- 00:00:00hello this is Dr D masu I'm a senior
- 00:00:02consultant in the field of
- 00:00:03neuroanesthesiology and today I'm going
- 00:00:05to cover a very important topic that is
- 00:00:06who's going to be a highest paid doctor
- 00:00:09by 2034 that is 10 years down the line
- 00:00:11the basic agenda behind doing this
- 00:00:13particular uh uh presentation is don't
- 00:00:17do what's trending rather than you need
- 00:00:19to do what is going to Trend in future
- 00:00:21so for the simple logic is see for
- 00:00:24example if you're doing a speciality
- 00:00:26which is actually booming now okay then
- 00:00:28it might not be the trending speciality
- 00:00:30in future see now you finish your mbbs
- 00:00:33and you take up some speciality but you
- 00:00:34actually come into the practice by 10 to
- 00:00:3715 years down the line right so the
- 00:00:38specialities which are actually booming
- 00:00:40now might not be the ones which are
- 00:00:42actually booming or flourishing in
- 00:00:44future so for that you need to
- 00:00:45understand few uh basic uh uh Logistics
- 00:00:48which I'm going to explain here to
- 00:00:50understand which specialities are going
- 00:00:51to come up in future and in this
- 00:00:53presentation I'm going to name each
- 00:00:54speciality which is going to Boom in
- 00:00:56future and uh and I'll also explain the
- 00:00:58logic behind that okay for that you need
- 00:01:01to ex understand uh one basic um logic
- 00:01:06see uh you can see in the
- 00:01:09image see this is the graph I'm drawing
- 00:01:13so here if you see what's happening
- 00:01:15is see for example uh this is your
- 00:01:18career graph okay it will it will
- 00:01:20usually go like this so the first part
- 00:01:23will be your postgraduation that you
- 00:01:25would be doing and uh the next part
- 00:01:28would be your super speciality and then
- 00:01:31you gain a significant experience that
- 00:01:33will be 3 to 5 years of experience and
- 00:01:35then comes a point where you have around
- 00:01:388 to 10 years of experience and then you
- 00:01:41also uh you know have some age and
- 00:01:43wisdom along with you that is the point
- 00:01:45where you actually take up positions
- 00:01:47where you get crazy big salaries okay
- 00:01:50but uh if if it is so simple then
- 00:01:53everybody would be doing this right so
- 00:01:54there is another logic there is
- 00:01:56something called as a market graph the
- 00:01:58market graph goes like this and what
- 00:02:01happens in Market graph is certain
- 00:02:02specialities would be preferred by the
- 00:02:04healthcare industry that is basically uh
- 00:02:07decided by the factors which I'm going
- 00:02:09to tell you and so the factors which you
- 00:02:12know uh favor that uh would usually
- 00:02:16Drive the market gr that means certain
- 00:02:18specialities Market would favor okay and
- 00:02:21for uh if you're lucky and if you're in
- 00:02:23that speciality then what happens is the
- 00:02:25market graph and your career graph will
- 00:02:27intersect at one point so this is called
- 00:02:30as the intersection point if this
- 00:02:31happens in your particular career and uh
- 00:02:34then you your career will Skyrocket you
- 00:02:37will learn very big salaries I'm talking
- 00:02:39like 15 20 lakhs per month in that kind
- 00:02:41of salaries so only 0.1% of people can
- 00:02:45uh get into this intersection point for
- 00:02:47that see career graph is in your control
- 00:02:49because uh you know you can choose a
- 00:02:51career and you can work very hard
- 00:02:53dedication commitment discipline all
- 00:02:55these are mandatory and you would be
- 00:02:56growing at the same time Market graph is
- 00:02:58not in your control right so for that
- 00:03:00there are some factors which decide that
- 00:03:02in this video I'm going to tell you how
- 00:03:04the market is going to go in future so
- 00:03:06that you can position yourself in this
- 00:03:08particular slots so that maybe you can
- 00:03:12actually get that intersection point if
- 00:03:13you're lucky okay let us go
- 00:03:16into the present scenario uh and present
- 00:03:20scenario the specialities uh which are
- 00:03:23actually booming at present are the
- 00:03:25surgical specialities mainly the two
- 00:03:27super speciality sector like you know
- 00:03:30gastrosurgery neurosurgery and other
- 00:03:33surgical specialities are booming
- 00:03:34Orthopedics is booming and then
- 00:03:37Physicians particularly the
- 00:03:38cardiologists and um nefro and other
