually the best return on investment I
- 00:17:47have ever made for my skin and my body.
- 00:17:49I bought mine six or seven years ago,
- 00:17:51and I still use it every day. I do red
- 00:17:53light for 10 minutes on my back and then
- 00:17:5510 minutes on my face, chest, and arms
- 00:17:56while I'm blow drying my hair or while
- 00:17:58I'm meditating. Just making sure that
- 00:18:00it's at least 3 to 6 in away from my
- 00:18:02body and face or even like 3, 6, or 12
- 00:18:05in. And the distance is super important.
- 00:18:07It doesn't work if it's too close.
- 00:18:08Meaning, those red light facial robot
- 00:18:10masks are maybe like 10% the
- 00:18:12effectiveness of my light panel. It
- 00:18:14gives me instant energy in the morning.
- 00:18:16It helps me sleep better at night. It's
- 00:18:17amazing for skin and wound healing. It
- 00:18:19helps with seasonal depression as well.
- 00:18:21And I treat this like a plant light, but
- 00:18:23for my body. If you don't know already,
- 00:18:25the mitochondria is the powerhouse of
- 00:18:26the cell. And red light therapy is
- 00:18:28proven to boost mitochondria,
- 00:18:30specifically activating the cyc oxidase,
- 00:18:33which charges up cellular energy and
- 00:18:36boostes and snatches up your entire
- 00:18:38self. This cascade triggers an entire
- 00:18:40range of body repairing and anti-aging
- 00:18:43responses, especially when you keep
- 00:18:44using it consistently over time. But I
- 00:18:47have to warn you though, because the
- 00:18:48results are very gradual. This is a
- 00:18:50long-term investment. I also think red
- 00:18:52light is part of why I look so young
- 00:18:54despite my wise years. And my skin and
- 00:18:56body also heals very fast because of it.
- 00:18:58Red light therapy is basically like a
- 00:19:00gym for your skin cells. It helps them
- 00:19:02function better. It repairs faster. Red
- 00:19:03light therapy supports all of that with
- 00:19:06no trauma and no downtime. In fact, it's
- 00:19:08a very, very good compliment to any kind
- 00:19:10of procedures or facials that do have
- 00:19:12downtime like micro needling or lasers
- 00:19:14or surgery, for example. I'm not going
- 00:19:16to bore you with all of the details
- 00:19:17because there's so many, but here's a
- 00:19:19list of the benefits specifically for
- 00:19:21the skin. Number nine is a beauty sleep
- 00:19:24routine. And there are a few things that
- 00:19:26you can do to glow up while you sleep.
- 00:19:28Number one is work on your nasal
- 00:19:30breathing and mouth taping. I know some
- 00:19:32of you guys probably see this all over
- 00:19:33Tik Tok, but it's true. Especially if
- 00:19:35you snore at night and you have sleep
- 00:19:37apnoa, this is affecting your glow up a
- 00:19:39lot. Proper nasal breathing is very
- 00:19:41important for optimal maxelo facial
- 00:19:43development because there are studies
- 00:19:45done on chronic mouth breathing
- 00:19:46especially when you're younger that
- 00:19:48correlates with altered facial growth
- 00:19:50and adenoid faces which looks like a
- 00:19:53longer narrower face and mal occlusion
- 00:19:55compared to nasal breathers. Basically
- 00:19:58it makes you look like Napoleon
- 00:19:59dynamite. So having braces and also
- 00:20:02maxelo facial surgery can fix edenoid
- 00:20:04faces but the easiest option is to just
- 00:20:06prevent it. So, number one, tape your
- 00:20:08mouth while you sleep. And number two,
- 00:20:10make sure that you can breathe out of
- 00:20:12your nose because that's the reason why
- 00:20:14you're a mouth breather because you
- 00:20:15can't breathe through your nose. So, I
- 00:20:16eventually had to get nose surgery to
- 00:20:18fix my mouth breathing for good, but
- 00:20:19that's a last resort when nothing else
- 00:20:21works. You can also get nasal strips to
- 00:20:24open up your passageways and help you
- 00:20:25breathe better. Doing these two things
- 00:20:27will help you not snore so much at night
- 00:20:29and also help with sleep apnnea. Another
- 00:20:31thing that can help with wrinkles and
- 00:20:33hair breakage and split ends, frizzy
- 00:20:35hair, is to use pillowcase fabrics of
- 00:20:37less friction and wear a silk bonnet.
