The Science of Miracles - Gregg Braden
Summary
TLDRThe video delves into the interconnected nature of the universe as suggested by both ancient texts and current scientific research. It introduces the idea of a subtle energy field that connects everything and is responsive to human emotion and consciousness. Western scientists recognize this field as the web or net forming the fabric of all creation. This field is capable of responding to human feelingsโa principle highlighted through several scientific experiments involving DNA and emotion. For instance, emotions have been shown to alter the physical reality at the molecular level, bringing healing or harmony. The video further explores how ancient spiritual traditions intuitively understood and described such phenomena using their own languages and practices. It posits that our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs shape the reality we observe. Modern scientific experiments, such as those done by Vladimir Poponin, have begun to provide empirical support for these ideas. Moreover, the concept of a 'participatory universe,' as proposed by physicist John Wheeler, and experiments demonstrating non-local effects of emotions on DNA reflect a universe that mirrors our innermost states. Techniques such as feeling-based prayer are presented as ways individuals can consciously interact with this universal field to bring about desired changes. The video's overarching message emphasizes that our internal state and emotions can influence reality, suggesting that we should harness these to foster positivity, healing, and global peace.

Timeline
- 00:00:00 - 00:05:00
Ancient texts and spiritual traditions allude to a universal connection between everything. A subtle energy field described by scientists as a 'web' forms the fabric of creation. It responds to human emotion, implying that our feelings convey messages to this field, influencing reality in return.
- 00:05:00 - 00:10:00
Science and spirituality converge as evidence grows supporting the idea that human experiences and the universe are interconnected. Our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs are reflected back by the universe, suggesting a participatory creation where reality is shaped by our consciousness.
- 00:10:00 - 00:15:00
The participatory universe concept suggests that observation impacts creation, both on the quantum level and in broad cosmic expanses. Experiments from the late 20th century show ancient wisdom aligns closely with scientific discoveries, indicating humanity's potential to influence reality through collective consciousness.
- 00:15:00 - 00:20:00
Experiments validate how DNA interacts with energetic fields and influences reality. The 'Phantom DNA' experiment shows photons influenced and retained alignment with DNA, suggesting our biological codes directly affect the external world. This supports ideas from various spiritual traditions about our inner power.
- 00:20:00 - 00:25:00
A military experiment demonstrated emotional linkage between a person's DNA and their emotions even across distances, suggesting that our emotions can influence matter non-locally, challenging classical physics. This indicates consciousness's power to affect and connect at a distance.
- 00:25:00 - 00:30:00
The Heart Math Institute explored how human emotions affect DNA and created fields. Positive emotions like appreciation and love relaxed DNA, enhancing the immune response, while negative ones caused constriction. These findings suggest emotion has a tangible, biological impact, aligning with spiritual teachings.
- 00:30:00 - 00:35:00
Understanding feelings involves emotions and thoughts; feelings reside in the heart and communicate with the world. The heart acts as a powerful field generator. Scientists debate the terminology, but agree on its function as a web connecting all, with human feeling as the language influencing the universal field.
- 00:35:00 - 00:40:00
Prayer as feeling rather than words is explored, observing how certain traditions cultivate feelings aligned with desired outcomes. Ancient instructions blend with modern insights, suggesting collective feelings can manifest change, such as peace or healing, reflecting these emotions back to experience reality.
- 00:40:00 - 00:45:00
Studies show coordinated group emotions can statistically influence reality, reducing violence and conflicts, like the Middle East peace project. This suggests a collective consciousness linked through a field, where a minimal number of people feeling peace can broadcast that experience globally.
- 00:45:00 - 00:50:00
Footage of spontaneous healing using feeling-based prayer in a medical setting demonstrates the mind-body effect. Practitioners' feelings directly influenced physical reality, embodying a connection between consciousness and external changes, affirming ancient beliefs.
- 00:50:00 - 00:59:08
The holographic principle hints at all-encompassing consciousness where small acts reflect universal change. Understanding that we are integral parts of this field empowers individuals to embrace feelings as a mode of prayer, suggesting internal state fosters external reality.

Video Q&A
How do feelings influence prayer according to the video?
Feelings are the language that communicates with the universe and influences the outcomes.
How do human emotions connect DNA over distances according to the experiments mentioned?
Through human emotions that exist without regard to physical distances.
What is the field of energy that connects all things according to the video?
An intelligent energy field described as a web or net that links everything.
Why are these concepts not widely recognized today?
Because these methods of influencing reality have been misunderstood and lost over time due to historical events such as the burning of the Library of Alexandria and edits to biblical texts.
What specific example is given of using feeling-based prayer to heal?
A process in a Chinese medical hospital where practitioners focused feelings of health towards the patient.
What does physicist John Wheeler's 'participatory universe' concept suggest?
The universe is participatory, created by the consciousness and emotions of living beings.
What is the phantom DNA effect?
An emotional influence transmitted directly through an unrecognized field of energy.
What type of prayer is described as more effective in the video?
Feeling-based or heart-centered prayer, where one feels the result they want to achieve as if it has already happened.

- 00:00:09almost universally ancient texts and
- 00:00:11spiritual Traditions suggest that
- 00:00:13everything in our world is connected in
- 00:00:15ways perhaps are only beginning to
- 00:00:17understand
- 00:00:18this field of energy this subtle field
- 00:00:20of energy is in fact described by
- 00:00:22Western scientists as a net or a web
- 00:00:25that creates what they call the
- 00:00:27underlying fabric of all creation
- 00:00:30this field of energy has been here from
- 00:00:32the very beginning it is an intelligent
- 00:00:35field
- 00:00:36an intelligence that responds deeply to
- 00:00:39human emotion
- 00:00:43we must feel the feeling as if the
- 00:00:46prayer has already been answered
- 00:00:48in that feeling
- 00:00:50we are speaking to the forces of
- 00:00:52creation allowing the world to respond
- 00:00:55to us allowing this field the quantum
- 00:00:58hologram the mind of God to respond to
- 00:01:00us with what it is that we are feeling
- 00:01:02within our hearts
- 00:01:09[Music]
- 00:01:27hmm
- 00:01:30what would it mean if we discovered that
- 00:01:32each moment of Our Lives
- 00:01:34is part of a conversation an ongoing
- 00:01:37dialogue with the universe around us
- 00:01:39what if everything that happens in our
- 00:01:41lives from the healing in our bodies to
- 00:01:43the Peace of our world
- 00:01:44to our marriages our families our
- 00:01:47romances our divorces all the things
- 00:01:49that we see as life in each moment of
- 00:01:51every day what if they're a reflection
- 00:01:53of this intelligence this field of
- 00:01:56energy that the Ancients described in
- 00:01:58their language and now that Western
- 00:01:59science is beginning to describe in the
- 00:02:01language that we recognize
- 00:02:03or growing body of scientific evidence
- 00:02:05suggests this is precisely the way that
- 00:02:08our world works that the world in
- 00:02:10essence is nothing more and nothing less
- 00:02:12than a reflection of what we have become
- 00:02:15from within our thoughts feelings
- 00:02:16emotions our beliefs our prayers
- 00:02:18Princeton University physicist John
- 00:02:21Wheeler suggests precisely this concept
- 00:02:24in an interview recently what he said
- 00:02:27was that we live in what he calls a
- 00:02:29participatory Universe rather than
- 00:02:32thinking of the universe as something
- 00:02:33that's already created and that we're
- 00:02:35plopped down in the middle of it having
- 00:02:36these experiences what Dr Wheeler is
- 00:02:39suggesting is that the universe is a
- 00:02:42result of what we are doing in our lives
- 00:02:45he says we're tiny patches of the
- 00:02:47universe looking at itself and creating
- 00:02:49itself along the way this is a radical