- 00:03:41specialities are also booming and
- 00:03:43pediatricians uh uh Pediatrics and women
- 00:03:46and child health sector is also booming
- 00:03:49and uh the lot of Pediatricians who own
- 00:03:52their own hospitals and even that those
- 00:03:55setups actually booming now and even
- 00:03:58opthalmologists uh to an extent are
- 00:04:00doing very good who have their own
- 00:04:02setups not people are working in
- 00:04:04hospitals and the general medicine guys
- 00:04:06who not done any speciality who have
- 00:04:08their own OPD and own Pharmacy setups
- 00:04:10are also doing very good even though
- 00:04:12you're not supposed to have your own
- 00:04:13Pharmacy uh according to nmc but what
- 00:04:15they usually do is they keep some barma
- 00:04:18guy to under his name they would be
- 00:04:20running uh so so these are the
- 00:04:22specialities at present are booming in
- 00:04:24India so what are the specialities which
- 00:04:26are going to Boom in future that is what
- 00:04:28you're interested right that is what you
- 00:04:29so watching this video also I'm going to
- 00:04:32tell you that without much dragging so
- 00:04:34I'm talking about about 10 ls per month
- 00:04:37at present but 20 2034 2044 if you take
- 00:04:40in those timelines I think 20 plus per
- 00:04:43month you can earn if you take up the
- 00:04:45specialities which I'm going to tell you
- 00:04:46now so for that what you need to
- 00:04:49understand is what is actually changing
- 00:04:51in future okay so why actually uh why am
- 00:04:54I doing this video so there is something
- 00:04:56changing from 2024 to 2034 and 2044 so
- 00:04:59what is that so the one uh important
- 00:05:02thing which governs the business sector
- 00:05:06or Healthcare sector any other sector is
- 00:05:08the demographics okay so let me try to
- 00:05:10explain you in a very simple way so what
- 00:05:12happens
- 00:05:15is see for example now the predominant
- 00:05:18population of India is lying in the
- 00:05:20range of younger population between 15
- 00:05:24to 30 years is the predominant
- 00:05:25population okay and above 60 years you
- 00:05:28can see only to 7% of the population is
- 00:05:32in the range of above 60 years okay so
- 00:05:36what is happening now is there are a lot
- 00:05:38of uh you know people in India who are
- 00:05:42in the younger generation so and between
- 00:05:46the age group of 35 to 60 so around 40
- 00:05:50to 50% of population is there so why are
- 00:05:55you talking about demographics and all
- 00:05:56Dr D so I'll tell you why because if you
- 00:06:00understand the demographics then what is
- 00:06:02happening is all the business sectors
- 00:06:04are linked to the population right so if
- 00:06:06people are there only then business will
- 00:06:07run now so if people are not there in
- 00:06:09that particular sector then what is the
- 00:06:11point of doing business in that
- 00:06:12particular sector now you need to
- 00:06:14understand the prediction okay of what
- 00:06:16is going to happen in the next 100 years
- 00:06:18and what happened in the last 100 years
- 00:06:20you can see in this particular
- 00:06:22image so what happened is uh see this is
- 00:06:25the time point where we are in around
- 00:06:272024 comes in this particular time Point
- 00:06:30okay so in the last decade or last two
- 00:06:33decades what happened in India or what
- 00:06:36happened in India's population
- 00:06:38demographics is that you can see the
- 00:06:40yellowish color what you're seeing is
- 00:06:42the children okay basically the age
- 00:06:44group between 0 to 20 okay and the uh
- 00:06:47blue color what you're seeing here is
- 00:06:49the middle-aged people and the pink
- 00:06:51color what you're seeing is the old
- 00:06:53people okay you understood now so now
- 00:06:55what happened is in the last decade
- 00:06:57there is a significant rise of Po in the
- 00:06:59younger generation and in the Pediatric
- 00:07:02uh age group so that is why there are a
- 00:07:04lot of mother and child centers lot of
- 00:07:06pediatric hospitals lot of women and
- 00:07:08child centers Cloud n motherhood and all
- 00:07:10these hospitals have come up and they uh
- 00:07:13flourished okay in because the reason is
- 00:07:16demographically the population has
- 00:07:18increased okay but now 2024 if you're
- 00:07:21mbbs student and watching this video you
- 00:07:23are actually doing a postgraduation now
- 00:07:25according to me by 2035 or 2040 your
- 00:07:28Peak that inter section point cograph
- 00:07:30point will come for you okay so then