- 00:20:39Your sleeping position can absolutely
- 00:20:41cause wrinkles and skin texture
- 00:20:43problems, especially acne. The worst
- 00:20:46offending sleep positions are the
- 00:20:48sleeping on your stomach, on your face,
- 00:20:50and a side sleeper. I used to be a side
- 00:20:53sleeper with terrible acne on my jaw
- 00:20:55because I will drool out of my mouth and
- 00:20:57the bacteria from the saliva causes
- 00:21:00acne. So now I sleep raised up on my
- 00:21:02back, squarely on my back with two to
- 00:21:04three pillows. I also have a study
- 00:21:06linked where over eight weeks pillow
- 00:21:08cases of microscopic copper oxide which
- 00:21:10has a smoother low friction surface that
- 00:21:12actually produce a significant reduction
- 00:21:14in crows feet wrinkles depth compared to
- 00:21:17the control. Which means that using a
- 00:21:19smooth pillow fabric like silk or satin
- 00:21:22or some kind of copper oxide material
- 00:21:24that can lessen sleep induced facial
- 00:21:26wrinkles. Friction and abrasion also
- 00:21:29causes hair cuticle damage and breakage.
- 00:21:32So smooth pillowcases also reduces hair
- 00:21:34fiber friction and that protects your
- 00:21:36hair from tangling up and frizzing up
- 00:21:38and breaking. I also use a silk bonnet
- 00:21:40to protect my hair and prevent spit ends
- 00:21:42while I sleep. Especially because my
- 00:21:44hair is so long, my hair gets tangled up
- 00:21:46and not easily. And this is a
- 00:21:47non-negotiable for me because I don't
- 00:21:49want to wake up with a bird's nest
- 00:21:50behind my neck and I have to spend 10
- 00:21:52minutes in the morning detangling it.
- 00:21:54Okay. And then some of you are not going
- 00:21:55to like this one. Yes, you need to have
- 00:21:57a full night of sleep at least 7 to N
- 00:22:00hours every night. The earlier the
- 00:22:01better. And you have to do this in order
- 00:22:03to look more attractive. There are
- 00:22:04studies that show that the before and
- 00:22:06after photos of people who get a lot of
- 00:22:08sleep versus they're sleepd deprived.
- 00:22:09And the photos of them when they're
- 00:22:11getting a lot of sleep are consistently
- 00:22:12rated healthier and more attractive.
- 00:22:14Yeah, I know there are attractive people
- 00:22:16who don't sleep very much, but I promise
- 00:22:18you this will catch up to them very
- 00:22:20quickly and they are going to look even
- 00:22:21better if they sleep. There's another
- 00:22:23clinical study that I found that link
- 00:22:25chronic poor sleep quality with
- 00:22:26increased signs of skin aging like fine
- 00:22:28lines, uneven pigmentation, and worsen
- 00:22:31skin barrier function. So now you are
- 00:22:33starting to see all of the connections
- 00:22:35of how beauty is so closely tied to your
- 00:22:37health, your lifestyle habits, and the
- 00:22:39ability of your body to rejuvenate
- 00:22:41itself and to heal. And sleep is huge.
- 00:22:44Your body repairs itself at night while
- 00:22:47you sleep. So, no amount of skin care or
- 00:22:50treatments are going to hide the fact
- 00:22:52that you have poor chronic sleep issues.