- 00:02:53concept because it suggests that when we
- 00:02:55look into the world of the quantum atom
- 00:02:57for that most minute ultimate particle
- 00:03:00we may never find it because every time
- 00:03:02we look the act of looking is
- 00:03:05consciousness placing creating building
- 00:03:07something there for us to see and when
- 00:03:09we look into the expanses the vast
- 00:03:11expanses of our universe searching for
- 00:03:13the very edge of what we call creation
- 00:03:15we may never find it because the act of
- 00:03:17Consciousness searching is the creative
- 00:03:20force that puts something in place a
- 00:03:22growing body scientific evidence
- 00:03:25suggests this is precisely the way our
- 00:03:27world works and what we'll find is we
- 00:03:30discover through the the experiments
- 00:03:33that have been done recently in the 20th
- 00:03:35century is that the Ancients may have
- 00:03:38been very very close in fact to
- 00:03:40describing precisely the way our world
- 00:03:42works in the language of another time
- 00:03:45between 1993 and the year 2000 a series
- 00:03:48of experiments were conducted in
- 00:03:51accredited scientific and academic
- 00:03:53institutions that are now supporting
- 00:03:56precisely the concepts that the Ancients
- 00:03:58so clearly spelled out in the language
- 00:03:59of their time
- 00:04:01three of these representative
- 00:04:03experiments are absolutely shaking the
- 00:04:05foundation of everything we now believe
- 00:04:07about physics and the way our world
- 00:04:09works and are in fact suggesting that we
- 00:04:12are connected through this field of
- 00:04:13energy
- 00:04:14the idea that there may be an
- 00:04:18all-permeating Essence that connects
- 00:04:21everything is really not so new even in
- 00:04:23the world of science the late 1800s
- 00:04:25there was this tremendous spiritual
- 00:04:27Revolution that was sweeping the Earth
- 00:04:29and at that time there was a great
- 00:04:31debate as to whether or not this field
- 00:04:33actually exists and during that time it
- 00:04:35was called The Ether field in 1887 a
- 00:04:38very famous experiment was conducted to
- 00:04:41demonstrate once and for all does this
- 00:04:42field exist or does it not exist and
- 00:04:45based on the results of that experiment
- 00:04:46Western science specifically Western
- 00:04:49physics has believed that everything
- 00:04:52that happens in our world is discrete
- 00:04:55non-related isolated things that appear
- 00:04:58to be happening in the same incident in
- 00:05:00time are simply coincidence a very
- 00:05:02famous Michelson Morley experiment the
- 00:05:05equivalent of the experiment is if if
- 00:05:07you were to go outside of the building
- 00:05:08where you are right now and moisten your
- 00:05:11finger and place it in the air above
- 00:05:12your head
- 00:05:13and in that moment you felt no wind
- 00:05:16against your finger and from that
- 00:05:19concluded that no error exists around
- 00:05:21you that's the equivalent of this
- 00:05:24Michelson Morley experiment they believe
- 00:05:26that if this field actually exists it
- 00:05:27must be moving
- 00:05:29and when they tested for movement they
- 00:05:31found none and from that concluded that
- 00:05:33the field doesn't exist from 1887 until
- 00:05:36the early 1990s all of Western science
- 00:05:39was based in the principle that what
- 00:05:41happens in one place has absolutely no
- 00:05:43effect on what happened somewhere else
- 00:05:44and now we know that this is absolutely
- 00:05:46not true
- 00:05:47so I'd like to share with you three
- 00:05:49experiments that are absolutely shaking
- 00:05:51the foundation of Western physics the
- 00:05:52first
- 00:05:54was conducted by a Russian physicist
- 00:05:56Vladimir popenine in the early 1990s he
- 00:06:00came to United States to finish this
- 00:06:02series of experiments and what popeon
- 00:06:05did was he wanted to investigate the
- 00:06:07relationship between human DNA
- 00:06:09and the stuff our world is made out of
- 00:06:12little packets of energy that we call
- 00:06:14photons little particles of light if you
- 00:06:16want to think of them that way
- 00:06:17so the experiment consisted of taking a
- 00:06:20tube a glass tube drawing all the air
- 00:06:23out of this tube creating what today we
- 00:06:25call a vacuum implying that there's
- 00:06:27nothing left in this tube however we
- 00:06:29know that there's still something left
- 00:06:31these these little particles of light
- 00:06:33so Pope and then measured the particles
- 00:06:35to see how they were distributed they
- 00:06:37fly all over the place inside the tube
- 00:06:39or where they all accumulated at the
- 00:06:40bottom or what happened with them and
- 00:06:42the results of this part of the
- 00:06:43experiment were not surprising because
- 00:06:45the the little particles of light the
- 00:06:47photons were completely random and this
- 00:06:48is what they expected the next part of
- 00:06:50the experiment is where this gets really
- 00:06:52really interesting because they Place
- 00:06:54some human DNA into this tube and the
- 00:06:58human DNA when they re-measured the
- 00:07:01photons the human DNA had caused the
- 00:07:04photons to form an alignment the DNA was
- 00:07:06having a direct effect on the stuff our
- 00:07:09world is made of now this is precisely
- 00:07:12what ancient spiritual Traditions have
- 00:07:13always said it's something within us has
- 00:07:16an effect in the world around us and
- 00:07:18poponin's experiment for the first time
- 00:07:19in recent times is actually verifying
- 00:07:22this under laboratory conditions and the
- 00:07:25next piece of the experiment is even
- 00:07:26more interesting because what they found
- 00:07:28was that when the DNA was removed from
- 00:07:30the tube we would expect that they would
- 00:07:33all go back randomly distributed just
- 00:07:35the way they were before and this is not
- 00:07:36what happened what happened was even
- 00:07:38though the DNA was no longer in the tube
- 00:07:41the photons remained aligned as if the
- 00:07:44DNA were still there and the question is
- 00:07:46why what is it that causes this effect
- 00:07:49there's nothing in Western physics that
- 00:07:51accounts for why those photons should
- 00:07:54remain in the position that they were in
- 00:07:56when the DNA that caused them to become
- 00:07:59aligned is now removed from the tube
- 00:08:01this experiment is called the Phantom
- 00:08:03DNA experiment because because the
- 00:08:05effects last where the DNA is there or
- 00:08:07not what it tells us is number one is
- 00:08:09that DNA is communicating human DNA is
- 00:08:12communicating with the stuff our world
- 00:08:15is made of the packets of energy that
- 00:08:17that underlie all of matter it's
- 00:08:19communicating through a field that has
- 00:08:21previously been unrecognized the
- 00:08:24scientists call it a new field my sense
- 00:08:26is it's probably been there all along
- 00:08:27and we simply didn't recognize it so
- 00:08:29we'll call this a previously
- 00:08:31unrecognized form of energy
- 00:08:33the second experiment is a fascinating
- 00:08:35experiment it's a military experiment
- 00:08:37and what they did in essence was they
- 00:08:39took some human DNA some scrapings from
- 00:08:42the tissue of inside the mouth of a
- 00:08:44donor or volunteer and they place this
- 00:08:48DNA in a device that could measure its
- 00:08:51effects in one room of a building while
- 00:08:54the donor that the DNA came from is in
- 00:08:57another room in the same building so
- 00:09:00living DNA from one person the DNA is in
- 00:09:02one place the volunteer is another place
- 00:09:04and what they did was they subjected the
- 00:09:07volunteer to what they called emotional
- 00:09:10stimulation that would elicit genuine
- 00:09:13responses of emotion of Joy or sadness
- 00:09:16or fear or anger or rage in one part of
- 00:09:19the building and they were measuring the
- 00:09:21DNA to see if the DNA would affect to
- 00:09:24the donor's emotions
- 00:09:26now why would it in western physics
- 00:09:28today there's absolutely nothing that
- 00:09:30suggests that that DNA is still linked
- 00:09:32to the donor on the one hand and on the
- 00:09:35other hand as they conducted these
- 00:09:36experiments what they found was just the
- 00:09:38opposite what they found was that when
- 00:09:40the donor was having his emotional Peaks
- 00:09:43and valleys in one room the DNA was
- 00:09:46having its emotional Peaks and valleys
- 00:09:48in another room at exactly the same time
- 00:09:51and we hear about experiments like this
- 00:09:54we think of an energy that's being
- 00:09:55transmitted from point A to point B and
- 00:09:58if the energy comes from one place and
- 00:10:00has to get somewhere else you would
- 00:10:02expect that there would be a a lag time
- 00:10:05a little bit of time between when the
- 00:10:08emotion is is created than when the DNA
- 00:10:10is responding that's not what happened
- 00:10:12what happened in these experiments and
- 00:10:14this is very very key to where we're
- 00:10:16going as we begin talking about the