- 00:07:32what happens is then you need to
- 00:07:34understand for example Pediatrics if you
- 00:07:37consider I calculated how many pediatric
- 00:07:39seats are there in India DCH 71 MD 416
- 00:07:42DNB 480 total nearly 950 to, seats of
- 00:07:46Pediatrics we have in this country
- 00:07:48thousand people so what happens now is
- 00:07:51the number of Pediatricians every year,
- 00:07:53pediatricians would be added per year so
- 00:07:56at any point of time 3,000 people will
- 00:07:58be studying Pediatrics okay so this
- 00:08:01th000 people will be adding for the next
- 00:08:0315 years to 20 years so 20 to 30,000
- 00:08:06pediatricians would be added to the
- 00:08:08present pediatri uh pediatrician load uh
- 00:08:12because some colleges also will increase
- 00:08:14now so these people are actually working
- 00:08:17on pediatric population which is
- 00:08:19declining okay you need to understand
- 00:08:21that so the Pediatric population is
- 00:08:23predicted to decline because you can see
- 00:08:25the graph right number of births are
- 00:08:26decreasing so what will happen is you
- 00:08:28are actually having having less number
- 00:08:30of pediatric people and more number of
- 00:08:32doctors so there is a demand Supply
- 00:08:34mismatch so that is what you need to
- 00:08:36understand so rather than that what I am
- 00:08:39suggesting is what I'm recommending is
- 00:08:42you see the graph here this graph is
- 00:08:44increasing by the time you peek there is
- 00:08:46something else peing better bet on this
- 00:08:49particular demographics so what are the
- 00:08:51demographics so the population of
- 00:08:54geriatrics is the percentage of
- 00:08:57population the geriatric age group is 6
- 00:08:59to 7% at present by by the time you
- 00:09:02actually come up into that career graph
- 00:09:03Point around 2040 it will be around 25
- 00:09:07to 30% so actually now millions and
- 00:09:10millions according to calculation I
- 00:09:12think around 200 million population will
- 00:09:14be in the geriatric age group so that is
- 00:09:16like around five to know six times of
- 00:09:19the present population okay so a big uh
- 00:09:22you know chunk of old people will be
- 00:09:24there in the country okay the second
- 00:09:26thing is the younger generation also a
- 00:09:29significant rise of people who are young
- 00:09:33and productive and earning good salaries
- 00:09:34because India is going to become the
- 00:09:35developed nation in another 5 to 10
- 00:09:37years so what happens is whenever a
- 00:09:38country develops when you have bulk of
- 00:09:40young people in age group between 20 to
- 00:09:4260 that's a very productive age group
- 00:09:44right so in that age group what happens
- 00:09:46is a significant number of people are
- 00:09:48there developed country and then lot of
- 00:09:50money will be there in those population
- 00:09:52and there are certain different types of
- 00:09:54diseases that they get which I'm going
- 00:09:55to tell you now okay so you need to
- 00:09:58focus on these two SE if you want to
- 00:10:00flourish in future by 2035 to 2040 so
- 00:10:04what are those sectors based on this
- 00:10:05calculation I'm going to tell you now
- 00:10:07okay so number one is uh geriatric
- 00:10:10medicine so geriatric medicine is a
- 00:10:12speciality where uh you know you do an
- 00:10:14MD in geriatrics so there are total at
- 00:10:17present I think very less seats are
- 00:10:18there may be in future as the demand
- 00:10:20increases the number of seats might go
- 00:10:21up in future but if you can do now you
- 00:10:23will be in demand in future because
- 00:10:25there only 40 48 MDS and two dmbs
- 00:10:27passing out every year that is like very
- 00:10:28less for a population of 140 to 145
- 00:10:31crores in India okay so geriatric
- 00:10:35medicine if you do now you will be a
- 00:10:36superstar in future so just because
- 00:10:39geriatric population is increasing
- 00:10:40doesn't mean that only geriatric
- 00:10:42medicine doctors will flourish they're
- 00:10:43Associated specialities also you have to
- 00:10:45understand that medicine is not simple
- 00:10:47it's very complex okay that is why
- 00:10:49you're watching this video so the
- 00:10:51diseases which are going to go up in
- 00:10:53future in geriatric age group the number
- 00:10:55one disease would be onos surgery
- 00:10:57oncology or cancer so basically now at
- 00:11:00present statistics are showing that 1.2
- 00:11:02million people in India have cancer and
- 00:11:04it is going at a rate of 12.5% to 133%
