  • 00:01:35
friends is a glass of raw milk it's not
  • 00:01:38
actually John's milk I'm sorry to say uh
  • 00:01:41
his milk is absolutely delicious but
  • 00:01:43
this is because I'm not in um Wiltshire
  • 00:01:46
where he is I'm in Sussex I go to a
  • 00:01:48
different supplier of raw milk grass-fed
  • 00:01:51
    cows producing
  • 00:01:54
    wonderful
  • 00:01:55
M and tasty raw milk or just milk you
  • 00:02:00
know before it's being adulterated by
  • 00:02:02
    pasteurizing it homogenizing it or
  • 00:02:05
standardizing it it is basically good
  • 00:02:08
oldfashioned cows milk and it's very
  • 00:02:09
good for you contains all sorts of very
  • 00:02:11
good things before it's killed off in
  • 00:02:13
    the pasteurizing or pasteurizing process
  • 00:02:17
however you want to pronounce it however
  • 00:02:18
there's a lot of people who don't like
  • 00:02:20
drinking milk you know dairy milk they
  • 00:02:22
they find all these weird Alternatives
  • 00:02:25
like almond milk and um other sort of
  • 00:02:28
milks that they drink which doesn't
  • 00:02:30
actually come from an animal hasn't been
  • 00:02:31
    ruminated and isn't grass-fed I'm going
  • 00:02:33
to have to have another glass of
  • 00:02:36
it delicious and so good for you good
  • 00:02:39
for the skin by the way um if you're
  • 00:02:41
interested anyway the point of that I
  • 00:02:43
mentioned all of this about raw milk
  • 00:02:45
    particularly because people are talking
  • 00:02:48
about this yes cockroach milk it says is
  • 00:02:53
it the future of nutrition scientists
  • 00:02:56
say it's more nutritious than cow's milk
  • 00:02:59
um it may be more nutritious who cares
  • 00:03:02
uh are you going to drink the soding
  • 00:03:03
stuff and here we are just to remind you
  • 00:03:05
what they look like that is them imagine
  • 00:03:08
trying to get to their little tiets and
  • 00:03:09
milking them you'll be there all day far
  • 00:03:12
better to get to a lovely gy or Jersey
  • 00:03:15
or any of the Myriad of different cows
  • 00:03:18
that will give you good quality raw milk
  • 00:03:21
uh nice and creamy and healthy and good
  • 00:03:23
for you and all of that uh and then
  • 00:03:26
caches excuse me uh do they think that
  • 00:03:30
we are raving mad apparently they do do
  • 00:03:32
they think we're gullible it would seem
  • 00:03:35
anyway it says here the term superfood
  • 00:03:38
is commonly used in Fitness and Wellness
  • 00:03:40
    circles often referring to nutrient
  • 00:03:43
dense foods like dark leafy greens
  • 00:03:46
berries and nuts so far so good these
  • 00:03:49
foods are known for their High
  • 00:03:51
    nutritional content and are considered
  • 00:03:53
beneficial when included in a balanced
  • 00:03:55
diet which ordinarily would not uh con
  • 00:03:58
contain caches thank you very much
  • 00:04:01
however recent studies it says suggests
  • 00:04:05
that there may be an unexpected new
  • 00:04:06
contender in the superfood category yes
  • 00:04:09
    wait for
  • 00:04:11
it cockroach milk oh I can't wait I
  • 00:04:15
can't wait to try it well it may sound
  • 00:04:18
    off-putting yes scientists have found
  • 00:04:21
that cockroach milk especially from the
  • 00:04:23
species whatever that is and I can't
  • 00:04:25
pronounce it there would be three times
  • 00:04:27
more nutritious than cow's milk this
  • 00:04:29
    discovery sparked interest among
  • 00:04:31
nutritionists really um not sure about
  • 00:04:34
that who believe that cockroach milk
  • 00:04:36
    cockroach milk May possess Remarkable
  • 00:04:38
    Health benefits researchers have
  • 00:04:40
highlighted that the milk is rich in
  • 00:04:42
proteins fats sugars um making it one of
  • 00:04:45
the most nutritious dense substances on
  • 00:04:48
the planet which is why ladies and
  • 00:04:50
gentlemen of course it's in every
  • 00:04:52
supermarket in every corner shop and in
  • 00:04:55
every Farm across the land because it is
  • 00:04:57
so nutritious it's because it is so
  • 00:05:00
appealing just the very thought of it is
  • 00:05:02
so desirable that is why it's already
  • 00:05:05
here no hang on a minute I think I may
  • 00:05:07
have got that wrong I think it may be
  • 00:05:09
that we've been drinking the much more
  • 00:05:12
appealing much nicer much tastier and
  • 00:05:14
much more reliable and healthier cow's
  • 00:05:17
milk for a very long time that we've
  • 00:05:20
probably come up to the conclusion that
  • 00:05:22
trying to milk little insects however
  • 00:05:24
they produce them millions and millions
  • 00:05:26
of them which presumably have to die in
  • 00:05:29
order to get that milk rather than
  • 00:05:31
    milking a cow it doesn't die that's a
  • 00:05:35
    that's one thing that's in cow's favor
  • 00:05:38
plus the fact grass-fed grass-fed and
  • 00:05:41
all the nut the ruminant stuff that it
  • 00:05:44
goes through is very beneficial and
  • 00:05:46
we've been and it's proven long term for
  • 00:05:50
hundreds of years thousands of years
  • 00:05:52
maybe a millennia of years that cows
  • 00:05:55
milk does not kill you does not cause
  • 00:05:57