- 00:10:18power of prayer what happened in these
- 00:10:20experiments is that the effects were
- 00:10:23simultaneous they were instantaneous the
- 00:10:25instant that the owner was having his
- 00:10:27emotion the DNA was was already affected
- 00:10:29as if there were no transition time
- 00:10:32between the two
- 00:10:33well these experiments were first
- 00:10:34conducted
- 00:10:36within rooms or separated by distances
- 00:10:39of maybe 50 feet
- 00:10:41later experiments however were conducted
- 00:10:44where the DNA and the donor were
- 00:10:46separated by hundreds of miles hundreds
- 00:10:48of miles had the opportunity to meet the
- 00:10:51designer of one of these experiments Dr
- 00:10:52Cleve Baxter
- 00:10:54and he shared with me one of the
- 00:10:55experiments that he had designed where
- 00:10:58the donor was in Los Angeles but the DNA
- 00:11:00was in Phoenix Arizona almost 400 miles
- 00:11:03apart and the effects were precisely the
- 00:11:05same whether they're in the same
- 00:11:07building or separated by 400 miles the
- 00:11:09effect is instantaneous
- 00:11:11this opens the door to all kinds of
- 00:11:13possibilities as to how that DNA
- 00:11:16remained linked to the donor what it
- 00:11:19says to us once again is that we're
- 00:11:22communicating with DNA through our
- 00:11:25emotions and that whether the DNA is
- 00:11:28within our bodies or were separated by
- 00:11:30distances of hundreds of miles the
- 00:11:32effect is the same
- 00:11:33we call this a non-local energy it means
- 00:11:36it's everywhere all the time because
- 00:11:39because the energy doesn't have to
- 00:11:41travel from point A to point B
- 00:11:44so the third experiment was conducted
- 00:11:46again in the early 1990s by The
- 00:11:48Institute of heart and math a pioneering
- 00:11:51research organization based in Northern
- 00:11:54California
- 00:11:55that are exploring uh the human heart is
- 00:11:59much more than simply as a pump that
- 00:12:01moves blood through our bodies and
- 00:12:02although the heart our hearts do do
- 00:12:04precisely that it may be the least of
- 00:12:06what our hearts do they're they're
- 00:12:07discovering that our hearts are the
- 00:12:11strongest uh magnetic field in our
- 00:12:14bodies and the electromagnetic field
- 00:12:16that is produced by our hearts has an
- 00:12:18effect that extends well beyond our
- 00:12:20bodies the heart math Institute had
- 00:12:22earlier discovered that around every
- 00:12:25human heart there is a field of energy
- 00:12:27shaped like a tube it's called a tube
- 00:12:30Taurus and extends between five and
- 00:12:31eight feet beyond the human heart and
- 00:12:34the question is in this already
- 00:12:36acknowledged field could there be
- 00:12:38another form of energy that is being
- 00:12:41carried by this field beyond our bodies
- 00:12:43so the design an experiment to to test
- 00:12:46precisely this Theory there's no
- 00:12:48surprise they took some human DNA and
- 00:12:51they isolated the DNA
- 00:12:53and asked individuals that were trained
- 00:12:55to feel what are called coherent human
- 00:12:58emotions very clear emotions of Love
- 00:13:01appreciation Compassion or anger rage
- 00:13:04and hate to have those feelings on
- 00:13:07demand and as the people who are trained
- 00:13:10to have the feelings did so they
- 00:13:12measured the way the DNA responded and
- 00:13:14what they found was this they found that
- 00:13:16in the presence of of appreciation love
- 00:13:19compassion forgiveness the DNA became
- 00:13:22tremendously relaxed and what we know
- 00:13:25from other experiments is this relaxed
- 00:13:28state of DNA actually enhances our
- 00:13:30immune response when you ask people what
- 00:13:33it is about the the feelings of love and
- 00:13:36compassion that give us our high immune
- 00:13:38response uh this may begin to tell us
- 00:13:41why because the DNA is is relaxed and
- 00:13:44actually allows certain portions of
- 00:13:47those little switches if you want to
- 00:13:48think of them that way to be enabled or
- 00:13:50turned on and just the opposite is true
- 00:13:52as well in the presence of anger rage
- 00:13:55hate jealousy DNA was tightened like
- 00:13:58like a little knot and it actually shut
- 00:14:01down in some instances those little
- 00:14:03switches depleted the immune response
- 00:14:06intuitively we know this we know that
- 00:14:08when people live in a state of jealousy
- 00:14:11or anger or rage that depresses Those
- 00:14:14portions of our of our bodies and just
- 00:14:17the opposite love compassion
- 00:14:18understanding forgiveness that that
- 00:14:21those kinds of things are enhanced and
- 00:14:23now perhaps for the first time time
- 00:14:24these experiments are beginning to help
- 00:14:26us to understand why it's the effect of
- 00:14:29human emotion on what is called the con
- 00:14:32formation or the shape of the DNA in our
- 00:14:35bodies and what these experiments show
- 00:14:37then what the lab results the lab notes
- 00:14:40and the published papers actually
- 00:14:41described was that very specific kinds
- 00:14:45of human emotion have the power to
- 00:14:48change the shape of the DNA in our
- 00:14:50bodies
- 00:14:51this is an amazing thing to say because
- 00:14:54what it says is that on demand when we
- 00:14:57choose to elicit very specific kinds of
- 00:15:00feelings emotions inside of our bodies
- 00:15:01we actually have the power to change the
- 00:15:05way the DNA functions in our bodies this
- 00:15:07is the the beginning of an internal
- 00:15:09technology perhaps a very ancient
- 00:15:12technology that was described in
- 00:15:14languages of our past that we're only
- 00:15:15beginning to understand
- 00:15:17well each of these three experiments was
- 00:15:19interesting unto itself in some
- 00:15:22instances the researchers were not aware
- 00:15:24of of the experiments at the other the
- 00:15:26other Laboratories were doing and these
- 00:15:28experiments are only representative
- 00:15:29other experiments have been conducted
- 00:15:31along the same lines giving the same
- 00:15:34kinds of results when you put them all
- 00:15:36together however rather than being
- 00:15:39interesting isolated experiments they
- 00:15:41begin to tell a story and the story
- 00:15:43looks something like this the first
- 00:15:45experiment Vladimir pulpinin's
- 00:15:47experiment said that the DNA in our
- 00:15:51bodies has a direct effect on our world
- 00:15:54on the physical stuff our world is made
- 00:15:57of on the energetic level
- 00:15:59the last experiment shows that human
- 00:16:02emotion has the ability to change the
- 00:16:05DNA that's having an effect on the world
- 00:16:07around us in the middle experiment the
- 00:16:10one that was conducted by the United
- 00:16:11States Army shows that whether we're in
- 00:16:14the same building or 400 miles apart the
- 00:16:16effect is the same we're not bound by
- 00:16:18space and time and as a matter of fact
- 00:16:21the results of the experiments are
- 00:16:23saying precisely this that you and I
- 00:16:24have a power within our bodies that is
- 00:16:26not bound by the laws of physics the way
- 00:16:29we understand them today that something
- 00:16:31within us linked directly to the emotion
- 00:16:33of our bodies thoughts feelings our
- 00:16:36prayers our beliefs transcends the
- 00:16:38limits of time and space the way we
- 00:16:40begin to understand them today
- 00:16:49ancient Traditions describe this in the
- 00:16:52language of their time
- 00:16:53not only do they say that we are
- 00:16:55connected to the world around us just
- 00:16:57the way Western science is now
- 00:16:58discovering they invite us one step
- 00:17:01further and they say here's how you
- 00:17:02apply it in your life
- 00:17:04they left us very very clear
- 00:17:06instructions saying this is the way you
- 00:17:09use this power this inner technology
- 00:17:11within you to bring about change in your
- 00:17:14world to bring about healing in your
- 00:17:16body to bring about peace in your
- 00:17:17families and in your communities and
- 00:17:19collectively as many people come
- 00:17:21together these principles work as peace
- 00:17:23between nations as well and I'll share
- 00:17:25with you some of the the studies that
- 00:17:26that were done that describe precisely
- 00:17:30how this begins to work one of the
- 00:17:32questions that I'm often asked with
- 00:17:34regard to this material is if these
- 00:17:36relationships exist if they truly exist
- 00:17:38why do we know about them today why
- 00:17:40doesn't Western science understand these
- 00:17:42principles why are we just now
- 00:17:43discovering them well the answer to that
- 00:17:46question
- 00:17:47begins in our understanding that the way
- 00:17:50we view our world today
- 00:17:52our knowledge is part of a lineage of
- 00:17:55wisdom that links us with our past
- 00:17:59and we know that that link the link that
- 00:18:02ties us with those who have come before
- 00:18:04us has been broken at least two times a
- 00:18:06recorded history
- 00:18:07twice in recorded history something
- 00:18:09happened an event occurred and we lost