- 00:11:07in a year so by the time in future there
- 00:11:10are a lot of cancer patients and they
- 00:11:11need doctors to serve them so we need
- 00:11:14oncologist onco surgeons and radiation
- 00:11:17oncologists in a significant number the
- 00:11:19production will not be matching in
- 00:11:20future if you are becoming enco
- 00:11:22specialist now then there are very high
- 00:11:25chances that you will flourish in future
- 00:11:28okay uh then met Gastro and gastro
- 00:11:30surgery so as the age increases okay we
- 00:11:32talking about geriatrics right as age
- 00:11:34increases the constipations and you know
- 00:11:36the gut motility problems and the you
- 00:11:39know the cancers which come to the gut
- 00:11:42and uh you know many old people would be
- 00:11:44telling that I don't have enough you
- 00:11:46know we suffering with constipation so a
- 00:11:48lot of gastro problems will come so Med
- 00:11:50gastro will flourish a lot of endoscopy
- 00:11:52crcp procedures and all that will go up
- 00:11:54in future and gastro surgery also if Med
- 00:11:57gastro is inre improving then obviously
- 00:12:00gastro surgery also will improve if you
- 00:12:02can do MCH in gastr surgery or drnb in
- 00:12:04gastro surgery then you are in a sweet
- 00:12:06spot
- 00:12:07now and sorry spelling mistake is that
- 00:12:10Urology and nephology so Urology and
- 00:12:12nephology would flourish because the
- 00:12:14prostrate problem is very common in
- 00:12:16elderly as the number increases the
- 00:12:17number of prostrate problems will
- 00:12:18increase first they'll go to urologist
- 00:12:20and then he will refer to nephologist
- 00:12:22and lot of surgeries will happen lot of
- 00:12:24renal transplants also will happen in
- 00:12:25future because the CKD as age increases
- 00:12:27kidney will go into problem because of
- 00:12:29hypertension and diabetes right the CKD
- 00:12:31so CKD patients will R renal transplant
- 00:12:34and a lot of renal transplants are done
- 00:12:36by nephologist and then obviously they
- 00:12:37will only do and nephologist will be in
- 00:12:40demand in future Cardiology and cardiac
- 00:12:42surgery obviously as age increases what
- 00:12:44diseases increase heart attacks my God
- 00:12:46infections so you need cardiologist so
- 00:12:49the cardiologist the number of
- 00:12:51cardiologist will be required five to 10
- 00:12:54times of what is who are like existing
- 00:12:56at present in India and cardiac surgery
- 00:12:58also will increase between that uh if
- 00:13:01you want me to choose Cardiology would
- 00:13:03be better because a lot of procedures
- 00:13:05are being done by cardiologist now
- 00:13:06including iotic Val procedures and all
- 00:13:08that nowadays T and all that is
- 00:13:10increasing so but cardiac surgery also
- 00:13:13has a role and it is not that every
- 00:13:15procedure can be done by cardiologist
- 00:13:16you need cardiac surgeons also but more
- 00:13:18of cardiologist and midle L of cardiac
- 00:13:20surgeons maybe would make a very good
- 00:13:22combination if you're planning to
- 00:13:24position yourself in the heart
- 00:13:26sector neuro and spine surgery these are
- 00:13:28special where I am there in you all must
- 00:13:30be knowing I'm a neuro anesthesiologist
- 00:13:32I this is like my my field and uh I see
- 00:13:36more than brain incidence of diseases in
- 00:13:38the brain I see a lot of increase in
- 00:13:40spine because what happens is uh
- 00:13:43recently a study has been done in
- 00:13:44Japanese population what they did is
- 00:13:46they did cervical MRI in age group above
- 00:13:4860 years and what they found is more
- 00:13:50more than 90% of people are having
- 00:13:52cervical disease after 60 years of age
- 00:13:54okay that's in Japanese population we
- 00:13:56can't directly correlate with Indian
- 00:13:57sector but roughly studies of India are
- 00:14:00showing that 25 to 30% of people are
- 00:14:01having spine issues now so if you can
- 00:14:04position yourself in neuros surgeon
- 00:14:06doing spine surgery or orthopedic
- 00:14:08surgeon doing spine surgery you are in
- 00:14:09The Sweet Spot so if you dedicate
- 00:14:12yourself exclusive to neuro also you'll
- 00:14:14have a good possibility in future but uh
- 00:14:17the numbers I don't think will be uh
- 00:14:20that much to kind of specialities which
- 00:14:22I'm talking here okay so if you're if
- 00:14:25you want to position yourself spine
- 00:14:26surgery would be a good bet
- 00:14:29geriatric Psychiatry if you're a