- 00:22:54When I used to work in a night life
- 00:22:55where I worked till 5:00 a.m. and went
- 00:22:56to bed at 10:00 a.m., I looked really
- 00:22:59awful and bloated. And I'm also actually
- 00:23:01just recovering from fighting an
- 00:23:02infection. And because I couldn't sleep
- 00:23:04very well for 2 weeks, not only did I
- 00:23:06glow down a bit recently and put on more
- 00:23:08weight, I also became angrier and more
- 00:23:11irritated at the smallest things when
- 00:23:13usually I'm very detached and I don't
- 00:23:15care a lot about anything. So yeah, get
- 00:23:18a lot of sleep for the sake of your
- 00:23:19well-being and also for the sake of
- 00:23:21people around you. Number 10, foods to
- 00:23:23avoid. Obviously, diet is very
- 00:23:24important, right? But what about it
- 00:23:26should you do to glow up? And of course,
- 00:23:27I want you to eat a lot of vegetables. I
- 00:23:29covered that already with the vegetable
- 00:23:31list that helps improve your skin. But
- 00:23:32aside from vegetables, I have one more
- 00:23:34specific thing for you to add. And then
- 00:23:35two more things to minimize or to avoid
- 00:23:37completely. The first thing to add to
- 00:23:39your diet is omega-3 fatty acids. So in
- 00:23:41studies increased omega-3 significantly
- 00:23:44reduces inflammation, acne and gives you
- 00:23:46clear skin. The best source of omega-3
- 00:23:48is usually fish or wild caught salmon,
- 00:23:51mackerel, sardine, anchovies, cod liver
- 00:23:53oil, eggs. But if you are vegetarian,
- 00:23:56you can also get this from flax seeds,
- 00:23:57chia seeds, and walnuts. But that has to
- 00:23:59be taken with DHA algae oil so that it
- 00:24:02can convert ALA to EPA and DHA. I don't
- 00:24:04know what any of that means, but just do
- 00:24:06that. Now, as for what to avoid, if you
- 00:24:08want to look absolutely gorgeous with
- 00:24:09clear skin and no bloating, avoid added
- 00:24:12sugar entirely. I always have known that
- 00:24:14it was bad, but now that I read studies
- 00:24:16on it, it's worse than I thought. Some
- 00:24:18of these studies showed that higher
- 00:24:19carbohydrate intake, including added
- 00:24:22sugars, was directly associated with
- 00:24:24more wrinkling and skin atrophy. Skin
- 00:24:27atrophy, means your skin collapses and
- 00:24:29looks saggy. Another skin glycation
- 00:24:31research study shows that high sugar
- 00:24:33diets promote skin aging via glycation.
- 00:24:35So what this means that it's basically a
- 00:24:37biochemical process that ages your skin
- 00:24:39from the inside out. It creates chronic
- 00:24:41inflammation from the inside which leads
- 00:24:43to all kinds of diseases and this is
- 00:24:45mostly triggered by sugar. It is so bad.
- 00:24:48It creates wrinkles. It drains your skin
- 00:24:50collagen and the skin glycation effect
- 00:24:53accumulates over time as you age.
- 00:24:55Meaning someone who's been eating sugar
- 00:24:58consistently for 30 years is going to
- 00:24:59look so much older at 50 compared to
- 00:25:02someone who only ate sugar for 5 years.
- 00:25:04and let's say they're both the same age.
- 00:25:05Another thing to avoid is alcohol. A
- 00:25:08survey of over 3,000 women showed that
- 00:25:10heavy alcohol intake was significantly
- 00:25:13associated with more loss of volume in
- 00:25:15the midface, which is exactly the area
- 00:25:17where everyone's getting a facelift
- 00:25:19these days. And also deeper nasol labial
- 00:25:21folds and more under eye puffiness
- 00:25:24compared to non-drinkers. Your body is
- 00:25:26more depleted of nutrients and also more
- 00:25:28dehydrated. And this speeds up facial
- 00:25:30aging markers, making you look way older
- 00:25:33than you are. Another study involving
- 00:25:3583,000 women showed that consistent
- 00:25:37alcohol use leads to higher risk of
- 00:25:39rosacea and it triggers chronic skin
- 00:25:41redness and a worsened ability for your
- 00:25:43skin to heal the barrier. Guys, I have
- 00:25:46done my part in bringing you scientific
- 00:25:48facts. So, the rest is on you if you
- 00:25:50want to believe it or not, and if you