- 00:18:11information and in some instances it's
- 00:18:14information pertaining precisely what
- 00:18:16we're doing right now the first one of
- 00:18:18those breaks was with the the burning of
- 00:18:20the Great Library of Alexandria in the
- 00:18:224th century
- 00:18:23while we don't know precisely what was
- 00:18:26in that Library what we do know is that
- 00:18:28Roman historians had cataloged volumes
- 00:18:31and volumes of information Scrolls is
- 00:18:34the way the material was written at that
- 00:18:35time the Roman historian kalamachos for
- 00:18:38example cataloged over 536
- 00:18:43000 Scrolls in The Great Library of
- 00:18:46Alexandria before it was burned and many
- 00:18:47of them were very ancient in that time
- 00:18:49in the 4th century and we know that the
- 00:18:52Scrolls contained some of the most
- 00:18:53ancient documents of of the hebraic
- 00:18:56ancient Hebrew traditions of the
- 00:18:59Egyptian astronomical Traditions medical
- 00:19:01Traditions much of the wisdom that had
- 00:19:03been passed down from thousands of years
- 00:19:05earlier
- 00:19:07describing our relationship to our world
- 00:19:09to one another and perhaps to something
- 00:19:11even greater
- 00:19:13when that Library burned we know we lost
- 00:19:15tremendous amounts of information then
- 00:19:17and the second time was with the edits
- 00:19:20of the western biblical texts the
- 00:19:22biblical traditions in the 4th Century
- 00:19:24as well in the year 325 A.D it was
- 00:19:28during this time in the early Christian
- 00:19:30Traditions when the emperor Constantine
- 00:19:32pulled together a council uh and at that
- 00:19:35time there was no biblical text nice
- 00:19:38neat compiled text the way we see it
- 00:19:40today it was a loose assemblage uh many
- 00:19:42of the of the texts were redundant some
- 00:19:44of them were poorly written uh and very
- 00:19:46few people were able to access this
- 00:19:48material in Constantine in an effort to
- 00:19:51make it more accessible to a broad
- 00:19:53General audience pull together a council
- 00:19:55within the church and said Council make
- 00:19:57me some recommendations what should we
- 00:19:59leave in what should we take out how
- 00:20:00should we arrange this material
- 00:20:02and and the result of that was what we
- 00:20:04call today our Western biblical text
- 00:20:06biblical tradition we know that at least
- 00:20:0820 books were completely removed and
- 00:20:11another 20 to 25 were tremendously
- 00:20:14edited and the remaining texts were
- 00:20:16condensed and rearranged into what we
- 00:20:18see today as our as our Biblical text so
- 00:20:22as good as our Bible is today the best
- 00:20:25biblical Scholars will openly and freely
- 00:20:27admit that it is incomplete and we know
- 00:20:30this because we're finding these
- 00:20:32documents in places like the Dead Sea
- 00:20:34Scrolls Library this is why they were so
- 00:20:35controversial we found the Dead Sea
- 00:20:38Scrolls for the first time we were able
- 00:20:40to see many of these books in their
- 00:20:42original form some of them hadn't been
- 00:20:43seen for 1700 years and interestingly
- 00:20:46many of the books that were edited or
- 00:20:49taken out completely are precisely the
- 00:20:51documents that describe our relationship
- 00:20:54to the universe and creation around us
- 00:20:56through the power of human emotion
- 00:21:01foreign
- 00:21:08so now that science is beginning to tell
- 00:21:10us in its language
- 00:21:12ancient spiritual Traditions have shown
- 00:21:14this in their way in our own texts and
- 00:21:16documents we're seeing references to
- 00:21:19precisely how these principles work the
- 00:21:21question is how do we apply them in our
- 00:21:24lives how do we go about making use of
- 00:21:26this relationship between thoughts
- 00:21:29feelings and emotions inside of our
- 00:21:30bodies and what's happening in the world
- 00:21:32around us
- 00:21:33well perhaps the the best place to begin
- 00:21:35is by defining what a thought and a
- 00:21:38feeling an emotion really are
- 00:21:40I've had this conversation with my mom
- 00:21:42many many times mom always says to me
- 00:21:44she goes I always thought feelings and
- 00:21:46emotions were the same thing
- 00:21:47and while they're closely related there
- 00:21:49is there is a difference
- 00:21:51so if we think of a of a chart if you
- 00:21:54look at the ancient charts of the energy
- 00:21:56centers in our bodies the chakra centers
- 00:21:58if you will
- 00:22:00what we see is the lower three energy
- 00:22:02centers of our bodies they are closely
- 00:22:04associated with we call the power of
- 00:22:06human emotion and the Ancients said
- 00:22:08we're capable of only two primary
- 00:22:11emotions they said we're capable of the
- 00:22:12emotion of love and whatever we believe
- 00:22:15the opposite of Love really is
- 00:22:18whether we think of that as fear or hate
- 00:22:21and when you get really deep into the
- 00:22:23traditions we find is is they're
- 00:22:25actually both polarities of the same
- 00:22:26Force so in those lower Sinners the
- 00:22:29power of emotion uh we have two primary
- 00:22:34experiences love and whatever we believe
- 00:22:36the opposite of Love really is this is a
- 00:22:38power it's a force that drives us
- 00:22:40forward in life and it tears Down the
- 00:22:42Walls uh knocks down the barriers that
- 00:22:45stand between us and the things that we
- 00:22:47hold dear in our lives
- 00:22:49emotion however is scattered it has to
- 00:22:52be focused you can think of it as a
- 00:22:54power if you know people who lives
- 00:22:55strictly in their emotions you know that
- 00:22:58sometimes their lives can be a little
- 00:22:59chaotic
- 00:23:00well the emotions need to be focused and
- 00:23:02this is where the power of thought or
- 00:23:04logic come in It's associated with the
- 00:23:06upper energy centers of the body
- 00:23:09thought is what gives Focus or direction
- 00:23:12to the emotions in other words we have a
- 00:23:14thought about something we have a
- 00:23:17thought about a cloudy day outside
- 00:23:20and that thought into that thought we
- 00:23:23pump we fuel the power of the the
- 00:23:25emotion either our love of that rainy
- 00:23:28day or our fear of what that rainy day
- 00:23:30may bring to us
- 00:23:32and by doing so when we marry the power
- 00:23:35of emotion with the direction of the
- 00:23:37thought by virtue of that we create a
- 00:23:40feeling so Feeling by definition is the
- 00:23:42union of emotion and the thought and the
- 00:23:45one Energy Center interestingly enough
- 00:23:46that is not accounted for in all the
- 00:23:50other systems that remains unused in
- 00:23:53these ancient systems is the heart
- 00:23:55center and this is the one that is
- 00:23:57dedicated to the power of feeling we
- 00:23:59feel in our hearts
- 00:24:01so the feeling that we have in our
- 00:24:03hearts is the language
- 00:24:05that speaks to the field
- 00:24:08that Western science is now beginning to
- 00:24:11to understand through through their
- 00:24:12experiments it's the power of human
- 00:24:15feeling that is the language that opens
- 00:24:18the door to the possibilities of what we
- 00:24:20create in our world
- 00:24:22well scientists today
- 00:24:24as they think about this field it is so
- 00:24:28new the idea is so new that they've yet
- 00:24:31to agree even on a single term some
- 00:24:33scientists call this the quantum
- 00:24:34hologram some call it Nature's mind Dr
- 00:24:37Ed Mitchell former Apollo astronaut
- 00:24:39calls this Nature's mind scientists like
- 00:24:42Stephen Hawking call it the mind of God
- 00:24:44is varied as the names appear to be
- 00:24:47they're all speaking about essentially
- 00:24:49the same field and they describe this
- 00:24:51field as a web or a net that underlies
- 00:24:54the fabric that links everything
- 00:24:56together and it is this fabric this web
- 00:24:59this net is what we speak to with the
- 00:25:01feelings in our bodies with the feelings
- 00:25:03in our hearts
- 00:25:04ancient Traditions not only recognized
- 00:25:08this relationship they invite us one
- 00:25:11step further and they left precise
- 00:25:13instructions in terms of how we apply
- 00:25:15this in our lives
- 00:25:17the late 1980s I was an engineer working
- 00:25:19in the defense in Aerospace corporations
- 00:25:21I began exploring these Concepts as an
- 00:25:25engineer looking in the world around me
- 00:25:28to understand the history of those who
- 00:25:31have come before us and is that thinking
- 00:25:34that led me into the journeys of some of
- 00:25:35the most amazing places in the world
- 00:25:37from the temples in Egypt the Andes
- 00:25:39Mountains of Bolivia and Peru in the
- 00:25:41India and Nepal the highlands of central
- 00:25:43China and Tibet all through the American
- 00:25:45Desert Southwest
- 00:25:47searching for information and clues that
- 00:25:50would help us to understand how we
- 00:25:52relate to the world and how we can use
- 00:25:53this this power of feeling this power
- 00:25:55that speaks the language the world
- 00:25:58around us
- 00:26:00so as an engineer when I began studying