- 00:14:31psychiatrist and then you need to Super
- 00:14:33specialize in geriatric Psychiatry there
- 00:14:35are DMS and fellowships in different
- 00:14:37countries available in geriatric
- 00:14:38Psychiatry so what happens is when age
- 00:14:40increases the dementia problems alimer
- 00:14:43Parkinson and lot of problems happen and
- 00:14:45so that needs a specialist in Psychiatry
- 00:14:48so not every psychiatrist can deal
- 00:14:50geriatric patient so you position
- 00:14:52yourself as a geriatric psychiatrist
- 00:14:54okay that would uh make you very famous
- 00:14:57in future join replacement surgeons
- 00:15:00already joint replacement surgeons are
- 00:15:02there so many are there in India and
- 00:15:04there are lot of cases happening but the
- 00:15:06cases the number of joint replacement
- 00:15:07surgeries will become 10 times in future
- 00:15:09that's because the number is increasing
- 00:15:10here because the number is increasing in
- 00:15:12future everyone's joints will get
- 00:15:14affected so you need join replacement
- 00:15:15surgeons and mostly robotic would be
- 00:15:18coming even now many centers the few
- 00:15:20centers doing robotic surgeries in India
- 00:15:22in future a lot of robotic joint
- 00:15:24replacement surgeons would be required
- 00:15:26and uh everyone will have a very good
- 00:15:28future
- 00:15:30pulmonology and Interventional
- 00:15:31pulmonology will have a very good scope
- 00:15:33because the lot of copds and bronal Asma
- 00:15:36and air pollution is increasing and age
- 00:15:38geriatric population is increasing so
- 00:15:40that is like a very fertile ground for
- 00:15:42organisms to grow leading to CR copds
- 00:15:46and all that in future so we need a lot
- 00:15:48of pulmonologists in future and the
- 00:15:50covid times we understood what is the
- 00:15:51importance of having a very good
- 00:15:53pulmonologist right and uh
- 00:15:55Interventional pulmonology is also
- 00:15:57picking up now even that is a very good
- 00:15:59area you can actually do pinology and
- 00:16:00practice intervention pinology also
- 00:16:01along with that that's a good
- 00:16:03combination Rheumatology and
- 00:16:05endocrinology are two separate
- 00:16:06specialities but I clubbed because you
- 00:16:08know Rheumatology is more like you know
- 00:16:11osteoarthritis and R arthritis to the
- 00:16:13joints and and all that those diseases
- 00:16:16also will go up in future Endocrinology
- 00:16:18particularly related to the pancreas
- 00:16:20diabetes mes cases will go up so now lot
- 00:16:22of people are doing for know small
- 00:16:24courses in diabetology and practicing
- 00:16:25but in future what happens is 10 15
- 00:16:27years down the line DM and Endocrinology
- 00:16:29would become mandatory by hospitals
- 00:16:30because the insurance insurance
- 00:16:31penetration is increasing right so what
- 00:16:33happens is Insurance penetration when it
- 00:16:35increas insurance companies will govern
- 00:16:37the degrees of the doctors like what's
- 00:16:39happening in USA now they will keep a
- 00:16:41minimum criteria that DM and
- 00:16:42endocrinology is required to treat
- 00:16:43diabetes patients then all the
- 00:16:45fellowships and all what are you doing
- 00:16:46now this one month two month fellowships
- 00:16:48might not suffice in future so
- 00:16:50understand that if you're doing
- 00:16:52Endocrinology you would be in The Sweet
- 00:16:54Spot anesthesia and intensive care I am
- 00:16:56anesthesiologist if I'm not talking
- 00:16:58about anesthesia then it doesn't make
- 00:16:59sense I know many of my followers are
- 00:17:01waiting for this what I'll tell about
- 00:17:03anesthesia so you need to understand
- 00:17:05that if every speciality is growing all
- 00:17:07these specialities require anesthesia
- 00:17:08right which without that they can't
- 00:17:09operate so the as the number of
- 00:17:12procedures increase number of an people
- 00:17:15will require anesthesia even for
- 00:17:16Endoscopy now they're asking anesthesia
- 00:17:18previously it was done under local but
- 00:17:20now under anesthesia everyone wants
- 00:17:22Comfort now because the pain threshold
- 00:17:24has come down patients tolerance has
- 00:17:25come down so all these factors are
- 00:17:27favoring anesthesiologist because lot of
- 00:17:29procedures will increase if you can
- 00:17:31position yourself in any of these super
- 00:17:33specialities like neuro if you're
- 00:17:35positioning then spine surgery if you're
- 00:17:36cardiac anesthetic then cardiac cath lab