any nasty effects there not any po
  • 00:05:59
poisons in it it's actually very good
  • 00:06:01
even if it may not be and I'm not
  • 00:06:03
suggesting for a moment it is but even
  • 00:06:05
if it may not be quite as nutrient dense
  • 00:06:08
as cockroaches the last thing I want to
  • 00:06:10
put in my mouth is anything that's come
  • 00:06:13
out of one of those awful looking
  • 00:06:15
insects now the insects on its own it's
  • 00:06:17
probably a very beautiful thing if you
  • 00:06:18
get it up close under a microscope or
  • 00:06:20
with a magnifying glass probably very
  • 00:06:22
beautiful and it does its sort of thing
  • 00:06:23
but do I want to eat insects no thank
  • 00:06:26
you I just don't it's as simple as that
  • 00:06:28
and how stupid do they think they are
  • 00:06:31
and of course what they're going to do
  • 00:06:32
we know that is their plan is to get rid
  • 00:06:34
of that wonderful healthy nutrient food
  • 00:06:38
uh from say dairy animals and try and
  • 00:06:41
supplant us and convince us that eating
  • 00:06:45
cockroaches or meal worms or any of
  • 00:06:49
these Myriad of nasty looking things
  • 00:06:52
that normally are under floorboards or
  • 00:06:55
in uh sort of damp Dark Places and not
  • 00:06:58
    in wholesome fields
  • 00:07:00
cavorting about and enjoying life uh is
  • 00:07:03
that that's what we got to eat H it's a
  • 00:07:05
bit like um it's a bit like this one
  • 00:07:06
isn't it that was on the news yesterday
  • 00:07:09
everyone was talking about this one and
  • 00:07:11
that is um the the lab grown beef here
  • 00:07:15
is a burger is that really one of their
  • 00:07:17
burgers that looks suspiciously like an
  • 00:07:19
actual real beef burger but who knows
  • 00:07:21
Scottish business tests if lab grown
  • 00:07:24
food could be safe to eat well do you
  • 00:07:26
want to eat lab grown food really do you
  • 00:07:29
want to eat something that's just a
  • 00:07:31
bunch of cells that's been grown and is
  • 00:07:34
slowly fermenting away until it makes
  • 00:07:36
some sort of brown stuff why if that's
  • 00:07:38
what you want to eat would you want to
  • 00:07:40
make it look or taste like meat why not
  • 00:07:43
have meat that looks and taste like meat
  • 00:07:46
and is generally much more nutritious
  • 00:07:49
and uh you know where it's come from and
  • 00:07:51
it's more natural than something hideous
  • 00:07:54
grown in a lab but an Edinburgh firm
  • 00:07:57
part of the Institute that cloned dolly
  • 00:07:59
the Sheep so we're told do we really
  • 00:08:01
know that they cloned the Sheep do we
  • 00:08:03
know that for sure or they just told us
  • 00:08:06
that I I never quite know with this this
  • 00:08:08
cloning thing anyway apparently it is to
  • 00:08:10
investigate this lab grown food that
  • 00:08:12
could be safe for humans to eat yum yum
  • 00:08:15
it's part of the food standard agency
  • 00:08:18
which is um a bit of an oxymoron in its
  • 00:08:21
name isn't it really uh program that
  • 00:08:23
    aims to gather rigorous scientific
  • 00:08:25
    evidence about sell cultivated products
  • 00:08:28
before they can be sold to Consumers H
  • 00:08:31
well let's hope they all eat it first
  • 00:08:33
and any of those MPS and people in the
  • 00:08:35
House of Commons who are going to push
  • 00:08:37
this through maybe they eat it for 10
  • 00:08:40
years first and we see what happens to
  • 00:08:41
them they could have cockroach milk in
  • 00:08:44
their tea or neat straight from the
  • 00:08:47
    cockroach wriggling in their fingers
  • 00:08:49
let's see them eat it for a very
  • 00:08:51
prolonged period of time and see how
  • 00:08:53
they like it see if they manage to
  • 00:08:55
survive and see if they'll have it I bet
  • 00:08:57
you that they will not want to have any
  • 00:09:00
of that nonsense I tell you for me I'll
  • 00:09:02
stick with grass raised uh cattle a beef
  • 00:09:06
for my food which is very delicious
  • 00:09:08
thank you very much and some of this
  • 00:09:10
wonderful raw milk and if you happen to
  • 00:09:12
be in Wilshire do pop out to Dora's Dar
  • 00:09:15
you'll find it by searching Dora's Dairy
  • 00:09:18
and you can have some wonderful M of
  • 00:09:20
course there are other raw milk supplies
  • 00:09:22
and if you see them nearby support them
  • 00:09:24
they need as much support as possible
  • 00:09:26
because this is the milk that we used to
  • 00:09:28
    drink before the nonsense of
  • 00:09:30
    pasteurization came in particularly that
  • 00:09:33
    homogeneization which is even worse
  • 00:09:35
standardizing milk into a blend of
  • 00:09:37
goodness knows what at least when you
  • 00:09:39
have raw milk you know what cow it came
  • 00:09:41
from well the dairy that it came from at
  • 00:09:43
the very least and you can you can enjoy
  • 00:09:46
the creamy natural taste which is what
  • 00:09:48
we're supposed to taste do they think
  • 00:09:50
we're stupid I think they do but are we
  • 00:09:52
stupid not at all look after yourselves
  • 00:09:55
and thanks so much for watching till
  • 00:09:56
    next time cheers
  • 00:10:01
    oh yummy