- 00:26:02the principles of those who have come
- 00:26:05before us the information that they left
- 00:26:06so we could understand our relationship
- 00:26:08to the world around us and this ancient
- 00:26:11technology that today we call prayer my
- 00:26:14thinking was that this kind of
- 00:26:16information would be best preserved in
- 00:26:18places that have been least disturbed by
- 00:26:20Western Civilization
- 00:26:22and this thinking led me into a journey
- 00:26:25first time in 1998 into the highlands of
- 00:26:29central China into Tibet where we had
- 00:26:32the opportunity to explore 12
- 00:26:33monasteries and two nunaries
- 00:26:36speaking through the translators to
- 00:26:39those who actually live these principles
- 00:26:41in their lives this is the value of
- 00:26:43going to a place like Tibet a living
- 00:26:44culture we can go into temples
- 00:26:47in Egypt or temples of the Mayan temples
- 00:26:49in the Yucatan in as fastening as they
- 00:26:52are and as much information as they hold
- 00:26:53the cultures
- 00:26:55that left that kind of information no
- 00:26:57longer exist so at very best we are
- 00:27:00speculating in terms of what they're
- 00:27:01saying to us when we go into a monastery
- 00:27:04in Tibet we can actually speak with the
- 00:27:07people who are there and we can ask them
- 00:27:08when we see your prayers on the outside
- 00:27:11what are you doing on the inside what
- 00:27:13happens what happens to your
- 00:27:15what are you thinking what are you
- 00:27:17feeling what are you emoting
- 00:27:18well it was in Tibet where I had the
- 00:27:21opportunity to meet with an Abbott of
- 00:27:23one of the monasteries and I asked him
- 00:27:25through the translator
- 00:27:26same thing we'd ask all the monks and
- 00:27:28all the nuns it was his answer that was
- 00:27:30so clear
- 00:27:31to me and I I asked him when we see your
- 00:27:36prayers for 12 and 14 and 16 hours a day
- 00:27:39when we see the mudras and the mantras
- 00:27:42and the bells and the Bulls and the
- 00:27:43gongs and the Chimes and the chance that
- 00:27:45you're doing in your prayers for so long
- 00:27:48on the outside I said what are you doing
- 00:27:50on the inside what happens on the inside
- 00:27:53and they haven't looked at me and I like
- 00:27:54to think he was laughing with me oh he
- 00:27:57may have been laughing at me because he
- 00:27:59said through the translator again he
- 00:28:01said you've never seen our prayers
- 00:28:02because a prayer cannot be seen he said
- 00:28:05what you have seen are the things that
- 00:28:07we do to create the feeling in our
- 00:28:10bodies
- 00:28:11feeling is the prayer
- 00:28:13then he turned the question on me and he
- 00:28:15said how do you do it in your culture
- 00:28:16how do you do this in your culture and I
- 00:28:19began to think about the way we think
- 00:28:21about prayer in our culture today when
- 00:28:24we lost the texts that describe how the
- 00:28:27power of emotion and feeling are
- 00:28:29actually the language that connect us
- 00:28:31with the universe and the creation
- 00:28:33around us
- 00:28:34we began to believe that words are
- 00:28:36simply the prayers if we say the right
- 00:28:38words the right number of times the
- 00:28:40right day of the year the right time of
- 00:28:42day that we've said the prayer and his
- 00:28:45well-intentioned as those prayers may be
- 00:28:46what we know is that there is a modality
- 00:28:49of prayer that carries us far beyond
- 00:28:51where simply offering the words will
- 00:28:54carry us
- 00:28:57[Music]
- 00:29:05Western prayer researchers today
- 00:29:09identify four modalities of prayer they
- 00:29:12say when we pray in the west we use one
- 00:29:14or some combination of these four modes
- 00:29:17of Prayer
- 00:29:18the first is an informal prayer that's
- 00:29:21called the colloquial prayer
- 00:29:23I had a friend of mine that lived in in
- 00:29:25the Bay Area in San Francisco it would
- 00:29:27say this informal prayer coming home
- 00:29:29from work every Friday on on the on the
- 00:29:32interstate dear God if you let me get to
- 00:29:35the Conoco station before my tank runs
- 00:29:37out of gas I'll never let my tank get
- 00:29:39this low again and that is an informal
- 00:29:41prayer to God
- 00:29:43the second mode of prayer is what is
- 00:29:46called a petitionary prayer where we
- 00:29:48petition the powers to be we petition
- 00:29:50the Angels or Angels or we petition God
- 00:29:54amen
- 00:29:55dear God I I claim the right to heal and
- 00:30:00be healed now in all past present future
- 00:30:02manifestations that would be a
- 00:30:04petitionary kind of Prayer
- 00:30:06the third mode of prayer is a
- 00:30:07ritualistic prayer
- 00:30:09uh now I lay me down to sleep God is
- 00:30:11great God is good and the fourth mode of
- 00:30:13Prayer
- 00:30:15is a prayer that has no words it's
- 00:30:17simply a meditative prayer where we
- 00:30:20become aware of of a presence around us
- 00:30:23and in the silence and there's some
- 00:30:26dispute as to whether or not this is
- 00:30:28even a mode of prayer or not but this is
- 00:30:30the way Western prayer researchers
- 00:30:31typically think of Prayer in our world
- 00:30:34today and as good as those modes are as
- 00:30:37well as they describe the way we pray
- 00:30:39there's always been another mode a fifth
- 00:30:42mode
- 00:30:42that is not described in these
- 00:30:46modalities and this is precisely what
- 00:30:48the Abbot in Tibet was describing to us
- 00:30:51he was describing a mode of prayer
- 00:30:53that's based in feeling
- 00:30:55and he said we must feel the feeling as
- 00:30:58if the prayer has already been answered
- 00:31:00and in that feeling we are speaking to
- 00:31:04the forces of creation allowing the
- 00:31:07world to respond to us allowing this
- 00:31:09field the quantum hologram the mind of
- 00:31:11God to respond to us with what it is
- 00:31:13that we are feeling within our hearts
- 00:31:16so rather than praying and feeling
- 00:31:19powerless in a given situation dear God
- 00:31:21please let there be peace in the world
- 00:31:23this mode of prayer invites us to feel
- 00:31:26as if we are participating in that peace
- 00:31:29just as John Wheeler suggested
- 00:31:31that we are part of all that we see and
- 00:31:33as we feel the peace in our world or the
- 00:31:35healing in the bodies of our loved ones
- 00:31:37we are actually empowering the field to
- 00:31:40mirror that back to us in a way that
- 00:31:43will bring those changes about in our
- 00:31:45lives in our world well this is
- 00:31:47precisely what the Abbot was saying to
- 00:31:49us in the monastery in Tibet
- 00:31:53the early 1990s I had the opportunity to
- 00:31:56see this mode of Prayer
- 00:31:58this feeling-based prayer enacted in a
- 00:32:02real-time situation and I'd like to
- 00:32:04share the story because it perhaps best
- 00:32:07describes what otherwise is is a
- 00:32:10nebulous concept regarding precisely how
- 00:32:13feeling based prayer Works in our lives
- 00:32:17during the 1990s early 1990s the desert
- 00:32:19Southwest
- 00:32:21was experiencing one of the worst
- 00:32:22droughts in history
- 00:32:24and a Native American friend of mine
- 00:32:25invited me to join him one day in a
- 00:32:29place in the high deserts in Northern
- 00:32:30New Mexico
- 00:32:32to share in a prayer of rain I didn't
- 00:32:35have to ask me twice I said you bet I'd
- 00:32:37love I'd love to participate and see
- 00:32:39what this prayer is all about
- 00:32:41so we met at a an agreed upon location
- 00:32:43and we hiked through several a hundred
- 00:32:46thousand acres of beautiful high
- 00:32:48mountain desert sage
- 00:32:50until we came to a place that was so old
- 00:32:53even the people today don't know who
- 00:32:56built this place it was essentially a
- 00:32:58stone circle each Stone was placed just
- 00:33:02as it was by the hands of the ancestors
- 00:33:04so long ago
- 00:33:05that was in this place that my friend
- 00:33:07began his prayer what he did was he
- 00:33:10removed his shoes stepped into the
- 00:33:12circle in his bare feet
- 00:33:14he honored all of his ancestors he
- 00:33:15simply said all of my ancestors all of
- 00:33:18my ancestors
- 00:33:19honored the four directions he turned
- 00:33:21his back to me held his hand in a prayer
- 00:33:23position just a few seconds
- 00:33:27and then he turned around and looked at
- 00:33:28me and he said I'm hungry let's go get a
- 00:33:31bite to eat
- 00:33:32and I said I thought you were going to
- 00:33:35share this prayer I thought you were
- 00:33:36going to pray for rain
- 00:33:38and he looked at me and he said no he
- 00:33:41said because if we prayed for rain
- 00:33:44rain could never happen
- 00:33:46because the moment you pray for
- 00:33:48something to occur you've just
- 00:33:50acknowledged that it does not exist in
- 00:33:52that moment
- 00:33:53and I thought about what he said it made
- 00:33:55a lot of sense to me if I say dear God
- 00:33:58please let there be peace in the world
- 00:34:00what I'm saying in that moment is that
- 00:34:01peace isn't there and I may