- 00:17:39you can take care for all the
- 00:17:40interventions of cardiac and cardiac
- 00:17:42critical care you can manage and then if
- 00:17:43you're positioning yourself in you know
- 00:17:46uh transplant I'm going to come next
- 00:17:47transplant anestis also will have a very
- 00:17:49good future an anestis will have a good
- 00:17:51future if you're managing ano ICU only
- 00:17:53Ana anesthesia if you want to project
- 00:17:56then it will become a problem because
- 00:17:57what happens is many General also can
- 00:17:59manage enko anesthesia so you try to
- 00:18:02manage enko intens care that gives an
- 00:18:05extra Edge for you even though there is
- 00:18:07a lot of expertise required in anco
- 00:18:08anesthesia everybody wouldn't understand
- 00:18:10that much so you have to project that
- 00:18:12you're managing anco intensive care
- 00:18:14along with an anesthesia in that way you
- 00:18:16can explain to the hospital management
- 00:18:17and surgeons that you know uh you're
- 00:18:20covering a bigger Zone okay Radiology is
- 00:18:24uh like anesthesia only if all the
- 00:18:26specialities are going up Radiology also
- 00:18:28will go up particularly focus on
- 00:18:29Intervention Radiology because the
- 00:18:31number of intervention Radiology are
- 00:18:33very Less in India for the population of
- 00:18:34145 CR there are very few people now so
- 00:18:36whoever does now will be a superstar in
- 00:18:39future nuclear medicine will be required
- 00:18:42in future in bigger numbers a lot of
- 00:18:43centers are coming up so nuclear
- 00:18:45medicine is a speciality which deals
- 00:18:46with all these radio isotopes they
- 00:18:48inject into your body and they do scans
- 00:18:50in the body pet scans spec scan and all
- 00:18:51that so identify how the tumor spread is
- 00:18:53there in the body not only that cardiac
- 00:18:55imaging also is coming up now for
- 00:18:57example if I have a doubt that some one
- 00:18:59of some of my patients whether they
- 00:19:01toilet general anesthesia or not I send
- 00:19:03for cardiac M now not cardiac mated
- 00:19:06cardiac scanning on with radio isotop so
- 00:19:08that we understand the coronary
- 00:19:10perfusion and cardiac imaging so this in
- 00:19:12this way the number of scans and
- 00:19:14everything will increase in future when
- 00:19:16the when the know geriatric population
- 00:19:19is increasing so if you can position
- 00:19:21yourself in nuclear medicine also is a
- 00:19:23good uh opportunity for
- 00:19:25you next is opaly so geriatric
- 00:19:29when aged people are there what problems
- 00:19:31they get cataract cataract so when so
- 00:19:34the when the number of old people are
- 00:19:36increasing number of CCT surgeries also
- 00:19:38obviously will increase so try to have
- 00:19:39your own setups rather than operate and
- 00:19:41working somewhere so I've seen many
- 00:19:43people who have the own setups will make
- 00:19:45very good amount of
- 00:19:47money Rehabilitation paliative medicine
- 00:19:49is another area so you can do MD in P or
- 00:19:53Rehabilitation medicine and you need to
- 00:19:55collaborate with the corporate hospital
- 00:19:56or you can make your own setup and and
- 00:19:58all the old people will require palea
- 00:20:00Care and rehabil Rehabilitation care so
- 00:20:03this is what the speciality which I need
- 00:20:05to actually show in the beginning but I
- 00:20:07kept in the end but in the order if you
- 00:20:09wanted to place me I would place this in
- 00:20:12the beginning actually after geriatric
- 00:20:13medicine the Pali and Rehabilitation
- 00:20:15medicine demand is going to go up in
- 00:20:17future so don't think that it's more
- 00:20:20like a physiotherapist kind of a job it
- 00:20:21is totally different because I work
- 00:20:23closely with you know specialist like Dr
- 00:20:26Mahar and who is a who is working in big
- 00:20:29corporate Hospital in Bangalore after
- 00:20:31working with him I understood what
- 00:20:33actually Rehabilitation medicine is so
- 00:20:35it is a very good speciality and even
- 00:20:37robots are coming what you're seeing in
- 00:20:38the image is a robot so robotic
- 00:20:41Rehabilitation will take up in future
- 00:20:43and we need many many many paliative and
- 00:20:45rehabilitation centers I I I'm even
- 00:20:48doing a video on senior citizen fa
- 00:20:50facility and paliative and
- 00:20:51Rehabilitation care facilities a
- 00:20:53business model I'm going to explain if
- 00:20:55somebody wants to make a franchise model
- 00:20:56a very good scope is there you can make
- 00:20:58make 50 to 60 lakhs per month actually
- 00:21:00with that model if you can make multiple
- 00:21:02franchises in different parts of India
- 00:21:04okay I'm going to do that it will come
- 00:21:05in few
- 00:21:07weeks transplantation is going to go up
- 00:21:10in future because as the age increases
- 00:21:12liver will get affected and uh lot of
- 00:21:15liver diseases are going to go up so
- 00:21:17transplantation awareness is increasing
- 00:21:18organ donation a awareness is increasing
- 00:21:20even I am seeing a lot of patients and
- 00:21:22family members are actually asking for
- 00:21:24orgon donation nowadays and also the uh
- 00:21:28you know if when I tried to take driving
- 00:21:30license recently there is a column
- 00:21:31coming you want to donate your organs so
- 00:21:33what they do is in lot of government
- 00:21:35portals they'll insert that button
- 00:21:36anyway after a day what happens to I'm
- 00:21:38not bothered what is really happening to
- 00:21:40my organs after a day I'll just click on
- 00:21:42that what's going to happen so all these
- 00:21:43people when you click on that will go to
- 00:21:45organ transplant without any permission
- 00:21:47from their relatives actually I think so
- 00:21:49that is how it will be so basically when
- 00:21:51you click on see since I clicked on that
- 00:21:53button when I'm taking the driving
- 00:21:55license now something happens to me
- 00:21:57organs will directly go
- 00:21:59so lot of transplantation centers will
- 00:22:01go up in future so transplantation means
- 00:22:03that transplant surgeons transplant
- 00:22:04anesthetist and uh you know the neph the
- 00:22:07nephologist working on transplant and
- 00:22:10hepatologist working on transplant
- 00:22:11everyone will get you know uh everyone
- 00:22:13will flourish in future so try to get
- 00:22:15into this sectors so uh family medicine
- 00:22:19is another area because Family Medicine
- 00:22:21when you're doing you know there are
- 00:22:23geriatric patients and everyone is there
- 00:22:27so when a lot of geriatric patients are
- 00:22:29increasing in homes what will happen is
- 00:22:31so most of the times the working
- 00:22:33population in future might collaborate
- 00:22:34with Family Medicine people and they
- 00:22:36will tell see when we are working if
- 00:22:38something happens to my father or mother
- 00:22:40please take care of them they're in my
- 00:22:42home rather than sending my parents to
- 00:22:43some old age home or some facility I'll
- 00:22:47keep my parents in my home and then I
- 00:22:50will collaborate with the family
- 00:22:51medicine doctor and I'll tell him if
- 00:22:52something happens please take care okay
- 00:22:54small small complaints will be there
- 00:22:55right so in that way if somebody can
- 00:22:57work going to their home homes and all
- 00:22:59in future so service sector right
- 00:23:00medicine is service sector don't have
- 00:23:02any ego don't sit in a place go to
- 00:23:04people okay like politicians how they're
- 00:23:05going to people for words you need to go
- 00:23:07to people and serve only then he will uh
- 00:23:10uh improve in
- 00:23:12future so this is about the gri right
- 00:23:15but the second another graph I have
- 00:23:16shown if you remember lot of young
- 00:23:18people are increasing who are affordable
- 00:23:20and who are making a lot of money so
- 00:23:23when there are a lot of young people and
- 00:23:24then there are a lot of money with them
- 00:23:28the different set of problemss which
- 00:23:30will happen to them which I'm going to
- 00:23:31tell you now so the problems are sports
- 00:23:34injuries so when you fit and have money
- 00:23:36what do you do you want to improve your
- 00:23:38Fitness right immediately you'll start
- 00:23:39working on some kind of martial art
- 00:23:41training or some shuttle tennis or
- 00:23:44squash or something you try to do or
- 00:23:47Zumba or something you'll develop some
- 00:23:48sport injury or you'll go to Cricket
- 00:23:50nuts and develop a shoulder injury so if
- 00:23:52you're mastering if you're orthopedician
- 00:23:54or some radiologist is getting into
- 00:23:56sport injury uh division then you are
- 00:23:59going to flourish in future a lot of
- 00:24:00patients are going to come because
- 00:24:02everyone will go into fitness develop
- 00:24:03injury come to you again go into fitness
- 00:24:05this cycle they would be doing and so
- 00:24:08all these young guys would buy all fast