- 00:34:03inadvertently be empowering the very
- 00:34:06condition that I would like to change
- 00:34:08and the same with the healing in my body
- 00:34:10or the body of my loved ones
- 00:34:12so I asked my friend I said if you
- 00:34:14didn't Pray For Rain just then what what
- 00:34:16did you just do what happened when you
- 00:34:18closed your eyes
- 00:34:20and you turn your back to me just for
- 00:34:22those few moments and what he said was
- 00:34:23this
- 00:34:24he said when I close my eyes I began to
- 00:34:27feel the feeling
- 00:34:29of what it feels like to have rain in
- 00:34:32our Pueblo Village
- 00:34:33he said I smell the smells
- 00:34:36of what it smells like when the rain
- 00:34:38falls off the Earth and walls of our
- 00:34:40buildings and I felt the feeling of what
- 00:34:43it feels like with my naked feet in the
- 00:34:45mud there's so much mud because there's
- 00:34:47been so much rain
- 00:34:48he said in that way I opened the door to
- 00:34:51the possibility to bring rain into our
- 00:34:54world
- 00:34:55well I think about this mode of prayer a
- 00:34:57lot later that afternoon something
- 00:35:00amazing happened I was watching the
- 00:35:01weather maps and the drought that had
- 00:35:02happened for so long suddenly changed we
- 00:35:05saw the high pressure system move across
- 00:35:07Utah and then dipped down from Colorado
- 00:35:09in the Northern New Mexico and make a
- 00:35:11little U-turn and come right back up we
- 00:35:13had rain that night we had rain all the
- 00:35:16next day it rained and rained and I
- 00:35:17called my friend and I asked him I said
- 00:35:19there's so much rain the valleys are
- 00:35:21flooding the roads are flooding what in
- 00:35:22the world is going on and he was quiet
- 00:35:24just for a moment and he said
- 00:35:26that's the part of the prayer he said I
- 00:35:28never quite figured out
- 00:35:30so I have no way of scientifically
- 00:35:32validating
- 00:35:34that my friend's prayer had anything to
- 00:35:35do with that rain but the correlations
- 00:35:37are so high we see it happen so many
- 00:35:40times we know there is an effect
- 00:35:431972 24 United States cities
- 00:35:47were used to conduct an experiment
- 00:35:50where people were trained to feel the
- 00:35:52feeling of Peace in a very specific
- 00:35:55Manner and they were strategically
- 00:35:57strategically placed in these cities
- 00:35:59each City had populations over ten
- 00:36:02thousand people and these were
- 00:36:04documented in some of the very
- 00:36:05well-known TM studies that were done
- 00:36:07back in the in the early 70s
- 00:36:11and what happened was during the time
- 00:36:13that the people were feeling the
- 00:36:15feelings of Peace in the community
- 00:36:17around them beyond the buildings where
- 00:36:19they were having their experience the
- 00:36:21communities experienced statistically
- 00:36:23measurable reductions in crime violent
- 00:36:27crimes against people traffic accidents
- 00:36:29declined in some cities like Chicago
- 00:36:32where the stock exchanges the stock
- 00:36:34market soared while peace was in place
- 00:36:36and when they stopped their prayers all
- 00:36:39those statistics reversed and they did
- 00:36:42this time and time again to such a
- 00:36:44degree that the effect could be measured
- 00:36:47and it was applied in an even greater
- 00:36:50experiment that was documented in the
- 00:36:52Journal of conflict resolution
- 00:36:531988 and this was the experiment it was
- 00:36:57called the International Peace project
- 00:36:59in the Middle East what happened during
- 00:37:01the Israeli Lebanese war in the early
- 00:37:031980s as a result of these earlier
- 00:37:06studies people who were trained to feel
- 00:37:08the feelings of Peace were positioned
- 00:37:10throughout the war-torn areas in Israel
- 00:37:13and Lebanon
- 00:37:14and during the time what the researchers
- 00:37:17called the window the prayer window
- 00:37:19when they were feeling people were
- 00:37:23trained to feel the feelings of Peace in
- 00:37:24their hearts when they were feeling
- 00:37:25those feelings terrorist activities
- 00:37:28dropped to zero crimes against people
- 00:37:30declined emergency hospital room visits
- 00:37:32declined and they tried doing these
- 00:37:34experiments different times of day
- 00:37:36different days of the week to make sure
- 00:37:38it wasn't in effect of weeks or weekends
- 00:37:41or holidays or or at different times of
- 00:37:43the month to make sure it wasn't an
- 00:37:44effect of lunar cycles affecting people
- 00:37:47and when the studies were complete what
- 00:37:49they found although we may not know
- 00:37:51precisely why this effect happens the
- 00:37:54way it happens we know the correlations
- 00:37:56are so high that when a certain number
- 00:37:59of people
- 00:38:00begin to feel the feeling of peace or
- 00:38:03healing in their bodies in one place the
- 00:38:06effect carries into the community beyond
- 00:38:09the place where these people are
- 00:38:12and it is so precise that we now know
- 00:38:15the statisticians were able to determine
- 00:38:17precisely the number of people that are
- 00:38:20required to kick start to jump start
- 00:38:22this kind of an effect so I'll share the
- 00:38:25the formula and then I'll describe what
- 00:38:27that formula means
- 00:38:29the effect is first noticed when a
- 00:38:33certain number of people are
- 00:38:34participating
- 00:38:36and that number the minimum number is
- 00:38:38the square root of one percent of a
- 00:38:40given population
- 00:38:42so what does that mean if you have a
- 00:38:44city of one million people for example
- 00:38:46you take one percent of one million on
- 00:38:48your little calculator and then you take
- 00:38:50the square root of whatever that one
- 00:38:52percent was and that number tells you
- 00:38:55how many people are necessary the
- 00:38:58threshold number to begin the effect
- 00:39:00obviously the more people that
- 00:39:02participate the greater the effect
- 00:39:04for a city of one million people that
- 00:39:07number is only about 100.
- 00:39:09in a world of six billion people
- 00:39:12square root of one percent of the given
- 00:39:15population is only about 8 000 people
- 00:39:188 000 people according to these studies
- 00:39:21are the number of people that's all
- 00:39:24that's required to feel the feelings of
- 00:39:26Peace in their hearts in a given moment
- 00:39:28in time simultaneously to Kickstart to
- 00:39:31jump start that Consciousness linked
- 00:39:33through the field as we know the field
- 00:39:35exists today before that peace is felt
- 00:39:39in the world around us
- 00:39:42foreign
- 00:39:50discussion regarding this feeling-based
- 00:39:53prayer this lost mode of prayer
- 00:39:56sometimes seems a little more than
- 00:39:58academic until we can actually apply it
- 00:40:01in our lives or see it applied in our
- 00:40:03lives it's the late 1990s that I had the
- 00:40:05opportunity to do precisely that when I
- 00:40:08saw the footage documenting the healing
- 00:40:12of a life-threatening condition within
- 00:40:15the body of a living woman using
- 00:40:17precisely the kinds of techniques that
- 00:40:19we're speaking about right now for me it
- 00:40:22was this kind of information that took
- 00:40:24this lost modality of prayer out of the
- 00:40:27realm of of academics into something
- 00:40:29that's very real that we can apply in
- 00:40:30our lives I had the opportunity during
- 00:40:32that time to see some video footage of
- 00:40:35the healing of a three inch diameter
- 00:40:38bladder cancer inside the body of a
- 00:40:41woman who by medical Western Medical
- 00:40:43standards have been diagnosed inoperable
- 00:40:45she had gone as a last resort to
- 00:40:47medicinalist Hospital in Beijing China
- 00:40:50it was in this medicineless hospital
- 00:40:52where they began simply by addressing
- 00:40:55the life-affirming ways that she could
- 00:40:58change how she was living her life they
- 00:41:00taught her life-affirming ways to
- 00:41:03breathe and life-affirming ways to
- 00:41:04nourish her body gentle movements to
- 00:41:07stimulate the energy centers in her body
- 00:41:09and as she was doing these and
- 00:41:11strengthening her body at one point it
- 00:41:14made sense to undergo a process now I'd
- 00:41:16like to share this I'd like to describe
- 00:41:17it to you as a very potent example of
- 00:41:21how the feeling world inside of our
- 00:41:23bodies has a direct effect uh in this
- 00:41:27case a very graphic effect on the world
- 00:41:28beyond our bodies
- 00:41:30so in the video documentation the film
- 00:41:32shows a woman lying on a in a hospital
- 00:41:36room she's fully awake she's fully
- 00:41:38conscious she believes in the process
- 00:41:40that's about to happen
- 00:41:42before her there is an ultrasound
- 00:41:44technician who is running an ultrasound
- 00:41:47wand over her lower abdomen that we can
- 00:41:49see on the split screen television and
- 00:41:52on the left hand side of the screen they
- 00:41:55do a snapshot a freeze frame of an
- 00:41:57instant in time for reference so we can
- 00:41:59see what her condition looked like in