- 00:24:10cars right in future Ferraris and all
- 00:24:12become will become very common in India
- 00:24:14they going high rocket speed accidents
- 00:24:17emergency medicine trauma anesthesia
- 00:24:19trauma surgery will pick up in future
- 00:24:21okay particularly if you're planning to
- 00:24:22set up a Trauma Center in a highway then
- 00:24:25uh that's that is the area which is
- 00:24:28going to boom in future because you see
- 00:24:30the fast cars and fast bikes that
- 00:24:32culture will build up in future and
- 00:24:34addiction medicine in Psychiatry is a
- 00:24:36super speciality uh when I studying in
- 00:24:38man even DM is there in that so what
- 00:24:40happens is this addiction uh when you
- 00:24:42have money and free time you'll go you
- 00:24:45so the drug addiction and all these
- 00:24:47addictions and all these things will
- 00:24:48increase in future so Place yourself in
- 00:24:50addiction medicine and sure sh you'll do
- 00:24:53a very good job in future so when you
- 00:24:56have money and the
- 00:24:59what do you want to you want to look
- 00:25:00good right so cosmetic surgery also will
- 00:25:02pick up in future and then bariatric
- 00:25:04surgery also will pick up because I've
- 00:25:06seen most of the people like couch
- 00:25:08potatoes sit on the sofa watch Netflix
- 00:25:10sit watch Netflix so then they put on
- 00:25:13lot of weight and bariatric surgery
- 00:25:15surgeons also are required in future try
- 00:25:18to position there and sleep medicine so
- 00:25:21sleep is another issue that uh young
- 00:25:23people get when because of bad habits
- 00:25:25because of the stress that they have
- 00:25:27because of the irregular lifestyle and
- 00:25:30you know sleep medicine also will pick
- 00:25:31up in future that can be done after
- 00:25:33pinology as a super speciality you can
- 00:25:35check out my pinology video in that
- 00:25:36explain where all you can do sleep
- 00:25:38medicine andrology and andrology is like
- 00:25:41men's sexual problems so men will
- 00:25:43develop a lot of sexual problems in
- 00:25:45future due to stress and pollution and
- 00:25:47other factors so if somebody some
- 00:25:49urologists or some psychiatrists or many
- 00:25:52people can enter andrology if they're
- 00:25:53positioning themselves there even I
- 00:25:55think MD also is there in andrology so
- 00:25:57if you can position yourself there
- 00:25:58you'll flourish in future but little bit
- 00:26:00of social media and all that you have to
- 00:26:02use if you're going into andology
- 00:26:04infertility is booming now it will boom
- 00:26:06in future also because a lot of people
- 00:26:08women will develop infertility problems
- 00:26:10because of all the factors which I told
- 00:26:11now stress pollution and all that so
- 00:26:14infertility medicine will flourish in
- 00:26:16future even though the number of uh uh
- 00:26:20know children being born will decrease
- 00:26:22infertility will increase because so
- 00:26:24people will start marrying at an older
- 00:26:26age now so when you have money divorce
- 00:26:28again get married in 40s again try you
- 00:26:30don't get children again what happens is
- 00:26:32go to infertil specialist get all these
- 00:26:34kind of things will increase in future
- 00:26:36so that is the uh so these are the
- 00:26:39specialities and areas you need to
- 00:26:41position yourself in and then you will
- 00:26:43meet the intersection point which I
- 00:26:45explained so to finish the presentation
- 00:26:48don't do what's trending now rather than
- 00:26:50do what will be trending in future that
- 00:26:51is what I try to explain I think this
- 00:26:54video every mbbs student should watch in
- 00:26:56India before planning your need
- 00:26:58counselings and all that because uh this
- 00:27:01will tell you where to position yourself
- 00:27:02in future right so I I request all of
- 00:27:05you guys to share this video so that you
- 00:27:07know it will change futures of hundreds
- 00:27:11of thousand thousands of people
- 00:27:12thousands of doctors maybe in future and
- 00:27:15uh so the agenda behind this channel
- 00:27:17I'll tell you I want all of you guys to
- 00:27:20earn good money good salaries and
- 00:27:21protect your families and uh to I'm just
- 00:27:25that's why I don't want you to be
- 00:27:27positioned in situation where there is
- 00:27:28no demand okay that is why I did this
- 00:27:31video and that is the agenda behind the
- 00:27:33channel and I request you to join my
- 00:27:35channel because there are some videos