- 00:42:01that instant in time on the right hand
- 00:42:03side of the screen we are able to watch
- 00:42:05Real Time as three practitioners stand
- 00:42:10behind her working with the energy in
- 00:42:12her body and with the feelings in their
- 00:42:15bodies and what they do is they begin to
- 00:42:18chant a word that to them they've agreed
- 00:42:21upon that it reinforces the feeling
- 00:42:24within them that she's already healed
- 00:42:25the chant essentially says already
- 00:42:28healed already done
- 00:42:30and as they begin to to have this
- 00:42:33feeling and to say these words among
- 00:42:35themselves on the computer screen on the
- 00:42:38television screen we can watch in real
- 00:42:40time this cancerous tumor as it
- 00:42:43disappears in less than three minutes
- 00:42:45real time it's not like time lapse on a
- 00:42:48documentary where you see a rose unfold
- 00:42:50in 30 seconds and something that
- 00:42:53normally takes days this literally
- 00:42:55happens in less than three minutes her
- 00:42:58body responded to the feelings of the
- 00:43:02practitioners who are trained to have
- 00:43:04the kinds of feelings that they were
- 00:43:05having
- 00:43:07and all they were feeling was the
- 00:43:10feeling of what it feels like to be in
- 00:43:12the presence of a woman who is already
- 00:43:14healed fully enabled fully capacity they
- 00:43:17were not seeing her as a woman who was
- 00:43:19sick and they weren't saying bad cancer
- 00:43:21you've got to go away
- 00:43:25it's a very very different way of
- 00:43:27thinking about things it's a very
- 00:43:28graphic example of precisely how how
- 00:43:31this principle works
- 00:43:33I had the opportunity to speak to the
- 00:43:35gentleman
- 00:43:36Luke Chen that actually created this
- 00:43:38film and I asked him a question I said
- 00:43:40what if those three practitioners
- 00:43:42weren't there so could this woman have
- 00:43:43done this could any of us do this on our
- 00:43:46own they smiled at me when I asked him
- 00:43:48the question he said
- 00:43:50he said Greg in all probabilities she
- 00:43:52probably could have done it alone
- 00:43:54however there's something about us
- 00:43:56humans
- 00:43:58in that we seem to feel more empowered
- 00:44:01and stronger when we're supported by
- 00:44:03others
- 00:44:04in the things that we believe in and
- 00:44:06then the things that we choose to
- 00:44:08accomplish
- 00:44:09so while she probably could have had
- 00:44:10this feeling and done it herself having
- 00:44:13these three practitioners work with her
- 00:44:15was the threshold that it took for her
- 00:44:18body to respond all they were doing was
- 00:44:21having the feeling as if she were
- 00:44:22already healed in less than three
- 00:44:24minutes her body responded
- 00:44:26what western physics now is beginning to
- 00:44:28tell us is that the same energy the same
- 00:44:31field that led to the healing in this
- 00:44:33woman's body also leads to the peace
- 00:44:35between nations it's the same thing
- 00:44:37different scale same principle and I've
- 00:44:40been involved in experiments where
- 00:44:41hundreds of thousands of people joined
- 00:44:44together through the World Wide Web we
- 00:44:46were coordinated on the internet at a
- 00:44:48given hour of time a window of time when
- 00:44:52we were trained to feel the feelings of
- 00:44:54peace in our bodies during that time and
- 00:44:57when we did that
- 00:44:58statistically what happened in events
- 00:45:01around the world there were wartime
- 00:45:04events there were
- 00:45:06bombings aerial bombings in Iraq that
- 00:45:09were scheduled that were reversed during
- 00:45:12the window of time when this prayer was
- 00:45:15happening
- 00:45:17crimes against people declined emergency
- 00:45:19hospital room visits decline there are
- 00:45:22was a computer research project at
- 00:45:23Princeton University that was able to
- 00:45:25document a field of Consciousness on a
- 00:45:28global level while these prayers were
- 00:45:30going on and they saw a little glitch a
- 00:45:34glyph on the screen indicating that
- 00:45:36Consciousness was responding to hundreds
- 00:45:39of thousands of people feeling the
- 00:45:41feeling of Peace in the moment that it
- 00:45:42was occurring and what this tells us is
- 00:45:45that the field we're working with is a
- 00:45:47measurable field you can pick it up with
- 00:45:49equipment it could be measured on the
- 00:45:51computer screen
- 00:45:52this was part of the uh the research
- 00:45:55project the Princeton University that
- 00:45:57was called the global Consciousness
- 00:45:58project so the field is real it's out
- 00:46:01there and it responds to us in ways now
- 00:46:03that we're only beginning to understand
- 00:46:05even more recently the research has been
- 00:46:08done by the scientist Masaru imoto
- 00:46:10regarding the relationship between human
- 00:46:13emotion human feeling and water drops is
- 00:46:16showing this relationship even more
- 00:46:17poignantly what has happened is that
- 00:46:21these scientists this particular
- 00:46:22research project has discovered that
- 00:46:25droplets of water that make up over 70
- 00:46:28percent of our world anyway and 70
- 00:46:29percent of our bodies that these
- 00:46:31droplets of water respond to human
- 00:46:34emotion whether it is felt in the body
- 00:46:37or as it is actually written on labels
- 00:46:41that are placed on the vials of water
- 00:46:43and the emotion of the researcher as the
- 00:46:45labels are being written and placed onto
- 00:46:47those vials the vials are then Frozen
- 00:46:50for a specific period of time removed
- 00:46:54from the freezing process and as they
- 00:46:57begin to thaw they crystallize and the
- 00:46:59crystals
- 00:47:01are The Telltale sign of what is
- 00:47:03happening with the emotion for example
- 00:47:05they've taken water highly polluted
- 00:47:08highly toxic water from some of the most
- 00:47:10uh polluted dams in the center of Japan
- 00:47:14this water has never been known to
- 00:47:16crystallize they just can't get it to
- 00:47:18crystallize and when you look at under a
- 00:47:19microscope what you see it's a very
- 00:47:21muddy very nebulous form there are no
- 00:47:24symmetry there's no crystalline
- 00:47:27structure whatsoever
- 00:47:29before the emotions are in place after
- 00:47:32the emotions are there for example when
- 00:47:34500 people pray over some of this most
- 00:47:37polluted water the before image shows
- 00:47:40the water in its toxic State the after
- 00:47:42image of the same water shows this water
- 00:47:45beautifully formed beautifully clear
- 00:47:47beautifully crystalline perfectly
- 00:47:50symmetrical purely from the result of
- 00:47:54human emotion interacting and human
- 00:47:56feeling interacting with this field of
- 00:47:58water
- 00:47:59some of the other research has shown
- 00:48:01families where children and their
- 00:48:02parents have encircled a vial of water
- 00:48:05in a room that has never been found to
- 00:48:08crystallize again some of the very
- 00:48:09highly polluted and toxic water and what
- 00:48:12they do they make a game out of it the
- 00:48:13children they send love to the water
- 00:48:15they say we love you water we appreciate
- 00:48:17you water thank you water for what you
- 00:48:19bring to our world in our lives
- 00:48:22and in that innocence they are eliciting
- 00:48:25these genuine states of emotion and as
- 00:48:27the research continues it is precisely
- 00:48:30these vials of water that have received
- 00:48:33this kind of energy
- 00:48:34from from the children and their
- 00:48:36families feelings that the Ancients
- 00:48:38called prayer that the water begins to
- 00:48:41crystallize into beautiful symmetrical
- 00:48:44very clear forms showing once again that
- 00:48:47there's a direct effect between uh
- 00:48:50between what we feel in our bodies and
- 00:48:51what's happening in the world beyond our
- 00:48:53bodies and it's a beautiful beautiful
- 00:48:55very poignant example of how each of us
- 00:48:58has an opportunity to participate not to
- 00:49:02control and manipulate but rather
- 00:49:04participate in the events of our world
- 00:49:06the events of our lives our families our
- 00:49:09communities and our bodies through the
- 00:49:11field that links all in creation
- 00:49:13[Music]
- 00:49:19thank you
- 00:49:21[Music]
- 00:49:27one of the powerful principles most
- 00:49:30powerful principles regarding the way
- 00:49:32this field works is the fact that the
- 00:49:35field appears to be holographic in
- 00:49:37nature
- 00:49:38the definition of a hologram is that
- 00:49:41it's a pattern no matter how finely
- 00:49:44divided the pattern is the whole remains
- 00:49:47even in the smallest portion for example
- 00:49:49a few years ago there were bookmarks
- 00:49:52shiny little foil strips and when they
- 00:49:55were shown in direct light that had an
- 00:49:57image of a rose fully In Bloom or the
- 00:50:01image of mother Mary or the image of a
- 00:50:03dolphin jumping over a pyramid
- 00:50:06and in these bookmarks if they were
- 00:50:08truly Holograms you could take and cut
- 00:50:10them into the smallest smallest pieces
- 00:50:12and then take the smallest one of those
- 00:50:14and cut it again and look at it under
- 00:50:16magnification and the entire pattern
- 00:50:19would still remain even in the smallest
- 00:50:21smallest piece
- 00:50:23and I share this principle now
- 00:50:25because it appears that Consciousness
- 00:50:27our Consciousness through this field
- 00:50:29Works precisely this way
- 00:50:31what it means is that all of us as
- 00:50:34smaller portions of a greater pattern
- 00:50:36are connected and the seemingly little
- 00:50:38things that we do in our lives day in
- 00:50:40and day out the way we respond to one
- 00:50:42another at the family dinner table
- 00:50:43during our conversations the way that we
- 00:50:45feel about the six o'clock news the way
- 00:50:47that we respond to a driver that cuts us
- 00:50:49off on the freeway just before we get to
- 00:50:51our exit in those seemingly
- 00:50:52insignificant moments of life we are
- 00:50:55actually having a conversation with this
- 00:50:58field
- 00:50:59the quantum hologram the mind of God
- 00:51:01individually
- 00:51:02and we put all of our little
- 00:51:04conversations together that becomes the
- 00:51:06collective answer the field mirrors back
- 00:51:08our Collective love our Collective
- 00:51:10appreciation in gratitude or our
- 00:51:13Collective anger and rage and fear
- 00:51:16so as we watch the events in our lives
- 00:51:18and our world unfold and we ask
- 00:51:19ourselves why are these things happening
- 00:51:21and how can these things happen the way
- 00:51:23we see them we might want to keep these
- 00:51:26principles in mind and ask yourself do
- 00:51:29you believe do you see these principles
- 00:51:30that I've just described you see them
- 00:51:32playing out in the world around you and
- 00:51:34if so if the principle Works in One
- 00:51:37Direction that works in the other
- 00:51:38direction as we begin to feel the
- 00:51:41feelings of the things that we choose to
- 00:51:43experience in our lives in our world by
- 00:51:45definition the Hologram must mirror
- 00:51:47those things back to us
- 00:51:50I hear from so many people that when we
- 00:51:53offer our prayers
- 00:51:55from within our bodies that they need to
- 00:51:57be sent
- 00:51:58to the place that we choose for them to
- 00:52:01be if we want prayers in the Middle East
- 00:52:03that we have to send that energy there
- 00:52:04or if we want prayers of healing for our
- 00:52:07loved ones that we somehow have to
- 00:52:09transmit from our bodies to where our
- 00:52:12loved ones actually are
- 00:52:14well I know that these principles
- 00:52:17are well intentioned what the Hologram
- 00:52:19says to us is that we don't have to send
- 00:52:22anything anywhere it says that when we
- 00:52:24feel a feeling in our bodies it already
- 00:52:27exists everywhere because we are part of
- 00:52:31that whole just like the pattern is
- 00:52:33complete no matter how small we cut that
- 00:52:36bookmark
- 00:52:37we are little pieces of this greater
- 00:52:40hologram of this greater Consciousness
- 00:52:42and by virtue of Simply feeling and
- 00:52:45using the energy to create what we
- 00:52:48choose within our bodies it already
- 00:52:50exists everywhere all the time maybe
- 00:52:52you've had this experience have you ever
- 00:52:53gone to pick up the phone to call
- 00:52:56someone
- 00:52:57that you have an affinity for and found
- 00:53:00that they were already on the other end
- 00:53:02of the line
- 00:53:03my mom and I have this experience I try
- 00:53:05to call her at least once a week from
- 00:53:07wherever I am it's not unusual for me to
- 00:53:10pick up the phone and find that she's
- 00:53:12either already there or her Line's busy
- 00:53:13because she's calling me in that very
- 00:53:15moment
- 00:53:15so when that happens what is what is it
- 00:53:18that's occurring how does the
- 00:53:20information get from where I am to where
- 00:53:22she is so that we're having that
- 00:53:23simultaneous connection and I know
- 00:53:25almost everyone has had this experience
- 00:53:27before and the quantum hologram perhaps
- 00:53:30the holographic principle this is the
- 00:53:33answer to this question it's because
- 00:53:34when we feel something in one place to
- 00:53:37some degree that feeling is already
- 00:53:40existing in every other place and to the
- 00:53:43degree that we can focus
- 00:53:45that feeling within our bodies and hone
- 00:53:47our ability
- 00:53:48to feel those feelings clearly in our
- 00:53:50hearts rather than simply think them in
- 00:53:52our minds to that degree we have the
- 00:53:55opportunity for the kinds of healings
- 00:53:57that we see in the medicineless hospital
- 00:53:59and for the effects that we feel inside
- 00:54:02of our bodies to be carried beyond our
- 00:54:04bodies into the world around us
- 00:54:09so what does this information say to us
- 00:54:11today really about the way we live our
- 00:54:13lives and what we see happening in our
- 00:54:15world
- 00:54:16with the very least what it says
- 00:54:18is that there's something out there
- 00:54:20there's a field a living intelligence
- 00:54:22that links it connects everything in
- 00:54:24creation excluding nothing whatever we
- 00:54:27see happening in our world whatever we
- 00:54:28have happening in our bodies We Know by
- 00:54:31virtue of this principle that it's part
- 00:54:33of everything else
- 00:54:34we know that we are linked to the field
- 00:54:37through what we call thought feeling and
- 00:54:40emotion and specifically the feelings in
- 00:54:42our hearts are the language that speak
- 00:54:45to the field it's the language the field
- 00:54:47recognizes the field may not recognize
- 00:54:49the mental processes of language when we
- 00:54:53say dear God please let there be peace
- 00:54:56in our world however the field
- 00:54:58definitely recognizes the language of
- 00:55:00the feeling when we feel the feeling in
- 00:55:03our hearts as if that peace is already
- 00:55:04there
- 00:55:05these are the principles some of the
- 00:55:07most subtle and the most empowering
- 00:55:09principles that were left To Us by the
- 00:55:10Ancients in the language of their time
- 00:55:12today 400 years after the birth of
- 00:55:15Western science we're only now beginning
- 00:55:17to understand precisely the same
- 00:55:19principles
- 00:55:20so while we may not fully understand
- 00:55:22everything there is to know about this
- 00:55:25field where it comes from or why it's
- 00:55:28there we do know enough to apply in our
- 00:55:31lives the principles that we've seen
- 00:55:34work under laboratory conditions that
- 00:55:36the Ancients left for us as well
- 00:55:38from my perspective this is a very
- 00:55:41empowering very empowering body of
- 00:55:43information because it takes
- 00:55:45the idea of Prayer
- 00:55:48Beyond any religious or spiritual
- 00:55:50tradition that makes it an inner
- 00:55:52technology that's open to everyone
- 00:55:54regardless of our beliefs our lifestyles
- 00:55:57or our Bloodlines or our heritage or how
- 00:55:59or where we choose to live our lives
- 00:56:01what it says to us in every moment of
- 00:56:03life we're having a Feeling
- 00:56:05and by virtue of that feeling we're
- 00:56:07communicating to the world around us so
- 00:56:09rather than seeing a prayer is something
- 00:56:11that we do every once in a while
- 00:56:14when we'd like to change our world and
- 00:56:16we stop the prayer and get up and walk
- 00:56:17away perhaps we can redefine prayer as
- 00:56:22the way that we feel in our lives and
- 00:56:24because we're always feeling in every
- 00:56:26moment in life life becomes the prayer
- 00:56:27life becomes the Living Prayer we can
- 00:56:30always have the feelings of peace in our
- 00:56:32hearts whether we're driving down the
- 00:56:34freeway or studying in our classroom or
- 00:56:36going to the mall or the airport
- 00:56:38to some degree we can feel that feeling
- 00:56:40of Peace life becomes the prayer
- 00:56:42and as we look at the world around us
- 00:56:44and we see a world that so many people
- 00:56:47is changing so very very fast
- 00:56:50some people feel the world's absolutely
- 00:56:51out of control feel powerless to do
- 00:56:54anything about it these subtle
- 00:56:56principles remind us that we're part of
- 00:57:00all that we see that the world around us
- 00:57:02is nothing more and nothing less than a
- 00:57:04reflection of what we have become from
- 00:57:06within
- 00:57:08and in the language of those who have
- 00:57:09come before us we're reminded that we
- 00:57:13must become the very things that we
- 00:57:16choose to experience in life we must
- 00:57:18become the peace and the healing
- 00:57:21cooperation compassion the love the
- 00:57:24nurturing that we choose to experience
- 00:57:25in our lives we must become those very
- 00:57:27things so that the field has something
- 00:57:30to mirror back to us and in that way we
- 00:57:33each are given the guidelines hopefully
- 00:57:35to help us to become better people as we
- 00:57:38become better people in that way we
- 00:57:39build a better world
